Well so far cryptocurrency has done amazingly it's has revolutionalize the way transactions are done. And it has cut a lot of lapses that banking system has. Bitcoin been the king of cryptocurrency with it hit market cap and volume is the most wanted coin right now well prediction can be deceiving but what are your expectations about cryptocurrency

The good coins (EThereum, Bitcoin) will increase in value while shitcoins like dogecoin will crash  to zero.

That newbies will at least have the common decency to spam the right boards. Meta is for discussion about the forum only.

The first thing comes to mind is to have a good long bull run. But we are in Meta section of the forum so in relation to this I say to find a better way than merit system to reward deserving forum posts.

What I want to expect is about legality and getting a good place for cryptocurrency, especially for Bitcoin, by not expecting to spread the negative things about Bitcoin that I hope for, because everyone's prices are just predictions as time goes on will affect the sustainability of prices the better in the future , maybe by law we can see cleaner and safer market movements for everyone, and get rid of profits and greed instantly, anything that can be done is not easy, it takes a long time to repeat like last year.

I think that we will see the whole market cap doubled and that a big part of the coins in the top 100 will change. Only the best projects will survive and will see 2020.

By 2020 I think 1 or more cryptocurrencies will have gone mainstream, if they haven't by then I suspect that it will be hard for them to ever do so and the prices will probably take quite a tank. People are quickly understanding the benefits and potential and so I suspect the breakthrough to come soon.

2020 halving will come for bitcoin so its impact not only for it but for the whole crypto market will be expected to be positive. If we will base the graphs on the past years, there's an increasing volume for the demand and orders on exchanges which will give significant effect by that year. And by that year, many are expecting one popular person to fail with his prediction and will do the consequence.

Hype coins like Doge or Cryptokitties will eventually die off I think. But cryptos that potentially can used in real life like BTC, ETH, RIPPLE, DASHCOIN & LTC will for sure dominate a big portion of the crypto industry pie.

Crypto in 2020 will certainly have good and strong value, moreover, the value of bitcoin and eth, as well as for other coins that have potential.

Yes, I also saw it. Same as last year, bitcoin experienced halving and immediately reached its peak at the end of the year until the beginning of 2018. But I see the history of the graph that the increase in the market always occurs when halving bitcoin occurs. I hope that the same event can be repeated again in 2020 and we still have plenty of time to prepare it for the better in 2020.

We can expect and hope for the same movement by that time but as of now, there's more to go for the market.

As  I expect that something good will happen on 2020, we have to face this year first and 2019. That's the more challenging part as a holder and on how long others can take to hold up until the end of 2019. But I'm having that confidence that by 2020 we'll see greater runs.

He was talking about the possibility that will be happened in 2020. In 2020 bitcoin has another halving time and that will give a lot of value to the bitcoin because the difficulty of bitcoin mining will have doubled and i will try to predict 2020 will be the same as the last year dude.

Halving always have a good effect on Bitcoin, when all are mined I guess miners will still keep mining with good profit when prices spikes while adoption and ETF approval had pass the time of speculation. ALL of us expects adoption which will result to prices going up. Merchants accepting BTC all over the town, finance institutions also joining the blockchain. NASDAQ also considering crypto and so on. By the time all these will happen I can probably rest and not worry about selling and buying back which sometime I get burned.

If the current state of scamming through icos and new projects continue I think it is not going to be better then than now.  People are not going to investing Into it in future if the scamming is allow to continue going on.  In 2020 we should expect a very serious breakout that should push bitcoin above $100,000.

This is the same I thing about how would the market be in 2020. So many people cry about he down market today but it has in one way reduced and thrown out the fake fraud coins and ico that initially tried to make money just by outwitting people of their hard work earnings.

If we look at the market now, we have just few great names on the list and going with these coins, the future might be more than boomed. In 2020, maybe investors will be wiser. I hope that people will only support cryptocurrencies with real use and purpose. We all want it to see cryptocurrencies being adopted worldwide and no country will ban it. But sadly, we can't have that type of world that we are thinking because not every country has the same vision and opinion on what crypto's can bring to them. Government is centralized while crypto's aren't so its unlikely that we will see it as local currency but its possible that we may see it as accepted as payment everywhere.

I don't want expectations because i want predictions. I'm good at math, using standard deviation formula or linear regression in statistics, I can predict those and gain huge profit.

