Will your Internet work as an add-on over an existing one or as an independent one? Will you run your cables along the bottom of the ocean between continents, will you launch your satellites?

It's an independent Web from the existing WWW. Sentivate has it's own Domain Naming System, rule set, protocol, and overall design. This fracture away from DNS puts it into it's own "Web" or what is typically referred to as the "internet". If you are into the more technical details a read up over Minimalt is a good start. Uses the exact same infrastructure but we have plans for adding additional devices and hardware to the network as stated on the FAQ. However, the additional hardware is not required but would be ideal for the full vision. Another main point which automatically puts it onto a separate web is it's data transfer protocol being based on UDP instead of TCP. This obviously points to the fact that it doesn't use HTTP/s. Sentivate's protocol is UDSP, instead of going into more detail here you can visit our site and go to to the network dropdown for details regarding the protocol itself.

If you would like to know more about "alternate webs" or "alternate Internets" the early founding of the web itself is just that. There were competing DNSs and networks in the early days of the web. It's similar to that in the sense of the DNS being different. The exceptions being Sentivate uses an entirely different protocol, domain rules, and various other new systems introduced to the network like an Identity Registrar.


"sluggish Web we have today" The best way I can summarize that is it gets down to TCP(HTTP/s), TLS, and DNS. In regards to this DARPA has a quick short summary that just about hits the nail on the head https://www.darpa.mil/program/dispersed-computing.

The question is a typical confusion we hear. The web we have today in which we type bitcointalk.org and go to the website relies on a system known as DNS. This takes human readable names and grabs the associated record and returns it to you which points to an IP address. This handy thing called DNS is actually a huge aspect of the web. Without a system like it you couldn't type in human readable names and arrive at your destination server. You would be left to IP addresses only.  The web is not just the cables that run in the ground it's much of the software that it relies on. Most folks we hear this from assume in order to have an alternate web that this must mean you would need cables and all sorts of hardware. This is an incorrect assumption. All one needs to do in order to create an "alternate web" is to create your own independent Domain Name System with your own records; ETC. Another thing that makes the web what it is today is the data transport protocols & encryption layer being - TCP(HTTP/TLS).

Sentivate takes an entirely different perspective on building a web right from the start. For example our base protocol is UDP instead of TCP. We have a domain system that is utterly different than DNS. The list goes on.

I see that there's a token swap planned when SNTVT's mainnet is activated, but what happens to the swapped SNTVT once you get your VIAT swap?
Are the tokens completely burnt in the process or will we have SNTVT usable on the Ethereum network and VIAT usable on the Sentivate network?

Great question. EOS takes too strict of a view and VIAT is far more decentralized. We strive for efficiency rather than control of the coin. We have also designed the system so that if the community chooses they could ignore the centralized aspects of the system and seek only to communicate with decentralized nodes. We are trying to strive for an opt in functionality. So if you would like your wallet to be frozen you can voluntarily opt in for that during the creation of the wallet. This way if you do and would like your wallet frozen at any time you can submit additional credentials to verify you are the owner and have it frozen. This way businesses can feel safe and those who want to ensure they have control of their funds no matter what also feel safe. There may be additional fees for that feature instead of forcing everyone into one side of the coin or the other like EOS did.

The swap will occur when VIAT launches. Our main focus for the Sentivate launch is it's core systems as to enable hApp development early on. We want to make the decentralized portions for the web side of things more of a plug and play module than something developers need to worry about at all. Writing an hApp is easier than writing a normal web app. An issue we find with dApps is the extra knowledge required to write one. We want to make development easy and have made efforts at creating a reactive component based library that all web devs should be easily familiar with. The front-end lib is based on Ractive with several additions to interact with UDSP streams.

