It is hard to predict price but bitcoin as a master can easy go to 12k buy end of this year. I am realistic and not romantic that where i see the price. What price you predict btc will be by end of year.

Last year, there are so many outside factors that affects the sudden increase of the price of the bitcoin. It not just a miracle how the bitcoin's price increase and decrease in a huge amount. In order to increase it, we should be always active and participating in investments to it.

If the price of bitcoin will reach $12,000 to $13,000 for this year? I don't know only bitcoin knows.

The price should skyrocket and able to reach $10,000 first before seeing like. And its likely that we're going to break that quickly and it has to break $7,000 first before looking at that possible. I'm not going to predict anymore since most of the prediction nowadays are of a failure.

At the end of last year, the same thing happened that in last 2 months bitcoin rise very high in price and hit the 20k price all time high and if something same happens like it happens last year we will sure see bitcoin at 12 to 13k by the end of this year. And at this time I am hoping that we will see a bull run like last year.

The price is expected to see a great pump probably to $10000 by the end of the year.  Which i think it's feasible,  hitting $12000 is possible but might not be this year, that might be in  Q1 2019

considering that a few months ago there are had been a lot incident of exchange being hacked and other bad news, it seemed very difficult to reach that price because in my opinion the confidence of traders and investors began to decrease but no one knows that because in crypto world everything can happen instantly so let's wait and see

If bitcoin can break 10k and it looks so easy to achieve $13k but it will be so difficult without any big bubble that can create FOMO, ETF has already denied again and that means we need a lot of proper development to attract more adoption in the cryptocurrency. In fact that so many people are still saying a non-sense thing about the market.

There is nos exact predict about Bitcoin, we just can guess and wait. Hopefully, Bitcoin will come back and soon hit 12 to 13k like what you said.

It is more realistic to say it can reach 8k to 10k by the end of the year. Just wait for more development if you want to see a huge comeback just like last year.

In my personal opinion, bitcoin is likely to reach 7k-8 if the bitcoin ETF is accepted by the SEC. The 12k-13k is very difficult to achieve by the end of this year

Is there something bad that you have seen that will result to just 13k rise? I know we are in this place were full of surprises because it happens that pump and dump will come sooner. Maybe 13k above is also possible due to bitcoin potential and enough popularity that earned from the past until now.

There are strong prediction that the price of bitcoin before the end of 2018 is 25k to 30k. The prediction will remain as prediction until the time the fact will happen. I'm hoping that even 20k of bitcoin increase is enough to heal the deep would of the big holders and small crypto holders.

I am expecting the same like the value might go to 12k by the end of the market. It's pretty hard to predict these days as the value increases someday and drops very soon. The market is still in red zone, BTC should show it's reputation and come back strongly.

There really is no reason to think that it won't take off again, so it is best to be prepared for when it does.

according to my observations of the bitcoin price movements at the end of the year, bitcoin prices usually experience price increases, so in my opinion at the end of this year, bitocin prices can return to price recovery and can be very expensive at the end of this year.

I think we will be ending 2018 with Bitcoin still in a range between $6,100 and $9,300 most likely less than $8,000. However, I think the next Bull phase in Bitcoin will begin end of Feb through March 2019when we will see Bitcoin surpass $10,000 once again.

I guess you are right, after seeing the CMC everyday it looks like this year will not bring us joy like it did last year. Almost 40days gone of the last quarter and still the market is struggling to show it's best which means there will not be a good change in value this year. However I believe it will recover slowly and turn things around within few months, let's wait and watch how it plays this time.

That's quite exaggerative mate, in as much as we say cryptocurrencies are volatile and there could be a fluctuation in its price but i strongly doubt that bitcoin will even go beyond over $10k US by the end of this year. But we  can expect some rise in value to the value you are predicting probably next year and not this year.

