BTC is still falling to the pit and I want to know the reasons behind it and do you think it will go down more!

There's no specific reason for the fall, infact all the coins are down as the market is slow. If it turn hot then the entire coin will start pumping, I still believe it will recover from the next month and rally till 15k atleast. Lets hope for the best.

The reason for the fall in prices for Bitcoin is the same as the reason for the rise in prices for Bitcoin. I don't know her, and you? I do not quite understand the cryptocurrency pricing system. are you imagining things or are you actually in some place that is offering bitcoin at lower prices? because on all of the bitcoin exchanges that are legit and popular the  bitcoin price is the same as it was for the past 2 or 3 months. stable.

Bitcoin falls due to whale price speculation such as major miners and exchanges also because of futures. It may also fall due to traders who are in a short position. But still the whole cryptocurrency market is very dependent on the SEC decision on Bitcoin ETF. If there is a positive current decision, we hope the drop trend will be broken.

Crypto market is exactly the same market as other, some people/organizations want to make money and I think now they are preparing for a new bull market. I think BTC can't go down more because the current price is the min price that covers mining costs

This kind of question is not a good answer, but everyone still has great expectations for ETF. If ETF can accept BTC, then I believe we will usher in a bull market. I hope we can see the bull market instead of seeing it continue to drop

I think the reason why Bitcoin can't grow fast is mainly from the new altcoin, because the new altcoin is constantly absorbing the money of investors!

I believe that falling btc is a natural behavior of the market . After its peak, the price tends to its bottom . All this is supported by background information . And the next step is again maximum price . The way it works.

AFAIK, the price has been stable for the last couple of months so I don't understand you saying negatively about the price. I would have to believed if you says is Ethereum, but Bitcoin? No and the only reason is that there's no demand right now or the demand is weak and investor most probably are waiting before they enter the market again.

The current price of Bitcoin looks very stable since 3 to 4 months between 6000$ to 7000$, also the Bitcoin is looking quite immune because of good news like Bakkt and fidelity exchange which will bring out more capitals into the cryptocurrency market. We are experiencing this bear market since almost 10 months and for this bear market obvious reasons are manipulation, crypto exchange hacking like bithumb and coinrail, unclear regulations on cryptocurrency handling.

about the price that falls today there is certainly a cause, but bitcoin will also rise again in the coming year, many reliable traders predict so even though the increase rate is very difficult to guess.

Falling to the pit? it isn't falling to the pit, if it is then it will go below $1000 but its not and the price is still $6,000 above.

Well, according to me, and i am nobody, Bitcoin attracted alot more attention then it should have and to tackle it the price was forced down. Im not sure if im true to 100% but it does look like that as we approach the year end it could be that whales are now trying to manipulate the market and making the prices go down by themselves. There are hardly any reason behind the fall of the price of Bitcoin in the market. In fact, the price of all the coins in the market is down now. They all share the same reason, and that reason is hard to detect in a volatile market like crypto.

Bitcoin's price is not really falling; it is not rising but it is quiet stable. The whole crypto market is a bit slow at the moment. But we have seen a little pump a week ago. We hope the situation will turn to positive before the new year.

This was due to bearish market in which its currently still in effect that some say we are still in the middle of it but i believed that the $6,000 is the final price bottom that hopefully the market price will bounce back now as we have already long waited for a very long time period of this bearish market performance.

maybe bitcoin and the whole crypto universe needs the support from goverment and large institutions to get moving up.  the government and banks are among the reasons why bitcoin is held back to where it is today from its all time high.

We really dont know what is the reason of falling of bitcoin it seems it is still keep down that is why all the other coins fall down too. But i believe bitcoin now is down but maybe in next few months it rise again.

Changes will always occur and that proves that the Bitcoin market will have tremendous influence. The decline and increase in prices will always occur and it will not always stagnate because there will be momentum when prices increase and there is also momentum when prices decline. The impact on the direction of the Altcoin movement is also very large, as we know that now Bitcoin is the main choice currency and when there is a movement to the price of Bitcoin it will automatically move the price of Altcoin.

