2019 knocking the door. I have to prepare my investment plan for 2019.
I want to invest in some altcoin. First choice is Ethereum then Eos, Neo,
Ethereum classic (ETC). I think these coins have good potential for investment. Any kind of suggestions?

In the world of Crypto, there are a lot of promising coins to invest on in 2019. We have Pundi X, Open token, Locktrip. These coins has a lot of potentials and could change one Crypto career. The best thing for an intelligent investor is do his research and know which will be good buy and hold for long term. For me, I will go with Locktrip.

Making a profit in 2019 is the dream of all investors and it is difficult to agree with this. There are more than 2000 tokens for investing on the CMC today, but basically all of them are just trash.
Of the areas that should be considered for profit is the Blockchain and Blockchain Service. There are a lot of crypto-currency exchanges, games, Finance, but such projects do not bring a good profit, since they are not applicable in the field of crypto-currency.
Think about it, study blockchain projects. There are projects whose capitalization today is only 10-20 million dollars and the growth potential at least to capitalization of 1 billion is already 100x.
FANTOM, QuarkChain, PCHAIN, NKN, Open Platform - that's what I'm considering for profit. Study the projects and maybe you will be interested in them!

i don't see anything changing in 2019 compared to previous years so my investment plan is still the same as it has always been. buying bitcoin only as an "investment" and only using altcoins as short term trading tools to make more profit on the bitcoins that i bought.
as for ETH i have it under observation to see if they are going to pump it or not because of the fork and the hype that it is is receiving these days but i won't busy myself with it because that would mean losing opportunity to make huge profits elsewhere as other coins are getting pumped left and right.

I am very optimistic that 2019 would be a good year and we could see much more activity on the market.
This could also mean price drops and ups.
Bitcoinwould of course be nice to hodl when we do have a bull run
Ripple has been all over the place this year. And has already given lots of traders profits.
As a hodler I don't think I would suggest it.
I would also be keeping my eyes out for promised ng ICOs

First we really don't know what 2019 would bring to us so just be cautious as well. Second, it looks like you found a good coins to invest in the first place. Why not start on those coins if you really wanted to start the year and then just adjust your strategy as you fit. Again, 2019 might be a good bull run but its better to prepare for the worst as well. Best of luck to you.

Check Decred. I believe on-chain governance will have its own comfortable position in the "cryptocurrency world", which what Decred is solving by having the holders of DCR vote on proposals on what path to bring the project forward.

There are so many altcoins that have good potential but are always equal to the risks they will face, but if you don't want to take big risks, then my advice is simply to choose some altcoins that have a large volume and trust.

We cannot really predict which coins are going to the moon in the next year but if bull run will happen in 2019 just select coins/tokens in top 50 in coinmarketcap and youre good to go those are the coins that have really high volume and good one to buy for now because this coins has many adopters. 

I'm hanging with etheruem for 2019 . It is of large community and has got to a tremendous ATH, so I'm looking at a repeat of such gain from this bear since 3/5 months ago.

I totally disagree with this selection. There are many good projects which will boom in 2019. One of my favorite is ADA (Cardano). ADA will soon gain much more attention. XMR and litecoin also have a bright future ahead. EoS looked promising at the beginning of this year but i do not seen much growth in it in the last quarter of 2018.

Top 10 always will have a huge effect during market prices are increasing. Also you can count them as promised tokens so it can be good to find out something else other than top 10. May be NEM , Pundix and DGB can be have some hype movements during 2019

Want to recommend EOS though because it is so cheap now and has a chance to outrun Ethereum in the future I just know it.

T checking the market from last year one thing is clear and that is the uncertainty in the market and for the coming year in 2019 many coins will grow more than normal growth and it is clear that if you work here you can make money and online investment is now very easy and Ethereum and bitcoin is the good coins and here in the present time we can buy bitcoin and if we just give some time we can trade this at high price or we can further invest into other crypto and it can be used for buying online products and services.

