If anyone willing to explain their portfolio and why they are holding will be appreciated.

I have lost a lot since January but hodling still and wants to buy more.

Any Good project suggestions will be helpful.

People are investing in EOS and Stellar Lumens at the moment. These two are having a very high popularity at the moment in the market.

I am holding, icon, stellar lumens, cardano, a little portion of eths and btcs, enjin coin and vechain, i diversified my portfolio a long time ago and still holding and will hold them for a while(praying for bull to come)

I think Stellar is the best coin that must be held now, Stellar has a pretty good potential in the next few months and market movements from Stellar are also faster than others.

People keep asking this question, but everyone has his own preference. Hence, I think it is impossible to give a good advice.

If you ask me what I hold, I hold the only coin that I believe in and understand the best, which is BTC.

The majority are holding Stellar Lumens and EOS. It will be a little too unbelievable but there are experts and long time investors who are still in HODL on BTC.

Atm i hold BTC, because i believe that it will skyrocket again like last year and I truly believe that bitcoin is the future. And because it is the most trusted coin I think.

I think that coins such as btc and ether will always be popular due to their great potential. it will be much better to use them than any other for crypto, to my mind, it is better to not hold too cheap coins

Now would be a good time to buy some more coins because of the dips. I’m currently holding bitcoin and a significant amount of NEO and Cardano as I’m hoping these two will boom soon by this uear or the next. EOS has made a name for itself in the market too so if you’re looking to buy more then go for EOS as well as Cardano.

I keep Ethereum because this is the best coin after bitcoin, and if the market starts to grow then investments in Ethereum will bring profit.

I have a strong holdings with xem and btc because I know this two great coin can go higher in the future. And this two coins works very well last year so I think if great bull market again xem and btc will become more profitable. I’m also planning to hold more Mozotoken, this is a new coin in this market but I see a great potential on Mozo.

You can buy all good ones from this dip if you want high profits in next bullr un, personally im a fan of btc, eth, ltc, neo and eos as main coins and im also holding some xyo, omx, evx, telcoin, wepower tokens as part of diversification of portfolio.

Bitcoin and ethereum is the best two coins which peoples are holding because they know these two coins price will rise more in the future.

Actually based on the market situation is very difficult to tell and in this current situation EOS and Stellar Lumens have good position to invest and hold.

I am holding some portion of eth, cardano, stellar, tron, electroneum, neo, verge, siacoin, mtc. I have bought various types of coins in the hope of minimizing loss in case of failure of one project or two. But I am planning to buy some more eth.

I agree that how many people - so many opinions. Everyone has their favorite coin or a few coins that they believe in. I believe in Bitcoin and Ethereum, also on my list of coins hold: Cardano and XLM. Since I believe that these coins will develop as platforms for other projects.  And at the moment their price is very good for buying.

I suggest you to visit coinmaketcap and start from BTC and then just check all top 100 coins one by one. There is all info regarding coins with links to their sites and all info you need to know. It is best to you decide in what coin to invest, at the end it is your money.

If (when) some new BTC pump starts, it will affect all altcoins more or less. So it all depends on BTC in the end, but with some proven coins like ETH, LTC, DASH and some others you can not make a mistake. It would be good to check coin price before big pump last year, so you will get some info how some coin reacts compared to BTC pump or dump.

if you have lost a lot maybe you should keep your coins and buy more cheap coins to make an average price as a long investment .
when the price is up, you can sell some coins which you bought them with cheap price. I think this is a good strategy to decrease your loss at this time.

I'll doubt if we can perfectly answer your question since we are having different perceptions in the market today. Meanwhile, its gonna be the best option is to look over coinmarketcap  and find good coins out there. A lot of potential coins and it is really spending time to catch them in perfection.

I think at this moment lots of people are showing their interest to buy major coins like ETH, BTC, NEO. Because they are very cheap now compared to the price last year. Also those are already established coins in the market.

I hold some masternode coin, I can say the price go up and down for a very large space, you have to be strong to decide not to sell on those situation.

My reason of holding masternode coins is simple, if the price wont raise, I still can see the number of coin raising via rewards.

Beside, I hold Priv, a privacy airdrop coin, I think it can be next Deep Onion of this year and maybe more success as Privcy team can get the experience and improvement from Deep Onion.

If you hodl some coins from top 100 or even 200 of the coinmarketcap then it doesn't really matter what exactly the coins are. Because when the market begin to grow again like crazy as we saw it in the end of 2017, then whatever you invested in will be x30-x100 in value)) For sure top 10 coins have higher probability of such a growth.

I think Bitcoin (https://coincodex.com/crypto/bitcoin/), Ethereum (https://coincodex.com/crypto/ethereum/), and Binance Coin (https://coincodex.com/crypto/binance-coin/) are the best ones to hold during this bear market. ETH took quite a beating due to ICO selloff therefore it's at a great entry point atm.

