Crypto's that have a utilitarian purpose are suited to survive any bear market we encounter. Also, first movers like Bitcoin & Ethereum are obviously here to stay. ICO based coins like Curaizon & Nauticus have REAL purposes in this community. Curaizon is solving a real world problem in the medical industry & Nauticus is creating an exchange that is unique in several different ways.

If you had to compile a list of ICO's, which ICO's would you infer will survive the next 2 years?

What are your top 5 coins for the long haul?

Curaizon is a ridiculous invasion of privacy, monitoring individuals every hour and texting their families if they don't do what they are told? No way I would ever sign up to something like that.

Nauticus whitepaper says the exchange was supposed to have launched already. Not a great start when they've tripped up before even reaching the first goal on their roadmap.

I'd maybe find new coins to start shilling.

From all coins, in which to invest and hold for 2 years, I chose following #5: Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS, Litecoin and KIRIK. Last coin can be purchased on ICO, I think it is very promising coin. KIRIK Platform gives technological solution that allows unite different blockchains, expand functionality and use of smart-contracts but, most importantly, makes them understandable for specialists in various fields of economy. And also will allow to commit transition to artificial intelligence 2.0.

In most cases HODL is the best policy specially when you got a legit coin.

For me the best altcoin for long term hold is older and proven Monero. I just dont see any better at at the moment.
I think in the long haul a lot of the coins we have now are going to dissapear.

Curaizon isn't an invasion of privacy. The ICO was designed to help save lives & money in the health care industry. If your family deemed someone a high risk patient & they agreed to use the technology, then there are no issues. Nauticus is in the process of doing the KYC for their exchange. Nauticus is ahead of "bigger" projects like CoinMetro. I would rather have a successful launch with delays, than a mess that causes issues with investors. On a final note, why would I shill a company that you can't buy anymore? These are just examples of projects I follow.

If you guys believe that cryptos are the safe heaven investment then you should hodl. Coins that can make a good project and real use cases on blockchain could determine its price. Let's make things change here. You should check the coins first before investing. I strongly urge that to my fellow cryptonatics.

I don't usually believe in hyping of a project until the project has proved itself. I only see the top coins in cmc going the haul. We already know these coins but my own choice is bitcoin, etheruem, litecoin, monero, waves or binance .

Long term the best projects are going to be infrastructure projects. Picking which ones will perform best is really too difficult of a task. I will bet however that if crypto as a whole does well then BTC and ETH will be safe bets for the future.

For long holding? why find other cryptos?  Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best, there 's no need to prove, it is proven for many years, newly erected ICO based coins have more work to do to convince investors to invest, though their other coins have potential but I'de rather go for the for the latter.

Ethereum (https://coincodex.com/crypto/ethereum/) is at a very good price point to enter and is a good coin to hold for long-term.

I agree that top cryptos will probably survive the bearish trend and get on to being bullish again, but for now ICOs might indeed be a good thing to get concentrated on. I don't like finance-related ICOs and tons of exchange projects, because imo there already exist lots of trusted exchanges, so I can hardly imagine another one making a difference. I guess now is the time for ICOs that are related to something real in this world and want to make their small contribution to crypto adoption in various areas, not promise abstractly to lead to global adoption.

Cant say much about Curaizon I haven't said already. The YouTube interview with the CEO Nicholas (Google it) shows he is an actual businessman. I would say Curaizon>Nauticus right now

Maybe it is a good choice investong into past-ICO tokens which are currently so cheap, cheaper than ICO price. Because they can give you maximum profit. But it is very risky...

Possibly, regardless the market needs to recover. It's been beaten to a pulp over the course of this year...

This got me laughing real hard. I listen less to paid shills, I spot them from a distance. Don't know much about Curaizon, but Nauticus is project I followed and I'm a tad disappointed with their delays with the launch, doesn't speak much good about the team

If I am to choose coins to invest for the long haul, I would go with bitcoin and etherum to begin with. These are two great coins that I know would make sense in the long term as they are the most traded and have good use cases in this market

The delays are a tad bit disappointing, but nothing to really worry about. I would rather have a clear flawless launch over a product that was rushed. Nauticus was the 2nd ICO I followed that I felt could be a strong competitor in the crypto market.

