My opinion, I think ethereum will still see some good days, because even with the drastic price fall, ETH still maintain the number 2 spot in coinmarketcap, that is impressive and that means the volume and the usage is still there, so my conclusion is ethereum will sure come back to outstanding price

to be honest, i feel sad im the price of the ethereum and got shocked. but we don't do anything in a situation like this. when the market have a problem and when the botcoin is affected. expect that the all alternative coins would dropping. the only thing we do is just wait for rising up again. holding

You see on how this market is full of speculations and though its hurting a lot of people with such drops still hope and encouragement is coming. This isn't an abnormal price for Ethereum, we are not used to see it any lower price but we all want to see it pump.

The current price of ETH is quiet expected since bitcoin keeps on dumping and a lot of negative speculation about ETH right now that makes people on panic. I think ETH will still recover this year, though this may take more time but it will happen. The team behind this coin will surely not let this technology die, maybe they are just waiting for the market to calm down and they will back up ETH for good.

The Ethereum price is pretty abysmal right now. I am shocked to see it drop below $200 like it did earlier. When Ethereum's recovery starts it surely will start with a bang and a huge pump. It's just lately when Bitcoin goes up, other alts like Ethereum go down. So if Bitcoin goes back up, Ethereum possibly may end up staying at the same dollar price but it would lose it's value in Bitcoin, like it has been.

I think Eth and Bitcoin are no longer tied together in terms of pricing, I think Eth has gone it's own path. A lot of the crypto market seems to be decoupled from Bitcoin a little bit as of late.

Not sure about that according to the latest news from coindest about another bearish support will come SEC has been suspending one of the bitcoin service. Crypto is a bubble and that's why a lot of speculators have played very well on this field.
Remember this it just like a bubble that has already burst and need very long time to get another recovery.

can't agree with you too much. The usage of ETH is decreasing day by day. One example can be, fewer investments in ICO. Most of the ICOs are failed to reach its soft cap. What does it mean actually? The usage of ETH is decreasing, isn't it? But, in the long run, ETH will increase again and of course, we will the new ATH.

Yes that is an interesting price to buy bitcoin, but I think that waiting for some more time means to waste our time. In fact the increasing trend has already started and I do not think that the price  will dump any more. I think that still we have good opportunity to trade Etherium in a good price.

At first im a bit sad about the current price of eth.. i cant believe that it will fall to this price again. Some experts say thay eth will replace btc, but looking at the price now, its falling. but i hope that this market will soon recover.. And im rooting for eth on its ath again..

The issue with ethereum is that it has an infinite supply and the value grows with its relevance and usage in the cryptocurrency space. Ethereum is the most widely used cryptocurrency for ICO's, but the dearth of ICO's has rendered its usage minimal and thus the drop in price. There are many other factors responsible for the drop in price, but I believe that the reduction of ICO investment is among. I do hope that it regains its relevance in the cryptocurrency space

Only had limited fiat money to move in but did so yesterday. Might be a few days early but it is impossible always to buy at rock bottom. Have used this cheap ETH to lower my average price on one of the recent ICO. Planning to do the same for a few others.

The downward slide in price of ethereum is not what anybody would have predicted but then trust the market there is still the likelihood that it will go up. The bad days might not have been over but we can not rule out the possibility of a price appreciation before the test is over.

Whenever bitcoin price dropping, the altcoin mostly dropping even more, but when bitcoin rising, the rise of altcoin isn't as significant as bitcoin does.

Yep ethereum will definitely bounce back, but it is sometimes interesting and at the same time disturbing when you see something you invested in lose more than half of it value within the shortest possible time  :). I see it as one of it rough times but things will get better soon.

200 is the historicaly stable price for ETH.
Last year 200usd was for more then 6 month. I think its the real price of etherium

Agreed mining is not profitable these days due to the value of cryptocurrencies are low. You cannot even afford the electricity bill if you are mining now. I think we seen the lowest that ether can go already. We saw ether bled to $165 and in less than a week rose back to $240. Those that were able to buy that dip would have netted  almost 50% profit already!

I still perceive that eth is going to rise behind where it is now. It even has the potential to make more than x5 of what it is now and not only that it is used most times by lots of investors.

It's a hard reality to face looking at eth at such a price especially when a huge part of my portfolio is made up of eth, the price going down cam as a shock and while I still believe in the coin, it was hard just to watch the value of my coins plummet even more. ETH is   a good coin so I do not doubt the ability of the price of the coin to rise back again to a very good price

Eth price for me is just okay right now because eth is not the only altcoins that are decreasing of its market value, i think all of them but when bitcoin start to pump all altcoins will also follow.

I think that now ETH costs very little, because such prices as today will probably be inaccessible to us in the future. I begin to believe that today the world is still preparing to integrate new and new cryptocurrencies.

I think now price of eth seems normally, also I think it should be 200 of usd, probably it will stay top2 but not for a long coz ripple is stronger and stronger with each day and distance between them not such big.

Unfortunately, the Ethereum price fell too much in 3-4 months. But I don't think the Ethereum price will go down to under the $ 200 again. And  I think the bull season will begin in November, so i believe that the Ethereum price will increase to around $ 500 at the end of November.

my opinion maybe eth prices have been better than yesterday. honestly a few days I see eth as it will end. several times the position was overtaken by ripple and the eth price fell to $ 160. maybe August and September is a nightmare for ETH holders. my hope for this October, hopefully eth prices can return in the range of $ 400- $ 600

Until now we have always been presented with a red market, so the downward trend always dominates almost every month to the month. this is a fact. I believe what happened to ethereum was no more due to the decline in bitcoin as a market binder. and this happens to all crypto that have been traded. so I still believe that ethereum is always wide open in the future.
