I see alot of altcoins and tokens been introduced into the market every day and I keep wondering if that is how this industry will keep growing.  The number of altcoins does not translate to increase in the over all market capitalization of the cryptocurrencies market and it that means that some of the coins we currently have in the market is not needed!

It does not matter, everyone can create a coin which is mostly useless and for nothing so it will keep rising, but good coins that will have impact on the industry also there.

Sure there can be many altcoins that can be introduced in the market and it may confuse some users or take some share in the current state of it, however just remember that it will still be up to the demand of that coin or token whether they can be successful and will stay in the market. Sure there can be 10 tokens that will be added in a day but also 10 or more tokens are left out the dust too.

Alot of them are currently dying while market bleeds . There was an article where was graph with all ICOS in 2017 and how many ETH , BTC they collected . Today almost all of them spent / sold collected funds . So it means they dont have funds for developing project further . Take a look at projects like Cofound and many others , they are closing down and some of them even run away with last pieces of crypto lol

They're all looking to grab their little slice of the pie. 99.99% of the altcoins are not needed, they are just niche implementations of more diverse platforms such as ETH and EOS. There needs to be a serious cull of these trashcoins, and I think over the next couple of years we will definitely see the vast majority of these get close to a $0 market cap.

Looking at CMC we can see that there have been over 1,000 new additions within the last year, as of writing there are over 2,000 coins listed on CMC, which means there was a 50% increase within a year - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/volume/monthly/

Almost 700 of these coins have a monthly trade volume under $100,000 ergo, they are pretty much dead.

This is going to keep getting worse until 99% of all coins have no trade volume, don't feed the trend, ignore trash new coins that offer nothing new. If they are a niche coin or have limited expected utility, o not pay it any attention, and don't even invest to dump later as you're just detracting funds from the main contenders.

Scammers area all over the internet, and they like to seize a good oportunity to scam others making shitcoins. I hope this bear market times, will help the market to wash out all bad coins, and scammers that give bad name to cryptoworld.

Its a lot of players looking to grab the same slice of cake.
The idea seems to be basically selling useless tokens for useful tokens
to people hoping to make a big gain many months after their initial transaction.

there are even some who eventually plunge towards dead prices and cannot rise again, this is a considerable loss but can only be overcome by selling it cheaply and still getting something even though they cannot fulfill the desires or hopes that have been dreamed of

I think it doesn't matter, even if more and more altcoins come out of the market, only altcoins with real purpose and use will only last in the market. As time goes by investors are getting smarter. Investing because of pump is gone, most investors are after long-term profit in real projects and companies.

if I think the opposite is what you said above, because of the existence of new coins as evidence of the development of crypto in all fields, it can be proven right now, crypto has entered into the affairs of human interest from basic things

Yeah, No of alt-coin growing but the market-cap not make much difference. Even all the coins solution of some problem. But in same field many try to solve problem and just some can grow in the long term. In result some become shitcoin or useless.

So many useless altcoins everyday and I think we cannot stop them for creating shitcoins for now but I hope in the future we will see a more strict policy about creating coins. We must be careful and invest only with a good coins who has its own product already.

Talking in series of Altcoins coming up day by day. At this point I'll say there can be series of Altcoins but few are useful and moved the market. Investors needs to be very careful when it comes to investing on Altcoins because many tends to be fake and that's why it's necessary to give thorough research on which ever project you want to invest in because many have bad management which can't make them stand, due to anyone can create a project which wouldn't be listed.

in some conditions, of course if you are smart it can be used to get profit, try to take part in the pre-sale event of the coin or token. of course you have to filter the project carefully. Because now the many scam projects (as you mentioned above) have learned how to scam better than before

The number of altcoins will never stop. It's almost like a domain name in the sense that they get created so quickly. There's a niche for literally everything when it comes to crypto. POS altcoins are getting created constantly and most are scams with a high POS to get more investors. The earliest succeed in these types of coins and the latter do not.

The total amounts of altcoin in the coinmarketcap can't be trusted because they have counted the die coin and shitcoin. YOu can see that so many scam coin worth zero value and it should not be included on that list, AFAIK CMC could try to create such a new mechanism to determine the coin that filled all of criterias.

