Title: FAILED ICO - FAILED BOUNTIES
Post by: momshie_anne on October 29, 2018, 08:33:48 AM
Is there someone here who really get some big profit with their bounties? I am sick and tired of failed Bounties that I joined, most of them didn't reward my works due to ICO failure.

Look back a year ago and you'll see on how many projects got successfully with their ICOs.

And of course bounty hunters made a lot of money out of those success. Right now its very far those days where ICO has been new to the market but now its bold and exposed that many are just scamming people. So it wasn't so effective now as before, look for some other ways to earn like developing your trading skill.

Try to participate in projects, that have already a working product, or that have already met their soft cap. There are some bounties live on the market, so best of luck in finding them :) And always be careful with not legit projects.

A lot of projects are becoming scams and making reasons just to do exit scam.

Try to avoid this kind of suspicious project and you're wasting your time and effort. Analyzing the project before investing or doing bounties could help you take time to know if its legit or not.

Of course here many people have succeeded in participating in the bounty. Never give up on what you have done. I am also struggling and striving to achieve my dreams, which are succeeding in doing bounty campaign tasks. Failure is the beginning of success, I'm sure there are still many ICOs that will succeed. Stay optimistic friends ..

usually, those project who reaches their softcap is already a successful ICO, but at the same time you are already far from earning here because of so many participates in this kind of bounty and ofcourse as the OP's rank he is only a newbie which is really hard for him to catch up to earn in this kind of way.

all the ICOs are failures even the ones that took place last year. the only difference is that last year there as a fever going on which you can call "ICO mania" which meant a lot more people were investing in them and losing money but that fever like any other fever is cured now and people aren't trusting ICOs anymore. which is why they are failing much faster.

Don't be sad bro, it's already a risk for a bounty hunter. If you work on a failed project in my opinion you have been lucky, because now many projects are cheating or acting on behalf of the ICO but the project does not exist. I suggest that you should be smarter in choosing a good project and should be able to benefit even if this situation.

Things has changed since last year, when practically every big project doing ICO was running bounty campaign on bitcointalk, throwing big amounts of tokens and coins. Right now it's hard to find something promising, which can be profitable, and if you luckily find it, there are thousands of participants. I don't know what to advise you TBH, I barely join any bounty nowadays.

unfortunately, that's the way it is. That's why you should always only choose to do bounties for projects that seem legit and trustworthy

Unfortunately you have joined in the wrong ICOs. Definitely there are so many good project that pay well. But before joining, you have to be more calculative to find out the most prospective one. In recent time, I think, blockchain based ICOs are performing well. You should research on those kind of projects and the team working behind it. By analyzing properly, you can overcome the situation.
But one thing, don't loose hope. Here none can be rich over the night.

Welcome to reality , bro . What did you expect from the industry where most of the projects are scammers? Now it is very difficult to choose such a bounty campaign , which will have a valueable coins and at the same time for your work you could get them at least some significant amount, not a couple of coins. A year ago, the situation was completely different and a lot of people earned good money on bounty, but that time is long past ...  :(

A year ago, we did receive a good profit from participating in bounty campaigns, there were really successful ICO projects. Now there are not so many of them, they pay less, there are more and more scammers on the market. But you should not lose hope, you need to be optimistic and continue to work, I think there are many successful projects ahead.

You should learn how to evaluate the ICO projects better. There is still a lot of good ICOs and I have never participated in failure projects. Of course there was much more award last year but not it is not bad too. You could easily get 200-300$ a month.

I have a long list of those failed ICO and have soon forgotten all of these because it's very depressing if you continue to think your lost time and effort I'm just lucky I can move on fast because of some of the profitable I've got from my bounty campaign, but we really need to do a lot of research to find a good one and continue monitoring them.

It is not only you who felt tired of doing bounties, many can relate to your feeling but we have to improvised if we want to succeed here in crypto. Bounties are not the only thing here, you can do trading if you want to earn but of course the risk is high but ultimately in the end when you gained knowledge you can profit more than bounties will give you.

You should research the project before working for them without taking any money.
I think bounties as a business so I research on company and ICOs. If I am not sure that they are legit or not, I am not going to work with them.
Lot's of scams here.

That's just how it is, I got some profit but it's not huge. Let's just say don't give up and you'll eventually get some profit that you deserve depending on how you work. This is crytocurrency so sometimes, things are meant to fail so just try and try. Never give up. Find a known bounty manager because they have a high chance of making a project successful.

