So it's been pretty clear for a month now that the bear market is over and we are in the accumulation phase between bear and bull markets. When do you think the next bull market will begin? I see two possible scenarios, either it starts in November with the release of BAKKT and because by the end of October the price will have clearly broken through the bear market downtrend line, or if the market isn't ready for a bull market yet it'll just continue trading sideways until perhaps January or February at which point we'll see a pop up to $7000s and $8000s to start the bull market.


My conservative guess is February, but my hopeful guess is November.

Why so many people are excited about Bakkt?It's a centralized project that will create "bitcoin tokens" backed by bitcoins.It's kinda similar to Tether,but with bitcoins,instead of US dollars.Such projects are doomed to fail.
My guess for a big bull run is the end of 2019 or maybe 2020,after the halving.

i haven't really looked into Bakkt that much but this is the first time i hear this ("creating tokens") thing. what i have heard is that it is more like a regular exchange where you can buy/sell bitcoin anywhere.

in any case when it comes to rise, it doesn't matter what it is. what matters is the hype. like the Futures which brought hype and it wasn't even good for bitcoin! but it caused a huge rise. and Bakkt can act the same and initiate the rise. and if price gets out of this stable channel the money will come back with confidence.

In my opinion we will have in 2019 begining of bull run and pick in 2020 after halving. Than another dump. Halwing will be good for whales to dump coins on fomo demand.

If I choose the upcoming time of the bull market, then I think it must be approved after the ETF, because this is the most valuable way I have seen this year!

I can not say that we are seeing an obvious reversal of the market and just can not say that the bearish trend has ended. Still, you need to wait. There is always an opportunity to fall even lower, but still I am positive and I hope in the middle of November all cryptocurrencies will rise.

If BAKKT will be the catalyst then it should be around a week before the actual offering date. Or at least around 1st-2nd week of November we're going to see some semblance of a bull run and do hope that the price could at least 5 digit. But if the news around the BAKKT physical bitcoin offerings didn't material because the bear still control the market, then its anyone guess. Obviously, what we can do is expect that some positive things will come 2019 and expect big in 2020 for the halving.

If you guys have not noticed yet the bull market for bitcoin is always some time after the halving it takes some time for the supply drop to really kick in but it always happens!
and then every altcoin just follows suit same thing every time every 4 years pattern happens it will happen again next one is probably the last one considering the high market cap we are at though last chance to get in.

I also don't think if that BAKKT will help to make the market goes up, as of now the price was at maintain range price we could not easily predict the possible happen due to many whales trying to control the market price. Yes, you are right we expect the possible thing that either this year end or next year bitcoin will raise up more than our expectation. The question is are you ready for the upcoming bull run? Have you invested more bitcoin in your portfolio? Aren't you?

I don't think bitcoin will reach $8k by November, I know that most of us expect that to happen and even $8k is enough for us to have a good amount of bitcoin. As what I can see, bitcoin will just at the average of $6k-$7k by this year, and if the market will go up more than that then I will say it is a bonus for all of us before Christmas or New Years Day.  ;D

If we keep having a high hope for BAKKT, because it is going to create a bitcoin token or something, that may not get price anywhere just as we have seen with different adoption and regulation but we are still at $6,500. However, the bull time for me is in 2019, this year is just going to consolidate at the price we have now.

Mid 2019 we’ll start a slow grind upwards to around 10k - 12k but the real fireworks usually start 6 months after the halving. We’ll likely see north of 40k per coin mid 2021.

If the bottom isn't in already, it will be in before the end of Q2 in 2019, and with the block halving in mind, I expect that we will see a rapid price increase to break $10,000 once and for all.

I don't expect the price to break $20,000 next year, but if it happens anyway, it's a welcome bonus. That's without taking Bakkt or a potential ETF approval into consideration. If Bakkt does what people think it will do, it will help speed up the process of marking a new all time high significantly.

