I went through a technical analysis of myself and some others, I felt the ability to decrease bitcoin is still very high. Will we be able to see the next milestone that bitcoin will return: $3500, $2000, $1500?
And if that happens, what would each person do? Did you sell or continue to buy?

Should not be this low, I think it is already quite low and should be bouncing back form 5500$ to 7k mark soon. May be before year end we could see some huge spike in the price and demand and make the year end more better for everyone involved in crypt currency.

No doubt the price of Bitcoin has been declining to date, but I feel the price will not exceed the price below $ 5000. well, maybe that is possible, but we don't know what will happen in the future.

I don't believe there is much chance of $3000 again... very very slim.  $5500-5700 seems to be a pretty solid bottom (even with all the BCH manipulation and drama).

Now one thing is clear that it will reach the level of 5k and should hang, and then most likely there will be the next round of descent. Everything is possible that it will reach such indicators, but already now one should not hope for a holding and dream of a profit.

$5000 is a big psychological milestone, I would expect strong resistance there. If we fall that far then that should be the point where the market stabilises and we can start to hope for another bull run - although that is looking unlikely at the moment.

I hope this doesn't happen, the crypto market is now being made for me, but if I look at the cycle, I still believe BTC will increase the original double price.

bitcoin still has the best potential and bitcoin will still return to the highest position, but we must be patient waiting for the right moment. so I think buying is the best way rather than having to sell.

Hoping the same thing whether the price of Bitcoin will reach more than $7k then it is very good recovery but the market fluctuation is kept increasing which the prices are kept declining in the market makes many people think negatively. If the price of Bitcoin starts increasing then everybody will be happy by the end of the year.

There are lots of prediction about bitcoin price going down till $1500, however it is still under speculations most people and investors doesn't want to believe and there are also people who are preparing what to do in case it happened. It might happen, anything can happen but just believe in yourself of what you think you can do in case it happen. No one can be blame because you are the one responsible for your action.

Never sold while bitcoin is on the dip. Why would I'm going to do that if I can wait for the market to rise before selling? Take notice of the market and just look on to your own portfolio. We don't have an assurance if bitcoin will return to $1,500 but its best of not to think about it right now. There's an hot issue that we are tackling right now between these forks and it should be done. Although bitcoin is affected with the said issue, we just need to wait.

You are a decent person, I'm also keeping a bit of bitcoin and a lot of ADA. I think in this market nothing is unlikely, Bitcoin can return to the $ 1,500 mark at any time. But i will also never sell bitcoin when it's down, hopefully we will have a 2018 end in nice

We should not think about the lower price of bitcoin though bitcoin price is declining we can hope it will not below $5k. From my personal view bitcoin will rise back rather than getting down and coming December or January 2018 within between this time bitcoin will pump again. So there is no chance to go return $1.5k.

I look forward to this with pleasure, because I know that then the real value of the remaining coins will be revealed and many scammers will also leave this market. But in the future, we still need control, otherwise such strong and frequent recessions will simply kill the young technology in the bud.

Alot has been said about the price going back to $3k, I won't disagree with this because it is becoming a self fulfilling prophesy. But I really don't understand why some people will choose to sell at this ridiculous price, what has potential to hit $20k in the next 2 years because I know for sure that the halving will surely have effect on the price

The price of Bitcoin will improve in the future soon, and I predict that the exchange rate will go far, more than $1,500 inevitably happens. But now, when the cryptocurrency market has faced a lot of negative news, it leads to panic sell of the investors. So that the price of BTC will not raise in 2018.

The price of $1500 per BTC is becoming true after each day passing now. There is more sellers than buyers of Bitcoin now. The trust on Bitcoin and cryptos is lost for a lot of people.

This could be possible by looking at the current scenario. But I think BTC will pump a bit at the end of this year. You can expect both extream after seeing the market trends.

As I said in another thread I am here to educate people how crypto is a scam and I want them to be safe without investing in it. Even mainstream media is picking up the news which I broke in Jan. I am very happy because people who believed in me are happy.

yeah everything can still happen because the price of bitcoin is decreasing and traders' trust is decreasing as well so that it makes a big panic and sells their assets, this year is the worst of the initial creation of bitcoin based on market movements rather than price.