I believe that btc market has been steady ranging from 6.2K to 6.6K for a long period of time where in my observation, this could have been a btc stable market since it has not dropped beyond the 6K level. Considering this is now in bearish market and seems to me that the correction period could have been a bit longer and perhaps this is in preparation for the expected bullish market that may soon to experience in the coming months. Lastly, btc is not falling and definitely it will make another ATH before the year end.

It will always be the law of demand and supply that determine the price of bitcoin. There are a lot of people selling bitcoin now which contributed to the dip and whether it will plunge further, that remain to be seen because we don't have crystal ball to see the future.

I just saw the chart that bitcoin price already in correction area, need more time to know what will bitcoin do. If it falling down to $5500 below, the trend is change. But if bitcoin can hit $7000 it still has chance to grow.

After the recent spike where BTC had a 12% increase, its price is playing around $6500 for the past two weeks. The steady movements are somehow considered bearish because there is no significant increase yet. You should not say like this. Because the price already up little bit. We should believe that the price will get better soon. We can not determinate what is the exactly reason. But I believe that the price will grow. Just hold it! Keep wait and learn the market situation.

The reason I read from several online sites is that regulations are still unclear in many countries, as well as frequent break-ins.

The time is behind of this. The end of each year always have such changes and there is not something surprising or bad. It will get its profit quite later.

I am not sure whether we are in the same market together, or probably you are seeing an entirely different chart, but one thing I can see at the moment right now is just the market trying to find a direction and not a market that is falling to a pit like you have so called it. Even though it ends up falling to a pit, it still valuable and that is all that matters and knowing how valuable it is, is what would make you to easily picture the long term and take advantage of the fallen prices now. The reason behind the present correction is just that it is normal and healthy and I do not know why a lot of people just do not get that.

I guess most of the time, we always get to put some reasons that best suits us as people and then we tend to not realize the fact that this is a market and as long as a market shoots up and gets over bought, the chances of a reversal is something that is normal. We are in a corrective phase, and I do not see any market that has gone to the pit like the OP mentioned, and anyone who knows that this is just for the mean time, they will understand pretty well that this is a market that has been growing over the years, and it has obviously not stopped growing as far as I am concerned.

No one know the reason but I believe will still goes down at lest until end of the year. I use MACD and RSI to predict market trend and that's the result, so prepare your self for the worst. If you need cut loss just do it because prediction can be wrong and maybe bitcoin will never comes up again.

What i see has the major reason behind falling of bitcoin is that People are not investing , people don't meet what they expect and people are not ready to lose there money.

currently its not falling much. i can remember once BTC was stable at $400 and it went to $3000+ within few months. now also its stable at $6000 and soon we will see it climb back to all time high

I think it's a correction and we just need to wait a little bit. Now the situation may change for the better so that the usual expectation will be the best solution in this market. Other reasons I not see now

It will all just be a wild guess. If they are basing on technical analysis it is not that accurate too but there might be a chance it could happen. Count all the trading website by now. It has grown to full scale that you cannot monitor every trades that will happen by now.

Might as well just go with the flow or keep holding.

Last week, the BTC fell without there was no reason, but luckily for us its price did not fall below 6200$. When it fell below 6250$, it went back up to 6400$ today. In November we still have the opportunity to see the BTC go up and can reach 8000$

As far as I understand, the pricing system includes the amount of demand and the level of hype around cryptocurrencies. But still it is not clear what exactly most affects the price, because it can be whales who drowned cryptocurrency down the first six months in 2018.

I think because of it is being delay on like accepted from local governments that it being a valid currency at that country and of course the investors can't find a right timing to buy which means pumping will be delayed.

In fact BTC is behaving like a stable coin for months. It is moving  in the  range of $6.3k - $6.6k . SEC postponed ETF to
29th Dev. At least they did not reject it and it is a positive news mowing forward.

As the time you wrote this thread it was October and i think the bitcoin price backed in October comparing today is the same and it was stabilized at $6300+ level and the ETF issue is one of the cause of this dip. but  i believe its just temporary as soon as ETF issue will address it will be back to normal.

Many are actually the reasons behind the fall of Bitcoin. in my personal opinion, there are large numbers of users who sell Bitcoin and other crypto on a large scale in a relatively short time and cause a lot of decline against Bitcoin. Not to mention those who panicked and chose to sell Bitcoin, which caused the price of Bitcoin to fall.

