Hey guys!

How do you track changes in rules of bounty campaigns? Do you use any telegram channels or websites?

First of all, bounty programs do really mostly being posted on this forum itself which means it would be just normal for you to check out every now and then on OP if theres a certain update came from the team or by manager itself.If you don't like to miss out any updates or informations then seeking out on telegram channels would be always a good option too.

Other than hamphser said on above, sometimes the manager even pm'd all of participants if there is/are some changes in bounty rules (but mostly announced it on OP's bounty thread). The best way is always check regulary in weekly if there is rule change or not on bounty thread

From what i have observed so far, information may not regularly be communicated on the project bitcointalk bounty thread so its usually best to join their telegram group and follow up

I agree with what Hamphser said.

As a participant of that particular bounty, you have to check the thread from time to time and if your bounty manager is really working well then he will contact you through DM's (bcc) to all the other participants for that bounty. But since there's other source of contacting team such as telegram that's the reason why some are requiring it.

I am asking it because I wrote a script for tracking all changes in manager's posts for most of campaigns in bounty thread and I am wondering if I make a Telegram channel to publish it will it be useful for users or will it be just a waste of my time?

I guess I will have a gap only where announces publish at Telegram channel, should think how to track them.

Depending on where the bounty campaign started, and when I say where, I mean if it is posted here on bitcointalk or it is hosted within a website or bounty platform.
If it is here on bitcointalk, then it is simple, make it a habit to check the first page of the bounty thread; bounty managers often post the announcements and updates on the first post of the first page.
You can also join the bounty telegram group of such bounty campaign to get updates or check the social media channels of the ICO/Project. Bounty managers nowadays usually have their own telegram/discord group for their bounty participants on all of the bounty campaign they handle, you can join those and get updates too, even talk to some bounty managers/admins.

For newbie's like me I don't think if they are another information sites that could helps bounty participants to track bounty campaigns movements. Telegram and Discord are one of the applications that I would like to use it is more easy to use and it is convenient even in mobile phone you can use to updates for all new bounty campaigns rules and guidelines. However I don't know if aside from that there are some apps or site that we can use to track your bounty campaigns pinned message, rules and updates.

Are you sure of tracking all of those bounties? there are too many of it in the Bounties if you will ever come up with that script. I know its possible but its going to be a lot of work for you to monitor each of those changes.

You can create your telegram channel for those changes if you really want to do it but I want to know why you want to do it? I think I saw the same script and purpose before but that software didn't made a noise in the forum.

As a bounty hunter, I know that most of us are wnat to be updated about the bounties we had participated so that we can catch up to the latest and abide the new rules if the bounty management changes it. In order to track any changes in the bounties, I just go to their bounty thread because the bounty manager will just update it or posted it if changes may happen and the other option is to ask on their bounty or official telegram channel.

The bonus rules are usually announced on the bounty manager's telegram channel or in the bounty thread of the project. You must check regularly as the message in the telegram may be floating.

Check the bounty thread and telegram channel of bounty (if there is one). It is not so difficult, however it allows you to get any important info that should be published there

I usually use Telegram to track.. But instead of the normal telegram, I use Multigram. With Multigram you can Favorite groups. And there's a separate tab for announcements.

What I do is I favourite the bounties I'm in, mute normal chats and leave just pinned messages to notify me. This is to reduce the noise and be alerted when something of note is being said.

Instead of this anyone who participated on campaign can follow the bounty thread and op poster's show posts page. This will be helpful to find every update from the ICO team about bounty program.
If there is anything needed to be added they may PM it personally or publish it on the bounty thread too.

For clarification also you can message him via PM on forum.

I track both on the forum and in the telegram. But, unfortunately, this is not entirely convenient and timely. It would not be bad if the changes in the bounty conditions to the mail came notification.

For most of those who only participate in twitter and facebook campaigns I think they are not going to read the OP as they just keep reporting. You will notice this because even when the campaign ends, they still keep reporting in the bounty threads. Only those in signature campaigns are monitoring the rules changes as sometimes, the manager do change things.

LMAO okay that part about twitter and Facebook hunters still reporting even after the campaign has closed made me laugh. It's so true. Lol.

If I join the ICO signature campaign, first of all I track how the steaks are placed in the table. If the messages are regularly counted, then everything is fine. However, from time to time it is necessary to go to the topic of the bounty campaign for the first, and then to the last pages. Already at the conclusion of the ICO process it is useful to go to their website, look at the amount collected and in their telegram to know the progress of the ICO.

I used both telegram channels and websites to track changes in a bpunty campaign. Participating on the telegram helps us know what is the currently situation. Websites gives us advisory on how will the run and strong.