Yes definitely and i think all the serious investors are here for the long term, i was just reading an article today that claimed the crypro market will reach the volume of 80 trillion in next 15 years, just imagine if we enter now and stay alive till next 15 years im sure we will see goldmine right in our wallets then, i personally expect btc and eth to grow into huge precious assets in next few years.

Couldn't agree more! The market is still recovering from the huge selloff in Dec/Jan. We entered a bear market & we just have to weather the storm.

There's no guarantee that any of them is going to hold up long-term, and your safest bet is still bitcoin of course

Agreed, but BTC can only multiply so much. It's kind of like investing in Coca-Cola vs a penny stock. Penny stocks are riskier, but will net you significant profits or losses. Coca-Cola is there to provide a safe haven for your money and give you dividends. BTC is Coca-Cola without the dividends. BTC has room to grow for now, but not sure how big the upside will be once it hits 10K again.

Dont expect a FULL recovery. Expect the market cap to steadily grow over the next decade. And also for quality projects to weather some pretty serious storms

Market recovery is relative. Remember some people bought BTC at $20,000, for those people, until BTC hits and surpasses that ATH, the market hasn't recovered for them.

I will absolutely agree with you. However I haven't heard about Curaizon & Nauticus before. I will check them out for sure one of these days. As for me the top5 coins for strong HODL are the following: XEM, PundiX, Cyndicator, Patientory, Amber. There are much more for sure. These are the ones from top of the top))

I agree on Pundi X and Nem, I strongly urge everyone to buy as much as you can when opportunity takes off we will definitely win this era. Please do Research more about Nem Mosaic. Especially Loyalcoin.

Hang in there guys. HODL is the best strategy during any bear market including stocks and precious metals!

It's very true that projects with a working product and useful applications and use cases, are very likely to survive bad markets, and thrive in a more favorable market.
Besides BTC and ETH, I would Hodl, DASH, steemit, Cardano, zilliqa, CHT.

In my opinion, the best coins for long-term storage are BTC, ADA, ICX, NEO and ETH. All of them have their own peculiarities and huge prospects in the future.

Right, almost all of those are some of the first movers in the market as well.

BTC and ETH are the way to go tho at least for a safe approach.

The only token worth holding is one that is designed to increase in value over time.

although we have a big chance to recover in the next month, it is difficult to expect a full recovery because every altcoin is on the lower ground and it needs more than just support from every community. but we still have the next year which we can hope that the recovery will slowly happen so the crypto will be back to the high price and help us to make a big profit in the future. and right now, the market still trying to recover although it's not too big, and if this continues, then I think we can start to sell the crypto while we can buy again if the price is down.

I don't know about the two links that you provided, but I'm sure if you understand that the ICO you follow is good then just hold your coin.
I also hold a lot of altcoins in my wallet, maybe someday there's a price.

Honestly, and unarguably, I think that one of the very best cryptos in the market that are worth long term hodling are Bitcoin and Ethereum. Despite the recent struggles that these coins have been having, I still believe that they are one of the safest investments anyone can have, and are totally worth hodling for a long time.

Well, I will share here my top 5 which I am currently holding and will consider holding till the end of 2020 if I don't get into the desired price. It may sound foolish to you but it's the strategy for me.

I've seen the Curaizon project, and it seems to me that It will be able to survive in the next couple of years, but to determine what will happen to him actually impossible. Even good projects die, and now a lot of scam.

For me the best altcoin for long term hold is older and proven Babb, DRG, EOS, Pundy. In any case, it is better to buy coins for the holding with a small capitalization.

I am holding most of top coins such as neo, ADA, XLM, and ICX long term, some of my new ICO investments include media protocol and sparkster which I will hold long term also.