I don't think that bitcoin will fall to that price, but if that would happen it would be great to invest in bitcoin. The bleeding of the market is too much, hope it could recover soon, many investors are panicking and I feel sorry for them.

it can be lower but i think not touch 1,5k $. IMO the lowest in this year is 4k $.
although it on bad condition but many people still believe it. that's why i am not sure it would be 1,5K $

Everything can be possible here in crypto space, so there's a chance it can be reached. But we know, there's always a bounce back after such sudden dip and we should be able to handle the circumstances right now. This is the time to sell but to buy some of it and keep it for at least a year to gain some good amount of investment.

Sadly today, the market is once again red, with this momentum we will not be too far away from the $ 3000 mark. Actually at this moment I feel quite sad, this is the deepest decline of the market this year, hopefully we will see the growth again soon, otherwise I'll probably sell the bitcoin I have.

of course there are a number of things that can cause that to happen and as you say, rumors can make the market fall sharply in a short time. this depends on how the rumors are processed to make the FUD stab the market. some even say that bitcoin will fall in the 3k price range next month. obviously this is wild speculation and we cannot be held accountable. but after this year passed I thought growth would begin again.

This will be possible and if it really happens it is certainly a very terrible thing because prices are able to go down so quickly from the cryptocurrency market in an increase of 1 year and a 1-year decline in 2018 now

I have a huge faith on btc that it will never go that low and after 2 years will show a good leap from this previous dip that is happening which should give us all hope

I don't think because according to me All this crash has been done in just 4 days time it is and it should be done only to create BIG BIG PANIC among holders and believers of Bitcoin. This is the thing which whales always want to do in market so they can make big money . For me i see bottom at max 3600-3500 i don't expect market to go below that and this is where whole market will be in panic and all small holders are in a panic and selling there holding and all these BIG whales will buy big.

This is going to be interesting. A price level of $1500 per BTC is possible due to the seemingly impossible strong support of $6k that was broken a few days ago. Nevertheless, I would still continue to be disciplined and patient to stick to my cost averaging method for long term investment with my crypto holdings because I still believe with the innovation it brings.

Yes it can happen anytime soon. But I'm not going to wish that and I'm only taking all of those positive vibes because this market really is discouraging not only me but everyone who's talking about it right now. Sell now and you lose, that's it. End of your portfolio if you will buy on your emotion, don't get caught while its at the bottom. Vow, I'm really surprised at the price of the coins, now they are falling pretty strong, the current BTC price is only at $ 4400, maybe they will continue to fall. I believe in this, because the value of the coins is quite high while the prices of other coins are quite low

Technical analysis has never worked in cryptoworld. In order for the technical analysis can work, the marketcap will have to be more than $100B, and it will take several more years.

Looking at the price now will give you time to stop and discourage yourself. Don't take a look at the current moment you are likely to be depressed or you are already depress as tuning in to the market. This is very unpredicted otherwise you expected this to come. No, I think that Bitcoin still has enormous power and Bitcoin rates will not be at rates below 4000USD. I believe Bitcoin can now be stable and slowly increase in price. Bitcoin has been trusted by many people and is now the most popular digital currency and has been used in various financial systems in the world. Some important sectors are even implementing Bitcoin. We must continue to try to maintain a positive stigma towards Bitcoin, don't let a lot of negative news circulate that can actually worsen the price movement of Bitcoin.

We all have to keep trying to give confidence to Bitcoin, when public trust increases, Bitcoin will get stronger and will even get a positive sentiment in its price movements.

It is really the hard time of crypto if it goes like that and it surely people will still be undecided at that moment. I don't think we will see again bitcoin at 1500$. Already dropped a lot and i think next year we will see a good grow in price. So until then is better to wait and to hold bitcoin and why not if possible get more and sell only if is need cash money for emergency.

I think the percentage to happen that is low percentage. Because once new year happen it will become very high again  more than 10k dollars minimum for me. But for sure if many people still selling bitcoin price decreasing.

The truth is, it's just our feelings. Bitcoin is still a fresh market and a lot can happen. I also do not think that we would ever see $1500 again, but it would not be a big surprise for me if the BTC price fell to $3000.

I think it would be 2500$ to 3000$ in year 2018. Well I have decided that I will continue to buy till march 2019 and I will not sale till that. Hopefully market will be clear at that time. Your strategy is very good for buying bitcoin when it goes to down then you will buy it continuously so really thats will be very profitable for you and also you are talking about the price of eth that its price is goes to down but really don't worry about Eth its price will up very soon and don't sell it just hold for a month or few weeks.

