Crypto is a very good business that can highly profit whoever participate in it with sets goals and determination. It is when you set goals for yourself that you will be able to know when to hold and when to sell. Don't just do crypto with no target of making wholesome profit. I have realized that it those who set goals that will keep moving  even when the road is rough. Set goals that will discipline you in your crypto activities and ginger you toward success in it.

It is good to set goal and any serious goal should be time specific but how will you set goal for something that you don't have power to control

Others that I've met online doesn't have any goals of being into crypto. They are only into profit which is basic for everyone but they are in a hurry. You are very right, i have seen most of crypto investors missing out of big gains due to greed in the last big bull run including me, now i think we should set a target to take profit and withdraw some amounts as with the extended downtrend it seems months without salary, as most of the investors are stuck with their portfolio down by 7 to 8x and now they are waiting for serious recovery in the market.

In the last December, I made a decent profit from the ETH, Because I have to good goal and daily trade but after that holding leads to just my portfolio down and down. Still, many times goal perception does not lead to success even luck also play a big role.

This is so true.. When I started cryptocurrency, I knew I wasn't going to be a short term trader. I opted for the long term principle of holding while I learnt the ropes of everything cryptocurrency. Sometimes setting goals in crypto is not advisable, am actually saying this from a trader point of view. For instance if a trader decide to sell a coin at 30% and the coin got to 20% then if the coin later dropped to -30% then the goal set by the trader made him/her to lose the $20 profit. Pretty much true I guess. With the crypto currency you can always have huge money back over your investment however we must set some goals up ahead. Most of the people are just popping into the crypto and buying some coins which are random selections of their own without even studying them. I guess such coins becomes their enemies later as they realise they invested in wrong coin.
So what they can do is set few goals here. These goals should step by step include choosing of their coins they have studied properly. Ask for opinion about it to their friends if they are crypto based. Then make investment into it. Once done, they should set higher goals, like waiting for the price of that coin to become XYZ and only then they will sell it otherwise they will keep holding it. If they go like this then surely one can set good life and business out of it.

For me personally at this time I was very excited about finding as much Bitcoin as possible. I'm not a hypocrite or a liar, because I'm sure the price of Bitcoin will continue to increase in the future. So my goal at this time is to be passionate about working in the world of Cryptocurrency.

The market sets goals, not me. I cannot in any way influence the general state of the market, the market trends, therefore the market controls me. What is left to do? Just wait or try to trade daily, but this is not a risky business for me, especially in such an unstable market.

Setting goals is very important and I just realize this when I lost half of my investment as I bought a lot of coins during the peak period in January and from there I just hodl while the market was on a downward spiral. I ended up losing 50% of my investment as I decided to sell some of them as I can no longer watch my investment die from the never-ending downward trend.