I have no problem with the number of alt coins popping up every day, I think this is one of the developments that occur in the crypto world, we just choose how alt coins that really play a real role in real life to invest.

But most of them are just crap ones or really has no value at all. They are created to generate income for the team members behind such project and not for the users.
Very few are really sincere in deploying their innovative technologies via blockchain technology. And you will find out that those legit ones are the ones who have difficulty in attracting investors as well as users.
So if you are one of those small time players, you need to be very careful where you put your hard-earned money. Even authentic ones do not sell in the crypto market, thus, losing your investments.

Yeah, the number of altcoins always increases day to day. Unfortunately, most of them are worthless and have no prices once listed on exchanges. Actually, I don't really understand about the decline cycle also influenced by these altcoins. But, certainly more new altcoins makes the competition among them too tight yet many altcoins have the same concept, ideas, and in the same sector. It triggers for worthless coins or tokens on crypto market recently.    

The number of investors contribute to the development of new Altcoins. Although some of it is useless, I believe that it will have its value soon as people keeps supporting it. The number of altcoins increases but the number of investors drops since cryptos get banned in most of the areas in the world.

That's the sad reality that some of the altcoins in the market is not needed or they will die soon enough. Some developers are continuing to develop coins/tokens to earn money without a solid project thus contributing to the number of altcoins that is in the market right now.

With that being said that new altcoins are being created every day, I'm sure that there are altcoins "dying" every day. There's not much fanfair for coins dying, but they may get abandoned by developers and their price goes to virtually zero. It's unlear how many cryptocurrencies we actually need... maybe just a handful or maybe we need to tokenize the whole world. I think it's a confusing market out there for someone looking to get started in crypto. It might be nice to see a few currencies and platforms become as well known as Bitcoin to the general public.

I think in 2017, there were many altcoins created more than this year. Peoples have known there are many scam coins created,
so they don't buy the new coins easily anymore. There are many altcoins, but the one with a good project will be surviving from time to time.

I agree, many altcoins are getting born everyday. But this altcoins doesn't born just to compete to other coins, they have specific function to the project. Some can be used as a mode of payment, and etc.

Becouse everyday new projects come to market and its normal number of alts keep increasing especially tokens but we see others which havnt valume start to die.

too many useless tokens that bring nothing. The crack of 2018 has failed to purge this. The market is not mature and is still small...there is still a lot of shares to take.

the market is constantly being "purged" of shitcoins but the problem is that this purge takes time so their death spiral sometimes takes along time to complete. but it will happen eventually.
and another problem is that there is constantly new shitcoins being created and introduced in the market so there is no way we can see the market fully purged and clean.

The number of coins is not relavent , also if you are reffering to CMC ,there is a reasonable doubt who coins actually deserve to be there because there is too many exchnages with fake volumes and they exist because everyone wants to get their coin CMC.

It really doesn't matter, I think numbers of usless shitcoins are increasing, but actually almost nobody need them, you can create your own crypto as well but it must be useful and supported by people. So  I still keep use top 10 crypto and that's all.

Yes there are lot of altcoins projects coming monthly monthly as of they are starting a new business as on this cryptocurrency  and they are showing there business strategy,ideas,talents etc..... I think that's the rule of the market. Good projects with high applicability will exist and be highly selective. Crypto is a booming industry, so having a lot of ico debut everyday  appears to be no surprise at all. Mostly we can choose the good ico to invest or not.

In my opinion, the increase in the number of altcoins in the crypto space in a way, adds to the overall marketcap. I the sense that, there are some investors who just by sighting a good project, invest their fiat into it, by buying more coins like ethereum there are some projects that allow fiats to be invested directly into into their projects. In a much, it is adding to the overall marketcap. Although, sometime the addition might not be that significant.

Yes, you might be right, because there are so many shitcoins in the crypto space and most times, they do not last long.

there is nothing wrong, thousands of small businesses appear and disappear every day and this does not change the Fiat market. also, participants of the crypto market will learn to distinguish which ICO have the opportunity to survive in the future and which are not in the initial stages, which will remove foam from the crypto market.

