Title: How are bounty token distributed Post by: crystalworld on August 29, 2018, 07:08:18 AM Hello guys, it will be my pleasure to learn something very important to me from my senior colleagues that are bounty mangers. I want to know how bounty tokens are being distributed. I did a signature campaign, and I saw $450,000. For that campaign and on the list we are not up to 500 participants. Will that $450,000 be shared among the 500 participants or token worth $450,000 or what? Please give me an explanation, I want to learn. Thanks.
Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: StevenPop on August 31, 2018, 10:08:05 AM It is quite easy. When you are registering for a bounty program, you are expected to fill up a form, with some required details. One of those details include your wallet address. It could be an ERC20 token address or maybe not. A specific amount is usually budgeted for the bounty, and stakes are allocated for each tasks. When you complete a task, your stakes are gathered, and accumulated, and then you are rewarded with it after the whole process, and it the percentage token is sent to your address.
Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: baghdatis1990 on August 31, 2018, 10:22:19 AM Usually when you sign up for a reward campaign, the total amount allocated for that type of campaign is shared among all participants, but if it's a signing campaign, it also takes into account the rank you have on the bitcointalk forum . When you enter the project page where you want to participate, there will be listed for each rank, how many stakes are allotted. The higher your rank, the more you get more money. In conclusion, the total amount allocated to the bounty campaign is not shared by the participants, but other factors are also taken into account. This is very huge money. just reminder, if $ 450,000 reward for signature campaigns this worth a token in the ICO price, so if the price in exchange dump and then your reward will decrase. Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: cryptokingdom on August 31, 2018, 10:44:32 AM The bounty distribution depends on the term and bounty managers decision. Some campaign may state a certain amount for distributing as bounty campaign reward but if you sit down and calculated you will be disappointed at the distribution at the end of the campaign. Just obey the rules and do your campaign diligently you will receive your reward depending on the terms decision at the end of the campaign.

Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: louie69 on August 31, 2018, 11:33:04 AM In my own understanding, there is a certain allocation on what particular bounty you are participating. Probably the percentage allocation per bounty should somehow be multiplied to the overall bounty ( USD) and will be divided to the participants. This will also depend on the stakes or tokens that a bounty hunter will be given and will be multiplied to the equivalent in USD. My thought.

Your rank is Junior Member, which is rewarded with roughly $165 worth of tokens if you participated in the bounty since week #1 (your reward is 825 VEIAG tokens, to be specific, and won't change unless they plan to distribute a bonus to all participants).

Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: maldini on August 31, 2018, 09:58:40 PM For example, if the signature campaign has an allocation of $ 450000 with a total of 300 participants and the participant consists of 100 members, 100 full members, 45 stake totaling 100, this bounty runs as long as 4 weeks and all participants live it well, then:
member = 15x4x100 = 6000 full member = 30x4x100 = 12000 sr member = 45x4x100 = 18000 member + full member + sr member => 6000 + 12000 + 18000 = 36000 then $ 450000/36000 = $ 12.5 / stake so member has a stake of 15x4 = 60 stake, full member has stake of 30x4 = 120 and sr member has a 45x4 stake = 180 stake member = 60 stake x $ 12.5 = $ 750 full member = 120 stake x $ 12.5 = $ 1500 sr member = 180 stake x $ 12.5 = $ 2250 that is the description of the calculation Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: EveningRock on August 31, 2018, 10:08:59 PM The distribution of tokens depend solely on how the bounty manager wants the token distribution operation to be. That $450,000 represents the likely target value of the tokens to be shared among the bounty hunters. Usually youn earn some stakes everytime you do bounty work like signature and social media. The stakes are given every week or every month or after the period, as indicated on the announcement page. Stakes are usually given differently based on bitcointalk account rank, the higher the rank the more stakes you earn. Then after the period, all stakes are computed and each member gets their share depending on how many stakes they have. You need to consider if the amount of $450k is the total bounty reward or is this only for signature. Ex. If this only for signature then token for signature 450000 divided by 450 total stakes of all participants this will be the amount of token per 1 stake. considering 1 token = 1 usd and total stakes for signature = 450 1 stake = 450000/450 = 1000 and if you have a total of 5 stakes, then 5x1000 = 5000 token will be credited to your wallet account. Although, those bounty managers and team can adjust the reward if they not hit the hardcap. please read all bounty rules before joining the campaign and you can ask the bounty manager to explain the bounty details if you make it hard to understand. Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: xhibit1 on August 31, 2018, 11:09:38 PM Bounty token distribution actually depends on the bounty manager. So let’s say 20% out of $450k is $90k and there are 500 participants for signature campaign; then depending on what your position is, there is a specific amount for every member and also depending on the requirements you’ve achieve, and so on. So basically the $90k will be distributed to each participants depending on the total amount you’ve garnered after the overall total.