There is still no guarantee that the market will turn green next year. Up to now, there is no signs of bullish investing coming in. Majority of the investors are on the waiting. However, if you're looking for potential coins, not necessarily next year, I stil recommend TRON. This is a very ambitious platform, but at least you can see that the goals are being accomplished.

Don't forget to buy and hold XLM,  XRP and ADA because all of these coin has strong fundamental and the price has potential to going up to multiple times. And  there are some gems coin that has high potential in next year like ECA and TokenPay.

You already have plan for 2019? that brilliant. I still stuck with 2018 and I can't do nothing to come out, hold become the main method. I chose to ignore 2019 and try to built web and you tube channel as alternative income. I can't suggest you nothing but for me Eth is the right option because many people still use it as alternative send - received payment and income from trade/ invest activity.

I would suggest investing in EOS. I have a strong feeling for this alt to boom next year. Although this year has been so rough for the cryptocurrency, but I have big hopes for next year.

I think you already know a good altcoin to invest, I also don't know how much money you have prepared to spend on investment, because I think the coin you mentioned will be the main one in your investment. I am personally not sure of the new altcoins, because so far I've always failed to spend money on new altcoins, so I just decided to invest in old altcoins that not so many people talk about but they have good potential in the future even though the movements aren't as prominent as another.

I have plans to invest in the new Stellar. Heard that Blockchain is even sharing out $125,000,000 to some users and I believe that will make a lot of people to gain interest in this new coin. The price is also cheap and this means you can invest now and HODL it for long till the price grows, cause it has the potential to grow.

I will just watch the exchange coins closely. My instinct tells me we are going to have some run on the side of these coins. Binance is one example, also I have seen some  going on ico lately. Next year will be a great one for cryptocurrency markets because this year has not been a good ride unlike last season.

For me ETH is having a rough time due to countries restrictions of ICO so smart contracts wouldn't be in much use unlike before where ICO where booming. But it might change once the hardfork is finished and making the mining more difficult cause the inflation rate may decrease dont know if this is good or not but well see. But im turning my sights right now to LTC and XRP cause they might have potential to grow.

That’s true, nothing is going to change, the top coins we have now will still remain the top coins in 2019. Bitcoin is always a good coin to buy and I believe that next year or so there will be a huge increase on the price of Bitcoin: Bitcoin is even likely to triple by next year and I’m very sure of that.

Next coin that is worth investing is Ethereum, despite the price is down now, it will also increase later. Another one is Ripple, I wouldn’t have miss out on that one too cause it will surely grow. The way Ripple is moving, it is likely to overtake ETH.

There is no certification that the market will turn up in 2019 from now. There are no indications of market price increases.  But as a trader, everyone needs to find out some potential currency for trade and investment. I suggest investing in EOS, ETH, WAVES, and Ripple.

we don't know what will happen in 2019, but I suggest holding back the assets you have until everything is stable. we know that currently the price of bitcoin is declining, and it's better to wait until everything is normal.

A couple of months ago I would give the answer to this question. I was sure that time that TRON and Cardano could be the best gainers. Now I suppose, we will have some other altcoins-leaders soon.

Ripple and Waves can go up in 2019. The projects have been developing very fast. Although I do not think that XRP is a real cryptocurrency as it is centralized, it might gain a lot soon.

I would like to suggest about Etherium and Eos. Cause this two coin have lot of popularity and protensial to growth in 2019. I personally purchased some big amount of Eth and Eos for 2019.

Your choice for today is excellent, but if you take into account the fact that all tokens from their highs sank by more than 95%, then this portfolio can be expanded by any altcoin and you will not be mistaken. If in 2019 there will really be a growth of this market, then you can easily make *10-20 on these tokens.

In my opinion, every coin in the market has the potential to grow as expected by most of its users especially for the top 15-20 market-cap coins. But in the past one month the crypto price line displayed seems very low, and this real makes us a little difficult to predict price movements in the coming year. I don't think any altcoin stands tall above any now. They all are taking serious beating and this is seriously affecting the market psychology. I believe people are just trying to FOMO here by listing names. There is really no holy grail. Just go with your innate feelings in any altcoin. That's my take.