As we can see, you are not rewarded because of your current rank which is a newbie, in order to avoid this, you should earn merit and become atleast a jr member. I am not sure whether you have multiple accounts but I think the reason why you are not succeeding to gain tokens is because of your rank.

I don't know, I am still waiting for last payout and then I will tell you. I see lots people are discussing this so probably many projects can't reach softcaps or they don't collect too much funds so bounty rewards are lower. It is not bounty that failed, it is ICO.

I know this year is bad of ico projects and most ico did not even complete their soft cap.. Also so many ico are totally scam which is also a bad effect on good ico projects. May this year should be remember as a black year of ico history. But this things makes us more aware. Before participating in any bounty program need to be research if it's legit or not. Their are so many thread already discussed about it how to know if ico is legit or scam. Do some research before applying. It's your responsibility that you need to do proper research and if you find that someone is scamming then you should be report that thred to the moderator. This way we can make a strong community against scams project.

Of course most of the bounties that you joined also failed because you don't have research project before participants their bounty campaign, you won't earn money if you continues doing like that, anyway, don't be sad because current crypto market situation and most of the bounty hunter also can't earn good profit in 2018, so I just wait for 2019  :)

You are a newbie and you are sick and tired? How many ICOs and bounties have failed you?  Or are you just lamenting?  I can't understand.

That's by the way. It is painful to spend time and resources on a project and it turns out fake. The most painful is the one that claims to be successful, reward you with tokens that turn out to be shit. Others will list on scam exchanges. It is really sickening.

Everyone should expect this to happen. So, to avoid further frustrations, stop joining a lot of bounty campaigns. Instead, focus and learned to filter good ICOs and only join at most 5 if it's fine to you. Less work, less expectations, less frustrations. Now if you have spare money, try trading also.

If I am going to look back at 2017 October, it was a good season for me in joining the ico campaign. It is because by that time it was my first time to earned 2.3BTC when the token got pumped which I had received payment in the bounty. Also during that time many ico are good to join in unlike this year 2018 were most of the ico are scam and not legit.

I also experience that, I already joined ICO campaigns that are said that it is okay but at the end of our work we didn't receive any tokens even a centavo of bitcoin, even we all work for it. Well, I guess we should just accept that fact because that is really part of ICO's, there are failure ICO and there are not.

I think that there really are scam ICO's out there that every investors and bounty hunters should be careful enough in making their choices. I believe that if you want to become successful with your bounty participation, you must have to do a proper research and make sure you check the team members that handles the project. Consider also checking the whitepaper and understand what the project platform is all about. Lastly, you need to know the bounty manager that handles the bounty campaign where it should be handled by high ranking members with good reputation.

This is partly due to your work
Do you get first hand information before participating in bounties ?

Or you just say “ oh wow, this is a bounty with lots of participants, definitely gonna be a success ?”
What category do you fall into ?

Always do your own research
That’s the only solution

Most of the projects are not successful because of lack investors. Also, the fund they raised. Because of the fluctuations in ETH and BTC price, some also fail to run projects. It really hurts.

So you have to wait until the market becomes more active again. You may have to wait a long time, but nevertheless, such crises make competition much less. Now, many people have stopped bounty due to low payouts, and those who continue to do so can eventually receive a good income.

I too experienced failed ICO and there's nothing to do but accept that our hard work will not be rewarded. That's just the risk we need to accept as bounty hunters. Then there's also ICO's pause their public token sale and we need to wait for many months which another risk as bounty hunter. Unfortunately even we do research as much as we can for ICO project we join there's still the risk of that project being unsuccessful so best to do is to join several project at the same time and/or wait for the progress of project you like and join later when they able to reached softcap but then it will also mean you may get less reward unlike those early supporter.

I think the bounty hunters are now mature and rational. Not as blind as it was. Learn to pick projects on your own. There are fraudulent practices in any industry. This requires us to have a good ability to identify projects. Never say die. There are so many projects. There is always one you will choose the right one.

Be sure that all the bounty you've was a good bounty and also ICO, Because if you're always join and join and you didn't know the whole project and you don't have any knowledge on the project you didn't understand the situation. Either you also don't know that all the project are fake or scam.

Well, that is the main reason why it is absolutely necessary to analyze (at least on the surface level) the projects behind the opened bounties and not just blindly joining everything you stumble upon. Most of the aforementioned projects wont reach their soft cap, so consequentially no payments will be made.