Well for the meantime people are very favourable to bitcoin, Ethereum, ripple and neo. But since bitcoin is too expensive to afford by people who have a simple life with that exact income for their needs that's why everyone are also preferable to Ethereum and any kind of altcoins that offer a good profit. Well we should still keep in mind to invest on those coins who are already established.

The coins to hold right now? i think all coins must be hold right now. But if you mean to buy some coins for holding, I will suggest you to buy some EOS, NEO, and ADA. they are promising and potential. Now, their price are still below the standard rate. So, this is the right time to add your amount to buy some altcoins for holding.

Good strategy of a lot of people here would be having a portfolio of at least BTC, ETH, XRP, NEO or EOS, and then a few altcoins in order to gain a little bit more profit margin on your portfolio of coins.

Ethereum is the right coin to hold this moment. This month is really many unexpectable moments are happen in the market. I am holding ETH, cardano, Ripple, and Bitcoin diamond. I believe that those are good of several coins in the crypto. I have been holding them for about 8 months, but it shows no significant progress or growth in the market. I am wondering losing my investment if the market always downs. I try to always be positive about the market even though it to hard for me. More over I am new users of bitcoin.

People will have various answers because they usually have their own reasons why holding the particular coins but currently i'm holding ETH, bitcoin and several altcoins but to says my portfolio good it is too early because the price from all of them still not increasing yet and automatically my current asset value also still not increase too but i still have more patience to wait and see which coins from my portfolio will able to provide good profit

It does not matter what kind of coins your portfolio consists of. Absolutely all the coins fell heavily. Exclusion of USDT, but this is not a coin.
I think now hold all the coins. The situation on the market is not the best to sell your coins now.

it does not seem to be evident now it is worth holding Ethereum and Cardano, in addition, Bitcoin now also good investment,  because price  will begin to rise.

You Can invest in Stellar Lumens because it is cheap than EOS and eos is expensive also so I think 1st one is better to hold at this moment.

im currently holding around 15 different alts but all are 90% down from ATH. so not much difference. all alts are down. so this time its important to HOLD solid coins with more popularity. it will help you to get big gains in next bull run

I'm currently holding nothing but I was holding eth, neo, xmr and bitcoins but sold it few months ago but now trying to get back into the market. I'd say currently pick your favorite coins as most of them are very cheap and hold for long term as market won't go down anymore so there is very less chances that you will loose your money.

According to what is obtainable in the crypto-market now there are some very important coins that need much attentions which are as follows: Ethereum, NEO, EOS and Monero. Am a good fans of the aforementioned coins above and they are good ones. Currently am holding much of these coins in order to maximize profits.

Majority of the coins I invested are also down at the moment but I am still holding like syscoin. I know they are quality coins and they'll recover from this market crash.

When I read all the contents about those who hold bites in the altcoin,there could make a decision that might be able to judge what most altcoins they were using but myself prefer hodl to 6-10 big ranks on coinmarketcap,XLM,LTC,ADA.

People telling you what coin they are holding will not solve your anxiety. In trading, everyone is alone. You can be together before the trade and share each others plans. I would not rely on other people Holding Bags . Better study yourself and if you feel confortable then buy it . Why would you go left if everybody goes left ? Go right :) Same applies to Market when everybody panic sells then its time to buy . Atleast history proved it so far

I think or maybe I am sure  that there are 2 categories of alt coins at this moment: first one coins of promising project which appeared recently,  (from my portfolio: HBZ/ XYO/ Abyss/ ) second category - coins which droped on Jan 2018 and it is really unprofitable to sell them (from my portfolio: XRT /OPT/ BNB/ NAS)

I think most people trust the top ten coins of the cryptocurrency which have a very low price at this moment. I think when the crypto market increased the price, it's will give us a big profit at this end of the year.

I believe anyone that is holding their coins right from since Jan this year, will tell you that they have lost almost 70% or more of their portfolio, the bear market affect all the coins in the market so no coins is safe except if you are holding on stable coin. but currently, I am still holding, telcoin, credits, eth, hav, open, bee, ctv, bnb, icx, sia, and lot's more.

The answer is ... none. Most people are not holding and that´s why the market is much below what should be taking into account all the successful ICOs last year.

Ofcourse BITCOIN. i hold it for very long time and wait for the right time. i set my goal and when price reach on that position then i will sell it.

I consider bitcoin as a long time investment. long time investment means i  will hold it until i feel this is the time for sell the coin.

I'm currently holding Bitcoin and buying some of it from time to time, LTC, I've been holding it for a year now and considering that the price when I bought it was around $50 I'm still not losing anything, even though it has dropped by 6 times since December 2017. I also have several ETH and some ERC20 tokens as well, they're pretty shitty mostly, but selling them won't give me much profit, so I'll hold anyway. I've recently purchased some XRP, as the price is very attractive now for a cryptocurrency with such a potential and number 3 by coinmarketcap. I'm currently thinking about purchasing Cardano and Tezos by the end of summer. I choose coins mostly on the basis of marketcap, technological advantages, team and main investors/sponsors/partnerships.

