We know that younger people these days are used to everything being faster and more efficient, because they have been exposed to technological innovation from their birth.

The younger people entered this world at a much faster pace than the older generation and they are being bombarded with choices like no generation before them. They are also used to instant gratification, because technology has enabled a world where things happens almost instantaneously.

Bitcoin is just another technology where things are done more efficiently and much faster than the traditional options available and the younger generation are drawn to these technologies, like a moth to a flame.

Bitcoin should be applied to all services where there are a need for more speed and efficiency, to draw in the younger generation that are constantly searching for that.

Do you agree? Let's discuss this and see if we can target the correct demographic with this technology.  8)

Of course they will do that, but for some old folks they would much prefer the old way and we are not going to deal with that youngsters. So we should try to make them understand all about crypto and blockchain tech.

Its a good point that the younger generation will adopt bitcoin more but we
cannot discount how many "older people" will and have adopted bitcoin.
People who have been working a day job for 20 or 30 years and feel they are

I agree about the younger generation being used to and expectant of more. However I would have to disagree about bitcoin currently being faster and more efficient, at least in all scenarios. For many situations traditional banking systems are still more efficient, until bitcoin is widely accepted and used it won't surpass that.

This is an inevitable phenomenon. Young people in today’s world do not have many opportunities. Class solidification has formed in at least many countries. Only cryptocurrencies can get rid of this type of solidification. There are very few other ways. So young people tend to choose cryptocurrencies. Most older generations have a hard time understanding such products.

I agree that many young people understand the functions and benefits of technology where their daily lives are filled with technological utilities, if bitcoin and altcoin are able to answer all the needs of this young generation, the development of crypto will progress rapidly

I think it is yes, young people will drive Bitcoin adoption more than the elder generation. Maybe it has something to do when it comes to technology,it is the younger ones that has more patience on surfing or searching on the internet.

Bitcoin forced legacy institutions to look into the blockchain as a whole to get the efficiency and lower operational costs they badly need, but that doesn't necessarily mean we'll see them dig into Bitcoin as well.

If people are lucky, and their banks allow them to enjoy the advantages of a blockchain, they'll settle with that. The average person doesn't care about how things happen as long as they happen and offer the convenience they want.

Bitcoin needs it rise out of its speculative phase to be used as it should be used, and I think it will still take like a couple of years at minimum, especially when LN isn't ready yet to be safely used by the masses.

I agree. It is like adopting to what they already have or what they see in the present. It is hard to adopt into something that you did not see when you are growimg up, that is one of the reason why the old generation do not want it. Amd on psychology, it is much better to do the norms, and technology is part of the norms of today's generation.

Depending on when the mass adoption will happen right now their are only a small percentage of the last generation believes in crypto, and most of the people that believes in it came from the generation where technology is evolving rapidly that is why it is easier to adapt and of course if we are seen by the generation next us what we are doing in crypto then they are they one who will adapt it when the time comes.

Younger generations or what we called the millennial can adopt rapidly to advancing technologies and consumerism is what all about. Younger generations has more purchasing power than the older generations and purchasing or using new technologies are part of their lives. Bitcoin and blockchain technology sounds strange to older generation but half of the world's younger generations know about it. With the widespread of social media and interconnecting the world make them aware of all the latest trends of the technologies. Adoption of bitcoin all leads to the road for the younger generations.

Well, it's pretty obvious that young people are the ones who pick up new things most quickly, while old people tend to be very conservative. As people age, they tend to get scared of learning for some reason - maybe they just think that they already know everything and also there are biological factors.
Using Bitcoin is actually quite hard, I'd say more than 90% of the population will make mistakes if they'll try - they'll leave coins on exchange, download a fake malicious wallet, install their wallet on infected system and so on. Even young people would suffer from those problems, because kids being able to install apps on their phones doesn't mean that they understand security, cryptography and other important stuff.

You are correct most of the young generation now are very aggresive in crypto business because they are already been exposed to the new technology and always get updated and adopting what is the latest. I have kids and I have taught them about cryptocurrency and you know what I have not felt hard to teach them because they are fast learner and can understand and are now effectively doing the things that I want them to do. They have done their own research and they got the right thing.

