I like to day trading. Maximum time I like to trade on Idex. Idex is low quality but cool exchange site. There are maximum number of people doing trade on binance. Now my question is Which is Best exchange for Day/Short term trading?

Decentralized exchanges, while great are certainly not ideal for day or short term trading since you need liquidity and fast trades. Something like binance would be much much better, it has liquidity and pretty much instant trades.

The higher the 24 hour volume of an exchange, the better so i would go with
1. Binance
2. Kucoin
3. Huobi
4. OKex
the added advantage of these exchanges is either the reduced trading fees or the profits you share when you buy and hold their tokens the Binance con, Kucoin shares, Huobi Token etc


You are so right about this, Decentralized exchanges are not really a thing at the moment for most coins?tokens

Back in the day I would have said go with BTC-e - their trading volume was OK, but their order books had some crazy swings. Particularly on the non-USD trading pairs.

I have done a centralized exchange and the results are satisfactory, you can do it in binary with an amazing trading volume that will provide 2-5% profit per transaction but continuously and this promises

In day trading we have to setting and use stop loss to avoid huge loss when the price dump,  I was trade in idex but because in this exchange  no feature of stop loss so make me loss more than 50%. Since that,  I prefer to use Binance because available  feature of stop loss. Crypto market open all the times without close and we not possible to see the price movement all the times so use stop loss is important.

For beginner trader i recommended to trade in Gate.io because they listed alot of potential coin with trading pair USDT, Gate.io also added feature of price condition that we can use to setting stop loss and sell limit at the same times, other exchange that have this feature is Bitfinex but they required minimum deposit $10k, so Gate.io is other option for good exchange.

Since Binance has almost every volume of the world then you should try there because all the coins that may pump only for a short time.

Whatever trading platform you are making use of or whatever style of trading you have decided to choose, I believe one of the major things you need is liquidity which is one of the things that is always hard to find with decentralized exchanges and the decentralized exchanges we have now pretty much restricts you to only the trading of ERC20 tokens, so what is the point really? If you want to enjoy trading, either intraday, short term, long term, or whatever, to me, the centralized exchange is still the best bet for now and in that case, when it comes to other interesting features, i will always be going for binance.

Every exchanges are same for me their prices no longer to change of every coins maybe the volume can change if traders pick different exchanges site.

I think Binance is better although I have not been trading for a while now but because of the higher liquidity and also the API options that it offers it makes this exchange better for faster day trading. because you usually want to use some sort of automation (like a trading bot) for it and having a good API is an important matter.
but if that is not the case for you then stick to the biggest exchange according to daily volume and also based on how trusted they are.

Binance would do all your needs already. You got your trading tools there, that could help you tell the margins, Technical Analysis, in short. Although searching for other exchanges would also help you because rates vary sometimes, I am just stating what could be the most relevant exchange to choose right now. Day trade or even a long-term holding would do in Binance. Go give it a shot.

I like Bitfinex for the day trading. They have interesting types of orders like OCO and trailing stop.

Go leveraged trading in Bitmex. By leveraging a position, you can get more profit (and potential loss too, remember). You won't have to pay the settlement fee either if you close your position before the settlement happen. Don't worry about engine and volumes, Bitmex has the best trading engine (although it may be not functioning properly during peak session, but can't blame them for that) and biggest volume.

I think short term trading requires volume and liquidity so I think IDEX will not be equal to Binance. I trade in Binance and hunt cheap altcoin on IDEX.

We have not listed to many coins but you can pick our exchange also for trading

There alot of crypto currency exchanges site which are good for day trading, what you just need to do is stick the one you know how to use best because crypto day trading have to deal with timing and any slide mistake could cause alot. However, I personally like binance but Idex is the exchange you know how to use bext stick to it.

If you want to day trade, you must go for the exchange with high volume so that your orders would be hit faster than low volume exchanges. Bad thing is they didn't allow as many coins as DEX's and the fees are pretty high.

It depends on how many assets you want to trade. If a lot I think Binance is very good option, and HitBTC is not bad. If you want to trade only top-assets (BTC, ETH and something else) you can go to BitMEX or BitSeven.

Binance would be a good option since it has pretty good volume, and good variety of coins. Last but not the least, its trustworthy.

