Hello, I would like to know your opinion about this: What happens to the other cryptocurrencies if the Bitcoin goes to $ 2,000? I mean ICOs, altcoins, low market cap coins.
Now ICOs and low market cap coins have very bad times, but if Bitcoin goes down to $2,000-3,000 what will happen? This will be the end of ICOs?
Because I think that most of investors will sell everything to buy more Bitcoins.

If Bitcoin still reaches the price of 2000$, then of course it will very seriously affect all other tokens, many coins will simply leave the market, since their value will simply become inadequate. I want to believe that this is still a manipulation of the arynka, and not a trend. After all, if the cryptocurrency market is blown away and more interesting to investors, then this can really be the beginning of the end.

Well, maybe this will later be the rapid growth of the entire cryptocurrency market. As it is not strange sounded but almost everything even bitcoin falls.  We've seen the sudden drops on Bitcoin including some of the top 10 ALTCOIN as posted in the market of crypto currency...This one of a major drops in the crypto market, almost everyone is bleeding dry now....But i am confident that market will find its correction after the market glitz, it very difficult to accept that this is happening , when everyone are hoping the other way around. i just take this just as Market Volatility... it will make favorable again for all of us here any time soon. Patient and more Patient....Don't Panic it is not the end of crypto market yet...i am still hopeful that it won't go down to the 2k level....think positive....

At the moment Bitcoin price is still at $5600 but altcoin price in some exchange already looks very sad especially for Fiat to Altcoin pair. I can't imagine what would happen if Bitcoin price touched $2000, maybe all altcoins would be worth 1-300 satoshi. Not only that, i am sure if the market continue to decline this will make most people go crazy or maybe commit to suicide - hoping this bad thing won't happen

bitcoin is never going that low. this current price is already super underpriced and as you can see the price push down has been becoming extremely hard. they dumped thousands of bitcoin on the market in the past 24 hours but the price only dropped a little.

but if that happened then about 70% of the altcoins simply evaporate into nothingness as they die and go to zero. and the rest of them will get dumped so hard that it would take years for them to recover from it since people would abandon them.

it will never happen. already BTC had strong support at $6000 and now its little down. that doesn't mean that BTC is going to hit $2000. as i know dump happened because of BCH and i hope BTC will come back strongly soon.

If bitcoin worth $2000 and the whole of altcoins will be following it. Remember the price of altcoins will go down even lower than this rate. I thought that we have reached the bottom for this year. some experts are putting bitcoin into the bullish trend next year. And that makes sense for me personally.

If Bitcoin drops to $ 2000 it will not stay at this level for a long time. I am sure that as soon as he touches this mark, people will immediately begin to buy it back on a huge scale. so I think it will not affect on the ICO

We can think of things like some altcoins instead to pulling down into prices will make an uptrend in prices which we have seen just this July when there were a altcoin that made a 6000% uptrend in price within a day and then just plummets the price the other day. Right now I think I am seeing the same situation as one of the altcoins are now having a 5000% uptrend in coinmarketcap.

Yes, I think by this time there will be very few projects that can stay afloat. And the number of ICO projects will fall dramatically. But now I can not believe that BTC will drop to $ 2000

I think if Bitcoin should go as low as $2,000 Coins Like Ethereum may go below $20, and Ripple may go as low as 1Cent. Which means we are back at Mid 2017 Price.

If bitcoin go back to the price of 2,000 maybe other coins will follow the price of it and other coins will fall down too for their prices its better to sell early than lose for a big money.

But if BTC will drop to 2000 then every alts on the market will decrease also their USD value.
They are connected with USD and BTC price. there will be a reddish market again.
Still looking for 8,000-10K usd per BTC this year!

It's very hard to imagine that bitcoin will reach $2,000, that's losing almost 90% of its price last December which was almost $20,000. If that happens, almost all of the altcoins will be having a hard time to survive. Altcoins will decline and decline until its value is almost equivalent to none. Bitcoin holders will be holders. They'll wait for the right time for the comeback of bitcoin.

The situation of crypto market at the moment is really terrible but I don't think it'll make BTC price fall to that low price :D. Crypto market has passed so many terrible periods, so many dumps but it's still alive. I don't think this small dump will be able to defeat whole crypto market and make the king fall to even $2000 or $3000.