Bitcoin prices in 12 000 - 13 000 dollars by the end of this year, we will almost certainly not see. After such a long period of stagnation, it is unlikely that it will almost more than double in price over the last six weeks. In my opinion, investors are not yet ready to invest such large sums in Bitcoin. Many will fear repetition of the events of the past year.

for me i think it will not hit 12 t 13k in the end of the year because as you can see that the price of the bitcoin is too low.

I think your target is not impossible especially with the recent news that China has lift the ban on bitcoin and have declared it legal, so now everyone can buy, hold and trade bitcoin in China, this news can really pump the price in coming weeks as China ban news was what that triggered the bears last time.

Well the time will only tell as no one can say the main price it could be , and I know it might be hard to go that way by end of the year as the whole tools still point figure toward bear which means we are not seeing major surgery this year, in my own opinion .

Many articles that I have read that bitcoin will still have a chance to pump like that in the end of this year 2018. They said that bitcoin will start pumping in the end of November and it's one of the signed that bull run will come this year. But in my own prediction bitcoin will have a hard time to recover and it will start pumping first to second month next year.

Twelve to Thirteen thousand  speculated price for bitcoin before the end of the year is a reasonable price target that csn be avhieve provided there are more demand to hold bitcoin and spend bitcoin for christmas. I am hoping to see price action and volume!

Wow thats some confident you got there. Its easy to predict a price but when you putting some investment on the line, I dont think you cam easily say that stuff. Maybe you will be conservative and will inclined to understand the proper analysis on how a coin increase. But if youll ask me, I think the safe price it could advance is 8k to 10k levels. These levels are considered based on its chart analysis. If bitcoin escape the 7k level then this prediction will happen but since bitcoin steadily on 6k its still early to say that amount you mentioned.

i thinks its too over confidence.to reach $10.000   again we need strong effort and big investors.and we see now price still move around $6500.this year maybe could not repeat last year history.

Bitcoin is very popular here in crypto currency and to the investors around the world so i guess it is not possible that bitcoin will hit $12k to 13k end of this year just like what happen in previous year that bitcoin price make surprise us.

End of this year, look like that it not possible but i believe that next year s fir 6 month it can be in 13k or 14k and i think next year will starting the bear market again. I am doing all my plans for this senario.

Market price of crypto unpredictable. But I'm sure their prices will go up at the end of the year. But letting BTC increase to 12k to 13k by the end of 2018 is a challenge. It is November already and bitcoin was unable to surpass $7500 for how many months now so i dont expect that it will cross $12,000 by the end of the year. My speculation based on what i observe is that bitcoin will only reach $7500 to $8500 by the end of the year. 2018 is just a preparation for cryptocurrency for a massive adoption by next year.

It has to grow twice to reach this goal so far I don't see any news that can affect growth. I do not think that the growth will be aggressive this year, I'm waiting for next year and buy Bitcoin now.

That will be a good price for bitcoin if we can mange to rise at $10k level considering that most of the investors are now waiting for a bull run. Although this will still depends on the supply and demand but if we can have a good news the price can rally to break the $8k wall and reach $10k.

I think BTC will increase to  max $8-9k end of the year. But it depends on the ETF approval as well. If it will be positive the price can further increase.

We can aspect the price of BTC around 10K at the end of 2018 or in January 2019. But if we analyze the market then it’s a difficult task for bitcoin to touch 10K, in the crypto market everything can possible some sudden pumps can make market green & help btc to touch 10K.

No one can accurately predict how far bitcoin will go before end of this year but $12000 and $13000 is still very possible.  I have been bullish on bitcoin and therefore I think bitcoin will appreciate in some days to come.  I was telling my friend that bitcoin may go as high as $10,000 before end of this year but he disagree with me.  I think we are at the ranging trend currently because for the past one week bitcoin has been within $6200 to $6500 and that is a sign that breakouts is about to occur.  We should keep all fingers cross and see what happens next.
No one here that did not expect bullish trend and that is why bitcoin is not going below $6000.  Another reason I think bull run should commence now is that most of the people that are ready to sell bought bitcoin above $10,000 or minimum $8000.

