Title: ***** When I was a newbie bounty hunter.
Post by: canaveralnonie on August 30, 2018, 03:41:48 AM
I want to share something about the reality.

Investors me not, but at some point of my life...I invest time to find a way to have some alternative coins or bitcoin as well. Investing time and effort in finding some opportunity without throwing a money, all I need to do is find a job here in bitcointalk.org  as a bounty hunter. On my first month of being a bounty hunter, I do a lot of effort to join on shitty campaign cause all I want is to have more experience and income as well. But I left off the importance of choosing the right newly crypto project. For my 5 months of having a good time reading and  investing time, effort, knowledge and idea, some of my campaign didn't work out, so the worst thing will come and all your work will be wasted cause you never find any good payment on all of that. As far as I remember, all my altcoins is equal to 0.110 btc for at least 8 projects.

Well, investing is not only money and other asset you've had. But also time, effort and knowledge as well.

Let me read yours?

I agree and that's how it is in all kinds of investments. You really need to put in not just your money but your time, effort, knowledge, blood, sweat and tears but you want to have ROIs which are worth it so it always come with a price and sacrifices. Lots of it actually.

To learn how to choose the right bounty campaign, you will need about a year of daily market research. If you don't have time for that, you'd better give up the idea of becoming a bounty hunter.

Going back in time, I think that should be some 8 months back when I came in without knowing anything. I can say it was smooth sailing back then cos bounty rules ain't as cumbersome as we have it today. Also their were less scam ICO back then. I.e, participating in something like 5 campaigns at a time, you can be sure of over three to get something outta unlike now.

Having to join bounty for a good half year. I learned so much not only about cryptocurrency but also the blockchain technology. But I was different then. Before I don't choose campaigns that I joined. Hoping that what I joined is not a scam. But now I have matured in crypto and tends to be choosy in the bounty I joined

This is actually my first time joining a campaign. I was a member here in bitcointalk since October 2017 but didn't use the opportunity to join the bounty. I just turned Jr. Member and i regret those months i missed for joining such things.  Now, im reading a lot regarding blockchain technology.

I have never been a real ICO hunter because I have never had enough time for this. Now I think that icos aren't the best way to invest time and money. To my mind, it is better to trade than participate in icos

As a newbie we have to start first in bounty hunting so that we learn what is all about cryptocurrency, we need to understand more and become mature so that we can move on at the next level.

many bounty hunters experience the same things as you, work hard for months and no payments, many ICO scams circulate in crypto forums, we all know there is no screening about ICO registering and starting their projects, we also know there is no guarantee payment for prize hunters, we must be familiar and be more careful in finding ICOs.

I agree to you on this, investing is not only money but also time money and effort as well. In fact bounty hunters can be considered as investors too since they are providing services for the team.

0.110 for a newbie is not bad. Just be thankfuk that you earn. As you level up your rank, you wilk receive or earn a much higher amount. I see you have a bad experience in bounty. I think I am lucky enough that I did not encounter those kind of things when I was a newbie or for sure I will give up already. Like you I also choose to be a bounty hunter because all I can offer is my time and effort. I think all of it are worth it if we are in a right campaign. We really have to choose which one is good. We really have to be choosy.

I agree with you being a bounty hunter that you have to work hard and never give up in carrying out assignments even though many bounty projects that scam remain careful and careful in choosing projects

Daily market research is good, but every other day is not the same from yesterday or today. Just like looking to a same sea, yes it's a similar wave and same color of it... but admit to your self that it's not the same view and current pressure from within. The crypto currency is still unpredictable.

Just the quote of "experience will make you perfect". Same with you my friend, my first bounty experience is not good as the other bounty earnings. More scam but im not feeling bad because i do my best to find the project good or not. Then these failure makes me more choosy in a bounty. Less projects is okey but make sure no one of them can be scam

Sounds like you don't need to down your guts or pride. But in the reality, there's a lot of bounty hunter around on this website. You are lucky and skilled enough if you find a good deal. Bias system is normal specially if the bounty manager has a group of bounty hunters wanna be. Did you experience that?

