But of course we will still experience some dumps that time but its not that low like the current market. My prediction about the price of Bitcoin in 2019 is that prices will grow further and stay away from today's price of $ 6200. of course if we see the previous history of Bitcoin prices every year always experience price increases. so I made it as a prediction for 2019. In my opinion, an up and down price is a common thing in the world of markets, even bitcoin has greatly dropped prices, but it is not always because the price of bitcoin starts high again after coming out of falling prices, but I'm sure in 2019 bitcoin will break all time high records then bitcoin is trusted by the world.

As i think that in 2019 the price of bitcoin would be stable and we will see a bull movement a specially in the summer, deffinetly there wouldnt be a big hype and increase in 1000% like it was in january 2018. I see a good future and possobilities that bitcoin will show in 2019 :)

I think Bitcoin in 2019 will be like the time of 2017 where it goes up to the moon until it reached more than 19k$ almost, so same goes in my assessment in it. this year is not a bright year of Bitcoin. I think after a big pump of last year, bitcoin need 2-3 years in stability in order to be up more in the future, so 2019 or 2020 it may be get a high value

a picture for bitcoin in 2019, being by the end of 2018. the more popular, or the more FUD is about bitcoin, we have to prepare it. but I believe that 2019 will be the year for bitcoin. so, prepare it so as not to miss when bitcoin goes to the moon.

Bitcoin will get a big increase in August of 2019 as it did in the year of 2017 . we can see the price down under 6000$ in this weekend before it can grow up to 7500$ at the end of September. I'm ready to make an order at 5700$ and waiting for dump. Buying and holding is a good choice in this period.

In terms of stability I think 2018 create the most stable price in the history of bitcoin and I believe we need stability in other to be able to make progress in blockchain technology.  I hope our investments will give good return as the market recover from it low this month.

No one can predict what happen in bitcoin in the next year but if we look at this year , we are seeing that this year was a major bear market like it was back in 2015-16. And there is still a chance that we will end this year at low price.  So I am hoping that in 2019 we finally will get to see rise in Bitcoin price.

The fact remains that no one knows anything and people are simply just looking for a way to predict the market movement in their favor and hoping it would be that way. I wonder when people will always get the picture that in a market, the trend will always be your friend and trying to predict the trend is actually going to get your hopes high too much. 1000% is not a reasonable prediction. Come on guys, this is not like every year; a bull run should always be expected. There is certainly movement to every market and the market acting accordingly in that way, while so far, all we have in our hands is a bear market. Now, how this market is going to act out before the end of the year, or possibly by 2019 is only known with time, as there is absolutely no way to know something in the future until it happens.

My opinion, right now, is that this bear market will last three years and a half, and we can see a price of $1000 by the middle of 2019. And yes, I'm exagerating it, because I dont want any surprises here. We need to be psychologically prepared for such values.

There's no point in discussing bitcoin anymore. The blockchain technology could solve a lot of issues, specially concerning both public and private bureaucracy. Unfortunatelly, bitcoin exchanges are getting more and more bureaucratic, with tighter KYC regulations, and most users are simply accepting it, ignoring that bitcoin was created as a way out of such bureaucracy.

Blockchain could also be used to transmit every kind of data, like games, movies and books, or medical records, scientific research, administrative paperwork, etc. However, most altcoins were revealed as scams, hurting the idea of the blockchain.

Blockchain could even be used for decentralized exchanges, but see what are called "decentralized exchanges" nowadays: apps for smartphones which are used to fuel one or another altcoin, which becomes just another scam, since no user is storing the blockchain from such "decentralized exchanges" in a proper computer.

Halving is something that will change price as always, maybe this time can be something else. This block reward reduction can adjust price to higher number or not. However next year can be anything in type of not just bitcoin but all crypto, generally we could only speculate in price and all other thing but in real we can only hope for better. In hope of any change for price my guess could be double the current price is maybe for end or first quarter of next year.

