Searching the web, looking for bitcoin news, I found an interesting infographic that shows "Which country trades the most bitcoin".
The first 3 countries were predictable, but Venezuela? I would never guess.

I'm sure the most traded country is China. After the ban was issued in September last year, many exchanges dealing with Chinese customers moved to other countries, but the customers were still Chinese. China also dominated the mining business. More than 70% of Bitcoins were mined in China.

Besides, that's data only for lcoabitcoins, most people in the EU and US don't use local bitcoins but exchanges...to which Venezuelans have no access.

well China didn't ban bitcoin trading, they banned their exchanges from working. that indeed damaged the volume that was going in bitcoin but it  didn't stop it. those who wanted to buy bitcoin has been doing it elsewhere on different exchanges which doesn't show up on stats like this.

I think the biggest market for bitcoin is China, because hearing the news that prices cannot rise to the month is the Chinese market that dominates the world market. But unexpectedly the biggest transaction is in the United States. wkwkwk

I'm glad that bitcoin is still traded and is worth 1.44 billion in the number 1 country in the world USA. Although the legal standpoint of it became strict and the country became strict.

I think China and the US will be the two most traded nations. And I was really surprised when China was ranked fifth.

You cannot use one data source and extrapolate an assumption that it is giving the total volume of all trades that are done in

these countries. A lot of these countries might have less "legit" exchanges and then they turn to sites like Localbitcoin to do

these trades. The picture will look a lot different, if you can add the trade volume from regulated exchanges and even some

of the trading being done on the decentralized exchanges.  ::)

One of the country I think would be the US that would greatly be making the market of cryptos and bitcoin. It must be noted that this country will develop the whole improvement of this blockchain and most definitely they would be the ones introducing and making a profit on such.

as far as I know, China is trading the most bitcoin, and even then before there is a prohibition rule there. on the one hand I conclude that bitcoin is still a trade. that means bitcoin is still popular all the time.

Venezuela has one of the lowest electricity prices so that may be a reason they trade so much Bitcoin right now. Mining BTC there costs about 3000$ whereas in EU it costs over 6k.

China has too many advantages to become the country with the most Bitcoin deals. This is a populous country, with many successful people here, such as Shanghai City, many of the projects are developed here, there are lots of works and great machines that help the transaction. Bitcoin is easy. And there are many other minor factors.

I think this graphic is not actual. China is definately in top 3, definately befor Venezuela. It's the biggest economy in the world, even bigger than the US in my opinion and mine the most Bitcoin.

There are some legal issues going on in some major countries and hence the volume of Bitcoin trade is lower as compared to the potential of those countries considering the number of Bitcoin users. I believe that China, US and India will e in the top three within next 5 years and current data is not scientifically accurate due to the pending legal issues.

Hahahahaaaahaaaa! Funny question. I guess its going to be United States of America or probably Venezuela. For the mining of bitcoins too, I know the Asians on top; the Chinese especially are doing so much work. That is my suggestion, I may be wrong anyway.

China is the country that had more investor holding bitcoins until it banned in the country but now I think USA and other Europe countries like Switzerland or France have more interest in bitcoins now than ever.

Really nice picture and very interesting. I guess for Venezuela this is due to the trouble with their economy and money. As people could not trust their government and their own fiat they invest in btc with is potentially less dangerous for their economy. Also have their own crypto in the country have better highlight on crypto and more people know that it exist and be more accessible.

When i read the Subject of the topic, the first thing i got in mind was "China for sure", but i was terribly wrong, and after see the image i was shocked to see china in 4th place. But after think about it, things have sense, The main economic countries should have the bigger volume, and i think i have a explanation for Venezuela on that list, lets remember Venezuela launch the petro coin some months before, and the gob is behind that coin, so, it have sense to see Venezuela there if they want to backup their coin.

From what I know the majority of bitcoin on this planet is mined in China.  But if the government sets certain restrictions and limitations then also readings becomes more difficult.  Peer to peer analysis would not show up on such a report anyway, and there is probably the answer.

Some pretty impressive numbers there especially considering those billions with a "B"!! and plenty of countries above 50 million. This is especially impressive since this only represents one of the many entities that people use to cash out and trade bitcoin. These Infographics are very useful, I'm amazed that the Philippines are at the 30th spot, I thought there's only a handful of Filipinos have jumped into bitcoin and altcoins. The USA spots are nothing to be surprised and Russia they two of the most powerful and lively economy on the globe.

I am somehow and somewhat caught up to this and got interested to which are the countries that trades the most with Bitcoin. Well I was so glad to read this topic with the different answers. I have seen that the country I belong was in the number 30 in the list of the countries that trades most Bitcoin. IT would be Venezuela, your are right there. When they are financially unstabe , they choose bitcoin as their safe haven. I think this country just give freedom to their people to stabilised their own way of living, when the  government could not be able to help their people. If bitcoin is the key of their country ‘s suffering from their poor economy then the government just not thinking of their own interest but to their people

Thank you for the information, from this picture, we can see that US and EU is dominating the bitcoin market, i think its very make a sense since the regulation of bitcoin in those country is very free.

What surprised me though is countries like Japan (44th) and South Korea is not on the list. I'm pretty sure that they are amongst the top 10. As for those seeing Philippines in the 30th spot, why are you surprised, the government allowed crypto and blockchain company to operate in Cagayan.

The listing looks okay to me but they have ignored some small details like exchanges are banned in China which is why the correct volume of BTC being traded there cannot be determined. I think getting an exact data is not possible because of anonymity in transactions. But It might be possible that jaoan and america has highest number of crypto trader because crypto is legalize in these two countries.

Based on alexa rank of some famous website like poloniex, bittrex, cex, top country trade the most bitcoin are United States 16.2%, Russia 10.5%, Japan 7.5%,  India 5.8%

This is not accurate because every now and then it changes depending on the demands. Top countries that consistently trade Bitcoin are usually US, China, Korea and Japan. Others are just climb on ranking but cannot sustain the it.

Many Countries are trading cryptocurrency I think it's in google try to find the most widely recorded by most traders trading on bitcoin or altcoins.

Based on my research the most standing country is Malta which is based on cryptocurrency trading volume by legal location of exchange.Malta is an emerging crypto and BTC friendly country. It is a small country in southern Europe which has been a gambling paradise and a very welcoming country for the gambling businesses and no. 1 user today.

The reason why they ain't on the radar and their stats don't count is because their government banned the trading of bitcoin in their economy which that I feel is detrimental to the rise nd awareness of bitcoin in the world.