Failed ICO = Failed bounties.
There are some reasons why bounty is failed or participants got no payment on their work.
1. ICO is a scam!
2. Soft cap not reached.
3. ICO is not finished and stop by the team.

This is the sad part of the BOUNTY, but we should not stop and keep moving,.

days of big earn from bounties gone (so was said already in June), now only max upgraded acounts will give you some shares. Especially in signature campaign, also good choice to join to projects with fix rewards (if it's high enough for you) despite on the amount of participants in them.

Sorry but 99% of ico or bounty are scam...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin, vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3028302.0... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

I still take my chances in bounty campaigns considering that most ICOs failed or extended. I had some bounty campaigns that didn't pay. My efforts and time are put to waste. But, I need to accept the fact that 2018 is drought period for cryptocurrency and ICOs were affected too cause ETH the king of ICOs had declined 75% already. Hoping that next year would a better year.

The thing that I see with most people is that they never get to try as much as possible to do some research on the project they are joining. They just assume that, well, it is bounty and they have nothing to lose, but indeed they have forgotten they have time to lose as well as the resources they are using.

Due diligence is not only limited to investors but something even bounty participants should always consider. Participating in just few successful ICOs with long term potentials is far better than participating in 100 of ICOs that are scam or have no potential at all. Being smart is all it takes to figure that out and if you are not, you will just see yourself wasting your time and resources over nothing.

Sometimes bounty work is so stressful and it will make someone think of quitting it if the person keeps participating in the bounties of failed ICOs. Don't feel depressed, I will just advise you to watch the progress of an ICO before you start promoting such ICO. It really helps a lot.

That means getting money is difficult, not as easy as you think, join with bounty program then making a post and getting the money you had expected. Someone needs effort to get money, with the bounty campaign you must be able to determine the potential project and otherwise. In addition, if the project experiences a decline when it has been listed in several exchanges even though it has good potential, never take a ridiculous decision by selling the tokens you get. So, just praying is not enough to get a miracle, change the way when you take part bounty campaign and pay attention to everything that matters, then you will get the money you expect.

Maybe a year ago bounty was really profitable. Since there are more and more bounty hunters, some bounties give lesser reward or rewards are scattered all through the bounty hunters. Some ICOs fail too. Bounty hunting is not as profitable as it was before.

gone were the days where almost every ico were legit and successful and most bounty hunters gain a massive profit out of it. But when 2018 enters, everything seems to have been fading away. Lest hope we can bring back those old times and enjoy every bounties that are coming along our way.

Failed ICOs are dangerous for investors, because some projects are returning invested funds and some of them don't. Failed bounty is just a loose of time and failed ICO is big risk of loosing money

This year was a failure for both bounties and ICOs. Well, considering decline, most of people forget both activities and think that ICO is dead as well as bounty.
I don't think so, market will change next year.

I for one got some payments for my bounty but that as high as others. In my experience being a bounty hunter, it really needs patience before you could get payed or getting a payment with value. Most ICOs now are failing because most of them are scam or not that successful which is really stressful but then if you got payed it is really worth the effort.

Everything will depend on the overall market condition. Of course, ICO and remuneration for bounty are closely related. Developers are simply nowhere to get money to pay for your work, this is obvious. But I think that we should keep the pennies we receive. It is possible that in the future tokens of some projects will give a good profit. We have to be patient

Whenever a ICO Failed, (Bounty failed) to reached their target or became a scam, then this situation came. Well, at that time, who should be blame, we don't know and just feel irritated. But this is not the end, we should move ahead, learn the abilities to find good ICO which never gone fail. Many people get profits in last years, so your time also came (Who are new or waiting for profit).

I agree. Over 50% of the bounties I joined ended up being a scam or a failure. Even though I have checked and spend some time researching about the ICO, there is no guaranteed way of determining the outcome of an ICO. However, regardless of what happen, I will not give up and someday I'll be rewarded for a coin that will have a high value in the future. Keep on grinding and you will get something.

I hate to say this but I think I missed the golden days of ICO. What is left when I joined bounties are failed ICO's that didn't sell enough coin. Also there is a high possibility of scam ICO's this year and I think it will never be fixed until they find a way to detect scam ICO's. There should be a strict way of filtering scam ICO. They should be stopped and maybe the market will go up again.

A lot of projects are becoming scams and making reasons just to do exit scam.

Try to avoid this kind of suspicious project and you're wasting your time and effort. Analyzing the project before investing or doing bounties could help you take time to know if its legit or not.

