Hey,

I have been investing in some btc recently and i have seen that in my country i can pay for example in a pizza restaurant (when i order online) with online coins.
Do you think that btc will become the future currency of our world?

I love that you can pay for something as normal as a pizza with coins! I hope that is where the world is going.

When you say currency of the future, does it mean it will make fiat obsolete? Again, I don't see it happening though, perhaps bitcoin will be widely accepted as means of on-line payment or even you can purchase something in your local groceries or pizza for that matter. But if you are thinking that it will replace fiat, it won't happen. Let's take for example USD, do you think that bitcoin can replace it as the universal currency? I don't think so.

That's not obvious, at least in the nearest future. Cryptocurrencies in general (including Bitcoin of course) aren't yet supported by the governments around the world, which keep supporting their fiat currencies. Also, banks keep fighting cryptocurrencies right now.
But despite these facts, Bitcoin and crypto still growing up fastly and they have a shining future.

It may happen that bitcoin will be the currency of the future seeing the growth of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin in particular.

 To my point of view we cannot blindly say that Bitcoin or digital currency will be the currency of our future . Now everybody accepts  Bitcoin since it is easy and fast in transaction all over the global without a third party interference so the transaction fees is too low and fast.

I admit that bitcoin will be the currency of our future .If you watch very well,you will see that many wealthy people are buying bitcoin.IF you watch very well,you will see that some  industries and countries are using bitcoin as means  of payment.Even though government of the world is doing everything to stop bitcoin,but at the end of the day bitcoin keeps on gaining momentum.
However,the majority of people prefer trading bitcoin to stocks,and this is a sign showing bitcoin will be the future currency.To be more accurate,many exchanges from different countries  are being established,and bitcoin is traded on those exchange once the exchange is lunched.
In other words,many countries are carrying out research on blockchain technology,and as well wanting to establish its own digital currency.
This rapid development  shows that in ten years or more bitcoin will be the future of currency.Some technology we are enjoying today never started big ,but at the end ,it made huge progress in the world ,and I believe bitcoin will be future of money because it gives freedom to people.
You should know that no country can claim bitcoin as their own currency ,and that is what people want.people are tired of involving  third party in their transaction.People are tired of exploitation going on in the banks.people want to send money and buy whatever they want online without passing through strict conditions.
From my own perspective,once bigger exchanges are regulated to reasonable extent,bitcoin will be the future of money in no distant time.

In which country do you live? yes bitcoin is the future currency and probably the government will create something like this or mostly adopt it as a secondary payment system. But they won't allow it to fully penetrate the financial system of the country because its risky on their part, it is decentralized and the government can't control it if something happens badly such as manipulation.

And base on the current events today, we are seeing that many are adopting it already so the future is already happening. You can buy not only with pizza's but with almost everything and it all depends to the merchant or business that has adopted bitcoin.

It will become and it is now started but not the main currency of any country, it has the possibility to replace paypal or visa card for online transaction but I doubt to replace fiat I still prefer fiat to buy small things especially in remote areas not every place has internet access.

I think btc is in our future but not as a currency.  It is store of value but because of high transaction fees and limited availability, it will likely not be a currency.

If you are talking about bitcoin become the main currency then the answer is no, there are complicated system that makes crypto impossible to become the main currency, but if you are talking about the sub currency, then its possible, it depends on how the government of each countries see about bitcoin

I think the future transactions are digital, not fiat. bitcoin and crypto will be the main transaction and fiat is the reserve currency.

If you have felt that, then it means that bitcoin has become a legitimate payment system in your country, because not all stores in the world apply it. Excluding just the pizza restaurants i think bitcoins are been used even now on various online shopping platform and bitcoins are been accepted as a mean of payment there.
Bitcoins will surely be the currency of the future if bitcoins continues to remain much profitable for everyone.

It will be used same as we use credit card or debit card in combination with the traditional money! Even if we want to accept it or not, but any kind of computer technology is a lil bit difficult to use for elderly people for now, though it will change in future.

Yes no doubt Bitcoin will be the future currency. There is lot of reasons behind that one is the cost of paper currency and also the cost to make available to everyone that paper currency . But in Bitcoin there is no extra cost behind that you can use direct without any third party involment, the only thing you must have internet connection for that. So no doubt coming years are of crypto currency not paper currency, in crypto Bitcoin is the supreme.

Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency if we will be looking at it's price in the market. Bitcoin is the most expensive crypto in the market that is the reason it is the best, well in terms of it's price.

Also, I don't think that Bitcoin will be the future currency for digital payment since there are a lot of other cryptos or digital currencies that can be used as a method of payment. Bitcoin is still expensive and has a transaction fee that is also irritating sometimes since the fee is expensive and there is also the transaction time. I am not negative but I think this is the problem.

if in my opinion, bitcoin will become the future currency, because the fiat currency is still needed anytime, so bitcoin is only an asset for our future investment place to be exact

Bitcoin remains a future investment with increasing developments, so it can be said that bitcoin is the currency that is capable of being the highest value. Bitcoin is very good to have, indeed the initial introduction through an online pizza order, but now the value exceeds the current price of the pizza.

