FAQ

Why do I need a bitcoin mixer?

Mixer breaks the connection between your transactions before and after using it. You send bitcoins from your address to the mixer address. After that the mixer sends you bitcoins from its premixed reserve. Bitcoins in this reserve have no connection to your addersses. An observer, analyzing the chain of transations in the blockchain, is unaware of the change in ownership of bitcoins, therefore any following bitcoins passed through the mixer is no longer practical. This way the mixer ensures the anonymity of your transaction in blockchain.

The service does not guarantee that the result of the mixing will have low risk score after the AML check. Therefore it is not recommended to send the coins you receive from mixing straight to the exchanges.

What is the difference between mixer fees?

• The higher the service fee you use, the higher the network fee the mixer will send you the result with.
• All fee values are dynamic, except for the minimum - it is fixed.
• Higher fees increase anonymity, as they are less common and less obvious to the analysis based on comparing transaction amounts.

Based on all this, it's usually recommended to use a fee above the minimum, and to choose from the rest according to your own needs.

What is the mixing code?

After your first mixing you will get the mixing code. You can use this code in next operations to be ensured that you will not receive the coins you've previously sent to Blender.io.

I closed the browser window. Where can I see the status of my mixing?

Copy the transaction hash, the mixer’s address or address you sent the funds from and paste it to the search bar of any blockchain explorer. In case the transaction sent to the mixer doesn’t have three confirmations, it means the mixer hasn't got the funds yet. Wait for three confirmations.

The result of mixing is sent after three confirmations are received and after the delay time is passed (the countdown starts after the third confirmation is received). Furthermore, in order to improve privacy the service can set an additional randomized delay with a duration of several minutes.

I sent a transaction to the mixer but it does not get confirmed for a long time. What can I do?

If your transfer stays unconfirmed for a long time, this means that you or the service from which you've sent bitcoins has set too low network fee for the transaction. In this case, the following solutions to the problem are possible:

• You can keep waiting for the transaction to confirm. Sometimes, it can take up to several days, but do not worry - the mixer will wait for the confirmation of the transaction and process your mixing;
• You can also speed up the transaction with a Replace-by-fee if your wallet supports this. The service correctly processes transactions re-issued with Replace-by-fee. Note! Do not use Replace-by-fee to speed up a mixer transaction if the mixer address has expired. The mixer may lose your payment and then the mixing will not be processed. In this case, you will have to contact the support and wait for the refund to be made, if technically possible.

Does the mixer clean bitcoins?

No. The mixer neither cleans bitcoins nor guarantees that the mixing result will have a low scoring risk and will not be blocked by an exchange. Sometimes the mixing result has a low scoring risk; however, it is not guaranteed and achieving a low risk is not the mixer’s primary function. The main goal of the mixer is to anonymize bitcoins by breaking the link between your transactions before and after the mixing.

Does Blender.io store logs?

Blender.io does not store any information about transactions completed within the service. All information is deleted after the result is successfully sent to the destination address.

What is the minimum amount for mixing and how is it calculated?

The minimum mixing amount for a destination address is 0.001 BTC. But in some cases, when you create a mixing with several destinations, this amount may be bigger. Please pay attention to the minimum amount when creating a mixing. It is located on the result page below the mixing address.

What is the maximum mixing amount?

This depends on the amount of coins in our reserve at the moment of mixing. The actual amount can be seen when you create a mixing. It is given on the last page, next to the mixer’s address.

I sent bitcoins to the mixer. The transaction was waiting for confirmation for a long time. After that, the period of validity of mixer’s address elapsed (after 24 hours), however, the transaction was not confirmed. Will I lose my bitcoins?

No. 24 hours is the period of time during which the mixer awaits your transaction in the network. After that the mixer will wait for confirmations until the transaction is processed or rejected by network. The mixing will be successfully completed after your transaction gets three confirmations.

I sent bitcoins to the mixer after the period of validity of mixer’s address elapsed (after 24 hours).

Contact the support and explain the situation. The support will make a refund if possible. If you have the Letter of Guarantee at hand, please attach it.

How does the mixer work?

Blender.io is a service that receives coins from you and gives you back other coins that not relate to you. By doing so, the mixer breaks the link between your operations before and after the use of mixer.

The coins you send get to the mixer reserve where they are mixed with other coins in several stages. The recipients you specify will get mixed coins from the reserve; those coins will not relate to you.

The mixer’s goal is to anonymize your transaction and break any links between your address (the sender’s) and the destination address.

How to use the mixer?

To transfer funds, on the main page, you need to specify one or more recipient addresses (also notice that a fee will be charged for each address), specify the delay and the distribution of funds between destination addresses. Then download a guarantee letter(this is important) and send funds to the address provided by the mixer. Pay attention to the minimum amount the mixer can process.

Can I trust Blender.io large amounts of bitcoins?

Our mixing model is properly tested and works perfectly. However, you can mix small coins portions if you have any doubts, to ensure step by step that everything is crystal clear.

I'm not doing anything illegal. Why do I need to use mixer?