The reasons for those scam projects were due to fraud promotions which every people who handled the management of funds in a wrong way. After being launch in the market it hasn't gain a good price after being listed on the exchanges. Every efforts give out to the projects were worthless and I think this brought a bad effect for all ICO if this will continue to scam people all the time.

ICOs usually fail now because the softcap isn't reached in time and so the funding doesn't work out. Also, a lot of ICOs and bounties failed last year also, it just took some time for the failure to occur. The hype was just so much greater.

ICO fail because of it's can't get to fund what they want. You can do one thing. Don't work for just one ICO. Go for multiple ICO. For some ICO work from the start and for some work after they collect some good funds. At-least you will get some in this case.

the outcome nowadays are failed ico projects and tokens are not being listed on exchangers. What caused these problems is the downtrend this year. It highly influences the market which makes bounties and ico investment not anymore as profitable as before. But if we wouls be patient, this won't be a problem because dumps are not permanent so it would be practical to think that recovery would happen eventually.

Participating in bounties that their ICO already reach the softcap is the best choice nowadays, but sometime there is something unexpected. Because the fund collected is a little above the softcap line, they extended their ICO a few weeks, and what I meet is that they extended it for 60 days. That's really a long time.

I want to advise you, at least this is what I do when choosing gifts. First, you must examine the project about product objectives, road maps, teams, and advisors. Usually can be seen in the white book. Second, you can see the project community. If the community will usually affect the sale of tokens.

The good thing is that from so much failure you always learn something new, it is important that you recognize why the ICO fails and try to avoid those behaviors in future ICOs, for example, remember how the team interacted with the community, every time they gave information about the project and how ambitious the collection was, that data is very important to know the value of an ICO.

Sorry mate, maybe you should be trying to check where you have been getting things wrong instead. The truth here is that there is nothing you can do unless you are ready to start doing due diligence when it comes to participating in bounty campaigns, otherwise, you will keep experiencing the same fate over and over again, and still be expecting different results. Probably, you have been too lazy to always crosscheck the project you want to be a part of and you tend to throw blind eye to the prospect, the product as well as the team and just hop into whatever you feel like, this would always be the outcome.

Try to participate in projects, that have already a working product, or that have already met their soft cap. There are some bounties live on the market, so best of luck in finding them :) And always be careful with not legit projects.
That is always the thing, and most people just waste their time joining shitty projects because they are simply too lazy to dig on the project they want to be a part of. Time and resources are at stake here, and anyone who take joining projects with levity and are too lazy to do some research on the team, product and the long term potential of the project, will always have themselves to blame in the long run for not taking diligence into consideration in the first place. When you fail to do that diligence, you will higher percentage of the time, experience failed ICOs and of course failed bounties.

Many ico nowadays are failed to attract more investors, and its not surprising . The time market falls down many investors lie low to cryptoworld that results to few investors , and few investors means few funds for the project or ico . We need to become smart and picky , we must know first the ico before joining and participating to their bounty programs.

Truly this year is not good for Bounty hunters as most of the Bounties/ICO’s got scammed & those which are successful doesn’t bear as much fruit as we want as compare to last year bounty hunters got good share of profit from bounties/ICO’s. Most of the ICO’s loose its value when listed in exchanges. So try to research for good bounties & participate from those good bounties as much as you can. From those only 20% will bear you good profit. Hopefully next year is good for Bounties & ICO's.

Don't give up. It is true that there are bounties from last year that really gave everyone the chance to become rich. And now that we are having a hard time on different ICO to be a successful one, I think most of the newbies will simply leave and give-up while others will remain and still have that chance to get rich. Cultivate your skills on trading. That way you can really know how to generate extra income and profit while the market is unstable and usually going down.

Making some good money on bounties is really been plausible but the chances is getting slimmer as the years goes by due to scammy and fraud projects out there which a certain bounty hunter
would be mainly affected when they aren't being paid up on the work that they have done. Its always been part of the risk and hunters should really be aware on that on the first place.
Its either you would being paid up or not depending on the project success. If not then better to move on and the thing you should do is trying your very best to look out the most
potential project out there which this would really require some serious research on hunters end.

How much money do you expect? and how many times have you taken part bounty campaign this year? In 2017 most of the bounty hunters get big profits because they did hold tokens or coins that they got from the bounty campaign, most of them didn't sold directly after the distributor token was finished. Might if you want to get the amount of money that you expect it will be good to hold a while the token that you had in your wallet, wait a few months later and see the movement of the token if market recover, if the token does not increase then the token is not potentially you can sell it for free.

