What will happen to this market within a year...? Investing on BTC was great on last few years. But if we invest on these days for a 1 year, will it gives a good profit or not?

Potentially yes it might. Bitcoins value grows year on year and the lowest value every year
seems to be higher than the year before for the last 3 years. But its an unpredictable market
and anything can happen.

Why 1 year, why not 10?

it still depends on the trend of bitcoin. You can even earn huge profit without having to wait for 1 year if bitcoin totally pumped up by the end of this year. For me, I am still observing on the price of bitcoin, I am going to see first if it will pump in the Christmas season just like what happened last year then boom, easy profit.

If you're planning for a long term investment, then you will not be disappointed, trust me! Actually market is a place for all those who are ready to show some patience and act smartly. The price drops n upsurges are normal part of the market and you can't really escape them. In fact these price fluctuations are the reason that enable you to make good profits especially for the day traders. After all stability can't get you any returns. Nobody knows future. Indeed last year bitcoin good but we can't predict what will happen to bitcoin tomorrow. If you want invest long term, think well. Don't be sorry if your predict is wrong :). Keep learning and trying. :D

From here on market is good and if you are looking for a horizon of atleast a year then buying at this price is like a  cheap price and you cannot miss this . If you want to make money and become rich than you have a opportunity now to do it.

No one can really tell or predict the future of bitcoin's value. Even experts can predict the future values of bitcoin. That's the best thing about being in a volatile market. We may find it hard to comprehend its fluctuations but the possibility of its value to skyrocket is there. There's no assurance that you will profit if you invest now and wait for a year. The best thing to do is just go with the flow and always invest an amount that you can afford to lose.

Looking at the current price and spearheading it to a the price of december 2017 then definitely is a good move and will fetch a good profit. As for me i always make sure to see a very good window of opprtunity for bitcon price then i amke my investment. And all this lands on the fluctuation and volatility of it but hopefully for and investment of bitcoin for year won't be bad and yield some profits.

Personally I think that if you invest in Bitcoin right now, 1 year will not be enough to get good profit for 1 year holding. Because Bitcoin will crash under 2K$ by the end of spring of the next year. IMHO it is better to try to open short positions through margin trading and earn money from it. Only in the middle of the next year you can try to invest in Bitcoin for long. And of course it will be better for you to hold it for long period of time only after this situation.

Currently the time seems right to invest. Bitcoin is at a very low level and it seems it is holding this level and the current trend points to a potential bull run in next 1 to 2 years. We will see btc at a new all time high.

To get some kind of idea of what happened to Bitcoin in the past, you will have to look at the price history prior to 2017,

because there were a period of 3 years where there were almost no growth at all. I hope we are not going to see a repeat of

that, because we will stay between $6000 to $7000 for a long time, if that is true. Let's hope the Lightning Network will push

us back to $20,000 soon.  ;D

We never know in which direction the price is going to go, the market always follows a cycle by being bearish or bullish and always will tend to break few support and resistance levels always.So it is very much possible that market may fall or drop due to various reasons.So prediction at this juncture will not confirm the future trend and also we never know any geo political news can affect the market always.

Technical yes ,investing in Bitcoin is good idea , because is the future of currency is digital currency which is revolution cutting across all areas of the financial industry. I strongly believe that Bitcoin ETF will be approve by the Congress meeting coming up in 30th of september. Hence investing now is the right time because Bitcoin is all ready in the dip.

It is not possible to say anything definitive yet. The time frame is just too small. It took over 2 years for bitcoin to fully recover after the mt.gox downfall. Now there is another downfall which has different causes but it is still a downfall under whatever name. In other words, in one year's timespan we may still be sliding down or trending sideways. We are just 3 months short of the December crash last year, and there might still be a lot of pain ahead till we see the light again.

If you buy 1 BTC now you will have 1 BTC in a year. I guess you are wanting to use it as a store of value, or a an investment like Gold/Silver. If that's the case no one knows, unless there are any more of those time travelers around here.

The problem here is that if all anyone does is buy and then HODL BTC, where will the market growth and adoption come from. I'm not saying you shouldn't save some away but if you are truly interested in growing the value, you should store some, and use the rest as a currency for items you need. This increases adoption, transactions and proves that BTC works. Then if enough people adopt this strategy the value may continue to increase.

I think it's actually a lot bigger profitable thinking.  If you can do this then you will also get really good profits without any doubt. Even though Bitcoin is bad at present, everyone still believes that bitcoin conditions will change very soon for all of us.. In this hope, all Bitcoin holders and bitcoin investor are waiting. There are many people who do not have the power to buy a bitcoin at once, I am none of them outside of me or I am also one of them. I also like to be a bit of a bitcoin's owner through an inventory in a slow process. Most of the btc  veteran investors were mhch favorable of  long term investment as they were able to gain sufficient profit since the start of their investment until at this present situation. I believe this is still the best option for now and perhaps you should consider long term investment.