When I was a newbie hunter, it is safe to say that I didn't exactly know what I was doing. I needed the extra funds, and wanted to do something to get theem, but I didn't fully understand how bounty worked, and so majority of the bounties I did then did pay out, cos I probably spent time or a shitty project, or didn't carry out tasks like I was supposed to.

I am not a full-time bounty hunter, but I usually choose a signature task, so that I will not waste my time, I can complete the task during the daily chat, and the bonus of the signature activity is still very good. on time. I think this is a very good thing.

Sometimes  you feel like this...

“When I decided to live my dream, I thought that from now on my life would be a dark tunnel in which I walked alone. But I didn’t realize how dark it would be. And I didn’t know how lonely I would be.”

For being a bounty hunter, it's just like a long tunnel that has no end or limitation. But sometimes, it make us tired without any good income at all.

We have the same experience, when i was newbie here in forum, i really want to participate in so many campaigns because i believe that the more campaign, the more money you earn, but i was wrong in that kind of mindset, and i really dont know that some campaigns are not profitable because we will wait if the campaign was successful of not, or else you wasted your time and effort by doing the task. But now, i learned that you have to investigate campaigns first before entering and participating to reduce the risk and wasting time.

many of the people here have the same fate as you who are working for several months because many of them do not pay, this is a risk that we have to choose as a bounty hunter but here I also suggest to be more careful in determining the project so that we do not work in vain

if you feel that is enough for your earning  i think you could do it as side job.and not necessary to resign from main job.for some people they scared about bounty campaign future, that maybe could not give them constant earning every months.

I am a newbie bounty hunter but only doing signature campaign.  Already finished my first project but I have to wait after ICO to know my reward.  I don't know a month or two or maybe three or maybe they are just gone with the wind.  LOL.  Now I am on my second project, hope they are succeed.  Wish me luck.

Participation in properly selected projects can bring good earnings. Some projects in which I participated paid $ 4000- $ 7000 for participation in one program (signature, blogs) at the price of ISO. Then the price of coins fell, but this doesn't mean that participation in the bounty doesn't give anything. Just need to carefully choose projects.

It was really a confronting challenge, although with much lessons and experience accumulated over my first two months, as a Newbie bounty hunter, after I thought I was done with off-topic discussion, I wasn't too acquainted with the procedures involved in submitting any blog content via the Google submission form, it was until it was during the allocation of stakes that I was notified that I submitted a wrong article link.

This experience was devastating but I summoned courage to relate my difficulty with a friend who helped me with how to submit the right link and after words, I'm proud that I am now prolific in submitting correct links.

These are my experience as a newbie bounty hunter.

When I was a newbie hunter, I really spent a lot of time familiarizing and learning on how to choose a good bounty campaign. It is not that easy because my first bounty campaign was a scam. But I just moved on and learned from it.

When you are just starting as a bounty hunter, it takes time to understand how it works, which ones are good/bad and that's the reason for getting paid a very low amount or no payment at all. But as you start to understand and get picky in selecting bounties that's when you have the chance to get paid better and not spend time on bogus campaigns.

Receiving 0.11BTC from just 8 projects is not really bad. Because one of my friend have joined more than 100 projects and the total balance is still no more than $200. As the OP has said here, when we first come to the field we may miss lots of good projects and we choose to do very shitty projects. That is an unavoidable situation for most of the newcomers. With the experiences they will understand more clearly how to choose a project by doing researches etc.

My friend introduce me to cryptocurrency and he mentioned that this forum is the best source of unlimited job where you can earn a lot depending on your effort, bounties you participated and time management. I was a bit curious how he earn from it so I ask him every time I don't understand a thing. This industry is complicated because of the number of tools you are using but at the same time, I realize that he was right. There are a lot of opportunity in crypto industry and you will earn a lot without cashing out but to put an effort and time to this business. Being a bounty hunter will make you learn everything and understand what is cryptocurrency.

I only do signature campaign. The main reason is I have no time to do lots of tasks due to the less free time. Also when I read that lots of people have said doing social bounty is not profitable, I have no intention to do it. But I'm sure that lots of people have earned more money from bounty hunting.