Not even in your wildest dreams bitcoin is going to reach that price at the end of the year, there are less than two months left and literally an economic miracle would have to happen, like bill gates putting all his money in cryptos (which I see improbable since he has a negative stance against the cryptos) or the traditional financial system would end up collapsing, which I doubt very much will happen in the next two months.

Not too sure. As no-one predict the right amount of the crypto, it all depends on the investirs.

In as much as in the crypto market anything is possible, I don't see this one happening this year. Bitcoin has received some serious bashing these past few months and nothing points to the fact that there is going to be geometric bull run as experienced last year. Predicting a bitcoin price of that magnitude at this point is far fetched. We can only hope for a stable price in bitcoin so that other altcoins can survive as all of them depend on bitcoin for price appreciation.

I think the market has proved hard to predict this year, a lot of crypto analyst have predicted the market recovery but failed.

Nothing is certain though. The coins in the market is very volatile and the price of each most especially bitcoin is very susceptible to changes. I don't see a clear sky for bitcoin since it dumped too bad and stayed as it is for too long. It might recover next year, but not this year.

$12,000 - $13,000 isn't the all time high of 2017 though its quite today.

Though I'm not going to say that there's no absolute chance that it will reach these two prices. I know that we're not yet uprising but to say that there's no chance for this year, we still one month to go. When it comes to the price behavior of bitcoin any thing can happen the predicted price is quite achievable before the end of this year, recall mid last year the price was ranging at $6K+ but later the price pumps and boom!!! an ATH was attained at $20K.

With this situations, I think the chance is small although it's possible to happen at the end of this year. Bitcoin price is down now, and we don't know how much the price will stay because the price still on the way to get more down. But I hope that the price can stay for a while in that price and then, in the next week, the price can bounce up to the higher price. It is the hard situations for all of us, and we can only be patient and stay calm and not going to sell the bitcoin that we already bought at the high price.

Not possible with your hips, Now the market is down and the BTC price is only 5500$ and the price can not be x2 in the next 2 weeks. I even think it will go down under 3000$ later this year

True, just like everything thought that the bull season for Bitcoin is starting then a sudden drop in price yesterday shocked the market.  Bitcoin price goes down below $6k and according to the article I read, there is no major reason why but somehow they relate the price going down to BCH fork and some other possible issue. With the current event, the possibility of Bitcoin hitting 12k this year became vague but well who knows, let us wait till the end year and see the price for ourselves.

Yes it is quite possible like currently it down to 5600 and it can be 12k at the end of this year, however, for that purpose there must be a really good development for bitcoin, like acceptance or legalization from a major country.

I think now the Drama is happening again, because at the moment the price of Bitcoin has fallen very deep, when there is good news from all over the world about the legality of Bitcoin, the ban on crypto ads has been withdrawn by Google and there is still a lot of good news for Bitcoin, but this is unexpected the freefall price of $ 6200 goes to $ 5500. It's almost impossible for bitcoin to reach $12,000 this year. I say only almost because there is still a slight chance of getting there. This is a very unpredictable market, in just a matter of time bitcoin price may change either rise or decline. The bubble last year happened in December. So, it is possible to happen this year.

The market has not shown itself very much lately and therefore we are unlikely to see such a price at the end of the year.

I want to believe in this, but as you may know, the price of Bitcoin dropped by 20 percent during last week. Now I am not sure if we see any bull run till the end of this year. It would be great for sure, but it won't happen without a lot of fresh investors.

To be honest no one can predict the upcoming market situation as there is no stability in the market, ah...well l guess it might reach to 12k but anything can happen all of a sudden. As of now holding coins is good and those panic sellers have to stay calm this is just a Jerk, do not lose hope and sell your coins. Plan to hold atleast for a year if you buy coins and understand the market and sell for a good price.

We have already end of the year, I am not sure we can see double of bitcoin in this quantity of time. Market movements is dramatically decreased thats why i do not wait a huge rise soon.

