Title: Feel like quitting
Post by: aicel on September 18, 2018, 11:39:44 PM
Honestly there are more reasons to quit? When I see my rank become a newbie again I feel empty and nothing to do. And in the other side I see the market price falling without changes. But it keeps on falling down. Literally like I am far on achieving my goals. Can someone help me on what strategy I will do to get some merit points and how to do when the market price is low?

Sure . It's easy.

1- ignore all bounties
2- read mastering bitcoin from Andreas Antonopoulos
Available for free here
https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook/blob/develop/README.md

You will learn a lot about cryptocurrencies. You will be safer to invest and able to help people and get merits.

Keep stacking btc that you can afford each month and hodl

Be patient ... Rome wasn't built ...

If you are expecting to pick from here winning alts out the sea of diluted trash then that is probably a bad move and a waste of btc

If you are locked into huge losses don't just hold you can still swap to other projects that have dropped massively but have a good chance of a rebound

Strong time tested proven teams ... there are some out there getting close and some have some good use cases too.

It happens like that, but don't forget it should not be only you. It's like they are trying to regulate a lot of things to make it well rooted and last longer. Most of the ranks now take longer time and more post count to upgrade.
We are all in the boat.
Also as regards the issue of low market discouragement
I suugest you adobpt patient and keep your campaign on until the market is favourable.

Thanks for your info dude. It helps my knowledge in mastering bitcoin. I will guide this tool as my stepping stones. Having merit points is the priority of those who demoted at newbie rank.

You are not the only one feels that, lot of jr.member demoted are struggling for the new rules in this forum so bad for us that 1 merit is hard to received. I Try to scan here how member received their merits https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats

those are two separate problems of yours, rank are for just bounties and campaigns, if you want to do bounties, sadly, you still need to rank up, i am confused with your statement that you become a newbie "again", how come? anyways, you dont have a choice but to rank up, too bad it is really hard to rank up now these days,

about the strategy to rank up, basically read more, read a lot, there are threads that discussed this king of queries, but to sum it all up, you need to have like a super informative post in order to gain merits, plus the number of posts needed to rank up. ranks have nothing to do with the price of bitcoin in the market, even you are just a newbie, any one can do trading, just study more about the dos and donts on trading.

If your freaking out about moving down from Jr Member to newbie you need to work on keeping calm when things go badly and keep your mental game together.  Becoming a newbie is no big deal.  I made a commitment to build quality posts since the change and i already have been given a merit reward.

Start by making a quality post sharing your knowledge with the forum.  As far as the market is concerned just chill.  I think we will be turning around here very shortly.  You have already most likely sustained a massive loss so no need in selling now.

I believe if you simply remain patient and let this entire drama unfold you will come out way ahead.

Cryptocurrency does not revolved around this site. There is still a lot of opportunities other than doing signature campaigns. Try other campaigns and look for projects outside and you can also invest in cheap altcoins that have the capability to grow in the future.

It has been a fairly bad year in terms of price and growth of BTC and Cryptocurrency in general. We must all remember last year was a freak occurrence that we may never see again. This is probably a good thing as the validity of Crypto to be used mainstream for everyday transactions we need the price to be relatively stable. Last year the price of BTC grew $1000 sometimes within an hour. It was absurd and the Fear of Missing Out (FMO) encapsulated the marketplace. This is merely a correction to something more normal and stable. Nothing is crashing, it just isn't going gangbusters. Keep the faith and hang in there, remember to diversify your investment portfolio.

Why did you rank go down to newbie? Weird

its normal, not only you but a lot of people is devastated to the newly implemented rules on how from newbie to Jr.Member rules.
but no worries, as long as you learn dont rush yourself. try to learn something outside the box. contribute to the community.
and there will be a couple of people that will consider and acknowledge your work. and give a merit for you in a while.

and secondly, market price could be falling. but its not the end of the world.
it will rise again, but its better that your HODLING some crypto. when it rises.
and make a good profit when the hype happens.