I think is too far to see crypto investment 2019, this down trend make me lost trust crypto will survive until 2020. Every day many people leave with their lost and new ICO project only become garbage, success but never listing. For me leave crypto now and come back again next year is better.

I'm personally buying BTC, ETH and TRX. Really isn't a bad time to buy into any crypto you believe in right now with prices as low as they are already; I'm also staggering my buy orders so I don't accumulate all my coins at one time in case the price drops on a coin sharply. Catching a falling knife can be extremely risky but also profitable.

Remember to never invest more than you can afford to lose, and be ready for anything. We could very well be in for a year or two of stagnant prices and a bear market, but we could also see prices spike right back up for all cryptocurrencies to the levels of late 2017.

I think that the year 2019 will bring with it a bunch of blockchain solutions that will try to clear the hurdle of scalability. Ripple, Ethereum, EOS, TRON etc that already exist have something to work with as they are already out on the market. The concept of sharding and the incorporation of BFT into blockchains to overcome current problems is also progressing at a steady pace(zilla for example). Keeping these in mind, it is safe to assume that the companies that show promise to solve the scalability problem at a consistent rate whilst being flexible to customer demands are the one that will do best. IMO these include the ones mentioned above but even amongst them, Ethereum is probably your best bet but, I would not invest yet, not until the Constantinople fork happens and see what that brings. Other than that, keep an eye out for new ICO`s with unique consensus algorithms, as you never know when one might pop-up and what they new concepts it may bring.  ;)

it looks like the major altcoin still has potential huh? but in my opinion for now you have to be more strict in choosing the altcoin to invest, EOS, ETH, and XRP in my opinion is more than enough and for Cardano it might be better off if it is profitable, the short term in Cardano is still good but does not guarantee long term

With the current market that we are experiencing right now, I will still put my money of the first 5 in CMC list. While it is true that no one can precisely predict which coin will make it big in 2019, its still open for everyone, but at least the first 5 in the list have the edge to remain on top of the food chain compared to the others who needs a lot of work to do to even to make it to the top 10.

It will be best for you to invest your money in the top coins, cause the new coins in the market will always disappoint you at last. I don’t know about ETH, but it’s not moving the way I expect it to, but you can still invest in it, cause this has happened once when the price of ETH dropped very low and a lot of people thought it was over but at last it picked up. I have the same thoughts as you, some of the coins that you mentioned have very good potential for a long time. But I did not choose Etherum Classic.

I don't see any coin worthy to invest in or hold except for XRP as this coin is mostly green on coinmarketcap while all other coins are marked red. Stellar is the next as the coin is still cheap and has a potential to grow unlike BTC and ETH.

If you know the exact potential coin you can share this place. So you don't know anything about the future prediction, we just wait and see the best platform.

Ethereum classic? I heard that but I am not sure that could be a fork or a scam project. Well, I do not easily attract in fork since original project is my prioritize. I want ethereum and eos because they have been speculated by investors and media. Neo is good also but I do not want to use NEO wallet since it is hassle for me. Ethereum wallet is the best digital wallet in cryptocurrency.

Indeed, we can't really have a 100% assurance for those coins to aim a good target, but thinking for the promising one I guess that's too hard. Its always an unpredicatable situation to happen at anytime, and everything is a crucial risk as we're facing despite of how the market behaves badly.

You can not be sure of this and you have not been able to provide any evidence of an increase in ETH. I think the value of ETH will decrease and it may take up to several years to see the new price increase because the market is so chaotic and any investment will make you lose money quickly.

Yes, there are lots of coins available. After bitcoins, aano has been my personal favorite for a long time.

I have invested back when it was 18 and than at 12 and than at 7 and right now its 1 dollars or so, which creates the illusion that I want it to go up because I am on average at 11 dollars or so purchasing right now but I can tell you that is just part of it. I am not gonna lie and tell you Nano is great and it has nothing to do with me holding a 1 dollar coin at 11 dollars but it is not the biggest reason.

