Interesting question, I know. For me personally the answer is no - I have not ever regretted having gotten into bitcoin, despite having spent hundreds and hundreds of hours researching the topic.  It's always been an interesting ride.

But I have a friend who got scammed and he regrets having had anything to do with crypto in the first place. It's pretty sad but there's nothing I can do about it. I even offered giving him half of the amount he lost from my own crypto stash (mind you I am not rich) but he's so scared that he's not interested any longer...

Bitcoin has nothing to do with that lost. Maybe your friend thinks that crypto is a quick rich scheme so he skipped the lesson of understanding what crypto is all about and just jumped into sh*t progress of doubling his stash.

If you think you did everything you can do to eased his regrets, better leave it as it is.

I once felt sorry to be here, but I think my regret is a positive regret, because I regret being late to know about crypto. and I have lost a lot of time. a lot of things about crypto because of the delay in getting to know crypto.

Set stop losses and you will never regret anything. Of course that's easier said than done, a lot of people can't control themselves, this ''buy the dip'' mentality has done a lot of bad things to a lot of people. Something going down 80% isn't necessarily a bargain.

In the world of cryptocurrency rules and regulations must be follow. I assume that friend of yours think cryptocurrency is garbage  in garbage out, without haven the right skills you are not advisable to trade and if you must trade, trade what you can afford to loose. Before invest in any project make sure you research into the project to avoid be scam. I will never regret be part of this awesome community of crypto-lovers.

Before entering bitcoin make sure you have the knowledge in order not to feel regret and regrer. Investing in crypto is quite risky which needs acceptance what will  happened in the future. Positivy is also recommended to have.

You don't have responsible for the loss of your friend. That's the very normal reason why many are starting to lose their interest in bitcoin because they fell to a scam and all they think bitcoin is a scam because they became a victim of a typical scam.

Those scams aren't only in the circle of crypto's but it all originated in fiat and even in the early days. Your friend simply invested to an HYIP/ponzi not exactly to bitcoin and just held his/her coins.

I dont have any reget into bitcoin.Looses is  normal  on our daily life but dont make that looses to stop what you started instead  use it as your teacher to the next step of your adventure. Thats why its important that you have knowledge and you learn first before you enter in bitcoin.

I regret more about the fact that I later learned about cryptocurrencies, than about the fact that I got into this sphere in general. If I knew about them before, today I could be a very rich person.

I have thought about coming late as a regret but it depends.

If regretting because we were aware of it either by ourselves or  someone introduced us to it but we didn't hid to it, well it should be a regret but if one does not know it existed and wasn't informed either, then I won't say it was a regret because you didn't delay yourself but the awareness didn't come.

I think many who have invested in Bitcoin since December 20, 2017 regret. The market has been falling for almost 1 year. The price returned to last summer indicators. I already doubt whether the market will grow

In my own opinion, once you gotten into bitcoin you should have enough knowledge about cryptocurrencies so once you do investing or trading you will not doubt on your action. I do not regret and I do not have any regret that I gotten into bitcoin simply because of it I can easily make money.

They should anyone regret on it investment on Bitcoin,if an investor have bought when the price was at the high side it do not mean the investor have run at lost,what the investor needs is patient,the market will still come up again with time,that is why it is advisable to what you can bear the the lost in every business.

Not at all, bitcoin investment has always been an unpredictable investment plan but one thing that you should this in mind that earning from cryptocurrency is not a sprint but a marathon. this one of the mistake that most people make, they think they can just earn within a night and this is not so.

People will get scammed where money is involved and unfortunately Bitcoin is not exempted from that. A scam has nothing to do with the technology, because the scam is linked to the people that used the technology. Would your friend stop using cash if he was scammed by someone and he lost some cash in that scam?

Bitcoin cannot stop scams, because it cannot change people's behaviour. Bitcoin can add value to people's lives, when they use it for legitimate investments and normal payments.  ;)

in the first place, crypto currency didn't scam him, his greed did, or probably his reluctance to research about crypto before diving in, but i would advice you don't bother him anymore as that may send a wrong signal thinking you have alot to gain with his involvement in crypto. Let him take his decisions. I have been in crypto currency for 5 years now and still counting, but i don't think i have any regrets though i am not rich or rather crypto hasn't made me rich but am enjoying the ride.

Because he did not study the bitcoin and the crypto currency well. Therefore likely to sink and lose all the money he invested it. So all newbie who wants to invest in bitcoin will first study it and find out the risks that can be taken into investing in btc.

I never regret gotten into bitcoin also because at the first time I earned good from it. I gained something good that not only supports my daily expenses but also able to invest on few coins that seem profitable on the markets which I believe that won't lost the value even how long to hold it. Even you experienced bad you should not doubt and regret on getting into it. You can do better at the second time.

I don't think i will ever regret having gotten into bitcoin. I am of the mind set of self criticism. I will always tell myself that why i failed was because i did not do it right therefore i didn't get it right. May be your friend did not do it rightly that was why she was scammed.

I did however reget the 3 times since launch where i researched how to get Bitcoin and never purchased any.