You can't get any merit point until you can try to create a useful post that makes other wants to give the merit for you. Try to visit meta will be much better and i think you can try to get them all through join with that guys that has become a merit source. Without merit and you can't do anything. Stop spam and just try to create more and more good post. it will help you a lot.

Stay strong. Don't quit. Winners never quit.
Write good post and those "merit wells" will eventually take notice.
Who knows, there may be another change in the forum rules in the near future that maybe beneficial for newbies.

Learn other venues where you can earn crypto - trading, staking/mining, etc.
Exhaust all possible means before quitting anything.

I feel you bro when I started in cryptoworld I have nothing and many days, months or even a year I got nothing. But I got inspired to the people that have patience even though they didn't get anything but after many times of trying all the hard work they have done got paid it's started from little by little and now they getting a huge money and they learn so many things while doing it. So now try to learn first or try to learn while doing something so that you didn't focus on one thing. Let's just be patience and try all our best on all the what we are doing, explore and learn then got paid.

Not for nothing but places like bitcointalk.org ain't really a great place to carry a legendary badge .. unless you want to sell the merited account ofc. Realistically if you want some actual merit go make a gpg key and get into a wot or two and forget about places like bitcointalk for the most part. Explicitly learn and master only what is in demand, most of this can be done by reading and not so much writing.

t. guy that's been here for a bubbler or three.

The only way to get merit in this forum is that helping other people or improving this forum with new ideas, but you should know that you must have good English first :). Beside, it's really difficult to get merit in Altcoin sections, you should post at Meta or Serious Disscussion.

I think you should make a useful post to get your JR.member account again.
for example, use your knowledge about how to make MEW and his wallet, make how to trade on the IDEX or forkdelta market.
try doing it in your own local language to make treads. maybe someone will give you merit.

Be patient and stay optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency, because even though your rank goes down to Newbie and it's difficult for you to join a bounty campaign, there are still many income opportunities that you can maximize like investing in cheap altcoins that have the ability to grow in the future.

We need to stand strong while we collect as many coins as possible (all good coins of course).
After that just have to wait patiently, while we keep on learning about this cryptocurrency, that way we could be able to do another things than bounty.

I just read all ten pages of your posts.

Everyone was under three sentences and you did not offer a viable helpful link to any website.

Once you were demoted you wrote longer posts to complain you were hurt in your pocket.

So far I have read 20 demoted jr to newbie.  Your are better then 15 of the 20 in your post quality.
And you did mostly all one line posts.

So not to bad mouth you but the fourum is dealing hundreds of guys that post poorly and are here to make a buck.

Yes, its not easy mate but there is no reason to give up. Just keep on working, you are here not just to make money but also to learn more about cryptocurrency. Your rank is just a basis, you can still earn in bounties.

Continue to work in this forum, later on someone will appreciate you work and you will get merit. Don't give up even in the current situation of the market because it will rise again in time. :)

you only need one merit to be able to return to jr.member. My advice that you need to do now is just focus on improving each of your posts, giving useful posts that can help other members and be useful to increase their knowledge. so they will give you merit.

The feeling of stopping and giving it all up comes to everyone, but those that get over it will have profit to earn and story to tell. Cryptocurrency is fast moving sector that require you to refresh and de-stress! Sometimes, it's good to take a time out and come back to begin again!

If you're rank goes back to newbie, I think its best if you stop on bounties for now. Not sure if they are accepting newbies on social media campaign but on signature campaign, newbies are not being accepted. You can focus on what you have right now, that is what you learned on your previous experience from bounties and trading. Knowledge can go a long way especially if you are starting from scratch. Better have something than nothing.

Can someone help me on what strategy I will do to get some merit points?

~Learn more about the Merit system. Go to Merit & new rank requirements to find out the basic information about it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0.