We should aim to have a slower form of growth this time, because Bitcoin's network isn't capable of going through yet another bull run. Scaling wise we're a bit further now, but it's just a ~25% improvement that will prove to be peanuts if you really put it to the test. The last thing we want is to yet again see that Bitcoin isn't ready for more growth. :-\

I don't see any clear signs that the bear market is over, the price hasn't gone down but it hasn't actually recovered yet. The sideways trading just shows it has bottomed out but we are still in a low market cap and if it hasn't risen, it could go down

This year bear market is continuously affecting the crypto investment but trading is the best opportunity in this situation because still all are earn good profit in trading platform and next bull run is start from December so keep calm or stay here in crypto investment surely it will going to moon. I think many peoples are loose the hope in crypto platform so we should create a awareness of crypto technology then only it will recover in future. I hope end of the year we should expect 2x marketcap in crypto platform.

I agree with everyone, if the ETF gets passed than we will see a bull run. However there is another option, even if the etf doesn't get approved we still have some time at our hands enough to actually pump it ourselves with a hype train. If we can manage to make other people believe that the price usually goes up during late November early December like last year than we can get it to a higher price by just that hype.

In order to do that we need a collective "get your bitcoins before its too late" campaign and try to make sure everyone is working together on not selling their coins for a while until the price hits to a new all time high. If we can hold our coins and not sell than the price automatically needs to go up, right now we are dropping in price or staying still because sellers are too many, if we can manage to make sure they are not selling than the price will go up.

this is like the safest speculation that you can make about bitcoin that will have the highest chance of coming true!

in any case, what i think is that the rising trend will start pretty soon and we will see the bull run follow it up as soon as the fear went out of the market. this can simply be early 2019 bull run and mid 2019 we can see the previous ATH close.

I'll go for somewhere in 2020, especially because of how markets tend to do the opposite of what people believe will happen. I do think we'll see a positive change when it comes to the sentiment next year, but not more than that.

We really need to look at the market from an unbiased perspective. I know everyone wants to see the price moon rather today than tomorrow, but it's not up us to decide when that happens.

Bull runs start when no one expects it, which heavily contributes to people fomo'ing in at any price. It happened last year as well. Almost no one dared to short the market anymore after it broke through the $10,000 mark.

in my opinion, the market will begin to improve in early 2019, and the bull market will start from mid 2019. and I predict that bitcoin prices can reach $ 25k by the end of the year.

Since you said guess I think maybe by next two weeks and that may last till the end of the year.  Remember that we have not had any significant bull run this year and end of the years is always time for bull run.

We don't need to wait next year. If we want to see bitcoin price up more than 20,000 dollars we need to work on that. But I think in the yeat 2019 bitcoin will be more better and price continue to increase on that year because many investor again will invest to bitcoin.

Next bull run will for sure not start this year. After the bear market, the sideway market should last for at least half year. But probably will last even longer.  The most bad news is what if Bear market had not ended yet and we will get bottom in upcoming months. I am not sure why you are so sure that this will not yet to happen.

There is no one who will know when the bull run will happen, and I think even this year, this will not going to happen so we should not expect with bitcoin at this moment, but we can buy more bitcoin as long as the price is low so that in the future we can get profited even 20% is a good profit already. Maybe next year, bitcoin can make good price or half of next year (hopefully).

Me too if ever bitcoin etf decision will be finalized in February and has approved outcome Im pretty sure that bitcoin will have no time to fly very high even small players will be back investing on btc but what if big capital ventures will again ride on this game billions of money will enter into btc this is something Im waiting to happen this is really big. 

My guess is that we'll see a small alt pump in Q4 2018 and a true bull run in late 2019

Rather than putting so much attention in this year for bitcoin, I would rather be putting more focus in 2019/2020 for a bull run instead. Sure, a lot of development will come up within this short time, and we might probably get to see some slight or huge level of adoption as the case may be, and we all know what all that would mean for the space entirely. Nonetheless, I guess we will just have to be patient to see what the trend and time will give us eventually.

Next bull market? This one started in 2009 and hasn't finished

It seems everyone is expecting a November bull run to happen, but in current scenario I really don't see it happening unless suddenly there's mass adoption once again, or the hype kind scenario once again is repeated when futures were coming. I'm not really aware Bakkt but I'm reading mixed reviews regarding it, if it'll be good for bitcoins then it's more than welcome. I'm expecting 10k by Q2 of 2019.