Not only some of the coins but also almost all of the coins without BTC, ETH, LTC, XMR or some more. Rest of all is nothing but some shits. Those will soon be not able to survive because they have no real use case.

The more cryptocurrencies the better! It means that there is a strong competition in this sphere. And where there is competition there always is development and progress. That is why the number of new promising coins and blockchains is very important.

I think that the continued emergence of a variety of coins and tokens is good. Yes, a significant part of them will eventually leave the market as useless and only promising will remain. If altcoins will appear more than die, then I think that this is good. Although quantity does not always mean quality. If there are many projects, it means that there is life on the market.

The market is now so unstable that it is very difficult to predict which coins have future ones, many will not survive in the future, because they have no perspective.

Too many competition might have some good side, but it does have some serious drawbacks. Too many altcoins can often create a mess in the market, lower the price as there will be many coins of a similar feature and many coins flop as there are available coins of similar use and feature. But new coins with different and unique ideas will be beneficial for the future and the blockchain technology.

I can not imagine that all coins and tokens will survive in the market. In the end, only a handful of coins will really survive. Many of the current coins are only on the market to make quick money, unfortunately.

I would say that 93% of them doesn't really needed because if we do look at on the current market condition when it comes to projects existed mostly they are on Eth-based then what are the difference among those projects yet they do only have smart-contract similarities.Right? For another platform then I would really consider that but keeps flooding on similar platform I don't really see the demand that's why they do end up on being a garbage.

If these altcoins have any value some of them may join their forces in future, as many of them tries to solve similar problems and are based on similar ideas - it could be pretty interesting.

If these coins were created, then someone needs them.But if not needed then accordingly they will disappear.In general, no matter how many altcoins are created, if there is a demand for them, then let as many coins as needed by users be created. There are still untouched segments in the crypto industry, therefore new altcoins will still appear.

For those coin which show tremendous impact in the market surely will retain the circulation and for those coins will no longer needed obviously they it will disappear. It's our prerogative at first in the campaign period we double check for projects much needed in the community.

I know it is kind of annoying to have 2000+ altcoins, since it is hard to decide which to invest and guess which ones will have a promising future. It requires a lot of hard work. I don't think the number of altcoins will decrease anytime soon, so we need to focus on the ones which we think has a great future.

Indeed, the number of coins on the market is increasing, but most of them do not bring any benefit, because they were created only to raise money. Nevertheless, we can not do anything with this and limit the creation of projects, we can only be able to choose those projects that can bring some benefit to this industry.

I guess because the technology is still very young and it's open source and anybody with the money and organization can set up a coin problem is some of these are not usable only meant to be a pump and dump coin in the market, but every once in a while a good project comes in that proves to be profitable for crypto supporters.

What did you want, everyone wants to create his product now, seeing his own uniqueness in him, but not everyone can do it!

True number of altcoins is keep increasing but most are scam nowadays which is turn into shitcoin after months. So be aware about it.  Always make hard research if you're planning to invest or buy to hold. always make sure there's a specific information before putting money , 'cause most now had no real team behind which is totally ponzi schemes , just pretending that has expert team but the truth is fake.  

Exactly, majority of coins being born has no real life usage, sad to say and we can say that devs are just putting to raise money and some to run a scam. That's why the market can't really take-off because of so many people being victimized by this scammers. And the effect trickles down to those legit ICO, they can't get the needed funding because investors are very reluctant.

The market is indeed oversaturated with tons of different coins that may be very confusing for new traders and investors. Nevertheless, try to look at it from the other point of view: everybody can develop their own coin and present it to the public. After that, it is up to the public to decide if this coin is worth it or not - the market will sort it all out. The most potent and reliable coins will survive, the other ones will fade - consider it natural selection of the coins.

The number of new coins that come will give new things to the world of Crypto because every coin that appears brings a unique technology and a good goal in the crypto world so that in the future crypto will grow further.

I still do not see an end horizon for these altcoins creations at all times, because it is a natural phenomenon and everyone is trying to develop what they believe is a good alternative to Bitcoin, there are those who are just looking for quick money and there are those who own other needs, this phenomenon will decrease after more than half the world population has knowledge of cryptocurrencies.