 Bitcoin future as of now is so hard to predict because of its performance nowadays.  But I'm pretty sure there will be a high increase again next year, ( in fact it's always happened every year.  but in 2019 not too much in my opinion.) And real talk it will not stay for long time again because of some causes, which is for sure it will collapse again after the growth rate bullish .

You have to encourage and be optimistic, if you will be like those people who are very skeptic and their pessmistic ideas are coming in you won't grow and you're no longer interested on the future of bitcoin. But we have the same goals here and that is to see the great price of bitcoin.

How so? It's been a pretty disappointing year really in my opinion. No huge good news and a whole lot of value being wiped off not only bitcoin but the entire crypto market. The only things I see potentially happening this year or maybe next are the ETFs but I have no idea how much they will benefit the value and whether it'll only be superficial or short-lived or not. Could be huge for bitcoin or a bit of a damp squib.


Probably the same as this year. A few ups and a few downs. I think the halving in 2020 is the next huge big thing on the bitcoin calendar and hopefully that will start getting priced in to the value during next year.


But I think being blindly optimistic is also setting yourself up for disappointment. What if bitcoin never gets to those highs again. Sure, we all want bitcoin to be worth $20-50k, but that's just wishful thinking. Realistically is that going to happen? Probably not. Call me skeptical or pessimistic if you want but I'd rather be realistic about things than just baselessly speculating on these magic multiple tens of thousands of dollar numbers.

I am not so optimistic. I estimate that the price of Bitcoin will be similar to this year next year. The bull market in 2017 is crazy, and the digestibility of the cryptocurrency market is limited. Maybe 2020 will be another spring for Bitcoin.

As time goes on, I want to believe adoption would increase as the technology keeps advancing and we see bitcoin becoming a house hold name in terms of usage as a currency. Yes, for that to happen we need more people/country to adopt bitcoins compared to what we are having and what few countries are doing. Time is the only answer for all of these.

For what it is worth, we all so much believe that the future is meant to be great even if we cannot see it, so looking at 2019 is just best left with 2019 as we will see what becomes of the space as well as bitcoin when that time comes. Most of the comments here in topic show how big idiots some members here are, most of this idiots or all of them didn't even read what op shared, but they have a lot to say about it. Link to quora is full with chart analysis, many of us know how useless are this charts in crypto world. You can read how to do some analysis, but it's all guessing, you can use math for what ever you wish, but bitcoin can do something completely different. I will quote something from this link, to show how funny this guy is:
"I am 95% confident that the price of Bitcoin will fall between $3,005, and $81,998 in one year." Haha, this is funny, for next year I predict price between 1k and 100k dollars, and if I guess right  I will be an expert? Haha

That is the basic idea as long as there is no human in this world that can simply get to understand what the future holds and as much as we can anticipate for a great future, it does not mean there still would not be some resistance and obstacles along the way which could lead to either more strength or weakness. Bitcoin market is for sure one that we all really wish it would grow bigger than it is currently, but as it is, we still have to remain realistic that it is all in the hands of time.

2019 is really good for cryptocurrency since we are at the $6k price so we can expect higher prices in the future and we can earn more profit in this way so keep on holding your coins as of now and have more patience.

We can't see a window to those prices for now but if that will happen someday again that's great but if it won't, still its okay.

I believe the future is very bright and we are to keep on thinking and investing into it.  I don't think we have any best time to invest in bitcoin and cryptocurrency market than now and I have in mind to invest as I see good opportunity to enter.  Bitcoin has do well last year and 2019 should be another year we should expect grow.

we can only speculate that the price of bitcoin will be better in 2019, and that we can see at the end of the year. well, hopefully 2019 will bring big changes like bitcoin in 2017. it can be said that this year really tested crypto users.

I don't even think that's high unlike the "experts" prediction for this year.

They predicted that price would come for this year but still there's no assurance that it can be reach. It's possible that we will still be in a very long bear for that year and 2020 is going to be the year of recovery.

There's more to come and I've been looking forward to the effect of the next halving which will surely give positive result.

