Everyone on this forum is familiar with Bitcoin and Blockchain technology.So no need to discuss what they are except this; Bitcoin is first or we can say father of digital currency world and Blockchain is new revolution in digital technology world.
Currently market is down after a golden run and every day millions of people came to know about this new market and its uses.Some with negative views and some advocate it.Many country allowed crypto trading and many banned because of speculations and scams.There is lots of media attention about Bitcoin since its evolution and then its price rise.Many called Bitcoin a shit/fraud/scam when first it came into light but within 7-8years it touched $20000 per coin.
On other hand many new Altcoins like ETH, Ripple etc. also gain popularity and boost the need of blockchain in every filed.Now from media news and discussion on many forum I came to conclusion that everyone(Govt. big business houses) wants to adopt Blockchain technology but same time they are either opposing or banning Bitcoin and its uses.So my question is will Bitcoin survive or fall???What will happen if every country launch their own crypto currency using Blockchain technology???Will Bitcoin disappear???Please share your views/opinions and experience.

I'm not sure for Bitcoin but blockchain technology will certainly be more and more present in the future, its advantages are not measurable.

Both I think, because they do different things like payment and get the right documents approved by others involved like notaty stuff. Of course they are a part of same thing in BTC because it runs on its blockchain that is basically a distributed ledger and anyone can download it and keep it offline or onlime so help the nodes to be active so it requirew a big amount of effort to broke the all nodes and try to switch to a new blockchain.

it is like asking which one would survive longer, cars or combustion engines! bitcoin is based on blockchain technology and it is the one that introduced it to the world. bitcoin is also the one that is improving this technology and as the technology grows bitcoin grows and vice versa. they are not separate, they are one thing.

Bitcoin is the connected chain of blockchain technology and all the crypto are existed because of blockchain technology and it is just like platform which is controlling the activities of bitcoin and crypto and these currencies will exist forever and some time the market will show tough movement but at all the bitcoin is survived.

I think OP is confused as Bitcoin is based on Blockchain technology so it means that both are connected and not separate. Ya but Blockchain technology can be used in other field also and in coming years you can see lot of infrastructure will be using blockchain technology for their product

Can you tell me if suppose all countries of world( As many of them either planning or working on it) launch their own National digital currencies like USA launch a digital dollar, Indian launch digital rupees etc using blockchain technology and ban use of Bitcoin.Still Bitcoin survive or grow without its demand and use.

Idk if I understand you exactly but you're trying to ask if bitcoin will survive without blockchain? I think it's too obvious to answer that since we knew these two works together and bitcoin depends on the underlying technology on what blockchain have.
So the epoch of blockchain has been born and people see the potential of it and how it can change one thing, and now everything that we can think of can now put on the blockchain.

Not at all but some country like Iran ban the use of any crypto currency since they will launch their own. Likely, bitcoin won't just die because of that.

Bitcoin will not disappear but will stand as a foreign cryptocurrency just like we have some fiat being a standard of measure to other countries currencies.



That is why they will also develop there own coin because it will become a means of utility. Having a blockchain means having your own privacy which is what government wants.

With the help of the block system it will be possible to introduce new crypto-currencies, store any kinds of information, and also control the use of intellectual property. All this makes the possibility of using the mechanism of blocking in the future very promising and almost endless.

in case of bitcoin, as I said it is unique. if a government adopts the blockchain technology, they will be creating a centralized coin (like Venezuelan Petro) nobody cares about a centralized altcoin and it certainly won't even affect bitcoin's adoption or even its survival.

It's like separating the brain from a human body but Blockchain technology can be used in many many ways and not just for crypto currencies such as Bitcoin. I have read some article about the Blockchain technology and its future uses such as determining a fake and a genuine medicine with the help of this technology that was created by none other by the legendary "Satoshi Nakamoto" way back on 2008, this guy or whoever he is, he is a real genius and his invention will surely be more useful in the future. 8)

Bitcoin is blockchain. It is impossible that bitcoin will be forget and blockchain will be still running. Bitcoin can't be replaced, so if blockchain will be used, than also bitcoin will be alive.

IF every country launches their own cryptocurrency (that's a big if), the most likely scenario is Bitcoin become the next gold. Really. If the governments somehow have the urgency to change their fiat to crypto, that means they believe in the blockchain, the logical consequence is all countries would be competing to reserve Bitcoin as much as they could, just how they did with gold before fiat become popular. There could be a possibility that they peg their crypto to Bitcoin too, confirming Bitcoin as the digital gold.

I'm hoping that they both stay for good, the government saw the positive side of blockchain but not Bitcoin, they consider Bitcoin as high-risk investment and they treat blockchain as something they can use in many ways in their government agency or integrate it in their system of governance.

It's a very complicated question, and chances are the fate of btc will be based on its profitability. Also, it's quite hard to imagine that authorities need an instrument that they can't control. So, at the start stage that we are now at, it's almost impossible to predict the future movements. As for blockchains, they will survive and used at least in the areas when they really help and don't interfere with anyone interests.