The problems in ico investments are much more this year than last year. A lot of people have lost their money due to scams or useless projects so people are more skeptical about investing in ICOs.

This means bounty hunting will be more difficult because most bounty hunters are not honest I promotion and repeatedly spam just for the crypto they want to make.

this is a consequence for bounty participants, if ico fails the bounty also fails, this is a common thing and how bounty participants can choose good ico and have the potential to avoid a failure when participating in ico.

A closer look at events this year will make someone to conclude that things has changed drastically. Now we have more bounty hunters with only few credible projects whose bounty allocation is not even that much.

Mostly in all cases it happens. but the fact is that you do not know in advance whether the ICO will be successful. so you just assume and take part in the bounty

i have not earned the big money through bounties so far. so far, the amounts that i received, were very small. the times when you could make a lot of money with bounties seems to be over. currently you earn only with many luck money by bounties.

At the moment I was also not lucky enough to choose a good bounty campaign and get a good reward. Most of them carry an ICO for a fixed period of time, and the reward I received from some projects is very small. I hope the situation will improve and most projects will successfully raise funds and achieve hard cap.

thats right , 2017 is the best year for bounties and airdrops but that is because the value of cryptos were also pumping . now it is completely opposite due to the fact that the overall market is experiencing a huge crash  .

but dont be discourage mate , you know that this is only for temporary because crypto's will always be fluctuating .  just keep on joining bounties/airdrops so that you can collect more coins and you can have the oppurtunity to earn big when the right time come's .

I am a certified bounty hunter. I already joined lot campaigns. Some are scam, some failed to reach softcap/hardcap, some pays me a little and some are the big shot. In this year, legit bounties are gard to find because scams are growing its number. This year is very different from the previous years. It is also hard for me now to trust campaigns.

2017 is like the best year for bounty hunters, I've seen many good feedback earning good amount of cryptocurrency from bounties, unfortunately 2018 is not a good year, I think its because of the decline of the crypto prices just like Bitcoin and ETH, too much exposure is also one of the problem because of the increase in new platforms we can experience lack of supporters and investors, and some just use the rising of ICO exposure to do fraud and make fake projects.

Failed ICOs are really very disappointing and if ever you will be one of those bounty hunters who had participated in this kind of ICO you will surely not be able to get your bounty payment from this so next time when you want to participate in a certain bounty make sure that nobody from the development team of that bounty are involved in fraud and scam and most of all make sure that the ICO has an actual use in everyday life.

The main reason why projects fail is because of bountyhunters that are greedy. They only think about themselves, they don't care about the project. I am advising you that if you are going to help some projects you should do it properly, you should give a good thing to the ICO and they will give you a good thing in return. After being a responsible bountyhunter you should be a wise bountyhunter, you should pick ICOs that are active and most especially those ICOs that already became success in their past projects, probably they are not scams.

I will advise you to do a thorough investigation before you participate in their bounty. I have been participating in good projects that have a great future. Try to see the service the ICO is rendering if it is a unique one that the public will like to invest in. There are so many unique projects out there that investor will like. Try to access the project if it is something you can invest if you want to invest in it.

You should choose a bounty program not by the size of awards but by the prospects of the project. It is better to earn at least something than to go to work for the promised tens of thousands of dollars and earn 0.

Yes that's right that's why it's getting higher in risk now for this bounties to join because of the market condition. I advise to just learn trading for now and also to seek out those with stable payout jobs right now like community management or other management that will involve paying in already listed tokens that have good value and with decent equivalent in fiat.

That is the risk of joining bounties, there were some cases in the past that those that invested their time in bounties could get some really good rewards if the coin skyrocketed, but we now know that is going to be very difficult to happen, so most of those that are trying to earn money with bounty campaigns have a lot of problems to make as much money as they did int the past.

I think that today a similar problem have most of the bounty hunters, personally I have not received a reward since spring but I hope that with the restoration of the situation in the crypto market, trust in the ICO will also be restored.

Apart from failed ICOs projects we also in the era of tokens becoming worthless after listing in an exchange thus rendering the efforts of the bounty hunters in futility while investors also groans as the price dumps all these makes Cryptos not getting much attentions unlike last year.

It stupid to joined many bounties in the same time, you never know which is the scam or which one will fail in the future, it wastes your time if joined the bounty before, tries to find the promising project and keep your reward after the market grow, I think it will earn some money.