We can't predict the future of bitcoin but as they  always say that we can't be succeed and we can't try it.Every investment is risky but if you want to try invest in bitcoin then go for it because I believed that bitcoin price will grow more for the coming years.

It depends on when you buy. If you buy at the beginning of 2017 then until the market down you still have a lot of interest, but if you buy at the end of 2017 so far you have lost a lot of property. So consider risk and invest as much as you can

it depends on the market if you see the market is good to sell already then it will never reach a year frame. But if you invest like early this year you really need to wait until the price hits a good value again.

We have pointed out that the cryptocurrency boom has been about as obvious a speculative mania as markets have ever seen. We have noted over and over that a private crypto can’t ever be money for the simple reason that governments won’t allow it to be — this crash may have been triggered by talk of banning bitcoin.

I think bitcoin is not suitable for long-term investment, because the price changes that occur are quite fast, investing in a long time will only throw away the golden opportunity.

Maybe better to make investment at bitcoin is right now, never waiting at the end of years for investment because have higher price always. Look at last years ago when bitcoin at higher price and then bitcoin is drop when early years.

Well it's quite hard to do day trades especially if you're not really skilled to do it. One year of just keeping your bitcoins, if you can afford to do so, may be the safest way in crypto to make big money.

If you see the history of BTC you can see that the last year alone made so many people rich. It was about 19 times higher than the lowest price of the year but if you look along the previous years you may find that the early years of BTC made a good struggle to reach the level it is at now. So the bearish trend it is going through now may be a longer one as the history depicts. We might not know when the bullish run begins but as soon as it does the ATH will be much higher than the one it had been.

1 year is your maximum time spent on investing in Bitcoin? Now if you start investing and September 2019 is the deadline. I'm not sure you get the profit, even more risk because the market is still in downtrend. But if it is 2-3 years, it will be better for you to make a profit

It depends on the market condition and when you enters into the market if you entered in the market at Jan 2018 and want to cashout at Dec 2018 then it is really bad for you,or if you entered in Jan 2017 and cashed out in Dec 2017 then you made really good profits so it is highly unpredictable more more than two years will be definitely good to invest in my opinion.

There so many things that could happen within a year dude, bloodbaths, skyrockets and even stagnant events. It's very hard to predict since there is no pattern at all, relevance of this year's situation to last year's cannot be considered a pattern too because it might only be a coincidence. So my answer for your question is unpredictable, the only we can do is wait until it happens and cope with it.
Who knows? What happened last year was a kind of a roller coaster ride. China bans ICO then btc drops so hard reaching $4.3k+ , then recovered slowly 'til it skyrockets during last couple of months. See? Btc still manage to rise despite of the hardest times, what more in our current market where small dips only occured :)?  I'm not saying that btc's good fortune was already secured this year but I believe that it never fails to surprise us. Just patiently wait.

Everyone and his grandma is wise after event and in hindsight. I can say that people who had bought in the summer of 2015 (closer to August) reaped insane profits if they were off-the-chart lucky to sell in December, 2017. And what does it tell us from a practical view-point? Essentially nothing. Some people can be extremely lucky, some devastatingly unlucky. And that's pretty much all.

Right now, the whole cryptomarket goes down, and we don't know for how long it is headed south, so it is better stay away from it until the fundamentals fundamentally change (pardon the pun).

It is good to invest now into bitcoin. If you can hold it for one year, I believe you can get a 300% profit. Even holding for a half year can bring 200% profit for you.

No one can really tell you what the bitcoin price will be in one year, no one has a crystal ball that tells the future, everyone here who tells you to do it or don't do it are doing it via just their assumptions.

I however will tell you another approach, why not instead of investing on bitcoin for 1 year, you try to invest into multiple sources, I do not know how much money you have but considering it should be something decent in order for even making it an "investment" than you can divide it.

Buy some big company stocks like apple or berkshire hathaway or even some banks or insurance companies. After you got some of them buy some index funds for safety, than buy something like gold or whatever for traditional investment and than get bitcoin with the rest of it. If you divide your investment into multiple sources of income than you will have safety net. If bitcoin goes x10? great. If it goes down? Too bad but you are still fine.

For me investing now is better done, but I did it for a few days for several months not for a year, because prices are decreasing, in my opinion this is the right time to invest, I hope that in the next 4 months prices will increase.

I deem that there is a big possibility make money, but i can't rule out the possibility of losing money. If time can be extended to five years, i dare say that there must be profit, and the profit will not be less.

Bitcoin is one of the best coin in the market and can grow in the future. But we don't hold the fortune of this crypto. And noone know what will be its value after one year.

There are a lot of cryptocurrency analyst who are expecting for the price of bitcoins to reach $50k dollars before the end of the year and it was possible because there are a lot of new country who are legalized to invest on cryptocurrency.

It is important how much you deposit for a year. you do not have to think if you invested a low number. ignore If you made a high deposit, you might be hurting at the moment.

Many people will believe it is a good investment for a year but you should make your own decision. Don't rely on the figures of previous years, it was the past.