I'm actually tempted to guess it's further off than that, because so many people expect the next halving to coincide with the next bull run. Most people can't even fathom another long term bear market like after the 2013 bubble. That's why I know it's possible. :)

Sideways trading is not a bear market, and not recovering does not mean we are still in a bear market. We are between the bear and bull markets.

The chart for 2018 makes it pretty clear that the bear market is over. Of course there is some very small chance that this is wrong, but it seems highly unlikely that the bear market will continue. What we're seeing is simply a classic turnaround. Look at the charts for this year. The bottom of ~6000 was repeatedly hit all year starting in early february, with each time producing a jump up, but each time producing a smaller and smaller jump - lower highs but with a solid unwavering bottom.

After that final lower high at end of August / beginning of September of $7400, when the drop from that came and the price maintained the 6000 floor it became clear the bear market was over. There is no more room for lower highs with only ~$1400 between the floor and the last high. So, predictably, the price is now just hanging around between the floor and that last high, with low volatility, in the transition time between bear and bull markets. Check out 2015 if you want an example. That cycle was longer than this one, but from like Feb to Oct of 2015 the price was just chillin between 200 and 300, that is the point we are at now in this cycle. We're only a month and a half into this transition so it is very possible it lasts for several more months into 2019, but we can say with very high confidence prices aren't gonna drop anymore and that the start of the next bull run is incoming in the coming months, possibly weeks if BAKKT turns out to be a big catalyst, but I think months is more likely as I think it'll take some time for the effects of BAKKT and the start of Wall St money to be felt.

Don't worry about that guy. He either doesn't know what he is talking about or explained it very poorly. There are no bitcoin tokens, and it is nothing like Tether. BAKKT buys bitcoin to back all of the Bitcoin being traded on its exchange, holds it in its own custody solution for its Wall St clients that use the exchange, no different than any other crypto exchange except likely with BAKKT instead of mostly being people bringing bitcoin to the exchange BAKKT will be buying up Bitcoin and selling to Wall St players who just bring in their money and they can then trade Bitcoin over the exchange. The more players that join BAKKT to trade or invest the more Bitcoin BAKKT has to buy up from elsewhere. In time it will probably dwarf any other single crypto exchange since the Wall St whales who will play on it make the average Bitcoin whale look like a minnow.

Indeed I expect that would be happening this November, and as the current dips of the value goes on more demands will be arising soon. Don't rush your holdings yet, because you will regret everything if you lose it will cheaper price in the market. Be strong and hold on your assets in order to gain a better profit soon.

Well all of us is hoping that bull run start soonest but like others said we don't know when bull run starts. The important is to hold and be patience to what we have in crypto because all things will be back on track again. And hopefully this November is a great month for all of us.

OP here, I guess BAKKT is actually starting trades in December, not November. November its just opening up allowing institutions to sign up. I think probably it will take a couple months for institutions to dive in, but as they slowly join I think we'll see a gradual price rise, and at some point even the bears will realize that the bear market has been over since early September and the bull run will get going. By February I think we will undoubtedly be in the next bull market.

Markets often range before continuation. In this case, we could be ranging before downside continuation. Ever heard of a bear triangle, or a bear flag? These are "sideways" ranges that occur in between downtrends.

It's a bear market until proven otherwise, since that was the last trend. Bulls need to make a higher high to even suggest the bear market is over.


That's why some people consider it a descending (bearish) triangle (http://thepatternsite.com/dt.html). Lower highs, horizontal bottom.

I can suggest anything I want, and if it goes up in the coming months then I am right. So why can't I suggest it? There is no indication that Bitcoin will break down the support that has held all year long. I'm not saying it is totally impossible that the bear market would extend itself, but I'd give the chance of that happening about 5%, especially with BAKKT coming soon, other Wall St firms getting ready with their own services. Most likely thing is a few months of sideways trading and then the start of the next bull market. If the price did drop, all the bears like you who think it will drop will buy in because that is the drop they've waited for, and all the bulls who see the incoming bull run will buy cuz thats a better price than they ever thought they'd get again, so any drop would be short lived and likely just result in a quick turnaround to rising prices.