Not really. Bitcoin can't get to even 7000 before we enter 2019. The price of bitcoins is bearish and bleeding so heavily within last week that the trust and faith many investors have in it is reduce.

Yes i do agree with you .  we all wanted to have a stability but not to the point that cryptos will greatly dump   .   the real stability that we want is only when cryptos are in a good condition  or in their best peak price  because we can still earn good income and at the same time we can enjoy the benefits of using them as a standalone currency for payment purposes .

The market's state isn't as bad as this when this thread was started hence the hopes of getting to those points. It's foolish to still believe we can get to even close to 10k with only a few weeks left.

BUt i ak not closing the door of this bullrun but for me,we shoul not have this big expectation so we can afford of not having any bitter feeling if this idea fails this end year

Chances is now too slim to make it happen for this year end and I will set this prediction for next year as the possibility is much higher. Indeed its huge money needed to push the price higher and we need more and more investors to trust this technology to increase the demand of bitcoin.

in my opinion it will hit the 2500 in end of 2018.
and in end of 2019 it may be hit 12ks. because there is a halving on 2020.

If we have a look at bitcoin's previous progress bitcoin was start growing by the end of December and reach their maximum by the first quarter of the year. This time we haven't seen such progress from bitcoin which leads bitcoin to cross 13k$ by the end of 2018. We can expect that bitcoin will be at 5-6k$ by years end if it will start growing in 3-4 days.

Hopefully the bitcoin price will increase by the end of this year. Lot of people are hoping and expecting bitcoin to rise before this end year because some prediction is it will increase before this year end. But for me, manage your expectation because the more yu expect it will increase the more it will does not. Let's just wait what will happen this year end.

It will be very impossible that BTC will hit even close to $5000. With the current rate, bitcoin is heading for a dip and we can expect that it will immerse itself to much lower value as the year closes. That is highly unlikely to be honest. If there is a coming pump in the last days of the year, that might not even be enough to push Bitcoin to a five figure price. It might only be around $6,000. I am crossing my fingers.  ;)

Well most of prediction now is the bitcoin will ho down to 2k price which actually we don't know what will be the next price of bitcoin in a next few days. We don't know if its go higher or lower than to the price now.

I think this year bitcoin will be like last year where the price hit 20k. The history will repeat sooner or later, that's why people stay because they believe on bitcoin, they believe that the falling price is normal. They hold their coins even though the price fall down to 6k, it won't last forever. In fact, bitcoin always recover and get better.

This is probably the truth, the price from now on is not going to move in the way we have seen during the last years and instead of getting a bull market we are going to get a market that does not seem to move a lot, this has already happened in the past and will happen again.

Bitcoin may not even get to $4500 before end of this year again.  Just yesterday it add around $500 that makes it easy for bitcoin to get to $3756. I believe that we should expect grow from next year and bitcoin may be going close to $12,000 or $13000.

We are like 400% below the target which makes this nearly impossible to reach 12k or 13k...  as there are few days to go to end the year and prices have stabilized tremendously for any possible huge price leaps!

It's sad to say that we will not see bitcoin a highest price because until now we experience a volatile and bearish time in the market. So even we dont have any great profit for this year I think it's time to buy because its affordable.

Many would be happy, yes, but I don't think that even 6000$ is possible by the end of this year. And 12k or 13k is just wishful thinking, no chances for such price.
Current situation on the market is not showing the signs of any recovery soon so I supppse that the price will stay in current range without some significant changes. It's not excluded that even lower price is possible by the end of the year but I don't expect some significant increase. Also, there is no guarantee that price will grow in the next year but still I hope that the ratio between demand and supply will change and that market will go to the green.

Well as we can see the price last year is very bearish, we hope that this year 2019 will be have a good year end although it's starting of the year I can say that we will get there and I hope it will be great price before 2019 ends.