Yes there is ! There are lot of active bounties out there where you can participate and take part on the allocated rewards to be given at the end of the bounty program. Always put on our mind that the bounty programs is still depends on the progress of it's ICO , if the ICO failed the bounty also does but don't hesitate to participate on other bounties again or never frustrate ourselves.

I had some failed bounties as well... some them even pay the tokens, but their value is not even worth to send to exchange...
Now I find myself very rigid on the bounty selection and it has became very hard to find good bounties to participate in...
I've arrived to the conclusion that, like another user has already said, it is time to complete the cycle and develop other areas like the trading skills...
good luck on your hunting!! take care.
I agree. Bounty is not worth it when you find is wrong. In have many coins that do not have listed on the market even after the campaign and being abandoned by the developers. But some are alive and still working on it. Hopefully that time has come that the alive coin could gain value in the market because it is a payment for all effort we made to support the projects.

Of course, to get a reward, you need to find a successful ICO, but with the current market and a lot of scam it is very difficult to do. But generosity depends not only on this, you also need to have a high rank.

You just need to look more carefully for projects.Due to the bad market, many people just take a wait-and-see position. So more work and you will be rewarded necessarily.Even in such a bad market, many ICO still collect pretty good amounts. And they do not offend participants in the bounty.Ie now there is such a moment when it is necessary to participate not in everybody's bounty, but to choose more closely the projects that carry out bounty.

These are obvious things when they talk about cryptocurrencies implying that cryptocurrencies must collect money, because if a project cannot raise money, it simply cannot pay anything and cannot work.

Well am still not surprise such topic is being raise here till date about how some Bounty participants didn't receive payment for their Bounty or how they participated in failed ICO project. This is inevitable in the space and I think it is better you carry out proper research before participating in any Bounty you choose to take part in. There are so many bounty activities, but there are very few real valuable projects. I hope that the bounty activities I participated in will bring me benefits.
If you simply want that which you have participated or participating in to give you some benefits in the long term, I am sure you will try as much as possible to do due diligence when you are trying to participate in a bounty.

Things just do not happen out for you by luck unless you understand you will always have to make your own move, and make sure that what you are putting your time and resources into will be worth it in the long run. There is no way in this day and age, an ICO will not fail if it is useless, and if you participate in something that is shitty, then you will have yourself to blame after wasting your precious time.

A closer look at events this year will make someone to conclude that things has changed drastically. Now we have more bounty hunters with only few credible projects whose bounty allocation is not even that much.
That is why in every situation you always have to at least try as much as possible to fine tune your own skills to be able to get the best eventually from any project in the long run.

You may think there has been a lot of bounty hunters, but in the same vein you also have to understand that there are some campaigns within a bounty that some people run away from because they do not have the skills to do it well, why not learn the skill and hop into those ones while making sure you are using your time on a project that is worth it in the long run, by also doing some good research on the team and the product availability.

Many of the community here got some big profit with their bounties, just look back 3 years ago. By that time I could say most of the campaign are good and they pay in the right time. But comparing now, it was a big far difference where most of the campaign failed their ico.  Though, there is total stakes or token but never been distribute to the participants to their wallets at all.

Since they are related by nature, therefore, a failed ICO means a failed bounty too. Bounty is just a creation out from ICO's idea and in the hopes of reaching its targeted soft or hard cap, bounty was created. If the team that made the ICO will not function well, then chances are, a failed ICO is about to happen.

Simple way to describe what bounty is, it's only the way to attract people to advertize their project to other people. How will they pay people if they didn't get money from investors? Also, nowdays, there are lot of fake ICOs which only want to scam investors

Have you been contributing services for a bounty campaign for a long time? I think you're new here compared to other friends. You need to work harder if you want to get maximum results. I have been in the bounty campaign for over a year, many bounties have been successful, but the pay is not too big. There are even ICOs that reach hardcaps, but the pay is minimal and there are even no markets. But do not discourage us in this matter. And my advice, you also need to learn more about cryptocurrency. Because it is not only bounty to get money, there are investments, mining, and so on.

I made good amount of money from bounty campaigns in 2017, but this year, things have changed. I think the situation of bounty is relevant to the situation of total Crypto market, ICOs will not end, it is just not appropriate time to run an ICO, because investors prefer keeping their money when the market situation is bad, but when we join the bull market, new kind of ICO will appear.

