Quark algo is one of the best: Low power consumption! -> Cards cooler

I am chinese, my english is not that good.

The difference between this and fair quark is there is no premine like 4%.
The second difference is the way reward system works.

Lastly, as a group of chinese educated programer, we have confidence to bring this to the next level.

I know that this coin does not have a logo yet, which will be added in the day the coin launch within the next 48 hours.

The code is not just in our skull.
It is already developed and commit to github using push origin master.

The main seed is setup and merkelhash, genesishashblock is all being added with checkpoints.

The nodes which we currently use 2, are git cloning and then compile with UPNP=- and we check on the debug.log to ensure the transaction is commit safely and works as intended.

We are now currently testing the rewards system with the nodes & also doing the final touchup on linux code.

The next thing will be up the window qt wallet.

I managed to start at block 644 and I think I forked almost immediately. Block 700 right now.

remove those port numbers, you can't connect to port 62489 because the wallet is listening on 8118, inbound=true means connection was established by 82.11.219.59:62489 to you:8118 (the one issuing getpeerinfo)

Reason for the block chain issue is because some of the peer are not sync to the latest. I guess I will add 1 more 24 Cores servers to the node syncing in progress. Will announce the node when ready. Else the other way is I will download blockchain from main node to replicate node to help the issue.

Is shown that the node had not yet sync finish. However whenever I type getmininginfo on my replicate server, the block count is increasing. Propogation is in progress. it will take slightly longer. However once this node sync finish, the speed of synchronise will reduce greatly.

After 20 seconds , block increased by 30. Quite slow but its moving. Due to too many requests directed to main node, but I setting up 1 more 10 GBIT server with 24 core to act as secondary node, previously the other node I prepare seems to have firewall issues.

I will just use this new node to help resolve the issue.

If you do the above step, your warning will disappear very fast.

You just need sync like less than 100 blocks from the 3 nodes and then you are to date. The error will not appear.


Reason why you see this error is due to the difference in upload speed and download speed between nodes, and also you join in at N blocks, for user who join in at start of the launch, the update is much easier.

If you put into folder, it should start syncing.

Just run ./randomquarkd or the randomquark-qt  ,or what you can do is just keep the wallet.dat in the folder

do a fresh install of randomquark

Then you download the block chain

Move the folder unzip downloaded zip file above, which contains folder blocks and chainstate into your

and put back your wallet.dat, randomquark.conf (also inside the zip file) into the folder


Then you run randomquark, I can assure you its work. If you at block 500 or so, its probably your blockchain input was not done properly.

Only perform the upgrade if you have sync issue.

You only lose your money if you delete away your wallet.dat, the money that some people see are mining that are done when its not sync. So its not existence in any way.

You can set the reward to whatever you want. The previous block should be used as the seed for the random number generator.

Not a hardfork is needed but a relaunch with the proper patches.  Whole distribution is unfair and dev is just ignoring the fact that most of the people are just on various forks.

i was with the launch yesterday and this was a hell of a forkfest(why, because of premining?). Not even one post about the proposal of relaunch from the devs, instead postings of already being listed somewhere and vote beggings combined with this ridiculous post in the beginning from a "trader" praising this coin i come to the conclusion ...... This has to be SCAM!

Its true that the amount of confirmation is a concern, but I will try add more nodes to help support the syncing.
We don't do any form of IPO like HeavyCoin (CPU), we simply just open and let anyone mining, just see the first few page of the thread will know what happen yesterday.

I think the main concern was that yesterday the Main DNS Seed Node was not sufficient, thus leak to block chain syncing concern. Too many wallet user and too less seed node. With pool joining the network, this would eventually be rectify.

As a CPU coin developer, its not easy to get the same amount of trust in scrypt than with CPU, a lot of impatience and argument here and there.
But as part of the developer team, we will only work towards bringing Exchange and Value to this coin, to rewards miner for their Hash Rate.

Currently contact near 10 exchange and following up . What we need now probably is more publicity.  For those who fail to mine the coin, they can shout scam all they want, many of the great coin start off with blaming, but what the RandomQuark developer team will do next is to mainly get value for this coin at various exchange.

To constantly improve the wallet and introduce new feature.

Where is my money? Exchange? Games? And not a word about the money. You talked about compensation, you owe a lot of money!

IMHO the 3 official nodes ARE NOT on the same chain - whenever I am connected to all three the daemon gives an error and switching to safe mode.

High time to sort this out - I do not see, how a coin can be traded at an exchange, if even the official nodes are not in sync...

What a pity, that dev is ignoring problems.

I tried everything (documented or not) to have my wallet in sync (and I had sometimes more than 50% of the network hash - I thought, that it would help...) - but I did not manage for more than a couple of hours.

A COIN WITH A WALLET THAT DOES NOT SYNC IS BROKEN - nobody should buy coins, if it is not clear, that they will be still there after 6/12/24/48 hours!
