The current market uncertainty really worries me, BTC is very deep correction, it's like a spinning wheel and now all crypto or stocks are experiencing market sluggishness. Expert speculation was tested but the market is only predictable and not entirely true, and I still feel pessimistic for the end of this year, but hopefully it will improve again.

If you are not including an early supporter of crypto and then i know about what are you thinking about this dude. Have you watched the whole history of crypto? I suggest you to see the whole history of bitcoin and then you will know about where from the cryptocurrency has started dude.

It is definitely worth looking at the longer term charts for perspective.
Yes, this year has seen a big drop, but we are still up on where we were for much of 2017.
And prices do seem to be stabilising now, look at the bitcoin charts for the last 12 months and you'll see that it has bounced back several times from the same low point.

Markets that go up and down and make people feel loss or disappointment, actually when compared to a few years ago where bitcoin was lower than today, then you will not worry or regret, because the market development and prices are better and have a safe value especially bitcoin.

It's true that today's prices are better than last year but today is also bad news for altcoins whose prices have dropped nearly 10 times more

I'de been around in crypto space for a long time which started a small value until it exploded but never come up in my mind that the correction will last longer as what I expected, anyway, as what the general conclusion in the community, everything has an ending, so cheer up dude.

I am also worried about the uncertainty of the cryptocurrency market. Already it was fixed one price and did not fall. At least some certainty was used in the market.

Since the emergence of the cryptocurrency market a few years back, this sustained level of self correction has never been witnessed except for this year. Quite unimaginable that from the beginning of the year to now that we are at the end of the year, the bear state has continued to define the market.
Despite the ugly development, it's impossible to write-off the market because I foresee a bounce back in the horizon.

I think it is okay to feel pessimistic but surely everything will be good because there is no way for crypto market to die. just wait.

I suggest to all new members here that look at the whole history of crypto, I understand what you feel in this market condition but the only thing you should do is make a research and you will see that this is a normal.

When watching it it seems like its taking forever.  But I think the money will return.  When God closes the door he opens a window.  Grab all the cheap crypto you can.  That is what I am doing.

actually all feel the same thing, which is anxious. anxiety may actually be. but our anxiety must be opposed. because actually anxious affects our negative thinking about a problem.

I am equally worried that all the important news we were having this days could not translate into bullish market.  We are at the time were Alot of speculations are coming into the market and I think technically there is no directions. However,  I believe that 2018 should be seeing as a correction year and we should hope that from next year we would start to have bull run.  Many investors buy bitcoin above $10,000 and I am seeing bitcoin not falling below $5,000 as the selling pressure are decreasing.

Once read someone bought his first Bitcoin at $30 and it crashed right to $2 shortly after. But he still did hodl and he became better for it. Checking the history of Bitcoin shows that the current market conditions isn't new at all. There's no certainty in almost any market, because that will make it a perfect market which in the real world is not existent.

If you don't have time and patience, it's very hard to watch your investment. Blind investment is very hard. You must know at least the basics of Stock Market. Could be Crypto, Nasdaq etc.

The market is predictable? no its not. You can predict but not all of those predictions are accurate. No one stops you for being pessimistic for this year, that's your opinion so no one can argue with that. But the end hasn't ended yet and there's few more months left to see if there will be a reversal or none. I'm still expecting something great at the end of the year, analyzing what happened for this year can give you a view on what is about to happen soon.

This is the attribute/property of cryptocurrency that we need to embrace. Volatility creates opportunity for everyone to earn as long as we know how to manage our portfolio. If crypto will become stable then there is no chance for us to earn here so many people will leave and go back to the real world.

Not only that but we have more bad news will come in the future, Bitcoin ETF should be the next bad thing for crypto. so many people are putting a lit of their believe in the bitcoin ETF. I'm really sure if that will be rejected by SEC and then we will see SEC will try to announced it dude in the next month.

true because indeed it will never end or die as long more investors keep buying cheap bitcoin . So instead of worrying put more patience or grab this opportunity to buy if you have money that not needed at the moment, to become profitable in the future!. Its really a cycle there will be time for pump and dump but what will matter os how we manage our coins to be beneficial of its use. We can earn even the market isn't in good condition.

btc fell just three times from its maximum. it's not much compared to other coins.

The market condition for the Bitcoin is now in a stable mood. Maybe this is the button for the bear market. But, for the token market, you need to trade cautiously. The token market is down because of most of the flop ICOs are coming these days.

If you don't want emotions then don't look at the market, but still, focus on the coins you hold and positive news about crypto. Indeed, the market wheel is spinning and the coin is sometimes above sometimes under no one knows. Just hope that it always improves.

I don't look into my portfolio value for even a week sometimes so I would get affected by the price drop. I'm positive it will recover but I would sometimes sell alt and transfer funds to a better investment or better altcoin that is pumping on exchange to at least profit from that.

My suggestion is that someone holding BTC price because of etfs. They have to show that BTC is stable and not very volatile. So we will see good price change only after ETF decisions.