~Analyze the previous discussion about how to get Merit. Get the points "what people suggest to get Merit with effective way".
Example previous discussion related to "how to get Merit":
1. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2867871.0

4. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2861268.0
5. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2828892.0

~Learn more about cryptocurrency and bitcointalk forum as a whole. You will get benefits if you can master it. At least, you can easier to make a useful thread and comment (reply) with a better way.

I suggest you to stop complain. You need to improve your capability and knowledge. However, the Merit system should not be a reason to make you quit. Don't be lazy, we must be smarter now.

~I think this question should be on Meta section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0~

how to do when the market price is low?

~Analyze what coins that are possible to survive and develop later. If you have money, you can buy the coins that meet the criteria I said before.
~Don't sell your coins with very low prices. Just hold them during the decline cycle.
~Keep calm and don't be panic.

no need to be sad and discouraged because you are back in the beginner's rank again. all you have to do now is just stay focused on improving each post that you will give. give a post that is needed by other educators and that is certainly useful to increase their knowledge. that way they will give you merit, at least you need one merit to be able to return to jr.member.

Indeed, do something that is for the improvement of the community. Its really hard to do that as there are  many members already  and  only a few people are giving merit randomly. Even you have a good posts as  but did not give attention to someone, still nothing happens. Begging for merits is not allowed too.

What to do when the prices are low is to collect and collect, keep filling your bags with cheaper coins.

And on your part, keep on posting the way you are which is informative and helpful to others. Focus with one goal, don't give up your goals if you are into crypto market, learn and achieve things the harder way and it will be worth it.

It's a setback for sure but from what I was reading you have an option to pay for Copper Membership which will cost around $12 payable in BTC and give you the same signature privileges as a Member. I know it's annoying but you will soon recover the outlay from Bounty campaigns.

Want merit just hop over to meta and start back slapping and getting into some team and hop in on their arguments in threads there with supporting statements you just mix up from what has already been posted . I notice all those with buckets of merit are all big meta section posters that are either helpful or just part of some clique.

On the other hand ..forget rank and merit and just focus on

1. finding scams and highlighting them
2. finding genuinely interesting and valuable projects and highlighting them.
3. help others in ways that you can.

In the end 0.001% of this board understands the tech and designs at a level that can be useful to evaluate their true worth ... so probably just focus on preventing the vast array of scams that put off 99.99% of people because they lose money via such schemes.

Nothing will happen if you think negative about crypto so better to be always positive then move forward for me OP you are newbie only another thing base in your topic i think you need first to study to be knowledgeable about crypto investment and better to find real job then risk some money here don't give up you will learn this i'm sure about this,Moreover try first trusted coins/tokens here for investment like btc, eth, bch, ltc and nano

Yeah, that's true. It's better for us to be an optimist person here, don't have any negative thinking. And also don't be tired to keep learning and researching here, because we can not only sit and hope much profit comes, that's impossible. If the price of a coin is down, then we can hold it and wait for the price increases to sell it.

If you stop here just because you lose your enthusiasm due to being a newbie, you will lose even more because you have wasted the time you have invested with us all. Keep struggling and uplifting, and as soon as possible you can move up 1 rank higher than now. 8)

We all have ups and down in these forum. As a starter we are all eager to participate in almost all possible bounty campaign where are hoping to increase our Merit yet often we experienced bad things during the process.. One should not give up. Quiting is simply giving up. Nothing to achieved in Quiting... Learn more about the Crypto Currency, the market, all information about the Campaign and try to be careful, selective there by cutting down so much time wasted. Don't give up.

First question: To get merit points, you need decent posts. I think preferably in Meta and bitcoin discussion channels.
Second: For this market, to profit, you want to buy. Then wait until it goes up, you will sell.

Never quit yet, in life the are always ups and downs but in it all face it. If one of the thing you know to do is to first study about cryptocurrency and understand the whole Idea. after that, come back to bitcointalk, here you will be able to answer questions helpfully because of the knowledge you have about crypto and some persons whom you have help will willingly give you merit for it.