I totally agree with you and understand your views very well. Remember that the 2017 bull run was a fall out of what happened in 2016, this time in 2016 bitcoin was in a bear market.  I expect mid 2019 to be a very wonderful time for us to see another upwards movement that will push bitcoin above $25,000. You can suggest whatever you want. The implication was that it's foolish to declare the bear market over because by any conventional standards, it's not. Dow theory, long term moving averages, lower highs/lower lows all say there's been no reversal yet. In terms of Wyckoff cycle analysis, there's been no sign of strength to confirm that this range was an accumulation (rather than distribution) schematic. What kind of TA do you practice that says the bear market is over? It sounds like a crystal ball. ;)

How would you quantify the odds at 5% anyway?

The thing about Wall Street is, the brokers and investment banks are creating infrastructure for demand that doesn't exist yet. Why has Morgan Stanley said they haven't launched derivatives yet? Because the current clearance activity is so low and there is no demand from their clients. BlackRock is literally the world's largest asset manager and their CEO recently said none of their clients are interested in Bitcoin.

Give it time. I'd be wary of getting your expectations up too much by the mere launch of trading products.


I'm not a bear. I'm actually quite neutral. "Sitting on hands" is what a good trader does in a tight range while waiting for breakout.

I'm just trying to temper this blindly bullish bias I see all over the forum right now. When bulls become really confident, it's usually a bearish sign. :-\

People are predicting that it will start in November because of the entire "Remember remember the 5th of November" meme and the fact that in 2013 and 2017, it had a crazy rally then. There is also the Bakkt which supposedly was moved onto December launch.

However like everything in life, since everybody expects November to be bullish the exact opposite can and most likely will happen. Instead it can go down or it can do what it does now and is basically trade sideways.

There is about a week to go before November starts and the markets are completely dead, so it should tell you something.

But in hindsight its easy to tell when the bull-run started after the fact, the $5800 might of been the yearly low or it might of been a good price to get out of Bitcoin if it breaks.

The overall bitcoin adaption rate is good. People are showing faith in bitcoin and they are trying to use it in the real form of currency for the sale and purchase of goods. Many institutions are adopting it and soon it will spread more. In this context, it does not matter when the next bull run start. It may be by end of this year or next year.

Actually it did not really matter when the next bull run will start but what matter is that alot of adoption especially the instructionals' one is going on and many people are becoming aware of blockchain technology these days than in the past.  I believe that we are better off now than before and the next bull run may be next year or 2020.

No one has any idea about next Bull Run or may be something else because no one can predict the future exactly and almost all predictions about Bitcoin’s future value are uncertain to its actual values when we experience them actually. I have no correct prediction but it is clear that predictions will be uncertain and I think that it will take two months more in order to regain its value and make an excellent position again.

This is the crypto market, not some ordinary market that happens to follow a trend. The crypto market cannot be predicted. The price may jump or fall anytime. It is true that the market does follow the charts of previous years, but that does not happen every time and might deviate from it. Just remember this, in the long run the market will tend to go upwards. So instead of predicting prices and making yourself uncertain, you better keep holding your investment.

It is all about hope right and if wishes were horses, even beggars will ride. Bull run can start anytime, but it is not something that can just happen all of a sudden out of the blue without at least some development in between. At the moment, $19800 will remain a solid resistance as there would be a massive sell off even if we manage to test this region anytime soon, and the chances of reversing before going to retest it again is there. Now the thing is that market develops, and we just have to be patient. A new bull run will likely start when we start squashing the previous ATH resistance and printing a new ATH.

If we really want to be looking at bitcoin at the moment, I would not expect any serious bull run this year at all, and before we may probably start seeing any serious huge bull run, that would be probably the mid to the end of 2019 or even maybe 2020. Yes, we may see an uptrend before the end of this year as a lot of people are mostly expecting, with the possibility of a test of the previous ATH and maybe a correction from there over again, but that to me is nothing that should be classified as a bull run at all.