Not some most of the coins we have just used for the speculation so if we don't have them then their market value will be just migrates to another one so increasing the coins doesn't means the market is growing.But it will keep increasing forever until the people know what is the goof project and what is shit project because this turned out to be modern day business.

Be careful on what altcoin you’re investing, some of these altcoins you’re seeing here and there are meant for pump and dump purposes and will disappear anytime soon. So be very careful, if I were you I would even prefer to stay with the old coins, I can’t be taking that kind of risk. Or maybe I wait to see what others thinks about that particular coin before I invest.

A lot of altcoins are dying every single day, recently, binance and bittrex delisted some coins and that shows that a time will come when shit coins will end up dead as long as they have no development, no volume and nothing to even show for it.

And in such case and scenario, I wonder how anyone would want to be trading a shit coin on a shitty exchange when they know the risks involved except when we now get to see the likes of penny stocks for the shit coins later on in the future. The truth of this whole thing is that as much as the altcoins are increasing, not all of them will last eventually.

And I added, it may not be stop increasing but still there's a few of them which I can say is good to invest as long as you know it is worth and potentials according to what they have to their whitepaper or road map also the team behind are transparent and the owner are visible to its community. 

You're absolutely right. In it there is a share of irony and why they do it unclear. As this situation worsens the position of the cryptocurrency on the market. What this will lead to in the future is unknown. I hope in the future this process will be settled and there will be no fraudulent coins at all.

Yeah so many new altcoins adding in market. But some of. them very shitcoin. We may loss our money by invest on this type of shitcoin. But there also coming good altcoin as welll.

many coins seem to disappear within one two months because they are just a clone of an idea and an attempt to collect a Fund, but there are interesting projects that are below the plinth. it is necessary to monitor them and when the signs of life can be sobiety. Every month there are more new altcoins in the market and always more scam projects, and because of that the most investors are afraid to invest to these new coins.

It is not very good that the number of altcoins is growing and for the most part they are just digital garbage. While this does not affect.

Now the market situation is such that most ISO projects do not go through even at the launch stage. Too much trash. In a month you can see only 5-10 worthwhile projects with a good idea and a team. Any waste sooner or later sinks into oblivion ....

Altcoins often address simple or singular issues of bitcoins, such as transaction speed, or the distribution method. Most don’t last long. Yet there are some that have stood the test of time.

Too much Altcoin is created every day. Some are turning themselves into rubbish. I wonder if this is the way we are killing ourselves or Cryptocurrency is growing rapidly. But what I see now is that there are too many projects and too few investors (bewildered). Investors are concerned about ICO scam and the current incompetent project. This causes many projects to kill themselves very quickly. This is the truth that can hardly be changed.

Some of these tokens will soon be dead when no one supports it, the volume of the token will soon dry and will be delisted on exchanges. If no one is buying it then its going to be useless. 


There are busted scam ICOs reported in the scam accusation and reputation section of the forum, I'm sure those who were busted suffers loss too after they were caught. Everyone must be on the look out for these Scam ICOs.

Number of alternative coins will continue to rise.
But the market and the demand from the people will dictate who will stand still.
there will be new coming in the market and there will be gone.
let the people choose who will they keep and support.

yes number of altcoins are steadly increasing even in this bear market , probably cause anyone can create their own token but all of those will die or turn out not usable since they will have to meet some demands or product to be useful so doesnt matter how many alts are being created everyday they will just die

A lot of altcoins are coming in 2019 guys, most of them will not survive. However try to invest in a good promising coin if you have idea of long-term investment. The market will turn out to be like a garbage we need to be very cautious and invest in a right coin. So plan accordingly.

I am of the opinion that we will keep having new altcoins on a daily basis in crypto world but the fact remains most of the altcoins cannot stand the test of time because a lot of them are irrelevant and they will fade away very soon.

It's more than 80% from the total coins in the market have died. The marketcap doesn't wanna delist them all and that makes the amount of coin keeps increase a lot. AFAIK if the marketcap can delist em all and then i thought that the total coin in the market will remain the same.

Many coins and tokens will keep coming and going but only a certain number will survive. Think about it, many of these projects and companies are startups, so many startups die within the first year or few years of their development. The good projects, coins and tokens will stay, while the failures will close and die. You need to do your due diligence and see which ones will be good to invest in and which ones will die and so take your money in the process.