They will be burnt. It would be counter intuitive in terms of the swap to not liquidate the tokens during the swap. We hope to work with all involved exchanges in order to make the swap easy for those trading the token. Anyone who can prove they own a wallet holding SNTVT can send it to us it when we launch VIAT and we will guide them through the process. The idea is to make sure it's an easy and clean swap with nothing left behind. We see many flaws with the Ethereum network if it were intended to do what we are designing Sentivate to do. With that being said once we make the swap we will be leaving it entirely.

If I understand correctly, you guys are planning on competing with what people today know as the internet.
Can today's computers be connected to both networks at the same time? If not - how long do you think it will take people to switch? And why would they switch? Do you think "faster internet" vs "sluggish" is a strong enough argument? Do people consider today's internet sluggish? Also, do you plan on tackling third world countries first, or is the West more of your 'target audience'?

Great questions.

Yes, you can be connected to both networks at the same time such a restriction will never exist. The browser we will be releasing is capable of browsing either web in different tabs, the browser is based off of chrome without the google eyes. Info on that you can be find on NWJS and electron.

The issues regarding the web are actually very well known and millions of people use alternative web technology like QUIC without even knowing it. QUIC is built into google services and browsers to gain an advantage over HTTP being based on TCP; it's destined to be slow. The additional performance and resources gained from QUIC are more than enough for google to continue to use it.

Another issue is DNS. Papers like minimalt provide substantial insight into the issues of DNS and TCP. Info on that can be found here https://cr.yp.to/tcpip/minimalt-20131031.pdf

For an entire industry just saying faster is the difference between billions in losses or billions in gains. The financial and stock trading industry has invested copious amounts of capital into internet technology specifically speed. They rely on variations of TCP still to get stock data between hubs. They have made advancements everywhere except in DNS & custom UDP based protocols like UDSP. They could easily have a drop in replacement with Sentivate and have a huge advantage over other high speed traders. With the proper implementation and pitch it's a no brainer for them to make a full switch where possible.

Internet companies and governments know how big of an issue this is becoming and as such governments have research agreements for next generation internet technology. Not just software but also introducing hardware like caches to help speed up performance. It's affected the internet so much the idea of fast lanes will become the only logical solution to have a viable internet with current tech. With more and more devices connecting to the web every day this becomes a dire issue, the congestion will only build. The idea of having lanes means in the long run the average consumer will experience a drastically slower web that we have today all while using the same tech.

Then there is the issue of security this is related directly with DNS & TCP. I will save you time by not going into too much detail here. If you would like to look more into it there is a long list of TCP and HTTP bugs and security flaws on wikipedia for the layman.

Another issue with the web is the languages themselves. Due to initial design of JS the language has many performance bottlenecks, restrictions, lack of features, and security issues. Only until recently has this become such a point of contention we developed a whole new language for the web called web assembly. The new language was createds just to deal with the performance issues of JS.

There are thousands of component based libraries for the web and still no hard convention that has been agreed upon that effectively tackles the job. This greatly slows down the process of app creation for companies, increases work force requirements, and then cost for long term maintenance. All of that and just for managing the front-end of the application results in depending on the project potentially tens of millions.We have introduced a reactive component standard that most developers should easily grasp.

The web is broken in many ways and the way we are approaching it is not just from a performance metric. It's browsers, security, efficacy, reliability, availability, congestion control, portability, scalability, development, languages, DNS, and protocols. This are all the sectors we hit upon and are creating new technology to either replace or enhance existing components.

The implications we face from network congestion alone is extremely troublesome in the long run. It's not a question of if but when humanity pushes for alternative solutions out of necessity.


We expect app developers, finance applications, governments, private intranets, crypto exchanges that have apps like Binance to be more of an audience for this tech right off the bat. We do expect that China, North America, Europe, Russia, and Korea to be the early adopters based on our current analytics.

A full switch will take time but it can be effortless for the average consumer by simply supporting both protocols from the application layer or even an operating system update. Just as google showed with QUIC you wouldn't even know it was happening.

Yes, it seems your math is off. If you take 4,200,000,000 and divide that by 1000 that's 4,200,000. Meaning that when the swap occurs only 4,200,000 will be automatically out in the wild out of the total Viat supply being 42,000,000.