Everythings will continue to exist, but prices will be lower and there are fewer investors when they don't trust this market anymore. No one would think that BTC could go below 5500$ but it has gone down, and now things are going to get worse. I am waiting to buy some BTC at under 3000$

I think it is impossible. Because too many people actually wait that 5.5k range but whales have to find something to do that and they created that hash power hard fork issue like last year. I believe btc will not go lower than 4k But if it will go lower like 2k dollar that is clear all the altcoins will die . Maybe they can start to their live again in the future but in short term they will die.

If Bitcoin is down to $ 2,000, I think other currencies will be at risk of dying out and the number of available shares will not be much. But Bitcoin will probably not drop much so it will probably be $ 5,000.

Maybe it happened and maybe not. When it reached a price range of $ 2,000 - $ 3,000 and that happened I think investors would buy bitcoin and switched to investing in ICO. That might happen.

If bitcoin price goes to $2000, that's a real bear market, maybe same thing like 2014? If it's really $2000. I think the encryption market is not far from the bull market. Other altcoins because of linkage with BTC, their prices will be reduced to a minimum. Then wait for the market to rebound.

In my opinion when that happens then it is the beginning of crypto suggestions, when people move their assets to bitcoin, then the automatic bitcoin price will experience a very strong pump and the end of 2017 will repeat itself, but hopefully like that, because the crypto cycle is really the way it used to be

Once the price of bitcoin reach $2000 then all the altcoins in crypto market would have reach $0 I.e most altcoins will not have any value whatsoever. If the price of bitcoin teach $2000 then there will be catastrophe in crypto world.

Although i am not worried, but i do not think bitcoin will go as low as that. Several people are already selling their bitcoin, which is true, but very soon, dumpers will soon finish dumping and by then bitcoin and other altcoins will be able to moon again.
So many altcoins are seriously suffering at the moment, but i believe it will nit last for too long. Very soon, everything will come back to normal.

As you know already, the other coins will follow in accordance with the fall of bitcoin that is what people must learn to understand. It is just a simple understanding. If we are selling, we won't sell and go for a new coin or any other crypto that can fall just as bitcoin but rather a stable coin. So maybe the usd coins made will be the top rulers in crypto if bitcoin goes down to that extend but it is very unlikely to happen.

If bitcoin goes down to 2000 or 3000 firstly I see a big reduction in the cryptos listed on the coinmarketcap as a lot of scam, dud, and below standard projects will die off. This mean that it will take a spectacular project to raise their maximum cap in an ICO and also avoid dump in the exchanges.

The most likely is that they collapse too, although there are coins that are not linked to bitcoin, we can say that btc is the measure of confidence in the market and if its price falls that means that many are going with their money elsewhere, which is also bad if we want to continue promoting mass adoption.

Obviously, there will be a big impact on other crypto's as we know that most of them trades on BTC as pair. So their price might reduced or even become worthless specially shitcoins running around. We may see internal cleansing and purge and we may see them die in an instant. And for those who will survived, it's going to be a struggle and investors will either shift their funds to other coins so in a matter of months many coins with no usage at all will also be obliterated.

maybe most of other cryptocurrencies price will drop. yesterday when bitcoin fall 10%, the other altcoins price are drop too.
this proves bitcoin has a big impact for other cryptocurrencies. maybe some of them will become a dead coins because of panic sell.

It seems that price is stable for now, so 5500USD is next big support and also this crash brings more volume into market. I am optimistic, in next few days we will go back to 6000USD, if this happen everything will be fine again.

Honestly, I’m afraid to even assume that the price of Bitcoin can drop to $ 2,000. But if this happens, then the price of all coins will be very low and people will be afraid to invest in this case, because everyone will think that cryptocurrency is on the verge of extinction. I really hope that the market will still recover.

I always believe that no matter the bitcoin price, the market will always adjust and adapt to the current market situation, If the bitcoin price goes down that much, ICO will reduce the amount they are looking to raise in the token sales. 

Such a decrease in prices will provoke an avalanche-like collapse of the entire market, altcoins and ICO will cease to exist and miners will no longer support the Bitcoin network, I think that this scenario describes the death of cryptocurrency.

Normally back in the day when bitcoin went down the other coins went up, that wasn't really weird considering bitcoin dropping in value would only make altcoins look more valuable. Moreover in recent years they seem to be connected with each other, so when bitcoin goes down all other coins go down as well.