I don't know about bitcoin but each year blockchain finds itself a place in the world where people keep asking about how they can implement blockchain to their already running systems.

Blockchain is bound to change the software world and any developer who is working on how to be a better blockchain coder is getting paid by the bunches. Considering coders are already one of the most paid people and blockchain developer is something much rare they are of course paid more than other jobs. Which means there are people out there who want to hire these people so they can change their software to include blockchain into it.

Today the price is about $6200 while yesterday it was about $6400. It means that there is no regular increase in the price for the last 8 months.

Bitcoin, blockchain or crypto in overall still shows a great potential in each individual. It is an advanced way to do forex and to be an investor. It can benefit many individuals as long as we took time to research and study it. 2019 still gives hope for crypto.

Judging by some fact or some experts in this field opinions are divided in look of price. Some expect to see bitcoin recover by this year end and possible reaching former ATH price while other are hopping to see what will be with trading platforms CME and CBOE. If this comes as many expect price could reach new ATH and possible mass adoption in the world.

However this is only speculation like any other thing.

Just wait for the upcoming price points and news of the cryptocurrency this year, we are in the final quarter of this year so the highlights might happen as well as the gamechanger to its current price, who knows it might be the new ATH record, the price will reach 15k to 20k or the price will drop which is not favorable to all of us, we can't carve a complete speculation from an incomplete info.

Well, patience is always a good thing for holders and I am sure any sensible holder will not have any problem with that. Nevertheless, it is obvious that blockchain technology is advancing by the day, we are getting to see enthusiasm and huge interest all over the world in this technology and they believe that it is the future. I think next year, cryptocurrencies would be like 2017 again wherein many coins would be able to rise and then we can see some projects that matured as well because those who finished their ICOs last year or this year would have fully implemented projects and we can see now their true value and how in demand it would be in the market.

More coins would be use for its actual use case. If you are under the impression of Bitcoin doing price rally at the end of this quarter because it has done it in the past, you might want to think again. Historical prices even though it seems like happening in the same time is not a effective way to predict price actions accurately. The problem I see here when we are comparing historical prices is the demand and supply is always not the same compared to other years. This year might not even be the same case as compared to the other year.

This year has been a tough year already for those who want to see it as a tough year as I only see it as a year that gave smart people more opportunity to buy lower. Future is very great for bitcoin and the blockchain and even though this year may have been bearish, I certainly believe that in the long run, this is a year that a lot of people will always wish they have been able to pick the prices we are now as I see mainstream adoption gradually kicking in, institutions wanting to get a large play and countries beginning to find ways they can benefit from it rather than attacking the space.

The year has still not ended but at least for the last 3 quarters, it is obvious to everyone that we have been in a downtrend, but that has not changed anything about the bright future that lay ahead of us and only those who are very smart enough will be able to know and see the future before it even comes, just like some already saw now back in 2009/2010. No doubt this year was so bad for cryptocurrency and thousands of people lost their money due to fall in the price. It is because the last year bump was not according to the market cap and collapsed soon. In my opinion the coming year will be normal for cryptocurrency. The prices will rise gradually according to the market capital and there would be no bump and dump in the price.

I think its brighter for blockchain tbh. I have seen many rich people talk about how blockchain has a big future however the same people saying "blockchain has a big future" also kinda mean that bitcoin will not be part of that future.

2019 will be a weird year for bitcoin. We started a bear run during the early days of 2018 and we are at September right now and the bear market is still going strong and we are not seeing any improvements in the price for a decent change. Now I do not care if there is a bear run or bull run for myself because I make a decent amount based on dollars myself and whatever the price is I am getting the dollar valuation of that anyway.

I just want more and more people to be interested in bitcoin regardless of the price however the price needs to go up if we want more people involved. 2019 can be the year of that, the year of more and more people join to bitcoin and make the price go higher.

I think bitcoin has a bright future because 2018 has sucked so far and I do not think it can go on forever like this. I think the price of 20k is a question mark but if we check historically what happened I have couple of ideas. Either this will go up and stay there for a while like go from 6 to 9 or 10 and stay there for a while and than do these swingy moves there, like go to 8k and 11k constantly and so forth.