I think in the future, this number will increase since the crypto technology will grow fast with the technology itself. This a normal thing in crypto. If we are going to look into the past price chart we can really see that in crypto everything us really unstable. So everything tgat change today is really not surprising because we all know that in crypto we cannot really predict the price of any other coin because rot doesn't depend on government. What makes sad about the increase of cryptocurrency is that there are so many scam coin/token that had been created these days.
I hope there will be some kind of regulation to control all those scam coin/token.

The market does not need the vast majority of alternative currencies. In most cases it is rubbish. But no one can ban the release of new coins. They just will lay on the bottom .. I am sure that in the future the situation will change.

i think more and more coins are being built to use the block chain platform. these platform like eos and tron need smaller use case scenario crypto to use there platforms. thats why more coins are being built. they dont make alot of sense. just small money.
a group of rich people will pump any given coin . lets say a cartel runs a business under ground and uses pivx . they sell in pivx currency and only customer buys pivx and buy what they need. than everyone dumps the pivx. just a theory

I am really not one of those bitcoin evangelist who says that every other coin than bitcoin is a sh*it-coin and is not needed but i think that at least 90% of those 10.772 cryptos that are listed on coinmarketcap are absolutely unnecessary and therefore also not good for the market in my opinion. If i had to guess then i would say that at least 1000-2000 meme-coins have been launched within the last 2 months. The reason for that is simple, Shiba Inu was a huge success at first and then some other meme-coins that were introduced right after that did also quite well and therefore a lot of people are tempted to create their own coin because it is not expensive.

There are many coins on the market. But there is also a tendency that in most cases these are useless tokens. There are few projects that benefit the technology as a whole. And this is sad because users suffer losses due to the fact that they have invested in the project. Which they thought would be promising, but in fact it turned out that this is another meaningless token.

they didnt research deeply when decided to invest in any project, and mostly prefer project with high hype of only FOMO. Since few months ago since elon starting shiling doge, there are alot new meme  coin project want to take opportunity and earn money from   investors speculation in market. Even popular listing take part and add them in their trading list. It is so sad because there will alot traders rekted and trapped in whales games.

you are right, too many meme coins are now present in the market. they are popular because of the growing community on social media. but it does not strengthen their market because they buy only to come out with a small profit. high hype is their goal, and supporting such a project is not long-term. That's what makes many new projects now unable to last long. after the hype they will soon be discarded.

This principle is called censorship-resistance. Should Coinmarketcap decide who gets visibility and who does not? Would you like that? I am very skeptical of your position and I know it is up to me as a user and an investor to give my vote for a coin or be neutral towards a coin that I just don't like and ignore it.

Considering the fact that you don't really need to pass any qualification to make a coin, it is not surprising anymore that there are a lot of altcoins being made. Nevertheless, for sure such coins are mostly useless cause it is quite impossible that lots of coins are existing and all of them are useful. The price movement will surely be affected if that's the case, also not everyone is fond of supporting altcoins so it is not really surprising seeing lots of dead coins or meme coins regardless of the increase in number of altcoins.

Only few percentage of these thousand alts has active development. Most of them are already dead and long time abandoned. So even if new alts are coming up, still few of them will survive. It is better to see new projects because we will see which of them will indeed end up realizing their objectives. There are so many industries to explore, this is why we have seen various projects. But only few of them can implement what they are talking.

I think the number of altcoins affect the market somehow negatively. Most of these coins are useless and were created only for pump and dump purposes. It means investors lose money by investing on these altcoins that are largely promoted on social medias to newbies. It is true that nowadays many new coins are appearing in the market. it does not mean that the previous coin will be eroded because even if it is an old coin if it has good prospects then it is still worth having. Not all new coins have good prospects to invest so don't worry about that. the good coins will stay and the bad coins will disappear. Many of these coins are just up to for quick $$$. Not something that could last long that one can expect.
This is why many of them are gonna be just useless overnight due to dumps of investors and also of course, bounty hunters.