Media news on TV depends from the government here in my country. They show the work of government only from positive side and totally represent the government's opinion on things and processes. They mention crypto pretty often and I can conclude that they still count it as a project which is going to fail one day. But about Blockchain they say very good things, so from that I can suppose that Blockchain will involved in more and more kind of business and processes, but crypto and people's earnings are going to be taxed to bring more money in wallet's of politicians.

Nobody can tell you whether bitcoin will actually survive or not or whether something else will come along that is better to replace it, but I can tell you with an almost certainty there will likely always be one form of decentralized currency whether that is bitcoin or not. Maybe think of bitcoin like a prototype. The first car or airplane was just a basic model and they have both obviously gone through constant evolution and models to get to the designs we have now.

We already have multiple cryptos that have tried to improve upon or add additional features to bitcoin's design. Who knows what cryptocurrency will look like in the future and some new model may come along that blows bitcoin out of the water in every aspect and that is something we as investors and users have to seriously consider.

My opinion is that Bitcoin will last but it will have to struggle a lot to survive negative criticism and the current market. i think the main objective of satoshi bitcoin founder is not bitcoin supremacy over other coin, but to make people realise that it is possible to adopt digital transactions without dealing with cash, now for your question about bitcoin survival, it doesn't really matter if bitcoin got banned, or not but what's important is that digital transactions are here to stay with or without bitcoin.

It is important that this new invovation that is crypto must continue. The Blockchaine offers us so much opportunity, we are only at the beginning of the fase first. First you have asked whether bitcoin or blockchain would survive and now you are asking that whether Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies issued by governments would survive. Even if there is government support for the government issued cryptocurrencies, still they are centralized and they don't deliver any financial freedom and also they would not deliver any huge earning opportunities for its users just like what bitcoin gives to its holders.So bitcoin would still survive.

I am sure that blockchain is here to stay but it is just a vehicle and it needs the fuel for sustainable growth. I believe that cryptocurrencies work as the fuel for blockchain based systems. As of now, Bitcoin has no thread of existence by any other external factors but Bitcoin is the only thing that could destroy itself. We can't say that Bitcoin is a product out of the Blockchain since there are a lot of other digital currencies that is made before Bitcoin and Blockchain is the solution of Satoshi Nakamoto to stop the double spending of this digital currency.

How did you say bitcoin has no future. In crypto platform both are survive in forever so don't underestimate the Bitcoin potential. If you really believe the blockchain technology you should think how it will open up in the market. All the crypto investors holding the Bitcoin for long term so it will never died in future. Blockchain technology would exist even though bitcoin would not exist because the technology is applicable to all cryptocurrencies while bitcoin is just one of the product of blockchain technology. Bitcoin is based on the blockchain technology it complement to it's other and the result is great. Blockchain technology is not that popular or I think even known to almost anyone without the existence of Bitcoin. If we are talking about survival I think blockchain will make it that long though Bitcoin undergoes a lot of enhancements too but I am still hoping that both will prevail as we all know that when there's a beginning there is also an end and we don't know when.

Why do people keep asking the same question every time? The answer has always been a big "NO". We all know what is going to happen when a country launches its own crypto currency. It won't be decentralized. It won't have any anonymity features. It will same as fiat but more like "digital fiat". Bitcoin won't be disappearing anytime soon as long as people are using it.

Blockchain is definitely the future and there are motives to why some countries decide to ban the cryptocurrency , an example will be Venezuela which forbade and cracked down on cryptocurrencies in their country and later they developed their own coin.

Bitcoin and blockchain technology are barely inseparable. Bitcoin being the first cryptocurrency to be launched has really propelled blockchain technology to a greater height. We can't say blockchain technology would develop rapidly leaving behind bitcoin. Bitcoin is the main driving force behind cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology as a whole.

Both will be there. You should rephrase the question into: "which one will be more significant". I think that, despite those blockchain preachers, Bitcoin will be more significant. Bitcoin is part of the blockchain and it's not blockchain part of bitcoin. The Blockchain can function and be used by everyone who adopts it without them adopting bitcoin, but bitcoin doesn't work anything at all without the blockchain. I agree with you on this. Personally I think that the introduction of Bitcoin led to the introduction of blockchain as well.  So separating both of them doesn't seem ideal and therefore if any one of them will survive in the long run,  then both of them,  technically speaking will survive as well.

Additionally,  Blockchain can be seen as the fuel to bitcoin.  It runs and powers Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is just a currency that is based on blockchain and if they were separated,  then blockchain will last longer because it has proven itself to be the basis on which trustless transactions,  anonymity,  borderless transactions,  low-cost for payments and fast transactions has thrived.  Its use-cases are endless and so it's bound to last longer.

Bitcoin and few top cryptocurrencies will be there in future as well, the price may vary, but completely losing it from the society is not possible. Cryptography is a very good prospect in the future, thus cryptocurrencies and blockchain will be there, and Bitcoin is the very first, people won't let it die.

They will both survive in this world. blockchain will be use more in different businesses while bitcoin will be use as currency more often.