You touched on something that I left out, because older people have preconceived ideas on things that they have learned from previous experience, they will be hesitant to learn new things. <To them, the old ways are the right ways>


Younger people are like sponges for information, because they are open to new ideas. Older people tend to block new ideas, because they think they have seen and experienced it all before. My kids are also teaching me new things every day and I rate myself as being one of the more experienced "older" people.  ::)

Their is no doubt about it that coming generation will be more adaptable to the technology and its uses and crypto currency being the digital will be more used in coming years. Also in coming years many places in small villages where their is no electricity or internet that will also improve so people will make use of this technology as well.

It is fact if you just do survey you will come to know that younger are more involved in crypto and they use it more than old age people and it is true that we can buy things with crypto so that can be done by younger and mostly young investors are in the crypto market they do investment for better future old age people believe in investing in gold and silver.

Is this necessarily true though? I'd say credit cards are at least just as efficient and just as fast. Sure, the underlying technology and procedures aren't as pretty, but those don't matter too much for the end user. While I believe that Bitcoin can be a very tempting alternative, I think it should be sold on the fact that it's decentralized and that it ignores borders.

I do agree that younger generation will drive bitcoin adoption than the older generation since older generation are more reserved and patient.  Older generation have this thing called tied to their generation and they always believe in not fixing anything when it is not broken.  Anyway, I still disagree that bitcoin is way faster in terms of payment.  Just check confirmation time and crediting time between bitcoin and CC or Visa Card.

It also comes down to how willing people are to expose themselves to risks, which means that the younger generation by default is the main group to steer usage and development of new technologies, which Bitcoin is one of. What do we have to lose? If we wipe out our entire savings taking too much risk, we can start over, but that doesn't go up for the older generation, because their money gone means it's likely gone for ever.

One thing I do have to point out is that we shouldn't underestimate the traditional financial system. For the first ever time financial institutions feel the need to change the way they work, all to not let crypto currencies leave them behind which eventually may cause them to lose market share.

I noticed myself how they improved their payment infrastructure, banking applications, etc. Everywhere I go I can pay in an instant, for free, enjoy buyers protection and insurance, and in some cases I'm being rewarded points as well, which I can later exchange for discounts in tens of thousands of online or brick and mortar stores. The competition is tough, very much so.

Correct, the future of bitcoin is very bright with youngster/ youmg generation. Buy something via online shop is become so mainstream now, actually I am still young too and me and my friend always pretend that something which new and related to new technology is very cool because that's what makes we different with old generation. Bitcoin is a cool thing for me.

the 80's and 90's is the 1st one to accept. older generation wont like it. bitcoin and crypto as whole will destroy their old system. younger generation should not be any problem using bitcoin and crypto as well.

That's not surprising ? I mean it is exactly the same with any new technology, how long did it took older generation to come to terms with iphones and using whatsapp and so forth, it was a bit longer than youth. How long did it take for the old generation to come to facebook, it wasn't really that quick but right now all youth is using instagram instead while old people are still attached to their facebooks.

Basically anytime there is a new tech coming up the first line of stop is usually silicon valley and than it gets to the youth of the world and than it goes to older people, that is precisely the route it takes all the time. Without any assumptions because there are still old people who are following trends, this was expected from bitcoin as well, in 5-10 years those old people will be into bitcoin as well just like they were with facebook.

it has always been like this when it comes to newer technologies. even something as simple as smart phones is being adopted by younger generation compared to the older ones. i believe this is partly because of their interest in newer technologies but it is mostly because the older generations are already used to their own ways and are defiant of any kind of change so they always resist adopting new technologies.

Absolutely true, it always has been, because the younger generation is usually open to everything new and it is easier for them to adopt new technologies. Of course, a blockchain is able to increase the quality, safety and speed of economic development, but it is quite natural that it takes some time to convince the adult generation of the benefits of blockchain technology.

Agreed, the next generation is socialized on the internet and gadgets. There are some older people who are curious and willing enough to keep up with new technologies, but it will definitely help that while I was playing with toys or maybe floppy games in my childhood, they spend their lives on tablets consoles.

The young ones will, just look at Vitalik Buterin creating ETH and making it possible to launch cool dapps on top of the coin. We also have a lot of young millionaires right now even though the competition is tight, thanks to technology. The older gen would likely dislike the concept of a digital currency but then again, it will be inevitablw, knowing that the millenials are always looking for ways to be more efficient and more convenient to them.

It is not up to young people to drive btc adoption, it is only for the right chossen people we all know that btc invented by satoshi and other brilliant ppl and only through interest that could lead them to adopt btc whereas  old ppl always using the quote it could cost me an arms to buy btc although you can acquire btc for free back then unlikely for now that it could  cost you an arms and leg.