Or it will go down even further to 4k or whatever even maybe lower and stay there for a while and go back to 5k-6k range and stay there for a loong time before going back up again. I do not see 20k in the range anytime soon tho.

I do not want to predict anything about the next year because I not believe in predictions. The reason is that all the previous year predictions became false and were against the actuality. No one can make predictions about the coming time. Some analysts predict according to their surveys and analysis, but nobody can say why most of the investors withdrew their money from bitcoin.

The future remains unknown to bitcoin and any cryptos because no one really knows what's going to happen next. Bitcoin/crypto is unpredictable because of its volatility. Just like what happen today when bitcoin suddenly falls down when everyone thinks that cryptoworld is already in the bullish trend.

It is good to not even predict anything because I am sure no one can ever get it right in any case at the end. One thing I am certain of right now is that whichever way bitcoin and the whole space is going to take in the future is best known with time.

I am sure for blockchain; we will get to see a whole lot of development within this period which we are already seeing the foot prints gradually and possibly the market value by then would have increased hugely. Nonetheless, we can only be optimistic and hope for the best, believing that there is so much more to come positively, so at the end of it all, like I always say, time and trend will tell how things would turn out generally.

Unfortunately, more and more common people are usually left behind in the long run except for the smart ones, and you will be surprised to see the way they will always come back joining FOMO at the end, and the institutions will keep ending up stealing from them. The price is not a problem and any smart person should not see it as a problem but actually a step forward to buying at a much lower price than last year.

Only those who can at least see the potential in the future that would know this is not a time to be chickening out and if you do that now, you will get left out eventually.

Predictions and speculations of crypto market are counterproductive and would only lead to more hurt when expectations are defeated. However, constant trading applications and safe hedging of crypto assets can keep a doctor away.

As usual, bitcoin is expected to be the king of cryptoworld as it continues its dominance above all other cryptos due to the continuous rise of its adaptation by different companies/entities worldwide. With that, bitcoin and blockchain will always have a brighter future.

Many nations are speaking well about blockchain and DLT. But for bitcoin the major determinant of a favorable fate is regulation. No doubt this is inevitable.

The future of blockchain and bitcoin is very bright because the world is going towards digital currency and crypto is a mean of digital currency. Blockchain is a new technology and will prevail in the world in the coming few years. Bitcoin will grow more in the coming year and hope the price will more forward and may reach or cross $20000, but it is not guaranteed.

The future of both bitcoin and blockchain looks bright. Both will witness new dimensions of development and adoption from different institutions will increase: governments, banks, and private organizations. I can't say much about its value, but definitely it will worth more than what we have today.

I don't think we should have to see the future now as the past has shown that bitcoin is going to grow when there is time for it.  We expect that time is coming especially the end of this year and maybe by second quarter of next year.

I think that the vision of bitcoin prices and blockchain technology in 2019 can be very expensive and there will certainly be many platforms that are starting to accept and use blockchain technology to create better and safer economic conditions. from that development it will be able to have an impact on the price of bitcoin which will certainly be able to make the price very expensive.

The future of bitcoin is always changing from good to bad and back again in the short term but in the long long long term is is always looking good

Predictions always misguide people and that’s why I never believe in predictions. The reason is that all the predictions about the year 2018 were totally against the facts and the price stuck to the level of October 2017. Now again people predict about 2019 but I say that nobody can tell the nearby price because nobody knows what will happen tomorrow. Wait till next year.

We can all see how things are gradually beginning to play out in most countries lately and how much they are actually looking to adopt blockchain technology which makes me believe that the sky is still very much going to be the starting point and we have not even moved yet, considering we are not even close to the possibility of saying we have a mainstream adoption which means when that time comes, we would not even be saying what we are saying now. I have a lot of confidence in the growth of this market in the long run as well as in the further development of blockchain technology.