I think that after the February drawdown, further price collapse was caused only by whales, as I can understand that after a strong growth as it was a year ago, there should be a correction, but the coreection could not be so significant.

It is because of the bad news regarding on the update of bitcoin's ETF. Because before the news, the investors are accumulating hard on bitcoin, because they hope that it would pass the ETF. But turns out the other way around, causing some major sell and panic sell, for bitcoin price to go down.

You are joking? Bitcoin can not fall because of the next useless altcoin which has no value and does not cause interest among investors. This is most likely due to bad news.

Not only BTC the entire coins are down and the entire crypto community is disappointed with this. Investors were eagerly waiting for the last quarter but they losing hope slowly as there is no improvement in the CMC, the entire altcoins are dependent on BTC. If it goes up then other altcoins will shine, few say the secret behind this fall is whales are playing a key role here. Few say competition in coins are more and demand and supply is low. In my opinion, no one knows exactly why the price of BTC is down, now the market is bleak and I think that every market has ups and downs and prosperity and electronic money too. At present they are declining and it is possible that 2019 will grow again.

It always goes down and up, just because it goes down a bit there is no point on getting excited or scared. You can be rest assured that bitcoin will go both directions all the time. It will never be sort of coin that will either stay the same or at least move one direction, it will definetly move to all directions possible.

It goes up (like we saw last year when it hit 20 thousand dollars) it goes down (like we saw going down to 6 thousand dollars) and it goes sideways (like it has been for the past 5 months). Bitcoin usually goes down when there is someone that sells a lot of bitcoin at once or at least there is a market scare about something and people sell to get out, thats the only reason, more bitcoins sold than bought which causes the market to drop to cover the difference.

One reason for the fall in the price of bitcoin is the negative news that has been circulating out there. So that makes people or investors a little worried about the situation. I actually thought and also hoped otherwise, "When is this situation improving?"

Consider from how much has been loosing by bitcoin and it's not a lot. Bitcoin is still on its way, as far as i know etf is not the only way to get a lot of investors from teh US. there was a lot of ways to try.

for me is the delay ETF result where most of the whales and big names in the industry are playing safe to enter the undecided market. if we have a good news regarding etf and other regulation on cryptocurrency then this will be the confirmation that we are waiting for the bull run.

I'm sure that you will receive many answers for the reasons behind falling Bitcoin price, currently governments is looking towards Bitcoin suspiciously, and whales are collecting bitcoin as much as the could indirectly through trading Altcoins so they keep bitcoin at the low level if we can say that.

All very simply went large uncles who wanted to control everything, but did not want to buy at high prices,and the market was first lowered to go low,and the second to drive as many people as possible from this market,and then the governments of all countries will introduce the digital economy,all under control,taxes,the movement of digital tokens,and legalization,and then you can already in space prices,but all again in their hands!

Maybe this will sound like conspiracy theory. I think that there are a lot of government facilities that are mining bitcoin and probably some altcoins and that they dont pay electricity at all! North Korea is best example for that.
They have huge amounts of coal that they can't export and they can produce electric power with it, and dump all that they mine everyday and get sum of money that is unimaginable to them!

I think the reason why the price of bitcoin is falling down because there are now a lot of countries who started to banned bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that causes to lose a lot of investors and i think people started to sell their bitcoins after the price of bitcoin reaches to $20,000 last year of 2017.

I think manipulation by the whales is the main reason why it is going down because they have enough capital to allow the movement of crypto in their hands that is why they can do whatever they want.

Where are you reading all these misleading information? I have been watching bitcoin's price and it is going around 6,400 for some time. It is not really falling, it crashed before because some crazy investors created bubble because of FOMO which popped and now some people think bitcoin is falling which isn't even close to reality.

I also cannot understand why the price is still moving down, because there are so much great news and announcements that are going to happen in November and December. I think the market is still manipulated by some whales.

Actually its say to hard but i think altcoin depend on bitcoin. I was analysis about crypto market and found when bitcoin are down that time altcoin are down on the other hand, when bitcoin are increase that time altcoin are rose. So i think it's connected to bitcoin.

Yes, the reason lies in the manipulators of the market, it's all temporary at the moment, when institutional investors will show interest, and this will happen very soon we will see it in the news.