If you are interested in day trading then your best option is by far to trade in an exchange that has a lot of volume, that way you will be able to sell your coins with no problem, you also need to look for an exchange that has many pairs that way you will have more options to trade and to make money in the short term, if I were you that is what I would be looking for.

I am really getting tired of all that people that are saying that binance is the best exchange,, why do you think so? Only because all the tokens that get listed in there are pumping? I see no other reason.

Poloniex is a good exchange also, the same for Idax (it's a top 10 exchange)

Kucoin is good too, for daytrading.

I will choose Binance for the best exchanges for trading but if you want to choose the other then i suggest that don't put or leave everything of your investment in any exchanges because they might exit scam you then you get back again your crypto if you lost it except to the good and top exchanges.

Do some research to know what exchanges who ranked first for almost traders that they used.

Biggest volume from all market i think Binance right, big volume market is good for day trading because price movee very fast. Maybe in past we can see Poloniex, but it is not really popular for now.

Yes, if you really want to be day trading or doing short term trading, I believe volume is something you really want to be taking advantage of as well as liquidity and that is one of the reasons why it is always important to take advantage of liquidity in most cases when it comes to trading the market.

A lot of people coming newly into the market tend not to do a proper research on the exchange they want to be trading on, and just pick any exchange without questions and then blame the market for whatever comes out of it. At least, if you do not know an exchange to pick, just make use of the reputable ones, binance, bittrex, bitfinex, and other well-known and well used exchanges.

If the case is you need liquidity and fast trade then you should go to non third-party exchange like Bancor Network to trade and exchanging tokens. Day trading is risky most of the time but using exchange like bancor with smooth transfer will give you less risk with your asset. This is my preference for day trading and it depends on you and your researches about some leading exchanges.

There is no 'one exchange fits all'. Firstly many people can't access certain exchanges because of regulation etc. Secondly everyone has a different trading style with different trading objectives. Personally I like Binance because of the quality of the exchange, the low fees and the large liquidity. But on Idex for example you'll find less volume but there are a broader range of tokens and a lot more lesser known tokens, here you'll probably be able to find a bigger spread than Binance.

If you want to start short term trading. Then you have to choose a high volume and secure exchange. Because of high trading volume you can buy and sell very quickly. That's why you have more chance of getting profits. So I advise you to trade in these two exchange Binance and Bittrex.

The exchange that you mentioned does have a very good reputation and I don't hesitate to trade on the exchange. For a trader that exchange is very important because this is what will determine whether they can trade comfortably or not. After trading it must be consider to immediately transfer it on your own secure wallet. Wallet should be known to be open source so you could see transparency and full control of your funds. According to me, Binance is the number one exchange for day trading or short term trading. Cause volume of this exchange is very much on daily basis. Also there have lot of protensial coins for trade. Also for me Cryptopia exchange best for risk taker.

Which exchange has the less fees are really good for the short and day tradr because when we invest on coins and want to sell at small intervals we need to pay the fee for easch trades so if the fee is more then our profits will be minimzed so pick the exchange with low fee that is the reason most people using binance where the fee is low when compared to other exchanges.

I will choose Binance since it has the highest volume within 24 hours. More volume equals more movement to the coins so you can do short term trading there.

Some exchanges like Kucoin, OKEX, Bittrex and Poloniex are good exchanges too but they have lower 24 hour volume compare to Binance.

I always prefer BitMex, Bitfinex, and HitBTC in terms of trading coins, and for the latest ones I normally trade on Bibox and forkdelta.

Actually, when it comes to day trading, I will likely prefer a leverage market and in this case, you can always take advantage of both the long and short of the market.

However, margin trading is something that should be cautiously done, considering the fact that you can easily get burned if you do not even have any clue how to trade, have no strategy at all, and you take trading as a gamble. There is no exchange specifically used for daily trading. What we have to choose is an exchange that has high quality and level of trust. Because when we do daily trading, the number of transactions that we do will also increase. Avoid using an exchange that has a bad reputation, don't let us lose the assets we have !!

I move my assets from bittrex to binance, I look for a larger trading volume for my trade. I think the best binance exchange is for daily trading. but at the moment stopping to trade the situation is still difficult.

Technically the higher volume traded on a particular exchange can determine you odd of finding your buyer\seller quotas met more frequently.
I myself go to smaller exchanges when ico's that just finished up usually pop up open to trade on the smaller ones before hitting the big one