I think, at this moment, stable coins should behold. I currently hold these coins in BTC, ETH, WAVES, DCT. I hope that these coins will benefit me and these will grow soon.

Obviously bitcoin is most favorite coin to hodl for many people. Still there are some great altcoins and they have chance to be profitable. I thik Zcash, Dash, etc can be some good coins.

Though Ethereum is having a very bad time. The price is very low now. But i think it is the time for entering the market. And i have some hope for Ethereum. I think it will recover the loss it has faced.

I guess by the weakening of the market and the declining prices of btc and the eth is sure a lot of people are now looking for and invest the btc and the eth than invest coins ico. all it proved to many that ico underfunded even jammed on their sales of ico.

I think ripple can be profitable in this year. It has attracted a huge amount of people. And many large financial institutions are using ripple. So it makes Ripple one of the most promising coins.

I think most of the investors are holding their downward coin as well as upward. As a investor I am holding Bitcoin right now. So, whoever keeps which coin its totally depend on his choice.

Honestly speaking, this bearish market now is hard to bear for me. I also lost a lot like you and i am converting all my coins into ether. I am a fan of ether but the way ether is looking right now, not good. Still i am taking my with it and hopeful that it gonna surge this year end just like last year.

My portfolio is very simple, 100% is in bitcoin, why I choose my portfolio to be only in bitcoin? Because it is the only coin I am completely sure it is going to be here no matter what, when it comes to every other coin not named bitcoin I am not sure since even some of the most popular coins have glaring problems that I do not think will allow them to survive for long.

Probably, most of the tokens are being held at this moment including bounty rewards despite of having low market value due to the continuous downtrend. The fact that the bitcoin dominance has been going up it is a signal that people are dropping their alts at an alarming rate, they are doing this because they do not feel comfortable with the future of many alts and unfortunately the more they sell the more true their own prediction becomes, so it is possible that in the next year the amount of coins that will disappear will be very high.

I believe in BTC and ETH, also on my list of coins hold: Ripple and LTC, since I believe that these coins will develop. Everyone has their favorite a few coins that they believe in.

I think that people are hodling their favorite coins at the moment, and most importantly, coins that they still have some belief and confidence in. A lot of people are worried and are panicking because of the market trends, and as such are selling off most of their coins. There are few who still have faith in the system, and are still hodling. Most of the major coins that \i think people are still hodling are BTC, and ETH.

My bag is usual fiat with USDT/BTC pair but I think I should try to hodl ETH as many as possible. I think $200 for 1 ETH is very cheap and this is the lowest dip.

I bought when Private Sale with 25 Ethereum Because with ICO maybe I would get a profit after listing on the Exchange.

I now keep only NEO and a lot of useless coins bought very cheaply in the hope that they will grow. I chose one altcon and decided to invest in it, I'll invest in NEO's money as soon as will appear spare money for investment. And if my new coins will ever start to grow I would be a millionaire.

If you holding and you are losing, that means you are not doing something right! The first thing you need to do is to re-strategize and think of coin that suit your skill level and you objectives! Sell your coin and buy bitcoin why you assess your goal!

Good option to keep multiple assets and periodically re-balance your portfolio. This should be done regularly, otherwise it is a road to nowhere.

Personally, for this bearish periid I keep ~80% of my investments in BTC and ETH.

Well I guess this the right time to invest in crypto and holding is the safest option now as market has been bombarded. No one want to lose their hard earnings, as far as I concern hodl is safest thing now.

I believe to the potential of every coin and have some investment on it too. I am waiting for the price to come up again and gain profit just like what other investors that hoping. Since the price sometimes stable and when time comes that the price is higher than when I invested, I sell them and buy again later.

I have decided to just hold first 10 coins on the coinmarketcap , especially Stellar coz it has been partnered with IBM also XRP , ripple is a centralized coin but people want to make money they don't care really if some coin is centralized or not!
After all almost all of their prices depends on bitcoin and we cant ignore it that bitcoin price effects on the market .

I think since January lost all my respect for those who have not sold yourself in the negative and kept the coins on. I don't suggest investing in altcoins, you have to understand where the market will go next, so first invest in bitcoin and then have to watch the market. Those who simply holds coins like me, we just wait until the market recovers and then we will see what to do next.

If I share which coin I prefer to hold it is none other than bitcoin I only believe in holding bitcoin. But in the coin market, a lot of coins are there you may choose one of them but a number of people love to hold STELLA, EOS, CARDANO so on. But it depends on you what coin do you like to hold.

I really don't wanna talk about basic coins such as Ethereum or Cardano or VeChain because all of us know these so I wanna talk more specific coins like INS or SwissBorg. I think that both of them have pretty advantage aaccording to other coins. You can check.

maybe everyone will hold a different coin because now there are so many coins that have experienced a very drastic price reduction, and that is an opportunity for holders to buy coins and then hold the coin in the long run, but in my opinion it's a bit risky because of the market situation which is very unstable and uncertain, so we find it difficult to predict what will happen to the coin that has been held.