Obviously no one can, but we can at least be optimistic knowing for a fact that the possibility of seeing the market grow far more than this is most definitely there. From what has been going on lately with the adoption of blockchain technology and then the cryptocurrency market growing daily with institutions and banks wanting to be a part of it, I guess we just have to admit to ourselves one way or the other that this market is here to stay and we have not even seen anything yet until we start getting to the point of real life usage for bitcoin as a currency.

Future of Bitcoin and that of Blockchain technology is superb which made the Bitcoin’s future, without this technology its position may get disturb. In the current time these two are going well and it will have achieved many things with the passage of time but you have to be preparing for everything. BTM technology added more to the Bitcoin just like we use ATM cards for banking transactions etc.

Pretty superb and that is one thing I am so certain of, which is the fact that there is so much more to come in the long run. Those who may not be seeing the great value bitcoin and the whole blockchain technology brings due to their limited knowledge may not really anticipate what the future would be like.

However, it is something we will all get to experience anyway, one way or the other. I believe there is so much more to come in terms of development and usage in the long run, and judging from where we started from even last year to this point, I would say we have been developing and we will obviously keep developing.

If you are considering the fact that it has been changing from good to bad, that depends on how you are seeing it as an individual and how pessimistic you are. On the optimal level, everything with bitcoin has been good. At least for the chance that we are even getting to buy lower at this good bargain is one plus and secondly, for the fact that this market actually looks very bullish in the long term and the fact that right from the start, this market has been in an uptrend, and considering the low of early last year, to what we are considering a low now, come on bro, there is a lot of things to be happy about.

Bitcoin 2019 looks good.

2018 has had continued adoption of Segwit, now up to around 50% I think.
2018 saw the release of Lightning Network on mainnet and its continued development and growth even in beta.
2018 saw some major exchanges batching transactions which will help lessen the burden on the network in the future.
2018 will see Wall St finally start entering the game with BAKKT coming online as the first Wall St regulated Bitcoin exchance, starting with physical Bitcoin futures Dec 12th, and more Bitcoin investment products to come later.
2018 saw the crash and now the bottoming out as Bitcoin's price likely has begun what will be several months of sideways action in between the bear and bull markets.

2019 should see Fidelity introduce Bitcoin trading and storage for its institutional clients.
2019 should see Goldman Sachs introduce Bitcoin trading and storage for its institutional clients. It is also investing in Bitcoin merchant solutions.
2019 I'm sure will see further solid development of Lightning Network, perhaps even approaching being usable by the average person.
2019 might see the SEC start to accept Bitcoin ETFs which will open up Bitcoin as an investment vehicle to a whole other class of traditional investors.
2019 will see the start of the next bull market, bringing in a lot of new users and increasing adoption by merchants.

Things are looking great for Bitcoin next year, as the FUD of this year leads into excitement and introducing Bitcoin as an emerging new asset class for traditional investors in 2019, along with fundamentals improving like merchant and user adoption and an improving Lightning Network.

Blockchain will continue its development as well as Bitcoin. May we say that, everything for now is still having an experimental way to find what is best for and may people will appreciate it in the future. Crypto is fully in strong foundation that's it why volatility rate is getting stronger. We often to witness many changes in the coming days as crypto will fully develop.

In fact both bitcoin and blockchain are in their early stage and therefore still both have too much potential I hope that with the passage of time blockchain technology will continue to develop more and more, bitcoin also have too much potential and its price will also continue to increase more and more.

Hopping to see new rise but only in 2nd part of the next year. Having some feeling that it will be the next faze for next ATH. Also have confidence to see good for price in next few month, maybe it will be some small spikes but it will be good for everyone on board to see some good positive movement in price.

the future of bitcoin I see will be very good, surely someday bitcoin and the technology used today can be one of the best solutions for making transactions so that blockchain will be widely used for several platforms in 2019.

Bitcoin and blockchain may be having a good reversal of trends this coming 2019 but that's only a speculation that needs to be proven first. As we can see the market is down until now and i don't think this will remain until next year.