The earnings of the bounty hunters will depends on the outcome of the ICOs which we participated. Thus we make it sure that our works will not be wasted on those fake projects. Moving forward, we should have our checklist that we will consider before joining the bounty and this will include the checking of thus ICOs to have a assurance that the project is not a scam. Although it's unpredictable but we have a higher chances if we will do our own diligent research.

Find the best ICO's then, maybe you have joined a low potential project that's why majority of the campaigns you joined have failed. Do a research and evaluate them to avoid scam projects. This year bounties are not so rewarding but always stay patient, no matter how small you got it can be worth a fortune in the future.

You do not really know how much time you're going to need to wait for the coins that you receive after a bounty campaign to have any value and when we take into account that most coins disappear after a few months of being in the market and we also consider that the market is not giving signs that it is going to recover it is likely that your participation in those campaigns is going to be futile.

So many ICO are failing today, even though some of them met their softcap they then vanish and no rewards are given. I have this one bounty when after the ICO sale, they burn a lot of tokens leaving a small circulation amount that leads also to little rewards for bounty.

Most ICO's would definitely failed up nowadays and only a few will able to hit up their cap and its just normal to think that if the project didn't able
to reach their suggested funding then its normal for bounty hunters to expect that they wont really get anything and that's definitely always be part of the risk
as a hunter so you should prepare yourself on that.

ICO failed means they don't even reach their soft cap so the team will return the money to the investors and will shut their project anymore so how they will pay the bounty hunters. So you need to join on the best ICO projects if you want to get paid or just stick with the bitcoin paying campaigns but nowadays no ICO running bitcoin payment campaigns.

Many of us got good profits at the end of last year and earlier this year but these things don't last long. Projects simple can't raise enough funds, market is down and so are our rewards, nothing can be done about this. You don't have to join bounties and waste time thinking that you won't receive reward.

If I recall properly one of my very early signature campaigns more or less had a failed ICO in the sense they did not collect enough funds but they paid out anyway and we still decided to proceed. I've also seen one that failed in end of 2016, and just went ahead to develop throughout 2017 and now, and they're about to try for another very small round of crowdfund.

Kind of projects or developers that doesn't really easily give up on what they do want to achieve. Sometimes funding would really be hard if we do base on the current market condition
plus the confidence of people thru investment nowadays is becoming slimmer. Ive remembered some bounties that do pay up with BTC or ETH.

the failure of ico means that it also fails the bounty project you are following. and you will not get paid. This memnag happens very often, even I have experienced it very often. therefore I realized the weakness of the project's team performance. we don't need to be disappointed if we don't get paid from projects that the ico fails or projects that don't reach the target. they also did not get the results of the project that failed.

Money has never been the most important thing that a project should have, the two most important things a project needs to have so it can become successful are a good idea and the ability to make that idea a reality and unfortunately many icos do not have any of those two factors and as you may guess that causes them to fail and to lose money in the long term.

The growing number failed ico bounties might also caused by a poor market condition because i noticed that last year where all cryptos are booming , the succes rate of picking an ico/bounty has also been raised .

I agree, and also the circumstances dictate how well you're going to do with bounty campaigns, in the previous year many people were making good money with bounty campaigns because the market of cryptocurrencies was giving profits that we have never seen before but now that the market is crashing it is almost impossible to make sufficient profits with bounty campaigns.

I never receive big amount of money from the beginning by just joining bounty program because as you said there are many ICOs failure that is why those bounty project turn to be scam and their participants did not get their reward by just doing all task there in that bounty.

Maybe the solution of this big problem is take more time to gather more knowledge on how to distinguish which are possible project that can bring good future for us, and we need to learn how to recognize which   project are scam and possible to be scam in the future, so in that we can go away from that bounty and we can choose the good one.

Now finding a really successful ICO project is like looking for a needle in a haystack. You don't have to think too much, if you get a reward, you'll be waiting for the bull season again.

We need to wsit for another year in order to see bull run because market fluctuation are kept increasing. Now only successful projects are reaching their hard cap because they are showing their potential about their future developments.

to avoid a failed project, you can join a bounty that has reached the softcap, usually projects that have reached the softcap on their sales have a great chance to distribute rewards to the bounty hunter.
What you say is true, why? because most rules bounty campaign, they will distribute bounty when they have reached the Softcap, Yeah that why if ICO not reach the softcap then bounty will fail as well

I have got some big rewards from some bounties that I participated before , like Nuclus vision bounty , but they were in 2017 , From middle of 2018 finding those kind of bounties has been very hard but i still believe we can get some fish even in stormy weather .

for 5 months I worked and I haven't got anything now. I began to doubt that bounty would be my main job. I have to find another job without leaving the bounty. one day I will find a good bounty.

