A few characteristics :

Maximum supply : 84 000 000 ( 4 times bitcoin max supply of 21 000 000 )
Block time target : 3 minutes ( It WILL be much faster at first )
Mined block confirmations : 101
Transaction minimum confirmations : 2 ( so 6 minutes transactions confirmations when mainnet will stabilize)
About  1400 blocks have been pre-mined for the dev team ( 0.08 % of max supply only )
Difficulty adjusted every 4800 blocks
Block reward is 50 ElectroCoins

Example configuration to mine on official pool with minerd  :

minerd -o stratum+tcp://"pool stratum address here":3333 -u "your electrocoin address here" -p x




To mine solo :

Launch electrocoin-qt       ( with server=1 in electrocoin.conf which is in %USER%/AppData/Roaming/Electrocoin/ )
or electrocoind and then :

minerd -o 127.0.0.1:9753 -u darius -p rucker --coinbase-addr="your electrocoin address here... it must be linked to local wallet!"


As you can see the port  ( for solo mining ) for the local RPC server is 9753 by default.

You lack a lot of important information about your currency, apart from being a very basic project, how many coins with scrypt algo are here? When do you plan to have a roadmap even?

i am mining this coin i receive payment .

What is the need to make an electrocash fork only 3 days after its launch and with only those small changes? Basically it is the same currency only a few parameters change. Greetings.

The need was there because Electrocash's difficulty increase was extremely slow.

Main server is down for maintenance, building a block explorer broke the pool server.

Had a problem with node.js versions incompatibility between the pool server and the blockchain explorer. I will put them on two different servers. Should be available by the end of the day. ( Eastern time )

What are your plans to ensure that the lifespan of your coin will be longer than most others?
There's no unique feature that you can boast of.

The above mission will only be true if this coin will be available to so many exchanges, in order for a user to convert your coin into something useful like their fiat currency.
If not, even someone that owns this coin in another side of the world will be deemed this as useless. Where can he use your coins? Just keeping this in his wallet will not magically give him food. Be reasonable at least.
Bitcoin and other popular altcoins already accomplished your objective. Though there are still hiccups, but people already trust the usage of BTC & those other altcoins.

Well that's because it can be mined with ASICs. Computers or GPUs won't be of much help....

If you want a stable network you must setup a pool who accepts lower spec equipment. Now runs the whole network on 3 users, why should someone use his pricey
equipment to mine a new coin....

Low spec users are waiting for new coins to mine.... and if someone uses his best equipment and this coin will be on an exchange they dump there coins and Electocoin is dead.

The problem is, if I list it now, since the top 3 holders have like 90 % of the available coins right now..... coin is probably gonna crash and value close to nothing. But since there are also legit people who mined it less ( not saying the top holders are not legit.... they ARE absolutely legit ! ) ……. we still plan to list in on exchanges.

An announcement by the exchange will be made here on bitcointalk.org when it will be listed. I can't say when this will be done as it would be unethical.

It will be the same for low spec miners. It doesn't mean that low spec requirement equals HODL, quite the opposite actually.

Best to cater to all available and interested miners to allow better network hashrate and network stability.

What about your first coin Electrocash? That was more fairly mined and yet you just abandoned it without warning. Those were legit miners yet you don't seem to care about the time and energy they wasted on your first coin. If you decide to compensate us I will change my mind but until then you should forget about releasing coins until you know how to implement an algo without ASICs. Also don't waste your time or money on an exchange for this because it's always the same people like olkah who mine tons of coins at launch and immediately dump.