I would say we have all been subject to scams in the past and the learning curve that comes with it. I made some bad decisions too and I don't feel ashamed for it. In fact it was good that it happened early, it shaped my perception what to pay attention to and today I would say I am a better investor in crypto thanks to the mistakes I made in the past.

Come back and check this topic in 5 years and you will be shocked. There will be even more and more coins created every single day, look at coinmarketcap and you will see that there are nearly a coin a day and probably more in most other days, and that is just coinmarketcap and I know a ton of other coins and tokens that did not get listed in coinmarketcap neither. At the end of the day if you are not listed at all that means you are not checked at all neither so I remove all of that, but even still with that cmc has so many coins, even while delisting some of them.

Long story short there will be more and more coins every year, there will be at least a thousand coins where over a thousand people invested every single year, in 5 years that means over 5 thousand projects with a million joined (overlap of course, one person can join multiple) so that is never good for us in financial sense. However this allows improvements and show us all the new stuff so that's good.

As a newbie before, I've lost a lot of money when I've invested to things that I don't know because there's no guidance and I just learnt through the community and with experience.

But with the newbies today, if they are resourceful and asks first before committing an investment or buying the newest coins. They'll have the knowledge through the people that they've asked for.

Deal with it, as the market is growing we cannot stop altcoins from increasing as there's no government body that will approve them before they'll start the project. Remember, we use the crowd sale format and we give liberty to those brilliant minds to show their project, but remember that majority of the altcoins are scams, so you have to be careful.

it's not easy to choose 1 out of 1000 projects that are legit, but with enough knowledge, you'll be able to spot one.

Also, don't assume that the project will succeed just because they are legit, that's a different thing.

we can take a lesson from our mistake in the past, which is maybe at that moment we still lack of knowledge. most of us trapped in FOMO or hype from that shilled by people who have big influence in market, we didnt make any research properly to project we hold in bag and mostly shitcoin. But know we must be better investors by doing deep research before put our money.

Some of altcoins are just to scam. Some are intentionally created to make new history in cryptocurrencies space. But crypto is like an arena where the real battles begin along the way from promotion up to maintenance. Weak tokens definitely will vanished. Actually, we don't have a lot of long term holders here, most of the investors are into short term and huge money is into day trading as you can see on the daily volume, so it's not good to say that because of volatility this market is not good because volatility is the main reason why people loves trading crypto.

The shilling by big personalities you mentioned is indeed a big problem. I remember when projects paid a lot of money to reputable people on Twitter who then tweeted about those coins. It's actually good if many altcoins are introduced in the market, meaning that these altcoins are a reference for beginners to invest. But there is no guarantee, the more coins that appear, then the industry can be said to be growing.
I think all coins are needed, not this year maybe next year.

All coins basically have value, but that value is determined by demand, so there are altcoins that reach their maximum amount too quickly, although there are other influences that make them reach that maximum value in a short time.

Only Bitcoin is not enough for the market, as like you said, altcoins surpass it in many positions. Some altcoins are faster, others are more private, all of them are cheaper etc. Moreover, bitcoin can’t show increases of 10 times or more in the short term. Nevertheless, altcoins are capable of increasing by 100 times easily, so they are more attractive for traders.

Well, this might continue to happen in the market but some of such non-relevant Altcoins that have been created before will also die of the market while new ones are been create. If the new Alts that are being created have a purpose to the market, they will certainly bring value as investors will definitely want to invest but if not, they wouldn't bring any value to the market.

The reliability of new currencies is much lower in the market even if they show a good position at first they will scam everything when the amount of investment increases. Therefore even if the number of altcoins increases, it is necessary to choose the right currency by analyzing the market.

I think this is how Cryptocurrency market will continue to work in the short term. As number of altcoin keep increasing,  the number of fail altcoin is increasing as well balancing the amount of altcoin listed and doing well in Cryptocurrency.  In the long term period of  Cryptocurrency market,  I believe there will be fewer coin as a result of Cryptocurrency developments and adoption!

Now the crypto currency market has resumed its growth again and DeFi projects are increasing their popularity, especially projects in the financial sphere that help link cryptocurrency with fiat such as Eqifi.