I know that I may not be the best source of advise when it comes to merit since me myself has only a few but then I would still advise to just continue posting quality post because as time goes by, you will be able to improve your post and someone will notice your posts. It seems that you got one already so just continue posting.

If you don't have motivation to continue then you may not be able to create quality post then. If you have another source of income then reserve a little amount and invest it in crypto until such time you will be able to accumulate it and wait for the right time to sell it.

Are you from one of those people who came into crypto because your friend told you its a get rich quick thing? Winklevoss got rich so can you?

Trust me nothing makes you rich very quickly except for hard work or when your luck works too hard. Dont quit , love crypto as a currency we'll go up, see it just for selling and buying, we go down.

What are your reason first why you joining crypto? That reasons above is always came from those person who really believes that if they enter in cryptoworld, they become rich in just a snap...
you cant become rich too quick, all you need is to work hard, be patience enough on what will happen in the market, always remember that falling market prices is very common problem in crypto, you need to trust that it will become stable in the future. Take it as a challenge to continue on what you are doing here, so that you can achieve your goals. Everythibgs has its perfect time, just trust and wait. :)

Erase the word quitting because it can make a bad decision to you and it gives a negative thinking. Just believe, this market situation will be over soon, just hold and wait for the time of markets recovery.
just hold it, multiply your assets by buying again, and then pray more, so that the market can move towards a better one. so make sure that you have invested in coins that have the potential to rise

I advice, don't give up. We are privileged to be able to know about cryptocurrency and the possible earning they can give us through trading and investing on good ICOs. There's a lot of people out there who wants to be taught and guided but no one can help them. Success is not earned in a short time but success is reached after many failures and disappointments. It can be a trial and error, more research, right project, and thorough learning before you can be an expert on this field. I myself feel low at times but I just keep going. The only mistake you'll ever do is stopping. Don't stop now.

This time around when the market price is low, and you have the rank of Jr. Member participation in bounty is very difficult because of that rank will receive very few skates and tokens. So you need to contribute more useful content to earn merit to upgrade account in the future.

There are two things you can do,
1. a quality post that is very useful for many people, of course it will get merrites.
2. You stop in the field of bounties and start a new step to invest, because with the current price up and down, you can continue to benefit if you are right in trading.

And for about the merit, creating a thread that has a good and have some informative helpful topics to gain merits.

Me too, felt also of quitting in Bitcoin because I'm just thinking that I can't get merit anymore considering that most of the members with higher ranks are giving their sendable merit to their new accounts or friends account and they are not observing the rules and may be this is one of the reason why some newbies are doing low quality post as they still can't receive merit from doing high quality posts.

Me too, felt also of quitting in Bitcoin because I'm just thinking that I can't get merit anymore
What!? Are you even serious with that? You will quit engaging with btc just because you can't get a single merit? You have a wrong belief my friend. Bitcoin is not all about here, this is only a forum discusiing crpto stuffs nothing more and nothing less. Your reason for quitting is very shallow, why don't you go outside and explore the market. Blockchain and Fintec field generally is the technology of the future. Now we live in the age where information is accessible for free. There are websites like Khan Academy, EDx, Coursera and many more. They provide opportunities for people that want to educate themselves. My primary advice would be to educate yourself, believe me when you will know how to analyze cryptomarkets and when you will learn some basic info about blockchain technology, you will see everything from different perspective. And i can understand you, the "rank issue" bothers many of us, nevertheless be constructive and knowledgeable when posting here.

I can feel you and I fully sympathize with the way things are happening in the world of cryptocurrency. I think it is safe to say that most if not all of us are actually disappointed since right now the picture is not that rosy and it is ironic that the market is looking for a positive signal outside of itself -- the approval of the ETF by SEC. We don't know for sure if there will be a bull run within this year or if 2019 can be a rosy year for cryptocurrency. However, I think the best thing to do is maybe not to fully leave cryptocurrency but to diversify our time and attention to other matters. And I think that should be our strategy here in order to not get wholly affected when one of our focus is not doing well...we should have out our brown eggs in many baskets as possible.

