With the number of scam and/or unsuccessful ICOs, do you still recommend investing in one or two? Why should or shouldn't I?

At the moment it will be unwise to invest in ICO, given that the market is bearish now. Wait for the bull run and then invest in the ICO.

it has never been a good idea to invest in any ICO but unfortunately because they were like lottery and people could win a lot of money in these things, they stuck to them and they are still throwing their money away by participating in ICOs.

the only thing different now is that altcoin market as a whole is in a dumping mode so price of everything is going down and also people trust ICOs less than before since they have been burnt enough times.

I think it depends on how the individual will be benefiting from ICO. If the individual is investing and making payment using his/her money, I would say it is not advisable to invest for now. On the contrary, if he/she only gets involves in ICO campaign which has to do with investment of only time and strength, I would say the individual can take the risk to participate in a reliable ICO, If it succeeds eventually, he/she would smile at the end.

Now a days ICO’s are going to rage. About 80% of ICO’s are scam. So it’s very important to choose a right ICO to participate in which your successful investment depends on. It’s better to join in your own thinking and idea.

I'd say it would be wiser to wait in any sharply moving market. Crypto are having a sharp rise in last 24 hours and it might just be more beneficial to hold bitcoin and alts than investing them on ICO's just now. It is really very wrong idea of investing in ICO today as it is seen that only 1 out of 10 ICO is getting good price listed and 50% of them are even not getting listed and which ever is getting listed their price is very bad. So if you see any project is good then it is better that you can wait until it is not got listed in exchange and first check few days trading and then start investing as per your idea. This is the best way of trading in new projects without getting scammed.

It is better to wait till the token hit the exchange hence we don't get the risk to be scammed. But that isn't the end, we need to update ourselves with the recent news from the team and if we found something wrong, we should sell our token asap.

If you have done your research and think that everything is correct, then why not? In the end it's all about examining the team and trusting them. One thing I notice is that some managers have distinguished themselves in managing successful campaigns. So start your study from the manager of the project. Look at what the ICO want the funds for. Then, the executives of the project, are they on social media? What is there pedigree?

There are lots of promising ICO projects and some of them are really good and world-changing.ICOs have the potential to create a lot of wealth quickly for people.
But be careful about what ICOs you choose to invest in and never invest more than you can afford to lose there have been countless scams run through ICOs and thousands of people have lost their money.

Not entirely a bad idea if you ask me. Quite a risky one yeah, but some of these ICOs are still very profitable, and it is only wise that you look out for these ones and invest in them. ICOs used to be really profitable and have not stopped being that, just that one cannot be too certain these days cos of the scams and shitty projects that we have littered around the place.

If I am an investor, I prefer to stay away from it for now. I will invest on top and established coins like Ethereum and Ripple. I think those two are the hot coins for the month of September. Ethereum has shown that it can recover from the slumps. It is below $200 USD few weeks ago but it recovered. It is possible that it will go up $300 USD my the end of the month.

You need to understand that investing in  ICO  is a long term investment. Especially this time some ICO project are started at bear market so dump of price are expected once they are entered in the market. But if you truly believe,  that the project  will succeed just hold and wait for the market to recover. Do your own research first before invest to avoid scam ICO. Not all ICO's are scam some are Good and Legit.

there is an ico that is a scam doesn't mean there is no legit ico. there are still legit ico that can be followed. we must really understand ico which will be followed well because it will relate to the results that we will get.

Yes, it's still but depends on your choice. The reason I say good because last year was the best. 2017 was the year where all the hype is on the maximum limit. Anybody did not care what ICO they chose, they just know that it will still be profitable in the end. But things change lately and now you really need to pick an exceptional ICO to get best results.