No one can definitely point out on what would possibly happen on year 2020.It would be more good to talk about on what would possibly happen on next year 2019.Basing on the performance of cryptomarket of this year.We are already on the last quarter but still we are on the brink of stabilization of prices came from ATH's on last years prices. Im gonna speculate things about cryptocurrency in the year 2020, well I guess most countries will accept bitcoin as a mode for payment and not just a digital currency. Also a lot of company will establish a way so that bitcoin can be included in any transactions or payment in their own. With these improvements, cryptocurrency will grew more and maybe the crypto market will be less volatile as years goes on.

What is happening in 2018 is a big wake up call to the whole cryptocurrency community and the big lesson is quite clear: what happened in 2017 was due largely to overheating of speculations coming from all sides and when this whole things subsided in 2018 we experienced the kind of market lethargy which push many investors and hodlers to abandon their interest with cryptocurrency. With lesser market speculations, everything became bearish. I am then hoping that 2018 and 2020 can different years for cryptocurrency but given what is happening right now I better lower my expectations so I would not be disappointed that much and can be surprised in case something good will explode into the scene. i am then hoping also that finally we can have the ETF approved by SEC as this can clear up for more growth and opportunities of the whole cryptocurrency market.

I think you chose the year 2020 correctly. This is the year when the reward for miners will be even 2 times less. This year promises to be very profitable for the entire cryptoindustry. But now, market is hunting for weak hands.

Actually, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is already popular in many places but there are some places that cryptocurrency is prohibited. I hope cryptocurrency at 2020 will be more stronger and have a expensive value.

I am expecting a great bullish market in 2020 which is about a year plus as from today.  Bitcoin may go as high as $50,000 in 2020. We are not going to have bad days if you can buy bitcoin now that the market is down and not only bitcoin but other cryptocurrencies that do very well last year.

That is actually enough time indeed to expect the best to happen. I am sure by then we should have already started getting close to mainstream adoption and there would have been huge development in the crypto sphere. My expectation about the future of Bitcoin in 2020 is some what positive. The technology would have expanded thereby enhancing the features of the Bitcoin as well. The rise in the demand will contribute to the rise in the price as well and the market would have returned or recovered as well.

I think that coins will be used in real life as well and the most progressive countries will provide it like a second currency. What about coins on the market - it can`t be predicted what will happen.

Only crypto currencies accepted in these shop is my expectation about the crypto currencies but I doubt that it will happen because we still not yeat ready for the payment system with bitcoin even if not happen in 2020 surely it will happen in 2030.

In my opinion, the cryptocurrency in 2020 will make the good base in world economic system. In two years it will be, I think.

My expectations for the year of 2020 are relatively simple, I really think that by that time the market will still be in a similar condition to the one that we are seeing right now, and after the halving we are going to begin to see a slow recovery that is going to get stronger by the end of that year and by the year of 2021 we are going to see a new bull market.

Many experts predict a stable growth of the cryptocurrency market only from 2019, and today many investors sold their cryptocurrency to stabilize their real business.

Slow or gradual pace of price increase would be much prefer than on seeing price shoots out in a short period of time. By that year i do see that only strong projects or potential ones will really stay and shitcoins or useless coins will surely die gradually. I think the same as you, the crypto in the top 20 in the cryptocurrency market will exist for so long and the exchange rate will increase over time, while most of the altcoins are not potential, I hope the exchange rate will be more and more down and deindexed from exchange floors to yield to other potential altcoins.

My expectations about Cryptocurrency at 2020 much will change. For example, a large number of coins will die. Remain only competitively capable and certainly bitcoin which will be very appreciated and cost about $ 60,000.

We are expecting so much changes related to crypto currencies, but i hope that theses changes will be in crypto currencies favour. In fact still most of the people do not have enough knowledge about bitcoin and other crypto currencies, but now we can see that people are getting informed from crypto currencies and they are giving very good responses, therefore i am hopeful that crypto currencies have very good and bright future.

Most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

don't hesitate and we have to prepare it, of course 2020 is a very long time for the crypto world to do growth. indeed, 2018 is the worst year for Crypto. but I am sure that after 2018 it will end and it will change years, crypto will definitely surprise us all. wait and see what will happen.