First time was pretty much at release, but i could not find any way to purchase any, the same story goes the 2 other times, could not find a valid place to buy.

Then many years later, i got into it.

I have regrets for not dumping all I have all the way while the price was high. I'm sure those guys who have bought BTC and other altcoins at the very high price are already regretting why they have invested in crypto. But then I enjoy the ride after all there is nothing left to do but wait. But keep working, day job still had given me a good pay to survive.

I think bitcoin isn't for all yet, as you say some people meet bitcoin and they get instant scammed, and that's a good reason to hate it and stay away from it for life. But personally i don't regret about join to this crazy crypto world, every day i like it more and more.  :D

Based on the question that did you ever regret habing gotten into Bitcoin? My answer is no even if I spent a lot of money I didn't regret on it I was lucky to adopt bitcoin on early stage and teach me how to learn from my mistake and teach me on how to be a patient person to wait on the right turn.

This summer, my friend also lost some amount of money due to the sinking of Bitcoin. I compensated them for him, because I was very sorry for him, he had to pay for housing. I was sure that I would still earn in the crypto market. But that didn"t happen. I also began to lose: some of the money was stolen from me, another part slipped in price. Under such conditions it's very difficult to believe in the best.

I regret that when there was no firm action to eradicate the hackers and others that matter was troublesome for me and I was surprised when there was no explanation or help

Well, personally I dont also regret having gotten here in Bitcoin, It actually makes me aware what do different kinds of peiple who has different kind of perspective towards this kind of community acted upon a scenario which may be similar in what happened to your friend, and it that case, we should be acareful also in spending here not everything in here transacts money some of here steal and scams.

I never regret knowing bitcoin. It might be not that good journey but it was fun and amazing,  I earn more than I invested.  I might loose many times but from there I learn and grow to be more wiser and experienced.

I myself also feel sorry when I only found out bitcoin in the not too long time trying if I already knew it with crypto, then I can make it a success today like other friends who first knew the crypto world but this is a motivation for the future so that more good again from today to the future.

I only regret that I didn't start investing earlier when I first found out about bitcoin. I know that a lot of people think the same way. But I learned about bitcoin much earlier than last year. Only then I didn't hope that something would come out of this. How I was wrong.

I haven't regretted and will not regret having gotten myself into Bitcoin because i started Bitcoining since early 2017 and have made it to my taste. In 2017 i invested more time and resources into Bitcoin and in return it was a massive profit i got, even own myself a house.....I love Bitcoin.

In my views, I don't really regret when I got into btc even in this current situation since I really believe that btc has just undergoing a temporary decline and would somehow be back on track. People should have to understand and have patience though it could may take a longer time but it will take effect sooner or later.  Instead buy more btc tbis time and hold more until the market trend spikes up.

Me too. whenever I invest in something, I will never regret for my investment. The reason is quite simple, I already did some researches about my investment before investing, that is the reason why i am so confident with my decision.

I never had any cause to regret joining or got involved into bitcoin it was rather a positive outcome although there few cases were I was on the losing side but the overall reward I have already got is well appreciable and be as it may I can never leave Cryptos for any reasons while there are dark sides of it like scams, hacking of wallets etc

If you invest/spend the amount of money that you can afford to lose, you mustn't regret, as it was your conscious action, possible results of which you could anticipate. And although we have a bear market at the moment, I still think highly of bitcoin. I think that a realistic estimation is the most important thing you need in the world of cryptocurrencies.

I regret getting into crypto as a whole! Not because I hate the technology, or haven't made box off of it! Infact I rellish the experience I have gotten from crypto! There are so many people who have been scammed by different investment agencies. When you are looking for short cut to get rich then there are bright chances that you will lose your money. Crypto Currency field is very delicate, risky and sensitive. This is a very common situation.How many people have managed to get rich in cryptography, as much and the loss of all that they had and even more.Here,of course,many factors play a role, from the banal luck and ingenuity, to experience in this field.Many simply were not lucky as they did not get to the right moment in a wave.Bought at a very very high price and had to sell for pennies.Of course these people are very scared and now unlikely to trust this system.I myself have suffered no small losses unfortunately.

Bitcoin or crypto is now on the trend and some people is using it as front to scam others who are new on this space but if you look on the other side of Bitcoin not just about the profit then you will realize how good this technology is and you will start to be involve because you want to be part of its success.

Never, when you get into bitcoin, indirectly you also observe other things, like for example other cryptocurrencies, other ways to earn money, new technologies ... I have not yet had anything to regret.

I never regretted being here. I realized that crypto opens up huge opportunities and I am very glad that I learned about it. Your friend should understand that him should not be afraid of crypto. The fact that he lost money is only his fault. You must first study the coins well before investing in it.

I'm very thankful being into bitcoin and having the information. Yes, I have some failures with few investment and bounty works but all in all I receive more than I deserve on the works I've done in relation to cryptocurrency. But there are some instances that we scammed by greedy people so that sometimes we thought to end up everything in dealing bitcoin but I realized that more bitcoin to come than losing bitcoin due to scam.

First of all we must bear in mind that never entrust any investment to anyone manage your own investments to avoid scam. It is really regretful if he trusted third party investor.