Lol i'd be thankful to see btc around 10k to end the year. It's going to be a long way up for us i think and there certainly would be a lot of obstacles that may even get us to new lows for this year. It's about having nerves of steel now to wait out the bears.

It`s a bit funny to say fair chances in crypto, there is nothing fair here. It`s impossible to predict bitcoin price in one year, everyone is trying that, but chances for anyone from us to make accurate prediction are the same, maximum 10%. We are all guessing, and sometimes realistic predictions are accurate, but I was here when some people said 20k dollars in 2017, do you know how many people believed in that, so very optimistic predictions can be accurate too.
We are in crypto, we have crypto, its normal to believe in it and in price rise. I hope we will see 5 digits price again soon, but truth is that nobody can say when will it happen.

No one or software can really tell or revealed if bitcoin is going to get to $12,000 and $13,000  this year 2019, but we can actually forecasts if that is possible.  If ETF is approve this year I am speculating that bitcoin might get to that level but if it is not approve it might remain within $3000 and $5000 throughout the year.

You're true mate, expectations is always not accurate at all times. Just wait and see what reality will bring in the future, and if that opinions will be meet this year $10k is an optimum price for btc. Hopefully beyond than that is a big surprise for everyone of us who has faith with bitcoin. The entire cryptocurrency community will have to rejoice when all predictions will become reality for those who patienly waited for greener market again to rise over.

Yeah, there are too many speculators in the market today and everyone has it's own prediction as where the price should be, but we can't really tell at this point because of the wild price swings, who knows, maybe we can top $20k or down to $2K at the end of the year. What I'm trying to drive out is that everything is possible but we also need to take in consideration that we are still in the bearish market so don't expect any high price.

Crypto market is very potential market, it can grow a lot, in my point of view many things can trigger some mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, even more than in 2017. OP's prediction already becomes wrong since we already in 2019 but never seen any value near to what he mentioned so just take it easy and keep doing what you are doing to make money.

Everyone is expecting for Bitcoin price to rise and cross this boundary of 10000$. But market is still kind of standing still and not moving forward and speculating with any value is not very clever because it's hard to predict how the price will go in the upcoming period. Don't set some concrete values as your goals you might end disappointed.

Once after bitcoin reaching the price above $20000, the expectation over bitcoin has increased drastically. From those days what we've experiencing is gradual fall in value. After a long the same has now stabilizing within specific limits of $3600-$4100 without big growth. As the year has been predicted to give good growth, we can expect to reach at least the $10000 mark by the end of the year.

The question is, when will Bitcoin touch 12-13k again? Are you aware that the market might gonna find another bottom due to the recent drop of Bitcoin on the last couple of weeks? Right. Need to just wait for the market to recover. The growth trend is very slow and not on its move, its staying more calm which is not much healthy to go about investing. Either we need to wait or look for other options for growth. But still hope 2019 should recover the loss of all investors who completely invested in crypto currency and are in loss hoping the market will boom like December 2017.

I think we should stop making wild speculations and probably focus on the real world while waiting for btc to recover. The price can be anything by the end of the year. I think 12-13k is possible fır the end of this year. After complete the accumulation zone the price of BTC will start to rise again according to market circle. And I believe at the end of 2020 we are going to see new all-time highs.

I really do not see how that is possible if you want to make profits in this market you need to predict what the market will do before it does, that is the only way, however what I do is to have several possibilities in my mind about what it could actually happen and that includes scenarios that go against what I think will happen, that way if that becomes true I am prepared to take the right action and not lose as much money.

It may possible to go higher than you expected and it might occur early as possible, once there are some big whales put again a large amount into bitcoin. Then,  many people will get attract  again and will going to invest on bitcoin.

Those big whales that we are expecting the are the financial institutions. It has been on the crowd and has been on the news that it's the one that will make the market go up again. 2018 was a failure for the expectation that bitcoin will reach $12,000 - $13,000. And because of that, the price seems to be one of the highest now that everyone has been thinking of.