Biggest reason is during all of this bear market and the price dropping so significantly Reddit kept up with it and always shared information about it. Which tells me people at Reddit still loves Nano no matter what the price is. They loved it when it was Raiblocks and they love it now. So, I am hopeful that it will go higher because it still has support from people on Reddit and don't know if it will be enough but I sure hope so.

I think every coins have the same change to become winner, as long they still in number 1 - 5 from the best coins with high supply and demand. You already chose the right coin but how about your money management, is't good or just one shoot?. Think and analyze twice because market is not friendly right now.

If you are looking for great currency for 2019 then the top currencies are going well next year since the price dump really hits them hard and expected price for them next year would be 10X. Personally I don't like XRP which is centralized so investing on it really very risky so you need to consider the project and team behind it before investing on any cryptos,just investing on the purpose of making money will make you in danger only like how people suffering who though crypto is a way to become rich in later 2017.

Given all the big partnerships that XRP has entered into, I believe that XRP is going to absolutely explode in 2019.

As a best altcoin first I suggest EOS now. Eos is best choice for everyone. If you don't like to risk only one, then you can buy also ETC, XRP, ADA, TRX and NEO also. Hope you will get good something from those.

Yes, Locktrip has very great potential. I have invested in the coin and I am going to invest more. I have been monitoring the coin and it has been doing well.

As we see bitcoin's price is very low, if it rise then altcoins will follow too. I would say bitcoin is great option to invest, especially now when price is low and there is a potential of rise (there are a lot of reasons which will take a lot of time to post). In altcoins, I think ripple has good potential, it beat ethereum and keeps stable 2nd position. My another favourite is monero, I believe in this coin as I believe in bitcoin.

According history bull market in 2017, mostly all crypto has been going up in bullish trend with different gainer. In that year the biggest gainer of altcoin is XLM, ECA, XVG, NANO. And for next bull market, i think anothers coin like XRP , WAVES, NEO and TRX will be become one of the altcoin with biggest gainer.

Ripple (XRP) is proven to be a crypto currency favored by many people and has even been accepted in several countries around the world, but I believe more in ethereum or EOS, I think their platform is more convincing compared to future Ripples.

New crypto currency projects are really need to be avoided from investing now since the long bearish market even will let the best project to fall down.

I hope you did not buy the foregoing coins in November as you will be regretting at this moment.  Ethereum, EOS and litecoin are some of the coins one can actually invest in and make money in future but currently there are not doing well.  Those that has long term view can buy them now and holds.

Other did you mentioned is good to invest and other is not because they are not potential anymore for me. But you can find your own potential coin if you do some search and you see the potential of this so better to do search now and you will be able to get a lot of profit.

Bitcoin is the safest from them all, with that I can agree, but most promising one is the coin you can buy under one dollar and to see that coin over 10 dollars, that's a promising investment in crypto, this 10 dollars can be easily over 100 dollars. I were here when Ethereum was under a dollars, litecoin too, so we will see which coin this year will make incredible rise from almost zero to 10 or more dollars.
My picks are digibyte, tron is very sound coin last couple months, stellar, and many others. I always say when you invest money invest some in something safe, and with some smaller part take a risk and maybe you will hit some jackpot.

What I would say that is if your are a holder then you need to look at long term no 2- 3 months it should be years. And you are looking at short term coins then you need to do technical analysis and catch short term pumps and dumps. If we expect results when we are holding for short term then there is no meaning at all.

BTC,XRP, ETH, EOS, LTC are my trusted coins for long term holding. 

The bitcoin should be left out of the list,as it's always number one when it comes to the coin to invest in as its apparently the safest.

ETH,  bitcoin cash,  XRP and EOS are the most advisable altcoins that you should buy. These altcoins have strong support from the cryptocurrencies community. I keep investing with these altcoins due to its profitability.