This is not even something that has to do with crypto market alone, every market is always going to be unpredictable and in that case, I believe that in most cases, we can always end up getting to see the price behave even in the ways we cannot expect, most especially for the fact that it is a highly speculative environment.

Bull run will start when it wants to start, but personally I do not want to see a bull run fueled by speculation, greed and FOMO, I want to see a bull run that is fueled by real demand as that is what would make the price sustainable.

At least, if we are to compare the adoption rate in the past and what we have now, we know that it is increasing every year. However, this does not mean we will just because of that have a clue when the next bitcoin will start.

It is a market and markets are always going to be unpredictable, which in this sense means that as long as you know what you are doing and you believe in the long term and ready to hold, no matter how long it takes before we get to see another bull run, you are still going to be a part of it. However, I would rather be looking at 2020 to 21 before we see any major bull run.

Bitcoin price for  this year would likely fail as many predictions as expected, but for me as today's trending the price will become more stable and take it slowly and surely.

What I am even much particular about now is to start seeing real life usage at least as that is what would make any uptrend as well as bull run a bit sustainable in the long term. At this stage, expecting a bull run is all going to be based on speculations alone and I do not see that as something we should be after at all, and at this point in time, I would rather see just a slow adoption until we are able to see the real life usage kick in and in that case, at least, we want to see it happen because of mainstream adoption and not because some people are deciding to get greedy.

If a major news like approval of an ETF will be arriving then we can be sure about next bull run at a fixed time frame. Without any that kind of sure shot things, we cannot predict when more number of new investors will join bitcoins and how far they will take the markets. Being patience and waiting for slow progress is the only option for all the long term holders.

Prediction of market is very tough, we cannot predict the market easily. Now the price of bitcoin is stable not increasing too much and not decreasing too low. Today the price starts to increase little don't know whether it is continue or not. Only two more months to go for end of this year so the chance is less for bull run this year. But hope it will starts on next year.

Cryptocurrency market is guessable. You will speculate one thing and the facts will go to other side. Nobody is able to speculate the bull market in the future. In my opinion bull market is not possible atleast in this year. Hope the next year will be good for cryptocurrency. Investors will recover their deficits of this year. Investors that lost their money will remember 2018 till the rest of their lives.

The next bull market is going to happen when we start 2019 . I believe by January onwards the market will be in favor of those who have waited for long and is going to increase to level that it will be as it was when bitcoin was all time high.

It may be tough but with this upcoming new event we may consider the chance express our own opinions and speculation about the market if ever there will be a bull run this year or maybe next year. But we are still in the verge of waiting game again until we finally see the clear run of the market we might consider to our self to just hodl first before someone might actually sell it too quickly due to their out of self control.

i guest there is no bull run happens this year 2018, and i also guest that it will be at 2021 or 2022, as of now there is no indication of upcoming bullrun, a mini bull maybe, but a totally bullrun is not.

It is difficult to predict when the bull market will occur, the market will be able to grow and and I will continue to be patient waiting for the bull market.

Bull run we expect this month but it will not happen. But I hope that next month or november will start the ball run because it is the time we need to see again the value of bitcoin become very high the price. But maybe will run will not happen if there is a lot of people still panicking selling their bitcoin.

I agree, no one can  predict the future but there will be signs that will show what will be the next market.  As we can see, there should be factors that one must met before it enters bull market, or there will be a price increase.  One of which is adoption.  If there will be an upcoming huge mass adoption, it is a sign that the market will be bullish.  I believe one of that sign is BAKKT.  I believe the bull phase will start on the launch of the BAKKT platform which I think is Dec.

Yes, it is impossible to predict the current situation of the market because the Bitcoin price is kept declining and this the altcoin to decrease their value and every time when the price of Bitcoin is kept increasing people start dumping it, so this year there won't be any bull run.

I think it will be during late November and early December like last year. Now, I am a person who keeps saying just because last year there was an increase during late November early December it doesn't mean there will be one however everything went according to that right now and the price seems like ready to burst upside and make another run at the all time high price  and if that also happens for the other smaller crypto currencies as well there would be nothing in between 2 trillion dollar marketcap of crypto and today.