I am not a bounty manager but i got some idea on this one. First, that token allocation is given as a preference so that bounty hunters will have an idea on how much will they receive at the end of the campaign if the ICO is successful. Recently, there are a number of ICOs that modify the rules or lessen the allocated tokens because per their explanation, ICOs did not reached the target hardcap thus prompting then to reduce tokens for bounty hunters. Will that $450,000 be shared among the 500 participants or token worth $450,000 or what? Please give me an explanation, I want to learn. Thanks. The distribution of the tokens will depend on the bounty manager or the ICO. But it is usually in form of the tokens equivalent and not in actual dollars.Nope, bounty managers are only responsible for guiding, answering questions and counting weekly points for the bounty hunter, who is responsible for distributing the token as the project team. It is not always so. There are many projects that use the bounty manager as a escrow and transfer tokens in advance. Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: carlisle1 on September 01, 2018, 11:37:24 AM It is quite easy. What a damn explanation,OP dont eeven got what he wanted to learn. Stakes are allocated every ranks with specific amount ,example youre a junior member and given 2 stakes per week, and You gathered 20 stakes the whole campaign, then it will be your percentage from that $450,000 ..if all participants got 90,000 stakes all in all, then the $450,000 will be divided into2 and then again divided into each stakes that would be you part Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: webdevmastery on September 01, 2018, 11:38:39 AM All the pertinent details are explained by the thread. But if you have some other questions and concerns, you can always ask the bounty managers thru the respective Telegram groups. That way, you will know first hand on how their reward system works. Yes you are right, most of icos has their own manager who is handling the current project and you can ask anything on the manager about distribution and changing of rules sometimes. Bounties are seperated with percentage in different campaigns. after that the part of it was distributed in very group, the total stakes will divide to the allocated amount and then distribute to participants Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: nemzkiebok on September 01, 2018, 11:47:13 AM it's time to wait for the bounty distribution because the bounty managers may have made or busy and because of the one because the distribution is long since they're also closing the ico before they distribute the token.
Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: rltim555 on September 01, 2018, 11:50:25 AM Basicly it is lower than amount stated in topic, because bounty managers write "up to 450 000",so you have to read rules carefully, because bounty pool depends on total collections,so notice these details.

Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: Jonsnowstark on September 01, 2018, 11:51:57 AM Well its not really that complicated. Let me lay it to you as simple as possible.
Example below. Bounty token allocation $450,000 distribution Twitter 10% Facebook 10% Telegram 10% Translation 20% Blogs 10% Youtube 10% Signature 30% So $45,000 x 30% = $135,000 that is the amount allocated for signature To know how much you earned, check the spreadsheet. For example, Total stakes for all participants = 500 Your total stakes is 5 so below is how you compute $135,000/500 x 5 = $1350 (the total amount you receive for the bounty) Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: danbitcoin1 on September 01, 2018, 11:53:39 AM Depends on the bounty, sometimes it's actually $450k worth of tokens, other times that's only if they reach their hardcap

You can view the information in the spreadsheet. Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: Smitt on September 01, 2018, 12:04:58 PM For the distribution of coins calculated from the stake you get, each bounty has their respective provisions. If you follow a signature bounty and get a stake, then the total allocation of funds for the bounty signature is divided by the total of all participants, then multiplied by the stake you get, you can find out the results of the coins you get.

