You could have sold your alts a few months back when prices are good but now is not the right time. Just wait for market to recover. i sold too but 2 weeks ago with a big loose. this was the third time i lost from alts. 1st one was very good and seems like never gonna happen again. so i am out and not thinking enter for a long time.

I agree, never sell for less than you bought, if you do it means either the project was crap and you should have known better, or you invested money you couldn't afford. I'm holding coins that have dropped 60-90% but most are actually doing really well on tech development, marketing, adoption etc, so holding now isn't keeping me awake at night. Good projects will survive this market!

But if its ETH and other good Altcoins, you should not regret it because it will rise again and it will be more worth it in the future. It's not so much that I wish I sold all my altcoins. To be honest, I don't have many, and for each I don't have much. Well, they're absolutely not worth much at all today at this price!

But I do wish I didn't buy more than the few alts I do have. I do wish I never wasted all my time with stupid airdrops, stupid mining, stupid POS. They were fun, some, they were experiments others. And the ones I did end up buying, they're worth just so little now they might as well be 0.

But the ones I bought to hold for years, I held and kept adding, I still believe in them. The future looks bleak. But history tells us to be patient. Don't regret. At least you learnt something, right?

I regret not selling in January and then scooping up all the coins in this lowest part of the market cycle. I lost over 99% of my wealth this year BUT I never regret coming into crypto. I would capitalize on this downside right now and try to accumulate as much of the best coins of your choice as you can before the next bull cycle comes along. Everyone regret not selling their altcoins and bitcoin to stay in fiat in January. It is easy to cry over spill milk now but in January, everyone was optimistic and said that bitcoin is going to 100k this year. This is a lesson for everyone that cryptocurrencies are very risky assets and they can drop over 90% in less than a year.

This is the most common chant of all Crypto enthusiast including me who missed the opportunity to sell high last Dec 2017 but i say don't lose your hope because we have four months left before this year will end in which the most predicted bullish will start according to most of the famous experts in Crypto field. I do think that prices will recover in the long-term, but it may take a while. Don't panic sell at the bottom of the market.

There goes the shushing! :). Really, I see no reason why anyone should be worried or depressed over the state of the market with all that has been said on this forum entirely. The problem is people do not like listening to the truth. You tell them what they should not be doing, but because of greed, they end up doing it anyway.

If anyone is not seeing this as an opportunity to buy, then I wonder what they want exactly. Why we should regret to invest in altcoin it is because of the market value price will goes down.We should not be disappointed  on it because it is part of our game.We will hopeful that in the future it will be recover and hopeful that the market value price was raising so that we are gaining profit.

Those people that has been disappointed in market now are the users that is not supporting cryptocurrency and those people that is newbie in this field..though were facing hardship this whole 9 months but still the cryptocurrency are fighting to recover and for me,this is just a test of trust when you can hold or not ,to gain large amount in future

After sometime, you start noting the growth in the value of your portfolio and in the third phase, when the value of your portfolio exceeds beyond the point you had set to earn, cash out. So do not sell yet for you still have to enter your third phase.

If regretting does any good to you then regret but for me, I won't regret as I invested in the altcoins which I believed in and I was in it for the long haul. Yes, temporarily this thought crosses the mind that we could have benefitted if we sold them before but frankly no one knew we will hit this low and back then using stop losses were not in trend as you may miss out on the big spike.