I find it weird when people wait for bitcoin to be a mainstream currency to replace fiat. I mean this will be a tall order to achieve. Using own research and learning Bitcoin success is more defined when people transact peer to peer which we can do at the moment without waiting for govt approval. It will be the masses who will drive this adoption and not government. I mean look at it this way who wants to receive or send money wait for 7 days ( like i am currently waiting for my client's payment to clear into my account simply because its an international transfer) or have your money withheld by providers like paypal for no reasonable explanation, yet we know by now its an open secret these financial intermediaries are not just holding your money but trading and using it all this while. I can go on and mention why peer to peer is the way to go such as zero cost I mean for even international money remittance this train a'int stopping when ordinary people know the immense benefit of using bitcoin. Forgive me for the long reply guys it just the excitement when talking matters bitcoin  ;D

It is good to use online payment but still fiat is good to used for offline stores. Fiat and bitcoin have different functions on our life and no one has to remove to leave the other because both has role. Maybe more time needs before bitcoin totally accepts as currency in the future. Though it has been implemented on some stores, we still need fiat on hand.

for a transaction in the country money is very vital and important, but if bitcoin is used for payment at a restaurant it might be a new breakthrough and I see it is still only in some countries. so it's a thing that can't be predicted whether the future of bitcoin can be used as a currency for us.

I think it will definitely play a role in our future, whether it becomes the main currency of our future is unknown.
I don't think we can truly eradicate fiat but maybe working alongside fiat is where bitcoin and cryptocurrency we can live happily, it is exciting to be part of this revolution.

According to my thinking, bitcoin will remain like this in the sense that some bitcoin has been adopted and has been used as a currency (for transactions). However, it is not easy to shift the fiat currency that has been recognized and used by each country. What is virtual money will be difficult to control by the government and not necessarily every country uses bitcoin as their legitimate currency.

Btc won't be the currency of the future, as it's price is not stable. It won't be a currency that we use to buy beer. However, it will be accepted in many places that support the conversion to dollar.

I think the bright future is connected not rather to the acceptable but to an increase in safety and promoting btc as value storage. When everyone can safely store some btc in an easy-to-access and very safe place without any tech knowledge (for example, go to some institution and buy btc like gold), then it will get a huge spike in popularity and price. As for now, masses don't have literacy, although almost everyone has already heard about btc and blockchain.

Actually It can be. But we need some times. We have to find a solutions for energy consume and transaction speed. If we will use Bitcoin for a payment, we have to improve Blockchain network. No one wants to wait for 15 minute when make a payment.

If you mean fiat currency then I don't see that happening or will happen ever. Because banks are still against the cryptos. Yes, I do not for a minute doubt that Bitcoin is the future of our world. The blockchain technology is gradually being introduced into all spheres of our life and Bitcoin will also soon become part of the life of every person.

I don't know what will happen in the future, especially bitcoin is still new. If bitcoin becomes a currency, of course I don't think it is suitable, because the very volatile price of bitcoin is actually not suitable if used for currency. With high fluctuations in my opinion bitcoin is more appropriate if used for investment or trade, this will be more profitable. So I don't think if bitcoin will become a currency in the future.

Wow, that's very good. in my country, transactions with bitcoin payments can only buy digital products, such as electricity tokens and pulse vouchers. but for future currencies. Bitcoin will be "one of the" currency of the future as a way of payment, not the legal currency of a country. It won't happen in the near future because the government won't let Bitcoin make it, i'll be just considered as a digital payment or a gateway payment. Bitcoin can't really replace fiat currency but there are a big chance that bitcoin can become a legal currency. As of now bitcoin is widely use in different country and most of the country already consider as currency which they accept it as payment on the bill of their costumer. I think in the future we can use bitcoin to clean up various online services, but I do not think this is going to be as fast as the crypto market is not yet popular to most people and countries.

   All the possibility is in the future market. We just had notice of the 10 years of Bitcoin as posted in the market, all are hoping for the next 10 years to count. We've seen the beaten on Bitcoin with a lot of issue posted on it, Scammed, Hacker, and the issue on Regulation, yet Bitcoin remains stable with good fundamentals, good market structures. Let's hope for the best on Bitcoin for the future.

Yes i agree on that there will maybe a great possibility that in the near future bitcoin will really rise up high same with the users many more users will appreciate the payment system that bitcoin has. But I also believe that it takes a couple of year or maybe a decade to make the bitcoin a currency of all country in the whole world because not all country support bitcoin today.

Not necessarily BTC alone, but cryptocurrency will definitely be the main currency of the world in the future. And Bitcoin, being the most popular and appreciated coin will be the top crypto in use. Of course, you will still have other alternative options as there will always be great altcoins around. Popularity wise, bitcoin is going there and its just a matter of time before everyone gets attached to it. Bitcoin's going to be the future of online transactions and along with its success as a cryptocurrency. But knowing when that's possible to happen, we don't know.

This will not happen, the government and banks will still dominate the issuance and circulation of money, our current crypto is decentralized, which is not in line with the national and banking philosophy.

Bitcoin is the future, he can be anything he wants. It all depends on what bitcoin fans want to use it for. As long as you don't use it for bad things.

Bitcoin itself will never be the currency of the world. People who stay at power will never simply let it happen. I can only suppose that one day the humanity will come to total globalization and all countries will be united, then there will be a place for only currency, will it be bitcoin - I really doubt.

Hearing about you paying pizza sounds so normal and simple, like everyone can do it, and I'm happy to hear that. Indeed, I agree with your opinion, bitcoin will be the future of currency where every single thing can be easily bought by bitcoin. But, it doesn't mean bitcoin replace the fiat. I think fiat should be remain as the currency as well. It's just because we need to keep the balance between the payment system and its transaction. It will be even better if both currencies can be a collaborative system, I wonder how easy life would be.

Bitcoin has crossed many of the hurdles in the way and it is the most successful cryptocurrency of all time it has been replacing the fiat money almost now many sales and purchases are made in bitcoin most of the online and if it is successfully accepted worldwide then it is the future currency and will remove the fiat money from the world.

In my opinion as it today Bitcoin will not stand a chance at being the future currency because of the fundamental flaws which limits it in volume and transaction cost. We may be looking at another crypto as our future coin.
