I think it's pretty good to buy altcoin in the top 5 because it's a longterm coin and it's still profitable even old coin because those in the top 5 altcoin sure make you because longterm are those altcoin especially if you're worth buying of the low cost and you just hold it for a long time so you will be able to make the old altcoin more recommended for its many investors and holders so the price will not fall as no seller or dumper and altcoins.

My suggestion is not a altcoin, it is token. Please take your attention on INS ecosystem project, it is going to the end of their roadmap, be partnership with a lot of company, total token is supplied is 50 millions token, low price.

My top 5 and why I consider them as great projects that will bloom out of the box.

1. PundiX - this one is a very early stage project and lots of room of improvement. Their team are very professional and knows exactly how to market their product XPOS and XPASS around the globe. Recently, they announce a migration to a new blockchain of their own and this is quite a news. I know their supply is tremendously high but this isnt the basis of price valuation but the product itself. This is one to watch.

2. REBL - this is a sleeping giant project. I know many dont trust a community token which dont rely on ICO. But this is the reason you should trust their team more. They spending their own money developing a staking platform that can fully initiate a business enterprise on the blockchain business. Last quarter they will roll out with the swap on their own blockchain, so watch out!

3. Minexcoin - If you like a universal staking coin then this one is the one for you. You can use mobile as well to stake on their minexbank app. This one can make you earn through daily, weekly, monthy and yearly. The price become lower but the circulating supply still low. You dont want to missed when it go back to its price.

4. Holochain - One statement to say what their product is. The Next Ethereum. Great team and product, no doubt about that.

5. Taucoin -  This project is one to root for this year. They have their own blockchain and using an experimental consensus, called Proof of Transaction. Ive been watching their product and the adopter are growing fast. Many already downloaded their wallet and still increasing of users. They dont conduct an ICO and will launched.their own exchange on October 18. Will see how valuation can put their project on the market.

Investing on new coins at this time is very risk. So, I just introduce to you 5 good coins which you can buy immediately because it is having a good price, such as : Nano, Cybermile (CMT), EOS, IOTA and BAT

It's true taking high risks there will be a chance to get more profits. But in my opinion it's better to invest in different altcoins that we know are already have a good potential. Because a lot of tokens now are fake or will be die.

It would not be wise to consider anything as top in this criteria. Cause every coins and its values are unpredictable and it varies on the demand and stability of the coins. So after analysing the current situation as per the market, it would be better to decide.

The suggested altcoins would be Ethereum, Litecoin, Zcash, Dash and Ripple. These are quite hot at the moment.

I think it's pretty good to buy altcoins in the top 5 because it's a long term coin. Investing on new coins at this time is very risky. So, you need to analyze first before investing.

For long term investiment i can suggest DeepOnion ,then Eth,Ada,Steller and maybe Tron but anyway it just suggestion and you need make your own research.

Everybody would say the tokens he have most. But at the end, it is your money and you should make your decision.

I am a fan of semux and hope it will be a hit near future. Besides that, stellar, lisk, covesting and robotina are my favorite.

I know a lot of currencies, but for some reason I only believe in the growth of one, this is Raiden Network Token, I think that a place for it in the top 50 is at least, and soon there will be a release of their product.

Focussing on the new coins right now will not be safe. It will be better to invest on the top 5 stable Altcoin which does have almost zero chance of crashing.

ETH, Ripple, NEO, EOS, Waves are for me. I don't think that it is logic to analyze coins that you suppose in the negative future and it is only a wasting of time.

Any altcoin that has a dedicated team and trying to integrate for adoption is good.  But there really are a lot of them at the moment.  My top 5 are:

1. Ethereum: It's bitcoin all over again but has the infrastructure to be 10 times better

2. Polis:  Strong community, good product

3. Absolute Coin: innovative project working in a relevant and useful sector

4. SmartCash: Huge community

5. B-hash: community driven project innovating new solutions to blockchain problems.  Like many projects, just needs a solid use case roll out and it will be unstoppable.

Investing in new coins at this time is very risky. I'm investing in some altcoins because I believe  Ethereum, EOS, Waves, Litecoin, Dash, Neo are the best coins, These coins have a strong and reliable team.

I will consider you to have invested in the EOS, XRP, NEM, IOTA, BTC. These coins are the very strong platforms. It is a very fast transition in day by day.

In fact, the top-ranked coin has a much better potential than the new token, which still has a very low market share. For considering NEO, Monero and Cardano can be there because they are increasing coins with promising trend of developmene and they must be mentioned.