In bull market mostly all crypto will going up but some of them will offer the biggest gainer, and if we want to make it we have to choose coins that has low capilalization with strong fundamental and they have live product. Yes, the above-mentioned coins will help us to hold them in the long term because these coins will give good returns in long term. In 2019, I think that this market will continue to be sluggish but the bear market will be gradually abandoned. Although I think that there will not be a serious increase especially in the last bull period, I think there will be some fluctuations in the bull period. I would still stick to bitcoin and eth. As for me, it is still an advantage to invest in well-established coins rather than the new ones because we could have an assurance that it could last longer and couls provide us a better profit in the future.

You might be right according to your own concept. What I believe is that the top coins in the list including Bitcoin and ETH are the most promising coins for making money in the current year and onward. Regardless of the fact that the market is way too down as compared to last year’s high values, investment opportunities are still there, profitable in long run and are visible to the sharp guys.

I was thinking like you till sometimes back. But, after recognizing that ethereum got heavy competitions in the name of EOS and TRON and waves that I started to change my view. Moreover ethereum is having unlimited supply. So, it may not be profitable in long term perspective.

I will make invest only in crypto that has live product and has partnership with big company, i been put my portfolio for XRP 60% , and for others coin like TRX, XLM, WAVES, BNB each 10% . All of this has more potential to raise with bigger gainer in bull market.

If you want to invest in Altcoin then choose coins that have a good reputation. You can choose coins that are in the top rank, it can avoid you from failure.
Some coins such as EThereum, NEO, and Ripple are among the coins whose development is on a positive track.

The best cryptocurrency to invest in 2019 is of course all the coins which are in the list of the top coins but if you look at those which can let you make more money, they could be Bitcoin, for its fame and its widespread applications-and maybe ETH or ripple for they have been pretty much wanted and this is the reason they are in a sought of contest of position number two in the market. Not really an answer to your question, but imho, it doesn't matter so much *what* you buy.
It matters more *when* you buy , and sell.
Any good/bad project can make you profit or loss.
Besides, good and bad projects are very subjective topics.

Ethereum, eos and neo is good choices for this year. But even not this year 2019 it is still good to invest the coin that you mentioned.
You can add some wavws, ripple and don't forget litecoin who are possible to become the next ethereum.
Those promising coin will become better the value because for sure it will rise the price very high once the market recover.

In my opinion the crypto that has potential to offer big profit in next bull market  is XRP, ADA,  NEO,  DASH,  ETH,  XLM,  WAVES, LTC.  These all crypto has possibility  to raise to the top price and if so we can make profit more than 10x,  even up to 20x. Many expert said we are already in the bottom,  so hold some of them for 1 or 2 years is very possible to earn huge profit.

All the three altcoins that you have mentioned have no doubt very good potential, but I think that still their price is trading high as compare to other altcoin which have good potential but still they are trading low. I think that for new investors its good to choose such coins whose price are comparatively low but still they have good potential and there good chances that their price will increase once the market get a positive trend.

I think ethereum, eos, and neo are promising choices in 2019, because the price development of the three altcoins increases every time.

No doubt both of them are good coin but as it depends on your knowledge and your skills, that which coin suits you if you are well aware of all things related to ETH you can invest but if you are asking for my suggestion then I would only suggest my friends to invest in bitcoin because it has good potential and investors are high in number as compare to other coin.

Seeing its roadmap you will see it will soon start its Proof of stake in first half of this year and smart contracts will also be started on its chain making it a very valuable coin of the future. Majority of them are useless and I will trade them out for more bitcoin. Well, the expectations of the people seem to be in reality.

For me one of the promising coins which I think is good to buy and hold are Ada, Energi, Pundix, ethereum and most of all Bitcoin of course.
However, there is also good altcoins even it is new or just recently listed in the market which Xbx were it can be trade on Idax, and potential coins despite its project was running their campaign so far and that is Xct, CMA and Bcnex.

Reality is really disappointing because we are on the end of 2019 and only Ethereum has it's own rally while eos only has managed to almost  double it's value from $4 while Neo had nothing really special that happened.
