What do you expect to happen in 100 years?

That's actually really interesting idk what there will be but i hope at least earth will be in same condition if not better cuz this wars and conflicts... gosh... how they don't get tired of this shit jez...

World in 100 years. Interesting. I guess most of routine and simple jobs would be transefered to robots and II. Small countries will combine making dominions. People hand work will be underestimated. Flying cars? Maybe but only for 1% people as it d be very expensive. Solar technologies will be everywhere.

the world will still be around and also knowledge will have exploded at that time. Things we knew they could never happen would be happening. Will be interesting though

If we don't have a plan B I honestly don't think we'll still be around in 100 years. I think most people will be living in digital realms made possible through AI and immersive technology, and resources will be largely obsolete out of force and logic.

I only know that , Bitcoin will be on 100000$...........

The world won't last 100 more years. Why not? The big bankers will destroy it, because they don't want crypto to rule. If they can't have it, nobody can.

The earth will always exist, as we don't have the ability to accidentally destroy it.  All we can do is destroy the environment temporarily, but long enough to kill us off.

Colonising other planets is going to be a must, most likely Elon Musk will have already formed a company that can transport people to other planets and back

We are going back to stone age at the rate that people are abusing mother earth.

I never asked this question, and do not want to think about it. I won't be here by that time, so I need to think about the near future.

If virtual immortality researchers are to be believed, then within the next 100 years there would already be people totally living in the virtual world, with their consciousness uploaded digitally, granting people immortality.
If transhumanists are to be believed, then people would be some kind of combination of robot and human, like a superhuman.
Others are relying on us being able to make it to Mars or some other planet where humans could possibly move in case Earth can no longer handle us and we totally ruin it.

An interesting question, I would like to see the world in 100 years or more. I think that the world will change so much that practically it will not look like our world. New technologies, artificial intelligence will be everywhere where possible, at work robots. Mars is colonized, and so on.

I understand that in 100 years the world of technology, artificial intelligence and robots will be waiting for us, but I would not want our world to become so soulless.

With the modern weaponry around, and with all the animosity between countries, the world won't be around for another 100 years. But if it is, we will be back to primitive, cave living.

Flying cars? I think this is too much! But at the same time, I would like to see something like this) I think we'll be able to travel in space, and it is very cool!

I think the problem is in humanity. We have political interests, differences etc. This is why I think there will still be wars and violence. Unless, human gets educated enough to try and live in peace it won't stop.

The world will change drastically, 100 years from now.

P.S. As for flying cars - how`re going to organize traffic? Even common planes crush into each other sometimes, I imagine the damage of a flying car accident.

All of this, plus hopefully scientists discovering how to treat incurable diseases. It wouldn't also hurt if they could finally find a way to upload our consciousness into the virtual world. If scientists can find a way to upload knowledge into our brains, for example, then it won't be surprising if they eventually figure out how to transfer our mind's content and consciousness into a the computer simulation.

In the last 10-15 years technology has developed so fast and to such upgrades that nobody ever thought we will reach.
I strongly believe that in 100 years, we will have changes such:
- sonic speed transportation (controlled by bots)
- human electronic organs that will transform humans in half (bot/human)
- bots workers, no more humans required as workforce
- all kind of digital possibilities (from brain to brain talk to intimate relations with robots)
..and so much more.

Interesting times lie ahead... We could be really far in 100 years or somewhere on our way there something collapses and we're out of resources and back to the basics... Who knows, maybe we even get a chance to see that.

Well everyone will be in their bed controlling their robot to go to work or go to shopping, while on the other side poor people will be on their robots controlling against corrupt governtment.

That will be a great innovation. I would be more than glad to stay in bed and send my robot to work :D. I hope I can see this happening in the near future.

In other side of the story robots will rage against the mortals and destroy the whole city. It's just like this movie that i can't remember. haha

Once I hear about 100 years ahead, I start thinking of global warming and stuff. Well, I am not real sure we will be still alive yet I do not hv a negative answer. And this is great, as we are moving ahead together with technologies.

I guess it will be just the some, but a plenty of technologies and robots. 

It seems to me that human civilization will come to decline. It will return to the Middle Ages. I have such a bad feeling.

We will have sussed nuclear fusion. This is likely by 2045-2050 and almost certain by 2100. It's widely predicted that we will achieve this. What difference it makes will depend on what other energy technologies we have. We might also see a growth in shale gas or massive solar energy facilities. I don't think that wind power will be around

I really want scientists to invent teleportation.

I actually find it very hard to predict due to a high tempo that we live in.
If to pick a sci-fi path, I tend to believe it's gonna be something like Peter Watts' Rifters cycle, with the industrial use of AI and human modification
But there is always a chance that nothing will change dramatically and life will remain all the same, but with fancier and bigger advertising screens  ;)
And for the worst-case scenario - we can destroy ourselves in abuse of technology

1)Firstly the increase in temperature will be higher than expected. Due , due to Global Warming.
2) Polar Ice caps start melting very rapidly.
3) Summers in Greenland could become ice-free by 2050. Finally no ice will be seen even after summers.

With the advancement speed of technology we have now and the vast imagination, I can't really guess but there are two things I want. I hope that we can protect our world and keep living on it, the second thing is to generate energy from fusion.

I will be no longer in this world so I don't think of it anymore.

Most likely this will not happen. If humanity does not stop and does not stop fighting and destroying the planet, then after 100 years only wasteland will remain!

No more world hunger, no more poverty. Advanced genetic manipulation to create less disease-prone populations. Flying cars are definitely possible, and the traffic laws would be interesting  :D

I am not so sure about all the predictions, but we might have a single currency by 2119.

I am not so sure we will still have this earth the way it is in the next 10years without the second coming of Christ. The Christian faith is in expectation of his triumphant return any time soon.

Maybe 100 years from now all of us will surrounded by many technologies and all things can be access my internet. Maybe all sports can be play in online just like what happen in gambling. That's also how I see the future, the short period of democracy has ended, and people who openly criticize the ruling class, will be punished, most of today's stable western countries will be most likely be full of conflict in the future.

These things you are quite expecting, might really happen in the next century. I'm really expecting those flying cars and I hope that there could be, it would be the best way to escape traffic especially when it's bad. In addition to that, escaping the traffic on the road makes you to be on a traffic, in the air.

Colonizing Mars will be so easy since we have the technology to do that. A hundred year might be enough for us to colonize Mars. But, we need to accept that we needed sacrifice for that to complete. We need first people to settle on that planet.

The world in 100 years from will be like in the movies where technology is so very high and robots will be the decendants of humans and most of humans will be in other planets or can live in space. That's funny because 100 years ago, people back then were also thinking of the same thing. But one good thing is that technology has moved faster in the recent years thanks to the internet so it is possible to have such scifi things available then. Or we could have already discovered cures for illnesses such as cancer and aids. Or ww3 and ww4 may have blasted most of us already and we're in the brink of extinction or probably even extinct by then lol.

In 100 year to come human will develop greatly but mostly in the area of technology.  I think blockchain technology will we the currency that we have and fiat will be no more.

After a hundred years, I do not think that much will change. Just add a bunch of innovations that surprise us now. And the rest everything will be the same.

With the pace technology has taken just in the last 2 decades, and with how climate change is growing more and more evident the past few years, 100 years is probably too long for us experience a significant change in a lot of aspects in our lives. The cure for cancer and aids may have been discovered then, or all the polar ice caps may have already melted submerging a lot of major cities under water. Change is going to come quickly for us now compared to the past 100 years.