In my country younger generation are accepting the new technology and innovation of crypto as well as other resources. But older peoples are exploring the nature so they are all not ready accept these things.
Nowadays signals strength are affect the many birds so nature will be died in future. So we decide to improve some technology in green revolution then only all are accepting the upcoming technology.

Any invention that the current generation is not ready to drive will wizzle away and there won't be any redemption. Blockchain would be driven majorly by the millenials (those born from 1984) and only few who can fall in line with the current waves from the older generations. The reason is simple. Absolutely YES!, younger people will drive Bitcoin adoption more than the older generation because of quick adaptability to new technology from the young people than the older generation. Currently according to statistic the younger generation take upto 60% of the total numbers of Bitcoin adoptance.

I think this is quite natural. Younger generations are always generator of changes and they are accepting new technologies much easier and with less prejudice, they are leaders of changes.
But don't forget that there are some older people who are willing to embrace new technologies and cryptocurrencies too so don't exclude them entirely. Bitcoin is made for everyone and should be available to everyone, no matter the gender or age.

For mass adoption to follow, both generations should be able to accept Bitcoin as a more convenient way to do financial transactions and not just an asset which could make their money grow or fall into the abyss faster than the traditional assets. Somehow you are right. The younger generation are more impulsive, fearless, careless and more curious about new things. Most of them do not think much about risks as long as they follow their curiosity and maybe this curiosity will open a door to a more advance technology that will cause mass bitcoin adoption as you’ve said.

Bold decisions are not inherent in youth only. The fact is, the older generation are not much inclined to the contemporary technology trend as most of them are stuck to the old ways of investment (gold and bank investment).

That's really true. Youth of this generation are not always afraid to try things. You can see inventions like hoverboard getting patronized by a lot of millenials unlike old people. I agree with you. The younger audience is more likely to understand how Bitcoin works and how revolutionary it is. Now that the technology is a part of our necessity, it makes sense that the newer generation would be able to adopt Bitcoin much faster.

Bitcoin will gradually be used in all areas in which Bitcoin should be applied. Perhaps this process would move faster if the adult generation were more open to adopting new technologies. Only thanks to the younger generation and enthusiasm, Bitcoin has become what it is now.

Young people are already investing but we need to include old people as well :

1) The old people have lot of savings and thus if they start investing in crypto in huge numbers, we can see growth in crypto prices.

2) Old people adopting crypto means that we can even expect a situation where crypto completely replaces cash.

As much as the older ones have been in existence before the youths and have an established pattern, the youths can help bridge the gap of connecting the older ones with the latest technology which I believe has remarkable results to show it on how things can be done better and faster too.

Actually, old people are those who can easily convey to invest in cryptocurrency. Young people like me will prefer to get job first because I can earn money with it. Unlike old people who don't have anymore strength to continue working for several years and thinking about their future will give importance the investment in cryptocurrency.

I'm saying this cause I have invited and told acouple of my friends about bitcoin but the seems not to understand or lack the knowledge about the potentials of bitcoin. Mind you, alot of older generation invest their pension money into bitcoin in Japan.

Bitcoin is taking its time to adoption with slow pacing for the past two years. Developments somehow encountered obstacles such as concerns in government recognition, hacking incidences, and very long downtrend market. Yes they will adopt to the bitcoin only if we educate them what is bitcoin or else they will keep spreading news that bitcoin is used by hackers.Because even many of my friends said that bitcoin is illegal and it was only used by hackers even when our country completely allows bitcoin usage in our country.

many people did not have enough knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency but they easily said it is illegal and used by criminal.so as cryptocommuity we need to educate them about it.

The older generation have experience and are not ready for much exploit. The older generation have much responsibility and are not also ready to risk their money.

Its is due to their environment. They grew up in an era where everything can be done in the touch if your finger. They tend to be more active in social media were might influnce them to try what was advertised from it. Also the innovation happening will drive millenials to be more vigilant on it. But also the older people want to be have their own contribution in this era, they are also an influencer for the younger ones. As parents, they have the capacity to gain knowledge and share it to their childdren.

I don't necessarily think that it's because the older generation is not technology literate, even though the vast majority of them have less IT skills compared to the young generations, but rather the fact that they are not able to grasp the idea of decentralisation.