We won't go into detail regarding the private sale as it's just that private. Discussing any such information may be seen as an act to say solicit something from the public and thus we will not disclose that information.

We would like the holders, activity, community, and  development to speak for itself. We will never try to persuade anyone regarding the financials of the project and thus you are free to assume as you wish and in any matter you choose. We will provide a browser based off of google from Electron or NWJS. We may try and create a plugin in the future that can handle UDSP connections in say a firefox or chrome but due to security restrictions this seems unlikely at this time. It's not out of reason to eventually open a line of communication with browser vendors and seek to have UDSP support.

We have a real world blockchain products on the Sentivate network in the works. The first set is related to fashion and the art world. The artwork is a subtle hint. We were planning on a early release for it but we have since postponed it to pick up and negotiate with more artists. Solid catch not many pick up on that.

We keep everything regarding that private unless the other parties directly ask for a mention. We have some ops in the works that may go public.

This is related to the issues facing DNS and also to break away from the current DNS.

We offer our own extensions that are design to be more robust but also be descriptive of the service on that domain. For example if you are a store like Newegg you must use a .store extension.

We also have our own protocol for how DNS responds to requests that is more secure, faster, and offers 0-RTT out of the box.

If you would like to find out more about why DNS is so broken check out minimalt they have a good right up on that. Although the project looks dead.

It's actually much easier than the traditional web and dApps. We will be providing an open source server module written in node. Anyone will be able to install the package through NPM and launch their own site. You must also register your domain with us and we will be accepting tokens for early access to domains and Viat after launch.

Sentivate uses the existing internet infrastructure. Anyone who has access to the web today will have access to the Sentivate Network. All that is required is a browser that understands UDSP and contacts the correct DIS.

There are no centralized systems attempting to do what we do. Centralized systems like what we have don't currently exist.
The centralized aspects rely on tech like DIS and UDSP that we are currently the only project in the space working on such.

Typically most projects in this space will take anywhere between 2 - 5 years to complete their core vision. We expect to have the centralized network up the same time next year. Another year after for Viat. This may suffer delays in that time period that may push us to say 3 - 4 years for both aspects of the network.

The token is to provide early access, voting rights, and domain acquisition. The token also serves as the vehicle to cause a large influx of new users to the Sentivate network through the Viat swap.

Hyrbid apps are designed much the same way as traditional single page web apps we have today. There are some key additions which enhance and drastically alter the development and capabilities of it. First off hApps utilize a UDSP stream with the centralized service and decentralized nodes to quickly gain access to static & dynamic content. A UDSP connection is a bi-directional encrypted stream used throughout the life of the app. This allows hApps to instantly acquire only the needed app assets at that moment. Over time the stream can be utilized to pull more content on an as needed basis. This functionality in and of itself gives hApps a performance boost because they are running lean. hApps will only download assets they need only when they need it. That functionality can be altered by the developer. However, that is the natural state of an hApp. Imagine walking across a bridge that is building itself as you are using it, that's an hApp.


Because hApps take advantage of centralized services they can easily and quickly be accessed with less delay than current web apps and dApps.
dApps remain to be dreadfully slow because they require consensus and the blockchain which will be drastically slower than a centralized server processing simple user requests.
We have a plan setup in the future that would allow decentralized nodes to also perform work instead of just the centralized service. However, that functionality is in Alpha and will be detailed at a later point.


We designed hApps to eliminate the drawbacks associated with solely decentralized or centralized networks. All the while maintaining the benefits of both. Users can access an hApp and process user requests faster than your typical web apps yet they will have wider availability than decentralized apps. The network is similar to a distributed network except there are still nodes that act as sources for content. 