There is a valid reason for the downfall which happened this month and I believe it will recover very soon, hopefully there will be a twist in price by next month. Wait and watch.

Since bitcoin dropped to $4000 below i don't have any plan to sold my bitcoin but $1500 is very low even that would be the deeper price for bitcoin in this year if this is happened but it could be very wise if bitcoin fall again people don't to panic and buy more but currently i wish i could buy more bitcoin

It would be a big opportunity for everyone to snatch a lot of bitcoins is the price goes @$1500. Its like the price early 2017, wherein it was pump because of the Winklevoss first bitcoin ETF if I'm not mistaken around Feb of 2017.

But it looks like the price is holding around $3k-$3500, so there's a lot of support at this price. However, we can't discount the fact that there are still speculators selling-off, afraid of what they have seen on the market started November so I wouldn't be surprised if the price goes deep and low @$1500.

I don't think this would go this far, on the other hand I wanted to go even lower to buy some that I haven't made before I have the oppurtunity, at the same time I wanted to rise because I need fiat. We've bounce back and now at $4k again. So it seems that $1500 is still not going to happen anytime.

Not that it won't happen, bitcoin has dropped to a low of 3k, and the market is currently moving specifically where bitcoin is growing more than 12%. this is good for merchant trust. I hope this growth is not only temporary

What are your assumptions based on? Just some random numbers you are spurting based on no proper facts I assume. The numbers you gave has no relation to the future price. The prices are totally unexpected. Did you see anyone who has given exact prediction every time there is a crash or a rise? Nope! They say random bullshits and some how if they are lucky, they manage to hit the bullseye. What I am trying to say is that, don't limit your investment/faith on crypto currencies based on these numbers. Think about real facts, such as long term price. In the long term, the price of bitcoin (if it manages to survive and has support) it will rise no matter what.

Yes it looks like bitcoin will continue to fall to below $ 3,500, bitcoin has dropped very dramatically in less than 1 year. All you can do is just buy and hold. Prices that go down very far like now are very detrimental if they sell it, so it is better to take profit of current conditions to buy bitcoin, because if the price of bitcoin returns like the highest price will certainly produce many profits. I am sure many investors will buy more if the price drops again. So it's better to be patient, this will take time.

Currently the price is above 4000$. I'm aware that this doesn't have to be the sign of recovery and that trend can change very quickly and the price could fall again. But on the other hand I don't believe that the price will go as low as 1500$. Besides I don't see that currently there are any signs on the market that would indicate such big fall.

Anything can happen in just matter of minutes in the crypto filed but here OP is saying about prediction without any evidence that how he conclude that prices will reach the low value of $1500 so this is nothing to do seriously with because it is one of the spam fest created for spambies. :D

Well i think there were few people who actually thought that the price would go way below 5k at this point of the year. Nd it didn't take a long time for us to hit under 4k. Goes to show that in a span of a few days we can go to as low as 1.5k. Hopefully it can be the same with an upward movement.

I doubt it will be THAT low ever again but I have said the same thing about anything lower than 4 thousand dollars and it did. So here I am saying that bitcoin will never be 1500 dollars ever again as a person who has failed to guess the same thing before yet I am still firm believer of what I am saying.

I know it sounds crazy that we all failed to estimate the price and failed to foresee the price drop so when we say it won't go that low again it doesn't give us any credibility however there is a huge difference between dropping from 6.5 thousand to 4 thousand and dropping from 4 thousand to 1.5 thousand. Can it happen? Absolutely it can. Will it happen ? I doubt so because it would require a huge sell off in the markets and even Craig is not stupid enough to sell all of his coins all at once.

It's hard to determine when will the market really stopped but I think this is an opportunity to take because the value is probably worthy to buy some and hold it for a couple of months.

While many people may want to see a Bitcoin price of $1,500 again in the near future, that seems rather unlikely first and foremost.

I can't deny there is a lot of bearish pressure on the market, and there may be further drops to come. However, it seems unlikely the price will go below $3,000, at least throughout 2018.

No one can predict the future and there is a good chance 21019 will offer even more bearish pressure moving forward. This is not the longest bear market Bitcoin has seen so far, thus it is pretty much impossible tot ell what the future will hold for us all.

Personally, I never invested in Bitcoin with my own money, but at $1,500, I'd certainly be tempted to give it a shot :)

The big question is: what would make the Bitcoin price drop to $1,500 compared to its current level?