That's why we see so many older generations blindly trust in fiat currency and call bitcoin a scam. If you don't understand the very concept that bitcoin is based upon and how exactly bitcoin is structured to work, you're obviously not going to trust it, and if you don't trust it, you're not going to adopt it.

This is the status quo of the world, yes. The stock market and the real estate market have lost their original luster, and the wealth that millennials have earned through hard work is scarce. Capitalists have achieved a monopoly. When cryptocurrency emerged, it changed all of this, and the new mutual understanding network would once again change human civilization.

This is the way to survive. It is necessary to know that millennials do not have good investment opportunities. They usually sell their own time to make profits. Most of the wealth is in the hands of the older people. So cryptocurrency is the future for young people.

I supported what the OP said and aside of the young having the knowledge of how to use the internet. The young people love and enjoy surfing the web which was also the reason why Erick Finan and his brother knew the concept and the features of bitcoin at the early stage.

One reason why I believe that as time goes on and we start seeing more and more improvement in technology, a lot of the older factions will be left out and as they keep paving way based on mortality, the newer generations will be the ones taking the bull by the horn. It is a simple process, they had their time and they have used it, this is the digital jet age, and practically, the idea of assimilating and understanding quickly what is going on around is something easy for the younger generations to absorb pretty fast than the older generation, and that is if the latter will ever absorb at all. So, in a way, I believe when it comes to bitcoin adoption, the younger generation will most definitely take it to the next level.

Most especially when it comes to technology. Let's face the fact, there is so little that the older generation may be able to understand in this day and age, or be able to get their heads wrap around. The world is getting all digital, and for the fact that they have been used to the traditional age all their life, trying to blend in now will always be a difficult thing to do, except for just very few that are really just curious enough to at least want to know some few details about what is going on in their world. There is always that thing with aging and your memory being able to assimilate things quickly compared to when you were young and that is what makes the difference.

Obviously, they already are very conversant with the internet and the rate at which technology is advancing every day, so it is a normal thing to expect them to at least easily grasp what is going on. Easily grasping what is going on around you is always going to be an attribute that will keep deteriorating with age, so one way or the other, I guess it is something very normal. Now that money is going digital, the younger generations are the ones who will be more exposed to it based on the fact that at their little age, they are already exposed to the internet and some of the little things needed to always keep them going.

I thought about this thread when I watched a 5 year old playing with her mothers smart phone, whilst I was in a waiting room at a doctors office. The mother passed the mobile phone to the child to keep her busy and she unlocked the phone and started playing several complex games.

If I compare this with the problems I have to explain the most basic concepts to my older relatives, then it is easy to see how the younger generation will lead the Crypto currency adoption. They are quick learners and they are fast paced and this is what is needed in Crypto currencies for it to flourish.  ;)

I do, not only are the younger generations more exposed to technological innovation, they are also more accepting to it than the older generations. In addition, the younger generation seeks faster transactions in everything so I believe that if they are introduced to virtual currency and its benefits then they will be on board with it.

Before we even think about Bitcoin being applied on all kinds of services we must think of first on how we will educate the young generation on how cryptocurrency in general works in the world. Because as what I see so far we only have select optional classes for cryptocurrencies and blockchain and the only ones who will learn are the ones who will enroll to the class, if we want to have a smoother adaptation to Bitcoin as a currency we must know that our generation is capable of doing that in the future.

The younger generation is the one that can save Bitcoin. They have enough knowledge, skills and technological access to develop more services and improvements related to Bitcoin. Once they do it, many people, especially from the older generations will adopt Bitcoin too, not because the currency itself, but because the services there will be disponible through the use of BTC. Information technology put young people on the affair of life and leadership.  Cryptocurrencies is been promoted by the young people because of the kind of the generation we are. Our fathers are used to the old ways of doing things but the youths are more concerned on blockchain technology and how to used it to solve human problem.

The one time most young people get enough free money to play with these days is when their parents cark it and leave it to them. More than likely they'll rush straight into property as it'll be the only chance they ever get.

Ideally young folks will drive the creation of a fully functioning and increasingly separate crypto economy. That's more sustainable than just parking investment money and doing nothing.

I believe that millenials are more exposed from the world's latest technology from electronics toys and gadgets since they are start learning of their new world unlike people who was born on late 80's that digital technology was not yet started, therefore in this edge cutting technology like blockchain the more people adapted it is from the millenials and driven by the few business minded oldess.