Keep on checking their Bounty thread and telegram group.

Telegram group is more convenient way to interact with bounty team.

Its very simple you need to keep visiting the their bounty threads very often for the rules changes and mostly the updated post will also will get written in the second post of that bounty thread in the reserved place by the manager so it is not hard to find it.

The bounty rules can be seen on their thread, so I put on the watchlist all the bounty campaign I have and put some note when to submit reports. I actually have my notes on me so I will not be confused about my campaigns and because of that I can easily see the recent update about the bounties. Monitoring your work is really important for a bounty hunters so you can see if your details is still correct or if you received already the stakes.

Its easy to monitor it, just visit everyday in the bounty thread and you will be updated as easy as that. If you have a lot of bounties then do an excel or write it on a paper so you can know the time frame. Its good to have time management so we as a bounty hunter will succeed in this market.

You have  it both  btt  forum   and tegegram group and channel  bounty  admin  should always  notify  all  bounty participant both  in forum or  telegram channel  :) and  also always check bounty for more updates and  news about the bounty campaign.

You can bookmark the bounty campaign manager link, every time you are online in this forum make it a habit to see first the latest post bounty campaign manager. Because every change in a project will be notified by the manager, I guess it's an easy way compared to finding out on the telegram group, because it's always a lot of new posts so it's tricky to see.

The best way is to spend time with it. continuous OP tracking and bounty manager's profile. Usually, they have little time to fully update bounty related news. It's a bit different than the current automated bounty -  platform leasing service.

In order not to make a mistake, you need to view daily social networks, branch and telegrams. I always do. It takes a long time but is reliable and there will be no errors.

For me to track a change in the rules of the bounty campaign, obviously using the bounty telegram itself. because the telegram is where there are problems with changes in the project or the participants can directly comment and also monitor the news about the project.

You can see bounty updates through their Bounty thread here in bitcointalk or you can subscribe to their social media accounts. Also, the best way to know information and updates about the bounty of the project is to join the official bounty telegram group because this is the are where all of the updates and changes indicated. They announce it there because managers of the said project can be contact through telegram so it's better to join on this platforms.

As a bounty hunters, we want to have an update or changes on the bounties we are participating. If I want to get some latest updates about the changing of rules on my bounties, then I just ask admins on telegram bounty official channels, I just send a personal message to the bounty manager and I just visit their bounty thread so that I can catch up if there are any changes.

Unfortunately there is no automatic way to do so.

When i was doing twitter campaigns, it was hard to follow all their changes, very often it was frustrating because some campaigns tend to stop their campaigns for a while before the end date and it takes few weeks for participants to understand that.

I find it that Telegram is the most efficient way to do get the necessarily information.

When a lot of company, for all you do not have time, so I watch fixed messages once a week in a telegram, if there are no changes, then it's better to go to the forum there for sure the manager will write !!!

Bounty Manager make post on telegram or PM you

As far as I know, the telegram is a media of communication to share the information even the policy of the rule of bounty campaign from the developer.
We can follow the group of a telegram to always update the information.
There is the other way to get the information when we miss it.
In my experience, I ever had missed the information about the change of rule my bounty campaign, but I can send a private message to the manager through the telegram and bitcoin forum to keep getting the true information.

Yes, it is today a problem, rules very often change. 1 time a week I re-read the rules of each company in the basic theme to make my work count. And 1 times in a week I read telegrams bounty channel .

Normally the rules will not change from the beginning. And there are very few cases where the rules will be changed to match the current situation. So if the bounty you join is changed the rule you should regularly update the telegram of the bounty you join because all the information and changes will be posted and pinned there.

I have encountered such a problem when the terms of the bounty was changed, but in the bounty thread about this has not. I learned that from bounty chat in telegram. So I would advise to check the bitcointalk, but also from time to time and read the chats in the telegram.

really? will the bounty manager contact via each bounty hunter by PM? because as far as I know, there are a lot of participants participating in a bounty campaign. but if I have one campaign with a few participants, maybe they will do this

I mainly use the chat telegram. It's more convenient for me. Moreover, in the bounty of the branch do not always write if some conditions have changed.

You can see it on the main thread of the bounty campaign, the manager and the team behind it are transparent in their rules it indicates that the bounty manager reserved the rights to change the campaign rule so the medium that you can see the changes is in the thread itself.

Now in each program has a  channel Ico and bounty. You should check from time to time pin message.

Frequently updated on the bounty topic of the project, the bounty group on the telegram is also a place to update bounty news. You can also inbox directly to the campaign manager to ask about issues related to the bounty campaign of the project.