No, you do not need to be a politician with hoards of black money in order to use Blender.io or mix coins. Neither do you need to be a person involved in any kind of illegal activity. You may simple mix your coins to:
1.   De-link them from the exchange transactions for security reasons.
2.   Just keep them anonymous in general.
3.   Send money from one wallet to many different wallets in a fizzy!

I'm sorry, but what reputation exactly? That you haven't scammed anyone yet? You're posting this from a newb account.

Might be an idea to escrow a certain amount of bitcoins by someone that is trusted within this forum to improve your reputation just a little bit.

IIRC, there was a mixing service that used a trusted forum member to escrow a certain amount of coins, all to ensure that in case the service doesn't pay out, the escrow funds would cover that amount. So yeah, this is basically the only way to prove that you're here to conduct fair business as mixing service.

Considering the fact that no one will ever entrust over 100BTC to a freshly started service, why not have a chunk of these funds be held by an escrow? It would definitely give future users of your service a peace of mind.

And they exit scammed at the end LOL. If someone is going to use an escrow to gain trust, they NEED to let everybody know that they will remove the escrow several days before they do it. Otherwise, they can wait until they get a good amount of coins, get the escrowed coins back and run.

That seems extremely clumsy if not borderline untrustworthy from the escrow provider. I've vaguely heard about this story, but i can't remember what mixer/escrower this was about?

Zazarb announces that he returned BITMIXCOIN’s Bitcoins.

A few days later users started to post in the mixer thread saying that they got scammed (from 0.03BTC to 16BTC stolen). Just check the last pages of their thread. We confirmed that they scammed someone’s 16BTC and BITMIXCOIN ran away.

Currently, Blender.io supports P2PKH (starting with 1) and P2SH (starting with 3, SegWit compatible) standard addresses. The BC1 standard is relatively new and might have compatibility issues. At the moment, it is being tested by the team and will be supported as soon as the testing is complete.

At this moment the service holds 217 BTC, which is visible during the second step of mixing, where a user receives an address. The max amount is different at various points in time. Don't know how good your service is, seems it's not so popular among people, maybe will test in future but to be fair many mixers work well, main idea is how trustworthy they are. As I see, you have Iphone X giveway but since you are here to offer bitcoin mixer and protect our anonimity, isn't such gateway a little bit bad? Because to receive Iphone, we have to provide our data (adress/receiver) and you know who are most of your users. This is a cross between anonimity and identity.

For long term potential growth, it depends on many things, including how long that campaign will last, and how good the service and its customer service are.

Just come here to say that I tested your services with small amount hours ago and I did received the funds already. Got curious about your services when I see that you have opened a signature campaign. So my review is that it went smooth on my end, even get a promo code for my next try. I didn't do any configurations though, just how it is presented, although I set the minimum service fee to 0.5.

I havent tried their service though but i might consider on testing it up later on.Just got curios for this new mixer when i do also saw their signature.
Blender is the name which do reminds me on the old good mixing service Bitblender.Hopefully this one would able to survive as it operates.

For new user of the service, I think the following point in FAQ is worthy to note:
Sometimes, people who use mixer service for the first time will not notice it nor not read FAQs or ToS, and they save their deposit addresses to use repeatedly.
The Blender.io service only accepts one generated deposit address within 24 hours at maximum. Beyond 24 hours, users have to generate new deposit addresses.

Looks like the clearnet link is working today, it had been down for the last couple of days.  The .to and the .onion sites were working fine during that time.  I hope it was due to all the traffic the new sig campaign was generating.  ;D

Anyway, I was unaware of blender.io before Hhampuz started the campaign, so I'd say it's working already.  I've been playing with the service for the last couple of days, and I like the simplicity and ease of use.  

I don't normally feel the need to mix my coins, but the service is invaluable when one does feel the need.  It's nice to have blender.io as an alternative to the big boys across the street.  Just having options is also nice, for a while it seemed like their was only one trustworthy service around.

Introducing a scoring model



We at Blender.io believe that the increasing expansion of so-called blockchain analysis services (BAS) poses the direst threat to the anonymity and privacy of Bitcoin users.

That's why we are starting a set of improvements today by introducing a scoring model, which is intended to fight blockchain analysis services. The scoring model brings a new algorithm of labelling transaction inputs.

The scoring model adds a mixing code based score to each input and recalculates scores each time an outgoing transaction is made, based on the input and output amounts of the transaction proportionally. This approach is similar to the one used for bitcoin labelling in above-mentioned BAS, so it happens that Blender uses BAS approaches to withstand analysis and provide more privacy to our customers.

Starting this update, not only the presence of a mixing code on a transaction input plays role on a decision whether it will be sent to a customer or not, but also it's score.

What does it mean to a customer? There are two main aspects:

    — much more transaction security: the number of mixing cycles for each user now has unpredictable nature;
    — there is no way BAS can now determine if your bitcoins are back to you: even if it happens, it's part in a transaction will be small enough to be a statistically indistinguishable from a random ocassion.