I really hope a lot for cryptocurrency. In the future, let's say in 2020, cryptocurrency has to be a payment instrument that is commonly used by the public. I have stated it many times already, but I personally think that the things will go like this:

2018: Nothing will really happen, stagnation and top 100 coins have frequent small fluctuations.
2019: Things will stay the same or fall even lower, wider public (everyday people) have forgotten crypto
2020: Market will start a steady climb, green days are more common than red. Some interest returns
2020 second half: Wider interest, new stronger climb

My expectations for cryptocurrencies by that year are limited, many times in the forum people get very excited about the potential of cryptocurrencies and I cannot blame them but at the same time we need to be more careful with our predictions, because if you predict that cryptocurrencies are going to reach a huge price and then it doesn't happen it is quite likely that you will be disappointed and you could sell your coins for that reason.

I don't have any expectations about cryptocurrency in 2020 because it's too long for me to imagine something that I don't know. But I've got a feeling that cryptocurrency will grow especially in the next year and I hope that in the next year, the mass adoption will start rising to reach more people to join in the cryptocurrency. It is normal to see a lot of coins to have actually increased in value after a while, since this is something that is generally possible when it comes to the market. 2020 is about 2 years from now and I believe a lot would have changed positively when it comes to development before then and possibly we might have started seeing chances of big opportunities in the long run before that time happens. My expectations at 2020, cryptocurrency will increase, people use crypto for their daily life, cryptocurrency can grow fast. In that year, I hope that all country can accept cryptocurrency and make it as a legal.

Currently Bitcoin still has not received official recognition from several countries. in 2020 the hope is that Bitcoin or crypto currencies get recognition from every country because it will attract more people to adopt Bitcoin so that it will affect the price of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will become scarce and the price we go off the roof because of demands!  As more people use Cryptocurrency,  the Cryptocurrency ecosystem will be forced to grow and develop and many existing payment problems will be easily be solved!

Slowly there's been good progress on crypto technology. By 2020 it is expected that nearly everything becomes digital including payment systems as internet plays bigger role on peoples everyday lives..

I disagree, we are still going to see prices similar by then and the level of adoption will be similar as well, it is not until the next bull market when we are going to see the market of cryptocurrencies gaining value and even more important gaining acceptance through the world and people will begin to accept cryptocurrencies as a way of payment especially since the LN should be activated by then.

For the next few years bitcoin will still dominate and Ethereum will still be the top altcoin. and I think prices and market conditions will
be much better than this year. yeah I think that this year might be the worst. because there are no significant changes price. and I hope 2020 ETF already approved

In the future, e-money will grow, but I think the market will mend holes that investors are spending money on, which means that the market will be more difficult, but we Please raise your level. Thus, there are opportunities to earn income from the market.

It will never happen, Even with LN and it will not change the situation in the crypto, Merchant has a lot of problem to adopt crypto due to the volatility. As far as i know so many people have tried to found the way to this problem and they are still fail. I don't recognize crypto to be adopted by merchants in a short time.

We've got VISA card through crypto and what's more to come? mass adoption is what we are looking for by 2020 and so on.

Expect that there will be a mass adoption coming and block rewards will increase that going to lead mining difficulty increase which means value and price will follow.

the hope is that it is acceptable for people all over the world that now revolutionizing it is time to move forward where a system that is not centralized and transactions between users without intermediaries is much better

Such thing is impossible to be accurate for sure. What proves this is the scenario this year. Last year was jndeed a huge year which made the people expect that this year would be a bigger one but turned out to be the opposite of what was expected. The main point is that there is no consistency when it comes on market behavior so unfortunate scenarios should also be expected.

Since there are many things that could possible happen within two years of time from now, I won't be expecting that the next two years will be in favor with our expectations and plans with regards on the market itself. Ofcourse, there will also be times when problems will suddenly arise such as what happened this year. Just prioritize patience and nothing would go wrong no matter how bad the market gets in the future.

With a bit of luck, only 20 or some will actually be worth anything and all the crap will be zero. This is an inevitability and I am glad a lot of projects failed in this market- this market is a real test of a projects offering

Crypto is changing so rapidly, it will improve a lot til 2020 in my prediction, and also will see much higher prices too. And more reglations of course, which is inevitable, if it gets more mainstream.

I hope that by 2020 there will be a year that has good development for crypto, many strong and present communities to make bitcoin the most effective tool for future transactions.

crypto community more and more and more and more people who know cryptocurrency, unfortunately for now there is not much we can do because the markets are bad. We can only hope 2020 be a great gesture in which the market can crypto is better than at present.

My hope is that in 2020 all the many platforms will begin to accept the use of cryptocurrency so that the price of cryptocurrency can be very expensive because it has a very high demand.