I think the prices doesn't do same thing every year however this year it was really looking like it was destined to go up like that at the same times, the sad part is if the price goes up like crazy this December too than everyone will sell all they have at the peak and won't get back until summer so they can get in cheap and expect the prices to go up next year too and would lose a lot of money if it doesn't happen which will hurt crypto world.

No one can even know anything at this stage unless to just wait. What ever we will end up coming with now will just be pure assumptions, so in that case, I would say, what point does it actually get to serve in most cases? Bull market will not be a difficult one to see come to reality as we can easily get to see that happen if we probably see some market potential and it would not take days before we will start seeing participation in the market if there is a good signal for it as well as a good follow up but for now, patience is the only thing it takes.

I agree to this. Of Course now, bitcoin must show some feats of strength and remarkable entrance in life of a common man. Until this isn’t achieved, we might see bitcoin dumping in and out around such prices. Well in last year, Christmas has got the pledge to hold the biggest hikes of bitcoin ever made in history of its existence. We have seen so numerous small jumps of bitcoin but from some seven thousand dollars to twenty one thousand dollars in time span of one week, this is seriously amazing. So pack up your bags and try to be ready at Christmas this year again. Something big is coming.

I have been thinking that the next bull market is going to begin at the end of 2020 but after thinking about this topic for some time I even think that is simply too soon and the bull market is probably going to take an even longer amount of time probably until the end of 2021, some may be discouraged by this but I am in fact happy since that will give more time to get bitcoin.

Sorry but no way Wall St and everyone else is just gonna sit on the sidelines for two or three years before starting to buy in. That time frame will probably be when the bull market is ending after like two years of going up, not starting. Even in the very slow cycle last time it only took about 9 months from when the market bottomed until the next bull run started, and we're just about 2 months into this cycle's bottom, but you saying instead of 9 months at the bottom we're gonna have 3 years at the bottom?!?! you can't be serious in that prediction?

In the coming month the price will be the same because there is no positive trend in the market. The price is still below $6500 and as it is going I don’t see that there would be any bump in the price till the end of this year. Some people are predicting again about 2019 as they were predicting in 2017 about the preceding year but the situation is different now.

Don't deceive yourself, this is not going to be the same thing with what you saw last year or rather you should not be using last year to judge what would possibly be happening this year at all.

First and foremost, last year was more of a bullish year, as we had the year start with an uptrend and that was pretty much understandable to see that over the year, we had series of new ATH being imprinted until the eventual thing happened with the bull run. However, we have been in a bear year, and do not get me wrong, we may get to see an uptrend if possible at least to some little extent, but you should not be expecting something out of the moon this year.

I agree with that, as I see many people are comparing what happened in the last year and what can happen in this year. This is a totally baseless claim by the people who are claiming this year as well it will touch a new high as it touched in the previous year. But realizing this is growing, I can say this will help another abrupt rise very soon along with the crash after this.

Well i respect your speculations as we must respect each of us,but for me until the bottom is not reached the bear will remain with us.so stop fooling around about the bear is gone,because in just a few weaks it coming back again and again for almost whole year now

Bitcoin has been proven to be a volatile cryptocurrency which in just a matter of week or days it will have a sudden increased or decreased. But what is happening right now happens to be staying at $6k plus and many of us are wondering when is time it will pump. Though the year still not end and I think the correction has already been done but I'm not sure about because the value of really doesn't move that much. Anyway, my guess probably be in the next year because this year BTC is experiencing a lot of correction.

After that corrections I am thinking that the bull run possibilities will be into that reality for this time, and people will rush over for the great price. Many struggles might come but the only important is, we know how to manage our fears despite of the emotional battles that we've been facing of right now. Bull run will happen anytime of the day this November, and it might be a surprising day at random time.

We never know if it turns out to be a FUD or something but yes, let's not just assume that fast since anything could happen in crypto market, you will be surprise someday if it turns out that you'd guess it wrong. Predicting prices and bull market seems so hard these days, even with those positive news that we see in every social media platforms, at the end of the day only investors could change the whole thing and flip it right away.

for me i think the bottom is already reached because the value of all the cryptos especially bitcoins are now stabilizing for a long time , that is why i strongly believed that the bear will now be gone and it will slowly being replaced by the bull market  .  other factor that will help the bear trend to go away is that we are now on the fourth quarter of the year and many people said that fourth quarter is the comeback or recovery of all the cryptos due to the fact that many people will have a bigger budget as they already recieved thier bonus for the whole year of 2017 .