I think that one that is clearly undervalued is NEO. There should be much more investment given how solid it is and how many developers are cotributing to it with great code.

Just split your investment in different altcoins not only in one coins or do not just focus on neo coin. There is a lot of coins that good for investment like the majority choices it's ethereum.

I would first go for the bitcoin, Do you even have enough bitcoins first to consider for another coins? There is a coin named Near Earth Objects or NEO for short :D They also have Gas emitting from their tails.
Try the best coin which is bitcoin first and then go for the coins such as litecoin and ETH.

MFT, HOLO, Quarkchain, Ethir, NEO - IMHO my top 5 coins at the current situation. Maybe ontology, but it already have a high price. 

I think that should pay attention primarily to the coins that have already proven themselves, namely from the Top 20. I like Monero, Zcash and NEO. Can also pay attention to new projects. For example, on Zilliqa and Quarkchain.

How has Quarkchain proven itself? It was only released a few months ago. Definitely one to watch for the future, but I wouldn't say it's anywhere near proven.

I think it would be best to watch high potential coins rather than already proven coins if you want to see explosive growth.

I think that in the top 5 of the best altcoins in which to invest, must include coins such as EOS, Ripple, Ethereum, OMG, Waves and ADA.

I think I'm a bit conservative so I would get Ethereum and ripple as the first two, then I would continue with EOS and NEO and at the end you can take a risk with Venq that is quite promising until now or you can invest in LTC that many say will have an excellent bull run at the end of the year.

For new coins, maybe privcy as I see a future there, and the new entrants into the top 100 on cmc. They must be doing something right to have gotten to where they are so odds are they'd keep doing them right. For older ones, eth as always, cardano, neo and dash for me.

Right decision in right time is to make bigger your portfolio. But always make your own favorite list by researching other lists! My picked top 5 altcoins, for now, BNB, HOLO, Cybermiles, TRON & XRP! Once I hated XRP, but now XRP is doing very well and it will good in future too. Cybermiles launched their main net and it will move their own blockchain very soon.

BLUE, CYMT, TRIG i think those are good enough to be considered right now.
For a famous coins, i didn't have any recently because it seems there's still a probability of stay being dropped. I prefer on the BLUE right now, but keep watch the primary market.

If Ethereum has really no future something will need to replace it, and the most probable coins reading around the web are stellar and EOS. Those coins can be a good bet on recent future even if Ethereum will not die if you want instead one 1000x coin you need to invest in a small coin but it will be almost a gambling and gambling it's always bad.

There are a lot of pennies circulating in the electronic money market. But I believe 5 pennies below you should consider to invest. These are ETH, BTC, LTC NEO, EOS. I dont really too much dependent on the altcoins,because this coins is dependent on the ETH and BTC, but rather, i would suggest to buy the top coins which are listed in CMC, you know id rather be more practical than to speculate different altcoins newly endorsed in the market, but if ive given a chance to endorse, i would choose Credits and Arcblock,. So far this alts keeps on upgrading their services.

I think ETH, XRP, LTC are among the most notable altcoin. This is probably the right time to buy cheap.

Go to the coinmarketcap.com and select the top five altcoins and invest on those coins. I would prefer some good growing altcoins such as Ethererum, ripple, Neo, stellar and Monero. These are the coins with low value now just invest on these coins now these coins are good for long term investment. Hold the coins with patience till the value becomes high.

if you are looking for perhaps stable growth maybe but for large ROI the top 10 will not compare to under the radar projects.

Among the five coins other than ethereum I am more inclined to XEM, Neos, IGNIS, Waves besides the price is still very cheap the rate of increase is huge, but we should consider the movement of bitcoin too of course. Do you agree with me if yes what is the reason?

I think privacy is also a very good thing to invest in for the future, isn't something said that in reality, it's the only thing that will always be used in a sense(untraceable "black market" stuff)?  :D

etherum, of course all the information about altcoin is the best and has the highest value among other altcoins.
ripple, and cardano, they already have good ones and will go up high.
there are also stars and waves that are ready to slide into the moon.

bitcoin, BNB, Quantum, vechain, NeoNexChange, XRP are my favorite coins. I think everybody must have these coins in his portfolio. Bitcoin must be 30-40% of the whole portfolio no matter how big it is!

My top 5 altcoins to consider would be:

I consider them because i believe on their developments, active team and they have a lot of great features and they have a proven track record on being profitable and have a fast transaction compare to others.