Cryptocurrency does not revolved around this site. There is still a lot of opportunities other than doing signature campaigns. Try other campaigns and look for projects outside and you can also invest in cheap altcoins that have the capability to grow in the future.

Yes. If you feel that cryptocurrency or earning are limited only in this site. You are wrong. Life doesn't just here in forum. Earning profits are all everywhere. Try to join on high ranked thread and take some opportunity to add idea on their thread, somehow they will read your commend if you got a one. Some high ranked here is generous when in comes of sending merit. So if you stay here in altcoins discussion section, you will stuck up and nothing will happen to you. Try to go in serious discussion or meta sometimes, but be sure that you post fact and some nice idea also.

Although sometimes it take a months before the market pump again, but I know in the end it will be fine. Quitting is for weak people because it means they can't face when there's a problem.

Giving up is never an option, and I perceive you had a meltdown when you got demoted to newbie status, now you have a merit now and obviously not from this topic you created. If you had given in to the prevailing circumstances, you wont have gotten it

Yes.Quitting should not be an option after you fall.Instead, strive more harder and learn to be more patient than it was.Creating quality posts will help you to get merit from others, just post the essential ones and avoid spamming.Or else,no one will dare to give you merits and you cannot participate anymore in bounties.

It is good to see that you have been able to get the merit you longed for. Despite this, it is not yet time to relax. The spirit now is to keep working until you are able to achieve your goals. You can try some good investments out. Aside investing into bitcoin, you can also invest into altcoins, such as ethereum, stellar, nem and others you might intend to research on. I will urge you not to quit.

I think that cryptoworld isn't build for someone who could easily quit, it needs anyone with strong will and not easily quitting. Since the market of cryptocurrency is always fluctuated, that ways a consistency is needed in order to be survive in this cryptocurrency world.

Do not lose hope even the price has no changes it was still not cross the peak price than before. Instead of in panic situation why not hold or buy some while the opportunity is present in the market. Many users are hoping on the recovery of btc so keep patience this time and quiting is not the solution.

Market situation really seems to be hopeless but is not. There are already signs of recovery and those things should boost our hope that the market will recover this year. We just have to wait until increase start soon. For now, focus on holding. Selling and quitting won't aid the profit loss but rather completely cut your losses and regret will be thing that will be earned.

you don't have to quit, but you could prioritize other things than to chase bounties if you find it difficult to rank up!
a regular job could give you income to invest in projects rather than investing your time into the bounties.
or, you could just do both at the same time, but seemingly that's not an option if you're considering quitting  ???

congratulations, you are back to jr member once again.  this is a good reason to start all over again.  regarding price falling, this cannot continue for a longer time.  i guess the time for correction and price bouncing up will be soon.  there are plenty of people who felt your way when bitcoin fell to 60 from 150.  look at where those holder and non-holders are now.

Cryptocurrency does not revolved around this site. There is still a lot of opportunities other than doing signature campaigns. Try other campaigns and look for projects outside and you can also invest in cheap altcoins that have the capability to grow in the future.

I believe in this statement. If you feel like falling down, just think that it is not the only way to grab an opportunities. There is a lot of ways other than campaigns, you can do mining and also try to invest in new altcoins.

Also stay strong man, bitcoin is the future. Like a lot of people mentioned, tons of investors got wrecked. Its good to educate your self on the market, and what cryptos have a chance. I feel like we are about to go bull, just look at market cycles. Be fearful when people are greedy, greedy when people are fearful. In my opinion these are the times to stack and accumulate a lot of good projects that are in the slums and will pump nicely.

Totally agree with you. It is very frustrating when I love this forum and my rank became a newbie again, feel hopeless and nothing working out. I too will love to know how to get merit points and improve my rank again.

As for the market, it is in the bear trend. Until the market sentiment changes it will be like this, but in my opinion cryptos will have the bull run as this technology is the future, this will come much sooner if some regulations come into place.

