Remember back when BTC first hit $1000 and everyone was excited? That was an awesome time to be trading cryptos. This forum was live and full of excitement. BTC traded in a nice affordable range between $100 and $600 for the longest time. Everyone was trying to afford the lastest SHA256 miners. You can actually make decent money off mining pools. lol Those were the good times.

Yes, they were good times but most times people always look at only the good times . They always think that there will only be good times without any bad times, they are totally wrong and these are the people who end up being very disappointed incase anything does not go their way because they are not prepared to see the negative side.
Some of them end up even spreading FUD and becoming trolls - More like publicly abusing your ex-wife that she's ugly yet you once nurtured and married her  ;D

Bitcoin will rise again - look at its historical record and you will see 10x increases and more are quite common.  A 10x increase alone is over $30,000 from its current value.  I recommend hodling and relaxing.

I was very excited when the price of bitcoin rose to the moon and altcoin also participated, even ico also experienced the same trend so I expected that working in a bounty throughout 2018 would get a lot of income. but precisely at this time what happened was a falling market. but that does not mean my spirit fades, it is even more excited to wait for next year's market to start a bull run.

Dont lose hope its not the end.

Look how this Jr. Member trust bitcoin and how he analyze a situation even he is new, these are the kind of investors that Bitcoin needs now if all of us will lose hope and keep on panic selling and get affected my the whales manipulation for their own selfishness then we will surely regret our decisions in the future when bitcoins price go back to $10,000 to almost $20,000 again.

No, what we need is someone who really recognizes the value of Bitcoin, not lost sane investor. Now anyone who claims that Bitcoin will rise 10 times from the price is blind, which is not conducive to promotion Bitcoin.

if you think there is a 10x rise coming then why are you saying "hold"? instead you should be buying not holding so that you can have more bitcoins while it is still cheap before that rise happens so you can maximize the profit you gain.

in fact i believe this is a big problem right now with the market. people are holding instead of buying and with that they are allowing whales to do whatever they like with the price and then buy cheap coins while others are watching. people should start taking the cheap coins out of the whales hands instead.

Do you remember the time before that, when the price dropped between 20% to 30$ and people were crying and moaning like they are doing now? Most of those people left the Bitcoin scene and some of them returned later and commented on Reddit on how stupid and trigger happy they were to sell those coins, when they panicked too early.

History repeat it self over and over again and we are going through the same cycle now. Blood are on the street and people are running for the hills and the few people with balls, who stayed behind to fight, got all the spoils.  ;D

my biggest problem is why don't people learn from the history already? is it because last year there was a lot of adoption that a lot of newbies came in that they are not yet familiar with the history?

i think that may be it. i wonder what is going to happen next year when all of those who are selling nowadays see the big rally to the moon.

Well I just want this nasty year to be over with and start a new leaf in 2019. I am not very excited right now as I feel the market is being squeezed by the shorters no end and as it is very easy for the big wigs to make profits shorting BTC without even owning any, I do not see much of a bright future fight now where the price is concerned. I think we will see Bitcoin back to 1k USD levels and many miners shutterbug down to mine Bitcoin stupid cash instead. I dread the thought but looks like that is where we are heading to right now.

Those "good times" weren't good for me,because I've sold 0,33 btc at 1000 USD instead of holding them for one year and selling them for 17K USD. ;D
Nostalgia is pointless,if you ask me.If 2016 was good times,according to you,then 2014 was probably bad times. ;D

Perfectly said not only last year but even when the price hit high in MtGox exchange in 2014 and then it also got crashed and everyone was crying but who had faith were still holding and they got reward in 2017 and who stayed till last quarter enjoyed highest reward. So same we can expect now back when it will hit high but it will take time and we all have to be patience and buy in all dips so that we can earn high when it will hit high.

