How do you promote Bitcoin or crypto currencies?
Do you even promote it ?
I am promoting it to my friends back when I was just new in crypto ,
But most of them doesn't care about it back then.

I personally just don't randomly talk about bitcoin. I just usually mention bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general and what they can do if someone I'm talking to asks what my interests are; and I only go slightly in-depth if the person is genuinely curious about it.

How do I promote bitcoin? I tell the person/people about it's main selling points/advantages: being decentralized, peer to peer, giving you total control over your funds, those stuff. I almost never talk about bitcoin as an investment, as I definitely wouldn't want them to look at bitcoin solely as an get-rich-quick scheme like most people do (and also because I end up sounding like someone shilling a pyramid scheme). If they become really really interested, then chances are they're going to put in money at some point. I prefer them having to decide themselves to buy bitcoin instead of me pushing them to buy bitcoin.

Other than simple word of mouth, explaining blockchain, crypto and more specifically bitcoin then there is not much that I do. Nowadays most have heard of bitcoin so it's more of an explaining exercise, the potential benefits etc.

Basically for me, what people need to do is just by word of mouth. A lot of people need to spread positivity about the advantages of Bitcoin and also give evidence why it is very beneficial.

There are many ways to get people involved in cryptocurrencies/bitcoin,you can start by encouraging them to invest in the platform,outlining the benefits as well as the "dark" sides of the network,its not so well to always talk about the rosy,get-rich-part alone...

Other ways would be encouraging merchant owners,shop owners and small businesses around you on the benefits of accepting bitcoin as a medium of payment,that way you'll be promoting the bitcoin as well as their business..

Bitcoin is already at the highest peak if measured in terms of popularity. There are can be  social media campaigns that can spread the awareness or any sort of latest methods that are used for publicizing cryptocurrencies. Launch of new programs with bitcoin that supports new inventions and other technical advancements.

Indeed. The most effective way to promote cryptocurrency especially bitcoin is through creating video about it and posted it in Youtube, Facebook or any kind of social media because all people nowadays are more active in social media.

To be honest, I am against promotion because it creates some kind of suspicion in the mind of another person. We don't have a very good reputation of the crypto industry, so instead of using the word promotion, I would say that we should always be there in order to explain Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to anyone who is willing to explore further information about it. We should not take any artificial efforts in order to attract others towards Bitcoin, the user base is growing since inception, we just need to share genuine information with that growing user base and clear their misconceptions.

This is largely a problem of the current bitcoin decay, because the promotion has been lost over time. Bitcoin does not need promotion in terms of recommending it for investment. Such kind of promotion may even hurt Bitcoin longer term, because it implants expectations solely based on speculation and greed.

My friends already know it,i told them about its existence but even if they know the profit that i have made from it they doesn't have enough time to do some research about it.Maybe they're skeptical on it and doesn't want to adopt cryptocurrency as part of this high technology.

I ask people that I always transact with if they could accept Bitcoin. After several attempts only a few of them gave in and the rest doesn't want to try it because of the volatility. Also started mentioning Bitcoin to my friends but I don't encourage them to buy because i'll feel guilty if I see them lose their money after investing and have no idea what to do next.

It's hard to explain because they have no interest in Bitcoin and most people have a short attention span.

How do we promote bitcoin or cryptocurrency?

First we have to start the sensitization in our immediate environment. From our neighbors to neighbors sensitization. I promote bitcoin as a utility token where they can use it in their daily lives for them to have easy and better life. I keep telling my family and my friends that the bitcoin will have special role in our economy someday. I told them it for them to be aware to the function of the bitcoin.

I expected them that they are literally for the price of bitcoin and that discouraged them and were no longer interested to it. In my free time browsing my social media accounts especially facebook and twitter I usually post into different groups with topic about investments and bitcoins tradings, In this way some people who might read it will have interest going into crypto. 

I talk to my friends and family about it a lot. But of course, you can only promote it by a certain point until you get people interested in it. I had a lot of examples where I introduced a friend to it and tried to teach him a bit, but he was completely uninterested so I gave up. The other friend of mine got so interested that he is even more involved in it than me and he is a quite crypto enthusiast. I promote Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies through signature campaigns or even talk about it with friends and relatives. I told them about it  for investment purposes but also give them warning as it is so risky to get into something they don't know. maybe it doesn't matter, if you offer it in a way that isn't right or wrong, have you tried promoting it via Facebook? I think Facebook is also good for you promoting crypto coins, I have often shared with my friends crypto coins from social media like Facebook, so why not try it.

I don't do it upfront, but I do enter a conversation I hear around me where two or more people are talking about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. I hear them, let them say what they want to, and then clear their doubts if they have any, or correct their statements if they make some which are not correct about the Bitcoin ecosystem etc.
Most people tend to find suspicion in a product that is highly promoted, and I don't want to give anyone that expression and that is the reason why I don't start a conversation myself about Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies with anyone in person.

Well, I still consider myself as a begineer here in Bitcoin and everyrhing that I know were not enough for.me to persuade people due to the future instances that they may ask question that I amy not able to answer given that I am just anew here, my experiences with regards how Bitcoi depreciate and fluctuate were not reliable enough to be the reason to start here.

You are right, I personally don't want to introduce into my friends or even my family on how Bitcoin works. They have already an idea about Bitcoin because I told them that I have a better profit on this but in promoting Bitcoin, well, I don't.
You know why? Because I am playing safe on this, I don't want to blame me if they are going to lose from investing. I let them realize and discover how Bitcoin works and what it is.

I try to tell my friends about riptocurrency. Many people are skeptical about Bitcoin, but I think that this will change over time. But some began to invest in cryptocurrency after I told them about Bitcoin.

I don't do the same thing as you do since there are a lot of people in the past that blamed me when they've invested on Bitcoin and other crypto currencies and the prices started to go down. I am telling them that it is just the certain movement since they are volatile but they are not believing me, well since then the price are still at the low price ever since the ATH. They've understand now how the prices moves but they did not invest again since they have more success on investing on other assets.

The best promotion that we can do is to share our knowledge in the social media platforms. There are a lot of users of different social media platforms like twitter and facebook. There are now many people who becoming more interested to learn more about cryptocurrencies.

Right.Through sharing the thoughts of bitcoin either in your facebook or twitter account,it might attract some people to get to know bitcoin and even invest in it.The potentials of bitcoin will not be known at first.It will only be recognized once a person puts a trust on it and finally invest in it,and use it to buy some goods in stores that accept bitcoin.

I only promoting blockchain technology and especially bitcoin if the audience are forcing me to teach them. So the way that I am using is through public speaking, I saying all the information that I know and it seems that they are all interested to bitcoin and blockchain technology.

Do not promote it if people are not interested to learn about bitcoin because for sure that they will only make fun of you. Before I promote bitcoin to my friends, I first asking them if they are interested to learn what is bitcoin. I do not remember a person to whom I would not tell about bolitcoin. I could even join some friends to it, but their experience wasn't so positive. Three gawe up in few months of commenting for a signature campaign, because of payment for low member ranks are low.