The most of bounty has their threads here on forum and what is more they have their sides so it is not that hard to track changes, just try to read whole rules before the end of every week and thanks to that you will be well informed.

best method to track a campaign is to follow thier thread ( the one that you applied from )  . read the first page and the last page to see if there are any changes made by the manager .  you can also check the spreedsheet for additional informations after joining and after each rounds in order to track your progress .

other methods is by joining their groups ( i.e telgram , discord , slack , etc ) some managers and admin do update thier partcipants via groups for faster communication .

Since you have participated in the bounty activities, it is necessary to join the bounty community of the project.

Except for taking time out for the campaign and respecting it. It is very hard to monitor all of the changes in bounty campaigns. Sometimes changes on this forum can be added too late (for example, manager can be banned), so it is better to use groups in the telegram.

Regularly monitor and update new information from the project you participate in on the project's official ANN bounty, bunker support telegram and you can also directly ask the bounty project manager for further updates information.

Be active always in Bounty thread as well as Telegram.

I usually check the main topic with bounty once a week. Usually in the beginning of the topic Manager allocates a different font and writes in big letters all changes. But I also recommend reading the main one in full.

It's nice  when you find a group with an admin that is fan of crypto currency).But often meet a users who want to promote their channel for earnings.There are also threads on BTT Once a week when I make report I read the first page of the bounty thread and of course TG. And when the bounty has already ended I'm   sometimes read a news TG of this  project.

You can track the changes in rules in a bounty campaign by checking the thread itself and if the project has telegram groups, it is commonly posted there so I don't think you should worry about it. The only problem you're going to have is being active or not.

yes that's the right way to monitor changes in bounty campaigns that are very easy to use telegram, besides being easy to discuss, also easy to get the latest news, unlike social media, as long as we do not access, we will not know the campaign changes

I think if you value and respect the bounty as a proper job. It's time to spend time on it, update project information,etc, and also refer to the bounty manager's profile. Right. Need to check the ANN thread every now and then. It should be a practice followed everyday. Any updates on rules related to either bounty or a signature campaign, can be found in OP. Usually the managers update the participants via each communication available to reach. We tend get into OP to check out the spreadsheet status. Besides this, we tend to ignore the OP page and ANN thread often. It has to be a regular practice.

During this time I used the telegram to find out the latest information about the bounty campaign. Bounty managers will tell important things to update everything about the project or there is a new rule that all participants must adhere to. Looking for an update information through bounty thread is not very conducive, many spammers make a report on their work (usually for social media campaigns). You need at least once a week to read the main theme of the bounty and once a week to read the telegram channel bounty.

Well. i do check the bounty announcement post from time to time. I mean like once a week and with that i usually don't miss any change. But still you can't be 100% all the time. So you have to accept the fact that even being super active you might miss a few things at time.

You have to bookmark your bounty threads and you have to keep visiting thwm too often if there is any changes in the first post and sometimes the campaign will come to end before they mentioned but people continue to do their weekly tasks without knowing the completetion of their campaign so it is important to visit their bounty threads

For me, to track changes in the rules of the bounty campaign is in the bitcointalk forum and the telegram bounty channel or the manager's bounty telegram channel. If you are working on a bounty (social media), don't forget to check whether there are changes or not. And don't forget to monitor the telegram channel.

I think you just once a week to read the basic theme, there's always writing about all the changes. Do this regularly and you will always be up to date with the latest news)

That is always the best way to go about it. I wonder how you would be participating in most campaigns these days without at least having to check the thread once in a while since there would always be a need to submit report.

I guess a lot of people do not tend to take that serious and once they start a bounty, they never imagined some instructions could be passed and most of the time, it is always available on the OP page which should always be checked at least weekly as far as I am concerned. A lot of people also tend to join telegram groups created for bounties and that is also another way to get to know the latest.

Most of the new rules are usually placed on the OP of the bounty thread most of the time and a lot of them now always tend to have telegram announcement group which anyone can join so as not to miss the chances of getting important updates on any project they are participating in.

The latter is what I have always made use of actually for a while now except once in a while that I may just have to visit the OP at least once in a week like you said, to see if there is actually anything. For people that do not check often and for some project bounties that do not announce when they end, now I see the reason why some people would keep submitting report even when the bounty has ended few months back.

Always check telegram bounty groups created by the projects you're in or by your bounty managers. This is the place, where all the new information appears first. Forum is not always up-to-date. But of course make sure you check both telegram and the forum.

Take a look on the bounty thread every week or even everyday to get updated cos telegram and website wont help you. Every bounty manager updates their rule and posted it through this forum
