Make an offer. Every OTC trader has different fees and tolerance for exchange risk. I'm willing to accept below Binance's price.

After some thought, I'll put forward an insurance offer rather than a price offer:

I'll sell it on Bitfinex and give you whatever I get for the coins and keep .02 BTC for myself. If there is any problem with that process (i.e. the exchange screws me over) then I would have to give you your 85 Bitcoin SV coins back or the fair bitcoin value without taking a fee (your choice).

This would be fully collateralized, and the value of 85 Bitcoin SV coins would be held with an escrow during this process, which means you would be completely insured and I would be the one taking on the exchange risk.

Sounds good to me, as long as both of us trust the escrow  :)

I want to get rid of these SV as soon as I can. I see this coin going to zero. Maybe I'm crazy, but I own too much of this coin due to the split to be comfortable with it. It's almost 2BTC that I didn't ask for, Faketoshi gave them to me with his shenanigans so I want to give them back.

This is how it will take place :
1) When you have both agreed, I will specify one of my BTC escrow addresses to the buyer. (They are in my escrow service thread)
2) Buyer sends the funds to my escrow BTC address. Once funds have been secured, seller can send the BitcoinSV to buyer.
3) Once buyer confirms the receival of funds, I will release the BTC payment to seller.

I was hoping to use BAB for escrow funds. I have 53 of them in Bitfinex. That covers the value sufficiently. Are you able to handle these coins, yogg?

(BAB = BCH = Bitcoin Cash ABC, right?)

The nature of the transaction would be as follows: He holds on to the Bitcoin Cash, then once he confirms he received it, you send me the Bitcoin SV and I'll sell it. Then I send you your BTC, and his escrow fee (which has to come out of the SV sale), and he sends me my Bitcoin Cash back.

Yogg, do you understand this transaction? We are not buying and selling to each other, I am giving him insurance for an exchange sale (he isn't comfortable with exchanges). You are holding on to my collateral temporarily while I sell his coins on an exchange, and you'll give it back to me when this has been completed. Post #4 lays it out.

I understand you wanted this done urgently, so I will waive my insurance fee when this does get confirmed and do it for free. Only yogg's escrow fee will be deducted.

No problem. Let's just wait it out. I agree with @yoggs, if there's no big decline in price from now, feel free to continue to deduct your 0.02BTC. After all, it took me a few days to even split the coins and then wait 200 confs for no block reorg attack (according to this guide (https://github.com/markblundeberg/coinsplitter_checkdatasig/blob/master/doc/coinsplitter_user_guide.md)). Waiting 60 confs is nothing in comparison friend. :)

has no transactions in it and is not staked anywhere on this forum. The reason why this makes me feel slightly uncomfortable is because if kopipe's account was compromised, someone could've logged in and silently changed the address kopipe posted while we were sleeping. Though unlikely, it would be a big problem if I sent coins to this address if that happened. Anyways, this is an issue that is easily rectified. kopipe, can you sign a message from 1G91VBCWtaU8oEnaSPhQi6AJ6cY3yp2CJ5 (the address that sent the SV coins to me) or one of the preceding addresses in the blockchain? Hope you are cool with me asking for this. When you are dealing with larger sums you can never be too careful.

He was not active for 12+ hours and I quoted his message as a reference of the address but you are right : we can never be too careful.

You're right - you did quote it in the first page of this thread. That is effectively staking the address and I wasn't aware that that was done until I read your message just now and went back to check. Nevertheless he should be coming online soon so he can just give a quick confirmation that that's where he wants me to send his funds to. A signed message is no longer necessary.

Your prophecy will be correct. It's a scamcoin and will drop to abysmal levels when the scammers run out of money to prop it up. I've already sold mine (sadly before it passed .02), and will certainly never buy it back even when it drops below my sell price.

If you need to deduct a transaction fee, please make it as small as possible (1 sat/byte or less). BCH blocks are wide open.