Its a shame that people only wants the good times only which is impossible ,good times won't exist if there is no bad times ,let's all chill and wait because I believe the next good time is around the corner and we will see bitcoin hitting all time high again,market is in bad shape now but yet so many achievement so far ,so let's keep buying the dips

When trading in a volatile currency such as the bitcoin,one can definitely expect the good times were profits are made and also the bad when one incurs loss.
This is nothing really out of the ordinary,we definitely will have people leaving at this very dip moment and running/rushing back in when there is a seeming improvement in the network.
Until people come to grasp with the fact that this is not all about getting rich instantaneously,then they would not keep getting heart broken all the time their is a dip

Yeah, specially beginning of last year when bitcoin was just around $700 and then it went as high as $2k because of the first Winklevoss bitcoin ETF application, and then it went to $900 then go up again into 4 digits and then Japan enter the scene. Lol, those where the days, the start of the massive bullrun culminating and peaking December 2017.

When it first hit $1000 everyone was happy and excited,
Now that it could hit $1000 again everyone is stressed out and scared ;D .

It was nice time back than but even better time was when btc price reached $ 20 000 around last Christmas. :)
It's human nature that we always wants to hear positive news and be excited!
Nobody like stagnation or worse, when price drop.
But, it's natural for any kind of the market.
Smart investors always thinks long term, wait and buying when everybody selling sand selling when everybody buying :)

I got into bitcoin when the price was around $1000 and there was a good
buzz generally but ever since the ATH of January there has been a lot of
negativity. In another year we will be looking back at these times and
reflecting and comparing.

i a feeling of hold and see will it drop further.

Now the times are good too. There is liquidity in the market. This means that everyone has the opportunity to earn money. You just need to be able to adapt to the realities of the market.

That's very exciting moment when people are rushing to have their miners, I also planned that but can't afford. So instead, as an alternative, I'm rushing to have it when I have spare money to spend with.

And that's very different from the predictions we've been getting by that time, early predictions are too realistic. After just reaching $20,000, crazy speculations came out which didn't happened by that time.

yes under $10000 is the best time I think in the bitcoin network. we can see that the bitcoin have the great times when that times, the price is very stable and we can do trading and investing in a normal way and with low risk, i miss that time again :(

We will all live to remember these days when Bitcoin was the alpha and the Omega, those who sings Bitcoin praise have turn back and shame the same Bitcoin just because of it trial periods. They even create a lot of FUD about bitcoin thereby contributing negatively to the downfall of bitcoin. Let's cheers up bitcoin even at this dip because the tech is superb to none as we watch bull days coming.

Yes, I think It was about the same time I joined this community. It's very different experience for me and I was very lucky I got the chance to see and experience those time.


And in a span of 1 year, lots of scam mining pools, mining bitcoin is not that profitable and people are losing lots of money. Lol. That's what crypto is all about, and if you have like a heart problem or something, this market is definitely not for you. :D

What if market remains dipping untill the whole 2019?then you should be quitting?Lol bounty is just a tool to make money but this is not the money itself meaning we may fail or we may gain,whats important is our dedication and perseverance in achieving what we want to have.
This is not permanently the market position because what happened in the past years is same that happening today.so wait and have faith

The good times were sweet way back then. Everytime is a good time though depending on how we look at it. Some will make good opportunity of the moment and make some good profit while some will be in loss.

And meanwhile epic battles of power are unfolding as bankruptcy looms for the EU and the Federal Reserve.

Bitcoin is standing by as the global trustless p2p means of exchange.

Paris is literaly burning, and the NYSE is about to explode.

The only thing left will be Bitcoin.

Though I was not a member of this forum yet but I have bitcoin, I and My cryptocurrency friends  always celebrate when bitcoin hit a new height. I remember how happy we were when bitcoin hit $300. Now the system is flooded with people that do not understand how bitcoin works and they want to get rich quick.

Well, I have joined the bitcoin movement then back it sad because I never take bitcoin so serious those days and I was hoping/wishing those day can be reverse back so I can take the advantage. However, it will be good if could also think about the good days of bitcoin instead of lamenting over the down trend market.

It's one of the best times I've ever spent, people are excited and excited as things slowly start. But with the current Bitcoin dropping from $ 20k to $ 3k7 this is the worst price. Does everything make us happy and excited again? Or is this the end of a Crypto legend?

I will say that was the excited moments of bitcoin so don't think negative about it because better days are coming again

We have different luck in this world some become lucky in investing and some become lose. Joining in investing in bitcoin is good oppurtunity cause it give us chance to earn profit and become rich but some investor's lose there assets in a wrong decision.