Actually the amount that is being stated in the bounty is just an estimation of the coins/tokens price to be allocated for the bounties, so it could be more or less in fiat money. Then you should look at the percentage of the bounty you participated, and count the total stakes in the bounty at the endd of the campaign. Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: Mishgan27 on September 01, 2018, 12:39:22 PM Hey. the entire pool for example 500 is divided into all bounty companies, if the signature was 10% it is 50. Next, these 50 are divided into all the participants of the signature, for example, 9. depending on their rank, they receive the corresponding shares. Therefore, it is not very advantageous to participate there where a lot of participants and if they are all heroes.

Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: andieoke on September 01, 2018, 12:48:05 PM In the distribution of prizes from a bounty campaign it depends on the manager's bounty, but usually is, each campaign is determined by what percentage of the total prize. so from there we can know how many prizes we follow, for example there are 500 participants, the amount of the prize is divided by the number of stake we receive. then from there we can find out how many prizes we will receive.
Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: livingfree on September 01, 2018, 01:12:33 PM There's a certain computation for that and that $450,000 is the pool of that bounty. There's an explanation and thread created for enlightenment of this question. Read on How Stakes are Calculated in ICO Bounty Campaigns. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2073641.msg20797527#msg20797527) Not all of the tokens distributed has exact calculations as per allocations. As I've experienced from worst campaigns I had, there's a huge discrepancies and I just don't mention here vocally because nothing will happen if I will be vulgar with that. I just hope all campaigns that offers bounty will be righteous enough to be honest on the calculations, so the trust will be back for bitcointalk community. Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: kliown on September 01, 2018, 05:26:16 PM If the bounty company allocated 450,000 dollars, and to sign for example 30 percent, then all participants in the signature will be allocated 135,000 dollars. Then it all depends on how many people participate and how many bets who gets. For example, if everyone went to the bounty company to signature at the same time and all the same rank and no one missed a week, then everyone will get $ 270. This is considering the fact that you have 500 participants in the signature.

Most likely 450 000 it is the price of all tokens which will be distributed on a signature campaign. Of course the price is taken from the price of sale of tokens on the official site. Usually it is specified in rules, it is just necessary to esteem more attentively. On the future be attentive when you read conditions.Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: adarwis on September 01, 2018, 10:25:58 PM it is a very simple thing, all bounty activities will be allocated coins with certain estimates, this also follows from the sale of coins or ICO, when you register the bounty you will include a wallet address, from that address coins will be given to each participant who gets stake every week, stake will be calculated according to the formula that has been determined to find out the number of coins that the participant will receive

It is not about how many participants but how many stakes are counted. There are 500 people, some of them are inactive - 0 stakes, some of them are earning less - because they have lower rank on this forum and some of them are earning more stakes (more tokens) because they have high rank on this forum. And after stakes are counted, you can count your share ;).Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: vinceB on September 02, 2018, 02:57:20 PM Hello guys, it will be my pleasure to learn something very important to me from my senior colleagues that are bounty mangers. If the $450,000 is allocated to the bounty signature campaign section alone, then, yes the amount will be shared based on the stakes you are holding with respect to the total stakes among the 500 participants. For instance if all together you have 100 stakes in all, and among the 500 participants which includes you, you all have 4000 stakes altogether, then divide your stake by the overall stakes, and multiply by the total amount allocated to get what you are entitled to. Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: redsun114 on September 05, 2018, 05:30:35 AM Usually when you sign up for a reward campaign, the total amount allocated for that type of campaign is shared among all participants, but if it's a signing campaign, it also takes into account the rank you have on the bitcointalk forum . When you enter the project page where you want to participate, there will be listed for each rank, how many stakes are allotted. The higher your rank, the more you get more money. In conclusion, the total amount allocated to the bounty campaign is not shared by the participants, but other factors are also taken into account. Normally, it will not be shared equally, unless you all have the same stakes over all, which we know stakes are shared based on ranks and there cannot be a single rank only in a campaign, so this is then shared based on the total stakes helped by each person. Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: sarasofrup on September 07, 2018, 11:16:51 AM Usually there is a thing called stakes. During the start of a bounty campaign, it is usually highlighted the amount of tokens that would be distributed for the purpose of the campaign. When you complete tasks, you secure a certain amount of stake for yourself, depending on your rank. Now after the whole process, your total stakes will be calculated, and the tokens worth sent to the address you submitted during registration for the bounty program.