You know why? it is because before is has a big difference  in the present time now. The technology before compare in our present technology has a big innovations. And maybe the younger generations son far mostly are fast learner, while for the adults are few only. Before there is no internet while so far we have it now and was being developed so well too.

For certain. All of my kids are familiar with crypto. My 2-year-old daughter can recognize BTC, ETH, and Monero. My oldest son doesn't understand why everyone doesn't use it now. (He's 21). I was programming since I was 8, but normal people didn't have computers until they were in college. That's how old I am. The young are going to adopt crypto much faster.

Young people always drive the campaigns. Do you really expect from old generation to believe in technology? They assume it as a virtual currency and hence no trust they put on bitcoin.

It doea not happening now because there are greedy rich people who controlled the bitcoin market. They pulled out their investment as it seems that they were probably so lucky in this system earning much compared to the poor one. I can think now that because of the market price down, more and more users had gone their interest away on bitcoin. Hope to see that this is not really the end for bitcoin.

Obviously, the younger generation is more inclined to technology and than the older generation. The old system was more connected to tactile concepts in which people invested in gold and real estates as they could see and touch them. The contemporary technology harnesses abstraction and bring meaning to it and this is what the Blockchain does. Well i think yhe younger generation if entrepreneurs will be more open and acceptin of new systems and innovations which includes but not restricting to crypto currency and blockchains. But there are always cultural biases that would still prefer the "old ways" so let's not generalize a generation if they'd accept crypto currency or not.

While the drive of Bitcoin adoption may be driven by the younger people which made up most entrepreneurs, when looking at mass adoption, the a significant portion of the user base will be the older generation.

I think the blockchain industry also needs to take note of making user experience familiar and easy for the less tech-savvy. Targeting the right demographic depends on how functional a particular blockchain project is to them. It's true that millenials are the driving force behind most projects and most projects were also designed for them,  still adoption won't be adoption if every age demographic does not find some applicability of blockchain. I recently read about a project - HiNounou,  they're primarily designed for seniors.  They provide opportunities for wellness,  healthy living,  insurance and so many others.  I think they are one project pushing blockchain towards an age demographic that has more or less been abandoned by recent developers.

It took years of nagging before my mum could change from her old Java keypad phone to smartphone. Older people love their traditional way of life because that's what they used during their golden age. There is no doubt that youngsters hold the key to driving the current blockchain technology higher. Older generation might not drive this market much but we are here to guide the new generation so they will know the real meaning of bitcoin. A lot of new comers but still most of them are here to make easy money which should not be the reason to come here, older generation still playing the best role in this market. Remember that billionaires are already in the middle of 40s - 60s, they can still influence the market.

Older people have to change their attitude if they want to survive in the upcoming times. Many professions will be abandoned because the machines equipped with the new technologies will be doing the job much better than humans ever could. This is the case of not only manual labor sector, but also of some white-collar professions related to analytics, teaching and bureaucratic administration, to name a few. At the same time new jobs will be created, but to do them one would need understanding of new technologies. It's not that it's bad to be an older person though. Older people have more knowledge and more experience, and with some effort they can do even better than the the young ones in the field of familiarization with the new technologies, they just shouldn't be lazy to do that.

Old people don't like changes. Put yourself in their place. They didn't have to use a computer for half of their lives and then all some of them used it for was sending emails and checking weather forecasts and news. However, it's not all about that, it needs willingness and be visionary to just be able to drive Bitcoin adoption. Just a small correction. Young people or old people will not drive adoption of Bitcoin what other cryptocurrencies. Adoption rate has nothing to do with speculation rate. We all keep hearing and keep learning that the technology is not yet ready for real world use cases. Transaction speed and transaction per second and privacy of transactions and the transaction fees and so many more challenges are yet to be solved. When the challenges are solved adoption will automatically increase and that will be the real adoption of Bitcoin and other crypto projects. Till then it is all speculation and young people will drive the speculation rate more than the old people because of their over-optimism. I agree with the opinion that young people are faster and efficient in exploring technology these days, it would be very beneficial for them if only they seriously in crypto world. But, I think bitcoin isn't that fast and efficient as you said. If only the younger generation and bitcoin collaborate effectively, I'm sure bitcoin will be soon be accepted in the world.

It is true that the vast majority of the users are from the 15-29 age group. At the same time, this age group is not very powerful. Actually it is the 30-44 and 45-59 age-groups that hold a lot of power. So we need to target those groups.