It is said and speculated that we have reached the bottom already. If we haven't reached the bottom yet and what's your expected bottom? We have hit the bottom but the bear is still there and they have a point about the bull's coming after Bakkt's operation.

I'll have a safe speculation that the next bull market would probably next year Q2 - Q3. I already accepted the fact that last year's holiday season won't be the same for this year.

from below 250b to over 750b in the total market cap.  just in cap this was 3x,  some coins got more than 10x and 100x gains in just 2 month.

Yeah we need to understand this fact that nothing could help us predict the price of bitcoin. Price charts are quite interesting and they always betray you whenever you start joining out the points on guess basis. We all should know that there are nothing like it, so please be aware of the scams roaming in market. I have seen some fake tools of predicting price of bitcoin, damn.

There is no need thinking, and even though we have managed to imprint higher lows for a while now, that still does not mean we are sure yet how the market will take its direction until we actually see the direction pretty clear. For now, we just have to wait and see how things will turn out.

Also, anticipating when there would be the next bull run is something no one can actually give bus basically, since the next halving which is 2020 is the target of most people when it comes to huge increase in price, i would rather just lean on that, but not like fixate my mind on it completely as trend to me is always the best friend anyone can have in the market, not speculation.

The crypto market is depends on Bitcoin value so all are waiting for the Bitcoin hype and the major source of Bitcoin dump and pump is demand and supply. So once it will increase in the market automatically bull market is coming soon. But we need big backend support because market was not stabilize recent months so right support is important in next bull run so it will be possible on next year.

My willy is telling me we won't see any powerful bullishness until 2020 though perhaps the price will be more buoyant towards the end of next year. What we really need to settle is what stock markets plan to do in the next couple of years. If they decide to take a giant shit then I think all bets are off. The bigger crypto gets the less of a vacuum it operates in.

As i remembered, this bullish market was already predicted since 3rd Quarter of this year but months were always past but it always did not happen as desired until we have this 2 months left before this year will end and now a new prediction arise that it will happen 1st Quarter by next year and so on. Bitcoin price is really unpredictable that there is no one can predict the market price movement so better lets just wait and see then.

Yeah, that is the thing! We have seen the years of speculation blow us here and there and people tending to get greedy over time looking for the easy way out to getting rich as soon as they can, which always cloud their mentality and judgment, make them to make silly mistakes, while the whales and institutions keep taking a huge advantage of that.

We are in the phase where we have to understand that a lot of things need to change, but there is no need to rush actually, as I believe over time, they will definitely tend to find their way into our midst eventually, which is one thing I so much believe would happen.

Even if we want to assume, it is all still going to just be an assumption as no one can actually tell what the future holds in anyway. When the next bull market is going to start is best to leave to when it will start as we will most definitely all get to see it, but asking questions about when it will start, is something that absolutely no one can give an answer to.

At least, what is important now is the current situation we are in, which to me is something we have to understand that it is a point where we should be accumulating and in that case, I believe that in the long run, investors who are patient enough will always get the best shot.

All know how much influence Bitcoin has on the entire crypto market, so we only need to wait for the bull run on Bitcoin to start and most crypto markets will definitely follow, but the current bitcoinmarket situation has not supported, too much doubt and there is no news has shaken the market, I hope that next year there will be a shocking positive news that makes the bull run hooked

I think the bull market will happen soon because now it has begun to enter the end of the year so this will make the market condition will experience price increases again, just wait for the bull market to start soon.

It's been said almost every month, or when the Ber don't started, even there are good news occur there are no bulls that running. We just need to move on and try to earn in this bear market, this year will end and we can still have a hope in the next year.

We just hope it is, its been awhile and we need to see some progress and profit too. Many says that next month will have a big jump, we just need to see it too.