First one of the factors for you to consider is.how much stakes is allocated to each participants. first, the rank the higher the rank the higher the stakes. the post count also could give you a maximum allowable stake. with this stakes you could divide into the allocated token reward and get your reward though. its better to read the instructions, or simply ask the manager on how they will compute it. good luck Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: Bezobraznike on September 08, 2018, 12:17:04 PM Check any official ICO site, there you can see how they distributed tokens.
There are difference, some pay more for signature campaign here, some of them pays more for advertising on other sites, blogs, YouTube videos making. One part goes to team, some campaigns lock some amount of tokens. Before distribution you need to know your targets. When you have a targets you need to divide your tokens on that targets by importance. When you do that than that divided tokens you can distribute to people who participate in your bounty. Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: Rati24 on September 10, 2018, 08:41:28 AM Well, at the end it can be done that way. But in the end everything is decided by the project management. If the pool is designed specifically for 500 people and it is not occupied by not all. At the end of the bounty, they can in principle reduce it so as to protect investors and so that the bounty hunters do not have too many tokens. Several times I observed this situation.

Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: Mark X on September 10, 2018, 12:18:39 PM Gift tokens are distributed if the ICO project is finished and has reached the target. The way to get tokens is that we have to participate in bitcointalk forums. In the bitcointalk forum there are many project choices that we can follow such as telegram, twitter, signatures and others. need to follow all the rules that have been determined by each project. There are projects that take 4 weeks, 6 weeks and even up to 30 weeks. Depending on each project. If the project or campaign has been completed and has reached its target, all campaign participants will receive the distribution of tokens as a reward because they have participated in a project. They are immediately distributed to the wallet address of each participant.

If the project they promoted was succesfully accomplished wether softcap or hardcap they immediately distributed reward token which it can look at in etherscan and they are the one to spread in what exchange site they will used as a trading. The address you submit will get more tokens and all you need to do is to wait for an exchange value. You only join the signature campaign. A bounty campaign will have multiple sub-campaigns, so bonuses will be split equally throughout the campaign. If there are fewer participants, you will get more
Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: flying_bit on September 10, 2018, 12:42:53 PM ...I did a signature campaign, and I saw $450,000. For that campaign and on the list we are not up to 500 participants. Will that $450,000 be shared among the 500 participants or token worth $450,000 or what? From what I know, it's not how many participants but the stakes where the budget for that bounty is calculated. For example, for signature campaign there's 20% allocated budget and then add all the stakes (not participants) then multiply that to how many stakes you have, like this 450,000 X 0.20 = 90,000 / 750 (total stakes) = 120 x 50(stakes you have) = $6000 is your reward How to compute how many stakes you have? check how many stakes per week for your level like for example you're legendary and have 5 stakes per week and bounty run for 10weeks so it's 5x10=50 stakes Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: zxl912157 on September 16, 2018, 01:27:31 AM The token allocation was worth 450,000 USD and then distributed to 500 campaign participants.
But if there are participants who do not meet the requirements then it will be disqualified and then the fewer participants then the more token distribution. Title: Re: How are bounty token distributed Post by: Haynes on October 12, 2018, 11:17:26 AM Hello guys, it will be my pleasure to learn something very important to me from my senior colleagues that are bounty mangers. Thanks. Usually it is divided by several parts, for example the 450,000 USD is shared by kampanbye social media, content creations, sign marks, translations etc.So what is mentioned is the total prize given and usually in the form of tokens which will be distributed. |