At young age they are curious about everything, they  can able to do things through internet like in crypto they can easily adopt it because of easy access on internet.

Technically, this generation that is born in the computer age can probably easily adopt the use of cryptocurrencies compared to those who were born in the precomputer age. That's one of the reasons too why older generations are reluctant to use cryptocurrencies because of its technicalities which is a bit hard for them.

I think, our world is continually changing, along with the generation. Some people choose to be useless, but there are still a lot of hardworking youths out there that are independent of their parents and are always working hard to make money on their own and even help their family. We have different ways how to handle everything about crypto even the new generation is more faster to elders. But elders is much more have idea because they start in crypto in the same year that crypto start. So it's fair to new generation and old but we have different way and idea it comes to crypto.

I think the reason why the percentage of the young people who will adopt bitcoin has a high percentage than the older generation. Actually I have experienced with it,  my younger brother is now interested and now using bitcoin but my parents are still do not have care about it.

That is going to be difficult to accomplish, I really do not see how cryptocurrencies can be made any easier, in my opinion the main difficulty that comes with cryptocurrencies is the full responsibility that comes with them, if you make a mistake when you send your fiat you can always recover that money but that is not the case with cryptocurrencies so you need to take greater precautions when you are dealing with cryptocurrencies.

I believe yes, because they are capable of dealing with the latest changes in our technology and society. They are smart enough to handle and adapt everything about bitcoin since it is the latest trend in the economy. New generation has a bigger advantage.

Many of the young Crypto currency advocates now are seeing Bitcoin as a soirce of income and studying Blockchain as much as the older generation did, It is surprisingly a good view for the young generation to discover and work with Bitcoin adoptation.

I believe that the younger generation is the future of a nation and that is reflected in the spirit of learning, hard work and ambition to move forward. the introduction of the blockchain in the younger generation is rapidly spreading and right on target that causes crypto to grow and advance

The older generation must be feeling that Bitcoin or blockchain is not worth the stress ,so they will look the other way.
But the younger generation would like to take adventures, explore every explorable experience and pursue the issue of blockchain technology to an amazing new height.

This has happened all over the history of the world, when people are young they are always trying to find new ways to do stuff, but when they get old they prefer to try only those things that have been tested for a long time and it is up to the new generation of young people to find new paths that take us to new discoveries and inventions, that is a pattern that has happened before and it will keep happening.

I agree with what you're saying about the younger generation--that's always going to be true, which is why society and the world keep changing.  The younger generation always wants to improve what they see going on around them and they have the passion to do so.

I'm not so sure about what you said about "the older generation".  We don't even know how old Satoshi is for one thing, and for another I'm not sure which age groups you're talking about.  If you mean the geriatric population in their 60s and up, you might be correct--a lot of older folks are set in their ways and see no need for bitcoin or blockchain tech.  If you mean people 40-60 year olds, I would disagree.  If they understand what bitcoin is all about, they have the knowledge and experience to make their own decision about it.

In any case, the younger generation, i.e., individuals in their 20s and younger, they are going to be the ones to move the world forward, or whichever way it goes.  They're far more tech-savvy than older people and will find uses for both bitcoin and for blockchain tech.  I'm hoping they also find a cure for cancer as well, but we'll see.

The blockchain technology is really good for businesses but I think it will not make young people excited about it. It is being exploited by a market banned by many governments around the world. So access is very difficult for young people.

Yes, the young generation is opened for everything new. They were born when the Internet existed already, and they do not take the cryptocurrencies as something very strange. They live in a digital world.

Older people might find some problems unterstanding Bitcoin because it is different from what they know about money. Financially, Bitcoin promises to be profit for long term, so young people can wait for it to deliver the value they expect, but older people will not have patience, they will say what can I do with it after my death.

It is also the amswer that I got through my observation. There are more young generation will adopt bitcoin than older generation. It seems that older generation doesn't have care to the cryptocurrencies.

My believe has always been this too. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are designed to be used by this new generation of young people and the future. The older generation have little or nothing to contribute apart from allowing favourable government policies to support crypto.

The young generation is the bearer of change. This is very much related to developing technology, mainly triggered by the internet that has created many digital business opportunities. Adopting bitcoin is certainly a reasonable solution considering that it is very easy to conduct digital transactions, while the older generation does not master that technology. For the next 5 or 10 years, the digital world will increasingly dominate trade where the role of bitcoin as a payment tool is increasingly being used.