I has do research about bounty hunter couple month ago. 6 month ago, I was a new hunter to (with a NEWBIE rank).. i was gaining my knoledge and try to learn everything about ICO and Bounty. My friend said, i can earn $500 - $1000 being bounty hunter. But, in the fact, i just earn around $100+. I think is hard to earn $500+

Is that posible to earn $500 - $1000 from 1 project?

Do you have any earning experience more than $500+ ?

Exactly, these projects grow and attract other investors using the time and energy you invest into them. Sometimes, time is a scarcer resource than money, so either one should be invested extremely carefully. After all, you can make more money, but time you can never make more of. Time should always take precedence over money when it comes from a skilled individual.

I think I have read someone's post in this forum about earning more than $1000, around 5000$ in one, single project. The thing is, he/she waited for at least three months to have a more stable and higher price of his/her coin. For sure there are still other members here who earned the same or more especially those translators and the bounty manager itself. Well, I think, if you are good enough, even if you only got $500 from one project, you can make it to more than $1000 through trading.

I have been involved in bounty campaigns for more than a year and I have a little experience. I am sure that as soon as the bullish trend begins the situation with the earnings of the bounty hunters will change for the better. Unfortunately, I think this will not happen soon, but I hope that in 2019 the situation begins to change.

In the past few months or before the end of 2017 almost bounty campaign are giving rewards more than $500 but nowadays, when the bear market has begun, most of the rewards from bounty are not that high. Yes it's possible,  lately almost 2 months that I work in signature campaign the rewards from one project that I get is really huge. But of course it depends on the project that you choose, better to search legit bounty campaign.

I used to join on signature campaign always than social media campaign because I always see first the percentage payment rate. Obviously, the signature is more payment than facebook and twitter, also I learn a lot while having fun on joining different threads here in bitcointalk.org.

But you have a red trust on trading ( I mean your account ) , thinking on how you did join those bounty campaign? Cause as I remember, they are strict on that...only few project. Or maybe you have alternative account which is not forbidden as well.

Good thing that you did some effort/plan to move and to get all the loses you've encounter. Just keep going and find good opportunity on bounty hunting. Just keep out or avoid some useless tokens or altcoins "shitcoins". The most effective way is read first the white paper and find a high rank and trusted bounty manager as well.

It really does not worth that much when i was a new bounty hunter since i came at a very bad time. The bounties are very hard to comply with their very strict requirements. Also, there are scam projects as well. Sometimes the project is poorly planned that it failed.

for 8 projects - 0.1 bitcoin is not the worst option. this year, people and 50-100 companies lead and a maximum for all received $ 1000. scam in any case will be. even the most promising project can simply not collect a soft cap.

Your story is pretty common among bounty hunters. We all have that story that we spend a lot time and effort but did not get paid in the end. I joined a few campaigns as well that haven't paid. The one I regret the most is joining a signature campaign for 22 WEEKS!!!! and only got a few tokens due to its dismal token sale.

Well this is a typical life of bounty hunter in this forum sometimes after some months of working we just received only a few bucks from a shit projects or from irresponsible managers I also took many months before I earned well from campaigns like 6-7 months when I was a member rank, doing bounty here is not so good when you want a stable income a regular job is a must.

When I was a newbie bounty hunter I have nothing knowledge on how it manipulate. I promise on myself every day I should have new learnings to adopt so that I can applied it. Now I understand how cryptocurrency will helped us to have an extra income for ourselves and family. I experience also how to choose a good project on my own self with the help of others. Then others projects are still not paying what I do.

Everyone has different experiences and views about bounty. If I personally am very happy when I am a beginner and take part in a bounty. I can get a lot of experience, both joy and sorrow. I have participated in a bounty that was a scam and had given an error.

Investing in an ICO is not always between the ICO and your money, sometimes it just takes effort and time.
Yeah, Participants in bounty are not just workers, they can also be called as investors.
they are working for the ICO for advertisements for the success of ICO sales.

as a newbie, i sold my tokens too early. this made my profit just 10% of the real amount.

You can never be able to predict whether or not the tokens or the underlying project in it, will be successful or not. I've seen a lot of tokens that went from $20 down to $.5 or something.