The crypto market is very low at the moment so new projects are merely getting any investors even when the bitcoin is struggling to get the cap values into it so ICOs are getting failed and even some ICOs which reached soft cap also returning their investment amount just because the price drop of the crypto currencies so you need to wait until the market gets recovered if you want to make profits from bounties.

Is there someone here who really get some big profit with their bounties? I am sick and tired of failed Bounties that I joined, most of them didn't reward my works due to ICO failure.

Most of us the same experience so I feel you that after your hard work and don't have reward it hurt to us. That's why we need to find a very good one project so we can earn too a good reward. Qw need to study the we want deeply so we k ow what will be the worth of that project.

It is clear that bounties campaigns are not going to be profitable for some time so it is better for you to try to find other ways to get tokens during the bear market, I know it is not easy but if bounty campaigns are not profitable and are in fact turning out to be a complete waste of time it is better that you use your time to try to find some other way to make money in the market.

do not complain about all your failures in participating in bounty and ico programs, not only are you tired but I also feel what you feel now, if my advice now is to find projects that are clearly in funding and good concepts with well-known partners in their fields and look for experienced managers too.

Most bounties I joined has become successful in ICOs this year however price of token is 90% less ICO price when listing on exchanges and its not good to bounty hunters like us I hope many managers start to pay us in eth and not in token some changes will be made.

That one reason why i hate those ico sometimes, cause after working for almost two months you wont get nothing. What i do is to check first the project if its legit or.not.

I can tell that got profit from project with failed ICO. They cut bounty payments, but distributed it. And also they did not stop to develop project, so this week i sold their tokens. And it is really strange, because sometimes i cant sell tokens from 'successful' projects, which raised millions $.

I'm interested in crypto coin for 1.5 years, and I've actually earned $ 200-250 as a prize. But often stems from my own mistakes, need to know to sell when the price rises

With the current bad situation, most hunters have no positive results. This is true, a lot of people feel tired just like you. I am also one of them.

From month of April, ICO are getting failed and they are not able to pay their bounty hunters. Some of bounty managers transferred tokens but that tokens are not listed on any exchange. I will suggest you to participate in those bounties that are paying in ETH or BTC. Otherwise you will participate in 10 bounty campaigns and there is 50% change that you will get reward from one bounty campaign that will pays you.

Bad markets make projects unable to call capital successfully. It's a common situation, all bounty hunters are going through the same situation as you.

That's why you joined on IOVO campaign, which will pay you with ETH and some of their ICO token.
But to let you know, if a token hasn't listed yet on exchange, it's because they are afraif if their token will be worthless on market like this.

Due to the market fluctuation, even some potential ICO's cannot able to manage to reach the hard cap. So after crowdsale along with the developments, they will surely reach a higher value in the market. So we need to have little patience for marker recovery.

What you mean by success? If the coins that you got out of a bounty campaign are going down in value then how can you say that the ico has been successful, if a project has good developers and they have a good idea and they work hard to make it a reality then the coin will become successful and naturally its price will go up so if the price has not go up and instead is going down then most likely that ico is a failure.

You have to follow a lot of bounties, and choose a quality bounty. don't just choose bounty and due to the market fluctuation, even some potential ICO's cannot able to manage to reach the hard cap. So after crowdsale along with the developments, they will surely reach a higher value in the market. So we need to have little patience for marker recovery.

To avoid such situations, always choose bounties of ICOs where its team members attend roadshows and other crypto conferences.
Nowadays people wont invest in ICOs whose team members are standing behind the curtain. Thats the reason why many icos fail. Another important thing is check whether the team have their mvp ready. If these two things are there then join in that bounty. Definitely it will manage to reach softcap and you will get paid for your hardwork.

I agree with you that the team is an important part of a project. but there are lots of ico hadcap but the payment for the bounty hunter is still postponed, this is a result of the decrease in the price of bitcoin followed by other coins.
procrastination is part of the strategy to stay in this situation.

I see people don't work too hard for the prize anymore. Because many projects fail, even if they distribute bounty tokens, they are not listed on a exchange.

Then the best thing you got or learned from them is their similarities.  I'm sure that you have noticed the there is a pattern in those projects that have failed on their ICOs. Use them so next time that there is only a small chance that your efforts will be in vain again. You can also try this trick which is that you will only join in the middle where you can see that the ICO project is very close in closing their softcap.