Another interesting advancement over wApps and dApps is the entire front-end has be equipped with standard js libraries and enhanced defaults for typical HTML elements. The front-end also comes with an enhanced version of Ractive which is used to easily create hApps and take advantage of UDSP streams for component specific assets.

hApps will run leaner & faster than other app types while maintaining an easier development and life cycle. This translates into money/time saving for businesses and average users.

This is a little off-topic but I'll give you my two cents. True democracy has one issue and that's mob rule. 51% of the population could insist the minority give up all their property for no reason what so ever. With that being said there needs to be a checks and balances system with a distributed body of power but safe guards and protections for basic human liberties. Essentially a list of unalienable rights like the US constitution. Systems should not force or interfere with governments. Rather the people and governments should utilize systems like Sentivate as tools during the democratic process. It's important to note that Sentivate is not a solely decentralized network as such networks are entirely unrealistic if seeking to replace existing services and systems. As such Sentivate may be the only current project capable of being a viable tool for the democratic processes in government. Because of its centralized bits it has protections against 51% attacks regardless of the size of the network. True democracy isn't realistic having a checks and balances system like the US and a constitution is the best course of action.

As a side note Sentivate has a set of rules that will be implemented on the network to limit things such as spam and to help categorize domains.

If we participate in a thoroughly decentralized system it will not last long it would be chaotic and unsustainable. If we participate in a thoroughly centralized system it would be as we obey under strict limited rules cutting our freedom. Although both concepts have their advantages and shortcomings both concepts are destined to fail. Only a concept that takes all the advantages of both and cutting down the shortcomings to a minimum will be as effective and sustainable as possible. That is the reason i support and believe in this project but i would like to ask a simple question - Do you have all the resources passion determination and desire to put all the effort to change the current system and to replace it with a new better one ?

Yes, we will be putting up a roadmap shortly. We are shooting for the open source of some of our codebase to play around with prototyping around Feb. That may change depending on if we decide to release more code with the first prototype for developers to play around with.

Yes, most assets will be cached and or transfered in a compressed encrypted format. What we would like to see infrastructures introduce to overall Internet architecture is decentralized pay-for caches. This would allow companies like netflix and Amazon Prime to easily cache video files in a geocentric manner. This in and of itself would be a huge help to Network congestion and performance but that's another story.

During the swap anyone who turns in tokens during a set amount of time will get VIAT after they send SNTVT. They simply have to prove they own the sending wallet via a unique signed message.

After we get the SNTVT it will be burned and we will be leaving the ETH platform and moving to the Sentivate Network.

Sentivate has so much potential to be a top project in crypto and I don't understand why no one is really talking about this project. If the team can deliver on what they have planned then Sentivate can easily be a top 50 cryptocurrency for sure. I have a nice stack of SNTVT tokens ready for the future as this project will take time which I'm happy to wait. Right now SNTVT is a steal at the current price and that is why I got into this project as the potential is there to be a top project.

I can't believe that Sentivate still continues to go under the radar with all that is coming for this project. This is one project that I'm super bullish on for the future in crypto and if the team can deliver on what they have planned, then I can see SNTVT easily being a top 50 and even a top 20 coin in the future.

I like that the team continue to work hard behind the scenes on Sentivate and they have also done some work on the website which looks a whole lot better then before. Great job on the website dev, it looks a lot better then before and it looks more eye catching.

Sentivate continues to go un-noticed by a lot of people here and if they just look they would see the massive potential Sentivate has to offer and at such a cheap price on STEX exchange.

Its great to see Sentivate finally get the exposure it deserves as this project has gone under the radar for such a long time now as no one was talking about the potential it has. I'm glad that I got in early and will hold for the long term as this project has huge potential in the long term.

I suggest you also come to their discord and have a chat with the team and ask questions as the team are always happy to answer any concerns you may have. The swap will be a swap from the ERC20 token (SNTVT) to a Token running on the Sentivate Network with the ticket name VIAT.

That's right, however, we have to appreciate the hard work of the team without them. I think Sentivate can't get this far and it looks like it's quite interesting for us to follow the development