Yeah young generations might only think of something that may give them gains. I mean most of them get into this industry just to make money out of Bitcoin and other crypto without knowing Bitcoins purpose of existence as it was created as a new form of currency for all classes of society. They may not even appreciate the the works of Satoshi but it doesn't matter as long as they are still part of the Bitcoin community. Older ones or the pioneering Bitcoiners has a lot of ideas and memories from the day it was created and from that Bitcoin will remain on their hearts no matter what.

The younger people always curious about something new and they will try to find out more about that. And if they know about bitcoin by heard from the news, I am sure that they will try to read more and more and will keep searching until they can use properly. They will tell other friends about bitcoin and ask them to join with them because the younger people aware of the technology and they have a big passion for accepting the new technology. We can see that in their social media, many of them introduce something new that will influence the other to use it together and I am sure that the younger people will help to introduce bitcoin/cryptocurrency and it will be accepted among them.

The actual reason is that new generation accept the new technology and they want the new technology and they learn from the academies about them so it is not hard for them to adopt while the old generations just hear about it from their younger ones on whom they do not rely much for their knowledge.

For me, as far as the younger generations are more into technology and development, older people tends to be more interested in social medias only. Here in our place, older people are much interested about communications applications like Facebook, Skype, Youtube and etc. and not that interest with much more that the technology can offer. Millennials are also into that but because they grow up with the technology already developing therefore suiting their needs and wants. And just like what others have said, younger generations are more open to new ideas and are likely to be more corrupted with Internet.

The world is big, so of course we can find some young people who are less tech savvy than some older guys, but in most cases the situation is the opposite. It is much easier to explain the advantages of blockchain technology to young people than to elders(60+), and mostly because old people don't want to even start listening. Most people of older age think they already know everything they need for life, and they are extremely hesitant in accepting anything which is new and unknown to them. I think if the average age of the Securities and Exchange Commission were around 30, we would have at least a couple of ETFs approved already.

yes you are right more young people are adopting bitcoin than the older generation. because they have mastered the world of technology. and for the older generation I think they are not too interested in cryptocurrency. if more and more young people contribute with crypto, the cryptocurrency will grow. young people have fresh minds so they can issue new ideas that can be useful for cryptocurrency.

Young generation has more knowledge in the computer and internet world.
Cryptocurrency is based over the internet and young are more eager to try new technology than oldies.
This new generation will make the crypto much better and adapt world wide.
also they are more adventurous who can make new business (even small) but will accept crypto especially BTC.

Not only that, once you are older you cannot take as many risks as when you are young, this is because you do not have as much time left in this world as before so if you make a mistake it is going to be almost impossible to recover from it and so older people are very suspicious about most new ideas and prefer old ideas and methods that are not going to give them great profits but that will not give to them great losses either.

Yes I agree with it because there is fact that young people easily understand the latest technology and adopted these technologies. and Blockchain industry is this initial stage and young generation find their future in it. Young people already born in digital world and they more understand how to use technology. Many old people think bitcoin is a scam or a buble. I think its true that young people will drive bitcoin adoption in the future.

of course the younger generation really likes something new, especially relating to the latest technology, bitcoin is one of the most modern payment technologies, this is a challenge for young people, while parents tend to be monotonous, not something new, so bitcoin will be dominated by the younger generation, which is certainly the future generation.

It is also one of the fact that the older generations have their permanent jobs and businesses and they are busy with them while the younger generations are searching for the new opportunities and in that way to meet with the crypto market so they learn easily and adopt immediately.

Since bitcoin is a new currency hence new generation will be more willing to use it. Older people will still be wanting to use Fiat currency as they are used to it. Also older generation do not want to learn new technologies.

I think no one will argue with you, most young people and new millenial are more internet savvy than the older generation and it will be easier for them to understand th use of BTC as a digital cash, what new geenrtaion need is to contribute positively to the economy and save their money in BTC

Hopefully it would be realized that Bitcoin can be used for faster transactions online. Maybe it would happen but not now. Also it would take much time to educate people about what are the uses of bitcoin.

My siblings became interested to bitcoin after I explain what it is and its function. They say that it is user friendly because they easily understand how they will use it.
When I taught my parents about bitcoin and blockchain technology,  I saw that they can't easily understand it. It is true that many more people in our generation will adopt bitcoin than the older generation.

True, but young people also lack the skills to manage risk properly. So many of them will also get destroyed by bitcoin's volatility