I think the price in the market can experience a bull market again and will start a bull market by the end of this year because the cryptocurrency bull market usually occurs at the end of the year.

I don't think so if that will happen again if you have seen the price last year by the end of the year it was a massive raised up on Bitcoin price. But as of now, I don't know if that will happened again to the market since the price was at a stable range at 6k to 7k dollars, but who knows it's too early to decide since the last month of this year has not yet come and for sure there is possible to happen. So, let's wait and make it sure you are always ready for the bull run and invest as much as you can.

I think the bull market will be able to start when there is good news from various countries because if there is no good news it seems that it will still be very difficult to be able to do a bull market. I hope this year can do a bull market.

In my opinion, we will hitting the longterm purple resistance line showed below in the beggining of 2019.

Then we will start to slowly follow the uptrend of this purple line up to the 10k resistance which intersect with the purple line at the begining of June 2019. Then the real bull run will start when we will break this 10k resistance.

We have made a concept in our mind that if the last quarter comes the value will increase automatically, but this time I don't think it will happen again like last year. Yes there are more chances for a pump but It will not go beyond $12k in my opinion.

I think bull run will start later in December 2018. I think we can see at least 10,000$ for 1 bitcoin when bull run will start and why not price will keep at that range for long time in my opinion. So guys and girls i think now is the time to fill our bags. Also don't invest more than afford to lose.

Agree but i think that when it will pass 10,000$ it will be the new support  to reach much higher heights and first of all has to pass the 20 k mark to make higher highs after that Hold on to the rails. Definitely fill your bags and remember that this will be the last opportunity  to find a good buy entry for the retail market (i mean to be able to buy a decent amount of Btc or fractions)

these pumps always come following the bitcoin halving the pattern has repeated it self so many times I expect a large prepump months before the next halving reward change so 18 months to halving prepump starts in exactly this time next year NOV 2019 I would guess we start seeing the price moving up again so id be cautious about a possible price fall and even lower floor at this point.

It's really difficult to predict future prices of bitcoin and the next bullrun. It will depend on the investors and positive factors that will drive the price upward. Factors like the possible approval of bitcoin ETF and lifting up ban of bitcoin by some countries can turn the whole market into green. Factors that makes another bullrun this year are still missing and I believe that next year there will be significant growth for the entire crypto market.

So it turns out nothing happens this November. Things like ETF, BAKKT may bring fresh institutional money to the scene but they aren't totally good for Bitcoin. Anyway, I doubt the approval of Bitcoin ETF could bring a huge momentum to Bitcoin price by now. So I'm not expecting it to become the main fuel for the next bull run.

My best guess is the next bull run will be fueled by halving (again). It won't happen right after or before the halving, but perhaps months after or before the halving.

The halving is in 2020. i don't think it will wait that long. My guess is max march 2019

Remember that in the past few years prices have dropped from $1200 to $200 and need several years to get back to $1200, I know that conditions may have changed, but it is very likely that it will take several years to recover? and in 2020 there are halving occur, that would make bitcoin prices rise and maybe a bull run would occur that year

Well, that is something that is always likely to be possible, but before then, I am sure we could have seen some slow movement upward to some pretty good extent at least before the pre-pump with respect to halving that will occur in 2020. For now though, I am not a fan of trying to think or assume when a bull run will be starting, so one way or the other, whenever it is going to be starting, that will be glaring for everyone to see, but the most important thing is to never let accumulating now pass us by.

I am sure a lot of us are really hoping for the end of the year, but I believe hope is not what will move the market, demand most definitely will. For now though, we have been seeing the market move sideways, so in some ways, we can still expect the possibility of some hope anyway, but at the same time, nothing is certain yet at least, until we are able to see the market pick a struggle eventually. I would not expect much for bitcoin at the end of the year, but I am actually looking forward to the altcoins though as they have been showing some initial bullish moves already for a while now.

Nobody really knows when the next bull run is going to happen again because cryptocurrencies are unpredictable in the first place. Just like what others think that bull run is going to happen this year, but it looks like it is not going to happen this time. Let's just wait when it's going to happen so it's better if you just hold on your cryptos.