If you feel like quitting then quit. It's very simple, you shouldn't be working in an industry that makes you unhappy and isn't working out for you.

There are plenty of other lucrative industries you could get into like finance, development, design etc, if you're going to stick around, at least have a backup plan.

in some parts of this thread it provides merit points, but it has a condition, that you have to make posts or topics that are very high quality and positive for bitcoin users and this forum. New rules are indeed used to eliminate multiple accounts. then what to do when the market falls. if you hold a coin, then stay calm and don't panic. use to trade and make a little profit.

So the only way for you to get one is to try and compose more relevant topic that could attract someone that holds smerit and then merit you eventually, market price will soon recover but bear in mind that everything can go wrong from the beginning.

Sure . It's easy.

1- ignore all bounties
2- read mastering bitcoin from Andreas Antonopoulos
Available for free here
https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook/blob/develop/README.md

You will learn a lot about cryptocurrencies. You will be safer to invest and able to help people and get merits.

This I agree. The current situation of ranking system requiring merits have made us difficult to rank up. So if you are just starting, you should not rely on bounties anymore, instead, try investing. It doesnt need any rank at all but you have to risk money.

the only way to get merit is to make quality, useful posts, give good ideas about crypto and forums, and make new knowledge on crypto. because merit will be given in posts or topics that have quality weight. not only responding, but also gave the best advice to solve problems. for the market. I think just ignore it if you don't have coins or you buy at high prices. I believe it will rise again.

Two things: btc-talk ranking and crypto currency markets.

First, don't worry about btc-talk ranking.  Just be yourself, read the forums, and post things that you think are helpful to the community.  The rest will come over time of several years so don't be in a rush.

Second, if you never invest more than you need for food, shelter, clothing, etc then you will always have all the time in the world to recoup your investments.  For now, be prepared to wait as long as the year 2021 before you see a bull market again and even then don't expect it to last more than a few months.

If you want to quit after only a few months of being part of this market and this community then it is likely that the market of cryptocurrencies is not for you, I know that there are many people and ads that say that you can make a lot of money very rapidly in this market, but the truth is that anyone that has gotten some kind of success in this market did not became successful immediately, it took him years to be able to get any kind of success.

I know this is not something that many people want to hear but it is the truth, in order to become successful in this market or in any other activity that you may find worthy of trying you will need to be very patient and develop the skills necessary to become successful over the long term.

I do not find reasons to quit in crypto. In fact despite that crypto is still down, I find so many reasons to say in crypto. To tell you the truth it is not that easy to earn merit. It has to be given to you by others. Why others will give you merit ? Your post should be constructive. When the price is low, I am saving all the possible moneypr crypto that I cam save so that when time comes that market goes up, I get my additional profit.

Cryptocurrency does not revolved around this site. There is still a lot of opportunities other than doing signature campaigns. Try other campaigns and look for projects outside and you can also invest in cheap altcoins that have the capability to grow in the future.
Signaturrs campaign is a great way of earning, yes, it really needs a time to allocate what is in need but in every project happens a good result is coming up to stand for it. For sure in the near future cryptocurrency will work smoothly in the world as a source of income.

Well, this year is the worst year for cryptocurrency because since january the crypto price is falling down until now. Our only choice is holding or trade it your tokens. I hope the market start recovery soon. About the merit points, the only way to get merits is make a good and constructive post.

A real investor never act like what you have done, lol  ;) Anyway, I would recommend to have more knowledge on the crypto market and only then invest.

Like some people already pointed to you, you can do social network campaigns and translations if you can and get chosen(that one is more tricky) and earn that way.

It's easy to be in the forums since years relaxed and say that the merit system is easy, but the fact is that people only gives 1-3merits even if you try hard. With very few exceptions. Some are in fact really picky also.

However, getting to member is not that hard it only takes time. Learn to write better and you can do it, of course it's harder to persist when you're not seeing reward for your effort.