This is a very nice set! I have almost all of them except HOLO. To be honest, I've never heard any news about it! But I hope for BNB and CyberMiles very much in the nearest 2-3 years! I think they will grow and bring profit to their investors!

Hello, take a look at DAG structure projects, such as : VITE, NANO, IOTA. This is a very promising direction.

If you invest in long-term, you can invest in Eth, Ada, Steller, waves and NEO. These coins are the best and reliable coin in the current market. The future of these coins is very good.

For the new coins I personally don't invest large part of my capital. Just go like 10% to 20% part. From the existing good project I consider XLM, TRX, Cardano, EOS and Dash.

I suggest coins from top 20 because they are more reliable...
Many coins from outside of top 20 may not survive this bear market...

Its obivious top 5 coin is not need to consider. Because they are really effected market . I think , we cant any order altcoins for a long time.

I think it would be good to be guided by the tops that are now, ripple and ethereum are safe bets that are getting more popular every day, for the rest you could go by LTC which is also quite popular and if I want to bet on a currency that I think is going to explode in the coming months, I would invest in PRiV too.

STELLAR, WAVES, EOS, MONERO, RIPPLE. All of them are interesting and promising but I am not sure till the end. This is my list of the coins that are not determined for me.

For considering and thinking about I can recommend Waves and Stellar as well. They are more strange and unpredictable for me that I am afraid of being working with them.

You picked very bad time for fullfillment of your portfolion. When the market is dying, there are a lot of cheap altcoins, but most of them would not recover.

Ethereum, Eos, Dash, Ripple, Neo I think this is the best coin and I am sure that in the future the development will be better and more and more people will invest in these five coins.

There are many coins in market Out of all i like EOS, UBEX, MEW, MONERO & WAVES are top 5 altcoins according to me  because  all coins are good potential and it gives good profit & future is also very bright.

BOS (BOScoin). Massively hyped in early 2017, it’s been flying under the radar. It’s up 50% the past week, as the new White Paper has just been published, including having details of the MainNet release on 15th Nov and staking details. DYOR but I am very excited about this one.

My advice is always on top 100 coin on the coin market cap. This will give you confidence on these projects when reasoning about long term projects and those with strong products.

5. BCH, Just to hold for the hardfork.

I still stick to the old time because it is still the best. I would advise you buy in this other BTC, Ether, BCH,  LTC and DOGE. These are traditional coins  That are already established  having  volume and market share value. For they are better and  have the market and the volumes and liquidity  are already there for each of them incase you want to exchange ypur coins back to fiat. I will  still say old coins are better to buy.

I think that the top 5 best include BTC,ETH,XP,EOS, LTC although each coin is unpredictable and everything depends on the demand in the market.every coin can be the best.

TRON is also quite good, but I think NEO is better and it deserves a place in this list, I will replace the TRON with NEO then 5 altcoin will definitely be a great list so people can invest in.

It's very difficult now to determine the best altcoin. Because now there are many altcoins that we can consider every day and always change. I think the price of BCH only rises before hardfork because everyone want to get free coin as much as possible. But after hardfork, they will sell off BCH and this thing makes price decreases.

Among the most promising projects for me personally at the moment is the Etheera project. If I had met a similar project before, I would have never contacted Bitcoin or other major alts. Here I am sure that in the next few months my investments will bring me a multiple increase.

New coin not so good at this time. Top coin always most trusted and its most profitable in the crypto world.
I like these 5 coin very much. BCH - Bitcoin cash; XRP - Ripple; BTC - bitcoin; ETH - Ethereum and ADA - Cardano.

There are many altcoins who have a great future and they are very profitable for you in the future. You can choose your altcoin by analyzing its team, developer, networking system and market volume etc. In my opinion, Bitcoin, Eth, XRP, Eos and Bitcoin Cash are the top 5 considerable altcoins.

Maybe top five altcoin have consider with price is ripple, bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold, ethreum classic and eos, other altcoin have lower and drop price because effect by lower of bitcoin price, only five coins have keep the same price and change lower about little percent.

I don't get why so many of you give XRP as an example. This centralized token (because it's not a cryptocurrency, it's a centralized payment protocol) is premined and totally under control of Ripple Labs and its CEO. It can be a good investment if you don't believe in cryptocurrencies but want to invest in the upgrade of the current centralized fiat banking.

And if your main coins worth investing are XRP and BCH I'm speechless.

I think the best advice is to buy the most famouse altcoins. It's less risky rather than investing in new altcoins. Maybe the profit will be less than the ability of other altcoins but safety is more important.