One year seems a good waiting period but if you are able to extend it for another one more year then there will be plenty of chance to get your capital doubled. I am talking about the very least possibilities. Like many people here, I am also expecting a new ATH before end of this year. If that will be happening then you may not need to wait even for 6 months compared your concern of one year waiting.

I guess for both big and small investors, the current market situations are really a frustrating one as potential losses are always a big concern for any level of investors. But buying now at current price levels and waiting for one year will definitely make anyone richer as we all expect a new ATH by end of this year or at worst case a new ATH may happen by first quarter of 2019.

For one year I would say yes if you have spare money, which you may lose in the case. However, in one year, if you will buy put on a physical wallet and forget about it for 1 year, then in my opinion that could be a winner.

You can earn money if you investing today and hold it for 1 years possible to double upto times 5 I think your money. 1 year for me is maybe short term and long term . Well it depends if the person believes it's possible. You have to be really careful in choosing a coin to hold for a year. Imo, bitcoin and probably the top 10 alts in the market will have significant growth in value in thay time.

It doesn't matter whether it is good or bad. The first question is whether you can afford to lose the money you have invested. Is $6,000 a bid deal for you? If it is, you might not have the stomach to live through the ups and downs. You might be tempted to cut your losses when your investment drops by 50%. You might not be able to hold for the long term.

People can always scale down to an amount of which they don't mind losing in case their investment blanks out. People's problem is their greed and high expectations, which works against them, especially in a bear market.

Investing in bitcoin is always good and should not be question . its up to you whether you invest for 1 whole year or longer but i suggest go for long years (e.g 5 to 10 years ) because that is the only way to earn huge income as we all know that bitcoin can potentially pump when given an adequate time.

The question is why do you want to hold BTC for that long? Are you expecting your money to triple in value by that time? Remember BTC is not like a stock of a company that has the potential to grow as the company increase their profit, BTC don't have that kind of fundamental reference therefore it does not matter on how long you hold BTC as there is no assurance that it will have a stable growth like a stock of a company. If you are ready to take the risk of holding for a long time it will be good. Because you can easily accept whatever may happen in bitcoin within one year. If bitcoin soar high you will get a high reward.

I think it will be a good strategy knowing that Bitcoin for a long run is having a price increase and downtrends as what we currently experience do always happen. It would generate profit because there are period on every year wherein the market value is rising and periods during the recovery or increase. This have been proven from the previous years.

Is it good or not it all depends on the time when you buy, and when do you sell?... In my opinion investing in BTC for one year will give you good profits. In essence you have to buy when the BTC price's low and sell when the BTC price's high that's all.

How come that it doesn't matter whether it is good or bad profit? And what is bad profit, a loss? Anyway, if you invest only what you can afford to lose, you will not be satisfied with the profits. It doesn't mean that you should invest all your life savings, you shouldn't do that, but if you are not willing to risk, then it is not worth investing at all as your profits will be laughable. For example, if you were a multimillionaire, investing a few thousand dollars would be worth neither profits you could reap nor the time you would spend on making these investments.

Actually, it is not about how much you are willing to invest. It is more about the knowledge you possess about the asset you are going to put your money into. In other words, if you know nothing about this asset, you'd better not invest anything in it, whether you can afford to lose your investment or not.

i would say absolutely yes, bitcoin are more profitable to invest with long term holding. the price has big potential to rise within a year. this is what i have done with tha major of my portofolio, long term investment are always be my first option to invest in bitcoin. especially, current market situation are inhospitable for every crypto enthusiast to do short term or daily trading to make profit.

Anyway, if you invest and you set the time in your investment, then you don't seem to be ready for long term investing, because we won't know what will happen to our investment after a year, whether it will go up or down. If the investment decreases, then you will be ready to wait longer until you recover or you will suddenly sell when it crashes. It must be considered before you start, because everything has its own risks and you must understand it first.

That's not the point. To tell the truth, I pretty much like Warren Buffett's approach myself. He says not to invest in many assets and people often criticize him without really understanding what he tries to say. Well, he says it in the clear but people still fail to understand his message. He says not to invest in too many assets, and many is anything greater than a triple. Easy, huh? His idea revolves around clever investing (its called value investment, but that's a misnomer) where you invest only in an asset which you fully understand. And it is not just about some technical aspects like understanding the blockchain, though it certainly won't hurt. It is also about understanding the environment and the landscape where the asset of your choice exists, and how they develop with time. How many of us really understand the way speculative markets work where Bitcoin truly belongs?

Apart from that, long-term investing makes perfect sense with stocks (which is what Warren Buffett is doing) where you can pretty much live off dividends. But which dividends does long-term holding pay? Right, you can sell your coins, but if you want to say that selling a fraction of your stash for a profit would count as that (dividends), I can't agree with you as you are losing your profit generating capital.

It is difficult for me to see the cryptocurrency worth saving this year. Even Bitcoin, I think it is not suitable for long-term holding. I hope that you will consider the risk point before investing!