Just be patient and keep persevering, with the rank of the forum, the only thing I tell you is that try to put quality instead of quantity, at first is difficult to get merit, can take you up to 10 post quality, but if you really contribute to a conversation, you can quickly climb up without even noticing.

You know what they say, “If you feel like quitting, think about why you started.” You may be facing failure right now but with determination, it’ll surely go down to success. In order for you to get merit, always post something that is meaningful and related. Do not post something that is unrelated or offensive. To have updates regarding about the market, always check here in the forum about topics related market prices or visit websites that observes the market price every minute.

Quitters never win! Don't give up! If you believe in crypto, you will make it here. You only need to step up your game and things may turn around for good.
Write good and quality post to get merit, but merit shouldn't poss a serious problem though since you can still participate in content creation and others with a newbie rank. I think the right knowledge and mindset is needed to pursue and achieve your goals. Cheers!!!

In general, the occupation of cryptocurrency, whether it is an investment or a bounty, implies different problems. At the forum, many are now faced with a problem, and they need to be overcome and continue to work. Similarly, with the market - you have two choices: either finish or continue to work

Well the new rank requirement was a great way to keep the forum clean of spammers who are just here to make what they can take from this great forum without any contributions to the growth and development of this community and the only way to gain merit is by making constructive and helpful post and any one who found your post helpful will award merit to it. And on the market price since cryptocurrency is a highly volatile network it depends on the flows of demands for the commodity in other to affect it price, the best thing to do in this regards is to hold your assets till you see the market recovering again.

Yes, many users are looking forward on how to get a merit. If you want to earn merit then you have to make a quality post which can help most of the people to get a deep understanding about the topic. It's just the beginning of crypto to be well known by people it's not a good idea to quit in this type of investment because this is the path to earn much more profit due to it's uncontrolled market. One of the biggest attractive in crypto is we can earn money without investment capital it only require your opinions to post in desired topic for earning a reward. For me, it's a biggest mistake to quit directly.

The market condition is pretty bad. Most crypto investors who bought tokens at all time high during the bull run are running at loss now. Its very painful. But there is a wise saying which goes like this "every opportunity is a blessing" so use this opportunity with funds you can afford to loss and invest in good projects that are at there lowest bottom any wait for the market to turn green. But there is a wise saying which goes like this "every opportunity is a blessing" so use this opportunity with funds you can afford to loss and invest in good projects that are at there lowest bottom any wait for the market to turn green. We will all smile again ;D
You say to invest as much as you can lose. This is rule number 1. I think that the tokens that have only appeared on the stock exchange this month can make a profit.

there are many ways we can do to get profit in crypto, especially in Bounty. we can do several things at once and if the project you follow runs smoothly then you will get lots of tokens that are comparable to your business or your hard work. The important thing is we don't stop trying.

It's a pity that you are not achieving your goal, though market condition is the one of the reasons why the prices of the coins are still down but if you want to achieve your goal here on bounty your Jr member account won't be enough to do that, so you have work more hard by doing content creation and translation so that you will earn more money to achieve your goal.

Does your rank prevent you from reading and writing messages? Or do you want to participate in bounty campaigns? The forum administration has long said that the forum was created to discuss Bitcoin, everything else is a by-product. Therefore, no one will regret the departure of people who are interested only in earnings on bounty campaigns.

Is your purpose to make merit and profit while the market is unstable as the present? This is one of the most popular questions asked by newbie on this forum. And it would help if you remembered that only hard work and quality content contribute to the merit. Moreover, to make a profit in the current situation, the only way is to engage in bounty campaigns.

to get merit is not easy, you can take part in social media campaigns or create articles, there is still something you can do with it without stopping your activities.
Sharing informative articles and ideas in this forum can help to have merit points, though it is really hard to gain that, much harder than to find good project that really pays you. Quitting is not an option, you just have yo build up your skills because there are many ways to earn aside from signature campaigns that do not require merit to qualify you.