I am very excited before with bitcoin because of how it can change the society and its capacity to change lives. After years in bitcoin, and adaption is slow, and with its price volatility I slowly understands now what a cryptocurrency is. Bitcoin cant change our system overnight, its a fact but the promises are still there and slowly changing our society. The technology evolves on its own depending on the demand and needs of it.

Not all the the time that the market is good like that. During that time many are wishing that they should buy coin when it is down, and now that time come they just say that it going to end. Truly that we are excited when it is good times happen but we feel worst when it is not and lose that opportunity.

I think that now it’s necessary to buy mining equipment again because now you can buy it at very low prices

I think Bitcoin will fall in price to $ 2,000 and many will lose faith in cryptocurrency.

But the most faithful will start buying coins and Bitcoin will grow in price to 40, 000 dollars in 2 months

We could not blame them if they are regretting now, because they are invested when the market is high compared now. Yes, they are expecting a bull market (me too) in the 4th quarter of the year but nothing happen, the excitements have been done when they know that no more bull run at this year. I remember last year when I also start in crypto, yes, at that time crypto is very profitable even in joining airdrop. But now, nothing!

I remembered and smile right now.. I remember that i was saying; "The Bitcoin price will reach $1.000 one day, i am sure". I don't lie, i made quite Money with bitcoin, i am lucky that i met with BTC in 2015. Anyway, lately  i saw the $19.000 line as well and unfortunately i am quite sure that we will not able to see that price again.

Get ready to see it back in that affordable $1000 range...

I hope that this wonderful time will come back and we will all see our prices for Bitcoin

every bitcoin holder was then very happy when they were holding the bitcoin and also noticed that the bitcoin had appreciated and then their money had increased in great percentages as they never expected and that was what gave rise to the commitment in the bitcoin. i will be happy when it gets to twenty thousand dollars.

I still remember the good old days when the income and flows when there its was very exciting when bitcoin was so much around it was the best but considering the fact the market is in red its discouraging but still i cant leave

It is the same excitment that we wen through when bitcoins was at 19000 USD last year. This is not the end of bitcoins and I think there is more room for employment in the upcoming year.

yes, in 2013 the value of BTC was around $ 200- $ 300, and increased in 2015 to $ 1000.

traders are more comfortable with that value, because graphics are always stable, but, when BTC makes extreme volatility, BTC becomes difficult to predict. And many people think of market manipulation.

Now bitcoin is at the bottom of the market. I think that in the near future it will start moving up smoothly. The euphoria has passed. If investors and traders again begin to euphoria, then we can again expect a sharp upward movement and such a fall, as was the case last spring.

I can still remember the time when I forst got my Bitcoin into my wallet. I can say that my urge to use Bitcoin grow even more inside of me. I am very happy and excited when my first Bitcoin came into my life.

Amazing what difference a few years can make. Now people are losing excitment because it might drop to 1000 dollars. In 5 years people will do the same when it gets dumped down to 10,000 dollars

I can't forget the joyful moment like that. at that time was when I was new to playing in the world of cryptocurrency. and I was very excited to mine all of the altcoins and pass them on to BTC and hold them until now, but I am confused what if we continue to reduce the price if it should be done so as not to experience very heavy losses, hopefully it can be better in the coming year.

The recent crash in the market, is actually not something that brings joy to the minds of individuals - most especially those that are currently running at a loss on their investment. It can therefore be said that, there were excitements in the past when bitcoin had its market up, which i believe in optimism would still come back in times to come.

The recent dip is a lesson for the wise one to accumulate for the time being as the current price will definitely gives profit in long term investment for sure but many are still afraid to buy in and some are panic and selling when they meant to hold so the decision is on yr discretion and when time comes you can say if its hard way or easy way to learn.

And those were forgotten just because they didnt rode the boat at the right time and got so much loss.

That is their fault. They should have known the risk first before jumping into conclusions which gave them a bad ending.
Actually, not really a bad ending. It is not yet over. They are just in a rush to make that money without even thinking that it is still bitcoin which is still on its young stage.