Of course, all this will work for you only if you always use your mixing code.

IMO, in general mixing service are in demand because people like to maintain their privacy and they love to mix coins, if Chipmixer were able to pay a big budget for their marketing in the forum, that says they are really profitable and it's not impossible for this project to be profitable too.

The rep profile was active just 3 days ago so i think they are reachable. They are sometimes online only that they don't post that often but they also have an active signature campaign that pays relatively well for just 15 posts per week.

I think bitcoin mixing business is profitable if you establish ground. The only problem is the risk involved in this kind of business. I remember the likes of bitblender and bestmixer back then before they had to forcefully shut down, they were making a tone of money.

Yeah, they do have but for the information of everyone the last payment they should have pay to the participants hasn't not been paid yet. It's almost a week now but there is no updates yet in regards to that. I don't know what's the case right now but I guess they should attend their community and be more active.

That's really very unprofessional behavior from blenderio, no activity for more than 5 days now. They at least could have shared an update here with Hhampuz. No refill to the wallet even the week has been finished. I was also a participant of blender sig campaign and suggested blender to some of the forum people but seems like I must not be.

It's not about not paying only. If I was about to complain about the payment, I would do it to Hhampuz because we get payment from Hhampuz I guess. It's about keeping in touch with the campaign manager and share a little update so that CM can share it to the participants. Now, we have no clue about the campaign, nor about the payment.

I love the idea and the features of your wallet but i think it will be better if you created the desktop and mobile version of it cause i once read that web wallet are somehow vulnerable to attack.

Blender.io is a mixer, and a mixer is not a web wallet. It is what it is=> a mixer. The vulnerabilities you're thinking about with a web wallet don't exist with a mixer. Mainly because there is no account that you can create.

I tested to create my wallet (do it with Tor)

- Create account
- Set up mnemonic passphrase (choose create encoded mnemonic)
- Get 24 mnemonic seeds
- Enable 2FA (or skip and create wallet).
- Save 4 codes to unlock wallet (if 2FA is lost).
- Finish.

- Login wallet
- Create BTC wallet: 2 types of wallet Segwit address (3) or Segwit native address (bc1). Only 2 types and there is no wallet for Legacy address.

Official statement from a Blender Wallet representative regarding the spreading information about scammers offering to increase your BTC with Blender Wallet:

"Today, we began to receive requests about multiplying bitcoins with the help of Blender Wallet.

We did not declare such functionality. And multiplying BTC in the blockchain is technically impossible.

Blender Wallet added the cancellation of the transaction in a single click Replace-By-Fee. :)

Replace-By-Fee works based on the transaction prioritization mechanism:

1. The user sent 1 BTC and set a commission of 0,00001 BTC.
2. Miners did not include the transaction in the next block, because they prioritized transfers with a higher commission.
3. The user used RBF to speed up the transaction: Once again, I sent 1 BTC to the same address, but with a commission of 0.00002 BTC.
4. Miners included the second transaction in the block.
5. The bitcoin network removed the first transaction from the mempool.

Blender.io team created their tumbler service and later, months ago they created the Blender wallet. It allows you to use 24 mnemonic seeds (not 12)

Blender wallet supports many BIPs and I think you can import Blender wallet to Electrum.

In Electrum, you must click on Option, choose BIP39. I tested it and can import it to Electrum with seed from Blender wallet.

About 2fa so far so good, I got the correct address even I used with or without 2fa when I restore it to another wallet.

the problem is we can't restore from another wallet to Blenderwallet.

It doesn't affect service's functionality.

Their situation seems to be getting from bad to worse if this is true. Just last month, they claimed their wallet (Blender wallet) which i believe is part of them got hacked and 100 BTC was stolen


They said that they were in the process of refunding the victims, but if this can happen to a mixer and their wallet. I don't think it gives any much confidence using their services at this point.

Glad to know that your problem has been resolve, however i found it horrible how such an error could happen with one of the trusted mixers in the market nowadays. Usually, we prefer working with a mixer who has the fastest algorithm and the fatest response from support as well.
I can imagine for how long your logs were stored in their servers before solving the issue and how you were forced to publish the transaction details after not receiving any answer from the support team. I can also imagine how this could happen with someone ignorant who doesn't know about saving a letter of garantee or the session sode, this could also happen with someone using the service frequently who used not to do so after many successful operations.
I hope this won't happen again .

The issue has been resolved, it was associated with a rare situation related to the network fee spikes.
All result transfers are prepared and will be sent according to the specified in the mixing delay, which has to be counted out from this morning, not from your payment's first confirmation (as usual).

I don't think that using telegram for mixing bitcoins is a good idea.
In addition to many scams and fake accounts in telegram, you are basically connecting your phone number and your locations with specific bitcoin addresses and transactions.
Some people don't care to research, but Telegram servers are holding all information, ALL chats and groups are public and not encrypted in any way... except maybe separate secret chat between mobile devices.

We recommend to use rented phone number for these purposes, NOT your personal account.