I would not give up and would not be stopped by setbacks. There will be setbacks again and again, but we must not give up. I continue to follow my plan to buy as many coins as i can, as long as the prices are low. In addition, i will continue to participate in bounties to increase my stock on coins.

Yes, merit is not easy to get though we need to be diligent in our work here in this forum and most important that others will appreciate our work so that they will the one who can give us the merit that we need, I think if we feel like quitting because of the current market situation plus a lot of scam ICO that doesn't pay for our work then it still the decision is yours, there are still many ways how to earn on this crypto world for bounty campaign is just only a part of many activities here in crypto currency.

Every low is a new entry point in crypto for the top coins. It’s been shown, time and time again to be stabilizing at a new high after every peak and rest.

As a newbie who keeps getting posts deleted without explanation I’ll agree it’s been frustrating being involved on this site. Presumably it will get better with better quality posts though it does almost seem sometimes like a bot blocking as totally unrelated posts on different threads of varying seriousness and relevance will be flagged at the same time. (Posting too quickly from previously loaded tabs? No idea. That’s just how I work.)

The bounties sound fun and so many ico’s to jump in on. Just diversify your investments - and focus on tried and true BTC to bring funds home to.

Only a successful investment in a promising project can save you from critical losses amid a general fall in the price of tokens. The price of almost everything has fallen very much and it is possible with a successful investment not only to save money but also to earn.

Try to improve your posts, however, people here in this forum doesn't care about giving merits anymore. Try to learn how to trade, that way you can earn some profit while bounty hunting. Trading can provide you income while bounty hunting. Good luck, just be patient.

Based on the fact that you already have merits and you have received a new rank -  you do not need to tell that  need to create useful posts and messages to get merits. As for how to act on the cryptocurrency market when prices are low, then each person has his own strategy, but the main thing is not to sell your coins at low prices and wait for the trend to change.

Often there comes a time when it seems that you need to leave the cryptocurrency market, because the desired result is very difficult to achieve, especially for beginners. But do not despair, you should try to get additional knowledge, get advice from knowledgeable people. Everyone makes mistakes, and the more experience there is, the less mistakes there will be. In any case, it seems to me that there is no need to leave the market at the first failures, but to believe in success and he will definitely come!

I understand and really understand the decision of some people who prefer to leave crypto. The current crypto situation is indeed enough to test patience and make many people disappointed. They have run out of patience and lost interest in waiting for the recovery of crypto that never happened. For some people, they will also argue that surviving is a better decision and by utilizing the opportunity of crypto today to hunt lots of coins.

I would disagree. To gain merit, it's not enough just to post in a helpful or constructive manner. You would also need to post a lot in other sections of the forum. The altcoins section is a bit of a merit desert. Merit sources tend to be the people who have been around for years, and tend to be more interested in bitcoin than in alts... and so tend to post outside the altcoins section.

I think that during long bearish periods cryto market splits men from children. During bullish periods is much easier, everyone is an expert, you can invest in every single sh*t coin (ex: Dogecoin) and still have a nice profit.

When market is red things get nore complicated, you need nore knowledge, patience, some trading abilities if you want to survive.

Not a few people shouted that way, they felt they had to stop right now because crypto had been paralyzed. The level of knowledge of each individual is different, for seniors may have confidence in the return of the crypto market to flourish, sometime later. Because to grow on its own, crypto cannot be predicted, but crypto also does not require a short time.

everyone is free to express and free to make choices, everyone wants the best for themselves. indeed the future nobody knows and predicts is not necessarily true so just do what you have to do. In my opinion Crypto can still be profitable if we can take the good side and use opportunities well and of course we must patiently run and wait for the results.

I think its not about greed because what matters most is the market situation, I know there are many people who got frustrated most likely in doing bounty that always have not compensated at the end, but you have the point that still there are ways to gain little profit despite of this bear market and whaymt we have to do is to discover our own way of at ease.