When I started work as a bounty hunter on this forum I was quite afraid that whether I would earn some money or not but on the other hand my friends are earning quite good coins from bounty campaigns even they made good money from bounties. By the grace of god I did some good bounties and made good money from those bounties but I would add one thing I receive coins from only 20-30%  of bounties I did and 70% of the bounties did not paid me yet or many has been scammed or paused but from last 5-6 months earnings are reduced because participation in bounties has been very much increased. Nowadays its hard to opt out good bounties.

We have the same situation... too much competition. Also add the universal demand which is the form of communication, specially if the English is not your local language. You need to be more capable to express your idea in a perfect form of English. Adjustment in language with a useful thought or constructive information as well. If you know that, you will have the advantage to dominate all the bounties you want to join in.

Absolutely, you will be more capable to do a lot of things or comment if you are comfortable in English language. Also, we need to use the correct uses of symbols ( punctuation marks ). That is the usual demand in alternative coins bounty section, so learn to adjust and be more accurate.

If you are currently receiving 0.1 BTC for 8 project, then it is a very good income for the current market situation. Of course, if you have a campaign, signature, translation ... it is not worth the time and effort you spend.

To learn how to choose the right bounty campaign, you will need about a year of daily market research. If you don't have time for that, you'd better give up the idea of becoming a bounty hunter.
It's true that in your opinion, finding a bounty is also very difficult because there are many SCAM ICOs.
If ICO is SCAM then the result of the bounty is also SCAM or the prize will not be given and that is just a waste of your time.

You have a great portfolio there, even though the price of the coins altogether do not look like alot right now, it only takes one bull market to turn all of that around. Also you are lucky to be in projects that are actually paying out the coins that you have worked for, there are a lot of people waiting to be paid so you just have to hodl and wait for better prices

If you are a new bounty hunter, the first thing you need to do is to learn to improve your knowledge and experience of crypto. Take the time to research projects, market research, visit websites, consult crypto experts ... before you decide to join a bonus campaign. You need to be patient, do not rush and fulfill the requirements of the bonus campaign.

I appreciate for the effort you made. Your effort is not wasted. Your effort yielded you a decent amount even at this crisis situation. Every ICO's token value falls down below ICO price once they are listed in an exchange.

Everyone struggles to choose the correct ICO to work with. Many do fail but very soon they learn from old lessons. When the market booms up, you will have good earnings. Never give up your positive spirit.

Being a bounty hunter is not my main job. I have a small business that accepts bitcoin as a payment. When I read in a local forum about bitcoin, someone suggested that I enter the bitcointalk forum. every night I read and continued to participate in forum discussions here until I found a post about a bounty. I learned it and tried to join in the bounty campaign. I was very surprised to be able to get crypto here so I continued to pursue bounty activities by not leaving my small business.

Bounty is a great way to earn tokens of many projects. I started bounty training in early 2018, and during that time I participated in many companies. Many of them were scams. Some of them are not over yet, and many have not yet accrued tokens. I understood that this a long way to earnings. But I'm not going to give it up. Since there is no money to invest, I will work hard

Well OP, you have a good story to tell, unlike some who because they got nothing from their first set of campaigns, decided to leave bounty and some left totally. To me i feel that is not the solution. When i came in, i was a bit fortunate, because i had someone to guide me, which was the person that introduced cryptocurrency to me and i was able to find good campaigns that paid me well.

Everyone has their own tendencies and interests in taking the road to gain profits in the world of cryptocurrency. For those who have a lot of capital, they will definitely invest with their money, for those who have a lack of funds, I will look for other effective ways to get equal opportunities, namely to become a bounty hunter. It's the same as investing time and energy, as you say, to help promote a project.

That is really the same thing that will going to happen on the newbies in bounty hunting. In order to acquire and enter good ICOS or campaign, you should still consult people with experience, and based from their experience you can figure out good campaigns.

To learn how to choose good campaigns it takes about a month, because after some time you will begin to understand which of them makes sense to participate and which ones are better to be removed, only with practice you will make the right choice.

To find a good project we have  to research constantly  to be able to find a good one.
It is equally important for profitable bounty hunting to be able to analyze the bounty
allocation structure, soft cap -hard cap, number of participants, bounty duration
and other factors before joining .