Biggest part of your question was answered on 14th of November when bitcoin went down a lot because of the big sell pressure put on it while the buyers were scarce and rare and volume was low. Which resulted with altcoins going down as well, they didn't stand their prices and the value dropped for them too. So coming back to your question if bitcoin goes to 2000 dollars than the price of all other altcoins will go low as well, just like how it happened last night. Same principles really.

If Bitcoin is dumped to $2000, altcoins will become worthless. Bitcoin is dumped to $2000 will make panic mentality and holders will try to sell altcoins at any price for Bitcoin and then exchange it to fiat, and get out of the market.

Definitely when BTC drops at the same time other coins too drops so the impact is high. Coming back to your question if BTC goes to $2000, it doesn't mean cryptocurrencies will die.

It will depend on the reason of the dropping, if it's because Bitcoin banned by most countries then we will have price adjustment, it will be fine after some times, but it also could be the chances of people buying Bitcoin to get more profit, one of my concerns is when it falls to deep then the investors could leave Bitcoin forever

If this really happens, it will definitely affect the value of many other atlcoin and it can make some altcoin take its value to the lowest level. I think the market will come back from the beginning and start growing again.

If btc falls to such great extent then many altcoins would go to cents marks and fall by 80% from the current price. As everything is depend upon the btc prices and if that only falls then altcoins naturally will be failing a lot. So always be cautious and do not invest all money under crypto.

 That would be the day when many altcoins die. Because most of the altcoin outside the top 400 of the market have very little capital. If the value of its assets divided by 10 is definitely bankrupt. That would be a great purification and the market would no longer garbage altcoins anymore.

there are many possibilities that can occur, some wild predictions at the end of this year in December bitcoin will fall deeper. yes according to some sources I read. and maybe it's just FUD.

I think its not work that way! Because i remember wayback 2015 the Bitcoin price was settled in $200+ to $600+ dollars and this so called buying spree was not happen and the ICO was already existed before. But its not affected by any means back then, In my opinion its the same it wont affect either.

Of course, we know that bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrencies and when it stumble, all is affected. All projects coin/token will drop significantly in their mart value  since almost all cryptocurrencies are pair with bitcoin. I agree with you. Some investors buy it now because it is a lower price than before, what if it reaches $2000 dollars? The only direction it will take it to rise up again, even I, will invest more if that will happen. It will be the biggest profit I think that we will have if we do that.

last year's bull run was like once in a blue moon with price spiking up to a greater level,though many economic factors were responsible.Even many scammers pulled out different scams and many money laundering activities happened.But to be honest this year the scenario is little different.Many people have already known about crypto and government in almost all countries are on high alert.For bigger whales or institutional money to come into play the market needs to a bit stable or else with so much fluctuations the whales and bigger investors are bound to be scared.Present scenario is only suggesting some correction are being made in the market to make crypto worth in long run.

There are very few places in the world in which your mining cost for Bitcoin are less that $2,000. If Bitcoin fell to this level and stayed at this level for any length of time it might mean the end of Bitcoin as Mining Farms all over the world would shut down from an inability to pay their bills. $2000 BTC would badly affect the price of Altcoins but the disappearance of BTC and other PoW coins might actually be good for the long term health of the industry.

I can't predict this but I think it will awful. As for me, I will buy more btc and other altcoin at small prices. Whem something is falling you need to buy. But when smth is growing you need to start selling.

The initial reaction of people holding altcoin and token from ICO will be to dump right away to buy more bitcoin. If this scenario play out, many people will be able to buy some amazing coin and token at rock bottom price and they will become rich as a result!

Altcoins rise and fall depends on the btc price' rise and fall too. Altcoin price is directly proportional to btc price, meaning if btc price go up so does altcoin prices, if btc price fall down so does the altcoins price. But if btc goes back to $2000, many altcoins would suffer making their value almost free. But this turn of event would give many buyers oppurtunity to gain more if they sold what they have bought at the cheaper price, yet on the contrary many would be holders making the market moving slowly.

It seems to me that nothing bad will happen, I think that on the contrary, it will have to attract a very large number of new investors who can invest in cryptocurrency new money. I think it will be next year.

When Bitcoin reaches the $ 2000 price, then the market is down, and all other Altcoins will become worthless. When that belief is lost, that is the most important thing in this market.