Be positive my friend the market will be surely positive but keep in mind this industry runs on the news, trends and hype such as listing on big exchanges or partnership or testnet/mainnet take example of this coins
1) pumapay (PMA) :- Pumapay listed on bitrex and the price got 4x
2) Nexo :- indeed Nexo is one the best lending platform project presently and expected to launch on Binance soon. When they got appreciation from the Binance CZ on twitter the price spiked around 5x.
3) Ravencoin :- price of the ravencoin spiked around 5x due to listing on Binance.

There is still opportunities you need to find that and the market looks very stable presently with so many good news such as Bakkt launching institutional grade exchange which will attract lot of institutional investors. Hopefully we will see bull run in the month of December.

Although I can understand that looking at it most especially when you have bought during FOMO can really be very devastating and emotionally draining, so if you know as a person that you cannot cope with such emotions, just look for a cold storage and keep your funds there, while coming back in the long run to see how things have been. Well this is how things are and had been. We had falls all along the journey so far. One of the biggest fall back in 2013 was very hard for the investors because back then the demand for the coin was not that much high so it kind of hurt the market immensely. Eventually things recover as a result of the dynamic nature of the market which is very important for the market correction. So yes this down market has an adverse impact on the invested money but it will be reversed once we have green streaks.

There is no word to regret when deciding to invest. Cryptocurrency has become a popular place to invest and lasso has many people who also benefit greatly from crypto currency. I am also starting to think that this year might not be a year for crypto. Its not that confusing as we see the market now, its giving us the idea that the market has been down for a very long time (not that long but nearly a year).
And this gives everyone an opinion that this year isn't going to be the year of crypto and worst, crypto might not recover from this correction.

It may be unpleasant to you, but for some of us it is actually very pleasant. Probably you should be seeing the market in different light and stop fighting it most of the time. When you see a downtrend like this, it gives you an opportunity to buy and when you start seeing people get extremely greedy, it gives you an opportunity to sell.

The basic truth is that a lot of people do not always get to understand these things, and instead, they keep going against the right thing to do in the market by buying when everyone is getting greedy and selling when everyone is panicking. The funny thing most of the time is that it usually hurts when the market is in a downtrend and a lot of people even panic and bail out during this period with an assumption that there is actually nothing anymore for the market, but do you know what hurts the more ?

Coming back few years’ time and see that even by picking the lows right now, you have still ended up missing a huge chance panicking for no reason and not believing in the long term potential of what you hold. That is what I see people who are so much concentrating on the market condition at the moment and rather than taking advantage of it for the long term, they are just busy panicking for no reason.

The value of a cryptocurrency can change very fast, but with time one can see that the volume of transaction has gone up while the volatility has kept dropping. It remains to be seen if this trend will continue. The chance of a significant correction in price has to be kept in mind. Sad to those who invest in the fourth quarter of 2017 because they probably loose some because the market didn't move as what they have been expected. Well, they take the risk and we can't blame them because this is cryptocurrencies, everything can be happen whether it is good or bad. It was only because of many predictions, so I waited for BTC value in 2018, but I found that it is no longer earnest, because the BTC is currently only at 6400 $, too low and without foundation. What causes them to surge dramatically in December of 2018?

yeap, volumes are falling down, prices are dumping or at least wont grow at all. every month coinmarketcap add about 150 new coins/tokens and market cap of all market anyway falling down. maybe etf will change something, but i dont know really

It is indeed a huge problem to the investors. Many investors are now hesitating to invest on any crypto and even on ICOs which makes it hard for the projects to succeed on their crowdsale. It negatively affects the outcome resulting for the failure of the project itself or sometimes delay or pause of the sale. On cryptos in general, since there are no investors at this moment, cryptos are having a hard time to recover.

Patience is a virtue this time, the market condition gives us a test of how long our patience are, but to those who never quit,  they would probably win in the future. Hopefully, that the next bullrun, would come in the next coming months, honestly i am little bit worried because the value of my assets really really down.

I think it is high time people started seating back to ask themselves some reflective question on where they are actually getting it all wrong. This is a market, conditions like this are normal, but because a lot of you are simply just looking for quick ways to get rich, and hop in based on the predictions you see by joining FOMO, without even getting to understand the market and doing your own research, you get stuck in a mess, and instead of realizing that, know you have made some mistakes, make some amends by taking advantage of the price for the long term, you get frustrated for nothing.

I have said in the previous few months, the market will not return to stability in the near future. currently there are many threads that hope December is a savior of growth. but the possibility is very small, we can see the indicator and analyze it, and the results of the predictions, like you say

Don't say that it won't grow at all. It might not be moving in your eyes but there's a slow motion.
We don't know what can ETF bring but that's one what the community is waiting for.
But I don't think it will have the impact that everyone is expecting.

i dont think that something movin up, there are about 150 new coins/tokens added to coinmarketcap each month, i guess thats only that give a overall market cap sum to be about 200-210 billions, but maybe im wrong, of course its just a opinion of simple user   :)

Dont worry and dont bury crypto ahead of time. Correctly people wrote above that you should just look at the graphics of some coins and you will understand that there is nothing wrong with falling prices. Yes, it may take a long time, but in the end we are waiting for another growth, I assure you.

I'm not really getting with those new coins and it really doesn't matter if they keep on adding at this time.
But soon they are going to be lessen due to the fluctuation of best coins such  as bitcoin.
It has effect for now but all of those market cap from those new coins will go big coins like bitcoin.