Some will fail, some will succeed but guaranteed that only few of the many will succeed, hype is different from the real success, there are few altcoins now that have pumped but we can never assure that they will continue to grow, so it's really a big factor to look for the team and follow their development so we can make a timely decision.

I'm quite the opposite. in the long term, there will be developed for every platform running in the market.
The adoption of blockchain will be huge. but the development of the platform with the adoption of altcoins will of course compensate for it all.
altcoins will be more and more, but the growth potential will last very long. because adoption can become a monopoly of competing altcoin assets that have been previously registered on the market.

the freedom of the market also leads to this perhaps too many altcoins of which many are unnecessary anyone can create their own altcoin / token on any blockchain at a low price but perhaps this after all is not an absolute evil indeed a possibility of gain for those who know how to exploit it

The growth of the DeFi project proves that the future of cryptocurrencies is getting brighter. I think that won't happen because new projects and coins are coming every day and there is no regulation to make a coin, so it's free and all people could make it anywhere and anytime. So i think new coins are keep coming and in the future there are a tons of coins on the market and maybe there will be one top coin each sector.

i think i understand what you mean with this . lots of projects are like that that they are migrating to a new system . this is why lets try to check their groups for updates and dont just leave after you invest a coin .

What investors will do if we always follow the hype all the time, they will make a new one, if they make a profit from it, they will just leave the project and create a new one. many coins are increasing so I would go all in in this period. Not with all the coins, but there several projects which are low cost now, like XRP, XLM, RavenCoin, ADA, Graph etc.
These all are big coins . i will stay away from new coins.

90% of them are just useless or doesnt really have actual relevance or utility or simply copy cat from those top altcoins in the market and this is why as an investor you should really get rid nor consider out on buying

it's a decentralized space, everyone is free to do whatever they feel like doing, anyone can create a shitcoin and make shit ton of money from it just like dogecoin, a shitcoin at the start but surprisingly after several years it's current market cap is over a billion, in the end good coins with real utility will always be preferred by smart investors, not these noobs who are searching for 20x from a meme shitcoin.

between thousand new altcoin project , only 5% of them were real project and have product that will developt. and the rest as scam project which is will take our money down. sometime we will be the victime of this project and we have to due dilligent in every new project so our money will save . scam project team now have good skill , they make project looks reall and even bring it to medium exchanges or provide huge liquidity in cex.

Investing in alts takes dedication if you are serious into it, because you need your time to evaluate each project that you want to get involved with. And if you are holding a specific coin, you also need to keep up with their progress in terms of development. Because if they are having problem in delivering their targets, start thinking about discarding that coin. Because you may easily end up holding worthless coins. Don't think twice if your instincts is saying that the project is about to go down. Get out while you can still get something from your investments.

The fact there is anyone can just create a coin shill with much hype and good marketing boom the coin will sell out but most importantly it's good to know that coins with good use cases are the real MVP because the usability of the coin is what boost it's price and in a bear market coin like this can still be doing very well as far the token is still fulfilling it's purpose of creation and people are still buying.

True, most of the coins we have in the market today won't survive in the coming years, cause they don't have the incentive to keep the project alive, most projects launch with a one year roadmap and after that they are clueless and stop developing, so many coins will die since the project stop developing, the only coins that will be left will be coins with real utility, all these meme coins we have today would probably not be around in the next 5years.

We cannot prevent anyone from issuing coins. Anyone on the chain can issue coins.
There are currently countless altcoins issued. But there are also many altcoins that are dying.

yes completely true, I like your input and even I have reconsidered before investing in a new coin. I'm always researching new coins that my instincts find worthy of daily trading, then monitor the progress of the project and I'm starting to understand also when to buy or sell. I also don't want to be stuck in the same hole and leave immediately after making a profit.

There's no denying about the increase of altcoins, but the question is not the quantity, but on the quality.

Comparing to last bullish on 2017-2018 back then looks like current bullish was really giving some good exposure to the global market, The total Known Altcoin doubled with only 3 Years span and this was really good for the crypto market even though some of altcoin out there just an Pump & Dump Scheme or another exit scam but we can also see some good altcoin with Real use case out there Especially last 2 Years with DeFi, NFT, Decentralized Storage, CDN, etc. Well, Let's hope the quantity & quality will increase in the future!