I don't think that will happen it is critical, if the price of bitcoin will drop to 2000. It's already 3,300, and it's not that far to fall to 2,000. Yes, many coins will leave the market, but those coins that remain in the future, their price can grow significantly with the new bullrun.

currently BTC is oversold and it wont go that much low. it was stable at $6000 and hash war created some fast dump. so i dont think $2000 is a possible price for btc

Basically, new tokens do not really listen to bitcoin because of the small cash turnover, but if bitcoin falls then a number of altcoins with large turnover will also sink with the price, but I do not believe that bitcoin will go down to $2000. Perhaps the reduction will be another $ 500 - $ 700 and all.

Nothing will change. People that want to sell their savings right now will sell their crypto savings and people that are still holding their coins will still hold. We are all waiting for another big market movement and hope it would happen soon.

There must be a belief that crypto will be back to success even though everything is going down now, even many ico who are adding time to hope that there can be a change in the time added. no one hopes that ico will fail and not run well, but all ways will be done and hope that there will be significant changes.

The more interesting question is what will happen when the bear market ends, and it will end. Will there be a high level of correlation in prices during the next bull market or will it be a selective bull market where only those coins that are showing real progress get to rise.

I think it just still stay the same, with respect to bitcoin decreases to $2000 as altcoins also lowers their value respectively. But still bitcoin is still the most valuable coin in the market. I think this would be possible since crypto matket now continues to fall down its price.

There are so many different posssible scenarios. Everyone is preaching their own (best outcome). I think if btc drops below $2000 a lot of projects will seem worthless, but are they really worthless just because btc is down? It may also lead to decoupling and to proper projects to prosper without those ties to other coins. I am not sure what will happen, but pas experiences lead me to believe that those that want cheap btc will do everything in their power to get cheap btc.....and the bottom doesn't seem to be in sight (yet).

It will be very difficult right now if bit coin to dip to 2000 . The bottom is ready reach and can't go beyond this .so many traders are already pulling out of the short position they continuously took for a long time. Although if bit coin dip to 2000 altcoin will follow dip at the same time but not all altcoin will dip.

since all of the coins has not been decoupled to bitcoin, definitely the prices of the altcoins would still go down by more than 20% - 30% of its current prices if bitcoin goes to 2000 usd. Anything can happen, and if this will happen and I have money on my pocket, I will try to fill my bags more.

There's a possibility that it's going to happen because right now the market is sliding and the price of the altcoins are also performing miserably, they are very fast to sell or dump their altcoins than to sell their Bitcoin, so this is going to be a game changer and a very much different scenario that we have seen for a long time.

That would be an amazing momemt for me, lol, i would rather pick some btc at lower prices because everyone knows that btc is the Holy-Mother in crypto. My answer is YES! Many icos will not succeed to reach the SoftCap and the low Market Cap coins will die sooner or later. Most coins will also fall in price, perhaps even more than the price of Bitcoin. But individual coins can rise in price, as investors and traders will look for a way to hedge a fall. For example it can be stablecoins.

Most of the altcoins with no reasons to exist to begin with will disappear (or will decline to 1 sat value) and will be abandoned by their respective developers. But the stronger ones, which has real applications in the market especially those which are developed by known or real companies will stay and continue their development. This is just a dormant phase for them but once everything goes back to its original luster, they will soar their performance.

Well the entire market pretty much is moving with bitcoin so definitely we will feel the effect on all alts if in case btc goes that low. Though i'm pretty confident about bitcoin's support and we're likely on our way to recovery even though it may take a while. Ether's moved up 100usd after that horrifying 80usd drop so there's a gradual upward movement in the market now.

Many of the rubbish projects will cease to exist. Like it has happened from the beginning. I saw many coins die but yes I saw other coins go x 10 or x 100 when Bitcoin was sitting at less than a thousand dollars. i think altcoins will always be pumped and dumped, irrespective as to what Bitcoin is doing. Even though generally when there is a Bitcoin dump, altcoins dump too because they are pegged to Bitcoin. Also we see the opposite happen and some coins with low market caps explode suddenly when they release something from their roadmap and are successful. I do agree though many fly by night projects will simply dissipate into thin air and no longer exist. I do hope though we see far more quality projects as we go into 2019 and beyond. Also there is Bitcoin halving occurring next year so I doubt Bitcoin can go under 2k next year.

And don't forget about financial component. Without money many startups will forced to close down. It wouldn't surprise me if some of projects will going to ask for a second round of funding like nem foundation.
