IMO all ICOs coins depend on how good bitcoin is. If bitcoin goes down like this year, ICOs too, vice versa

Indeed the fall of the market makes all coins from ICO difficult to develop and the price is far from the price of ICO. Investor confidence in ICO also began to decline and several problems in ICO also worsened the condition of ICO. I think the token sale of the ICO model is coming to the end and I heard that STO will be the successor to ICO, I personally don't know the token sale of the STO model, but clearly there are many people talking about STO.

Most ICO that will not list to top exchanges like binance or kucoin will surely die in this kind of market. Probably 1 out of 100 will be successful, I don't currently know what ICO it is but that's the reality. This is not the same scenario last year wherein coins/tokens from ICO are easy 10x.

ICO / ITO / STO will be more regulated. There are several countries who already started to recognize initial coin/token offering as another way to start a business, such as Malaysia etc. I think this is good to protect the investor, and more or less regulate the crypto market. Tbh I only hope the requirements to start or join an ICO won't limit retails investors to participate. As long as regular people like us who don't make 1 million a year can invest and participate in ICO I think that's good enough.

i believe that the days of ICO scams are nearly over because they over did it in the past year and scammed so many people out of so much money that people are now caught up with the method and are more aware of it now.

as you can see the death of ICOs have already started with them failing to raise any money and many of them closing down with an embarrassment. they need to come up with a new method of scamming people now.

Some guys don't know basic mathematics and they still think they want to invest in markets. -100% means 0 and if your coin becomes 0 that basically means it's dead or no longer listed and trading. Probably what you mean is below 90%, but what's abnormal about that anyway? It's how it is in crypto. People have warned before that if you are comfortable waiting years and seeing 95% losses, welcome to crypto. If you're not, better stay home and keep your fiat in your bank savings account.

With the passage of time, people lose their interest from ICOs. There are many reasons, one is currently approximately 300+ ICOs are running at a time and market is crashed due to some reasons so people don't take risk of investing in ICOs because once they invest in ICO their investment is bound for at least 6 months and when ICO finish due to market crash they fail to reach their maximum goal so when they list their coin on exchange the price is 3-4 time lesser than ICO price.

These are the reasons why people don't want to invest in ICOs so in my opinion ICOs will not has good future in 2019, there will be a great decline in ICO numbers in 2019. Exchanges are there to invest or for trading so people have more chances for investment without losing their capital before listing.

I think main thing would happen with ICO market  would be less scamers as we see more and more scamers have problems with law so i hope more professionals would join mareket in 2019.

ICOs will continue to perform abysmally so long as BTC continues to drop in price and the market continues to be bearish. It therefore implies that I'm not investing in any ICO for now, as they will only end up being a money drain. For now, if a project has a future, I'll wait to buy it the exchange after listing and the price has dipped.

that is not "growth of ICO coins" that is just Coinmarketcap.com listing a bunch of altcoins that have been created before but they have not yet added them to their platform and suddenly they decided to add a bunch of then pushing the number above 2000. not to mention that not all of these coins were tokens, many of them were actually stand alone cryptocurrencies.

Ill give you an example, if you see DOGE coin before the price really drops but lately the price raise meaning if you will go for an investment expect that the price will drop and you need to wait a long period of time to have a good return on your investment.

Common! ICOs are dead! Completly dead. According to the last research the total gross revenue of all the ICOs for the last 3 month was just a little bit more then 300 mln USD! The peak was more then 2 billion in 3 month in the beginning of 2018

Everything is getting worse, as the proliferation of ICO scams and frauds are happening everywhere, maybe the new upgrades and hardfork of ethereum by January 16 could drive more security and safety of new ICO by 2019, im hoping it will happen.

As, you know the crypto currency market cycle is changing very fast if not within a 6 month then must be in between 2 years. And the whole year of 2018 already gone sluggish due to several ban from the different economy like China the biggest crypto user. But who can ban it totally as it is a decentralized. So, Now some of the countries are looking for some what legalize this currency if not totally and the news are also coming somewhat positive. So, it can be say that the ICO market for the year 2019 if not so good but will be decent and the new investors also come.

It looks like ico in 2019 depends on the development of cryptocurrency in the future, if it has a good future, there will be a lot of ICO created, but if it's not good then it will be very difficult to create ICO because it will certainly fail in raising funds.

As an investment ICOs are not wise given the current market conditions, most projects fail even in a bullish market. I think that ICOs won't really take off again until 2020 or later. Hopefully the SEC lets up before then so that ICOs can be conducted without fear of prosecution.

Investors only use ETH as a tool, eventually they will throw back their ETH to buy the project, so as not to provide a long-term increase this will only provide volatility at ETH prices only. What really will give a good effect on the price of ETH is that every investor really invests in it, whether it's long term or short term.

the ico market is sure to change significantly in 2019. the hype is over and many ico scam have driven investors out. as long as no solution is found for the scam ico, the investors will not come back. that could also be the end of the ico market. but that is just my opinion. if it comes to that, we will see.

Future of ICO in 2019 will depend on situation of crypto market in 2019. If crypto market in 2019 will be the same at the moment so future of ICO in 2019 will also be the same like at the moment. Nobody will risk their money in ICO project if crypto market keep falling like this.

Only ICO which are regulated in some sort can enter the market and gain some money but as always it can possibly only satisfy big investors with solid % benefits in token prices. I thing the first super successful ICO was Ethereum and EOS was the last. First was super successful for investors and the last - for owners.

I think this is true. All cryptos on this market now mostly depend on the price of BTC and ETH. So that to help ICO project grow in the future, the exchange rate of BTC will have to increase. If vice versa, the ICO will be downtrend and will disappear.

Yes I still believe in ICO coins especially those that have  a great team and roadmap.  Those that are delivering their promises as to development and always on time if not earlier than announced date.  Though cryptocurrency ICO is plagued with half-baked plan. fraud and scams, there are still ICO coins that is legit and promising.

ICO failed very badly from last 5 months. I did not observed a single ico from last 6 months,whose price after listing on exchange is near to it's ICO price. Like HBZ was 0.15$ per token, now it's price is $0.000763 per token. It's highest price was 0.003 I think so. LEDU was 0.04$ in ICO and now it is 0.0028$ per token. Don't forget these ICO's are very old. They were ended in golden period. These are just two examples, there are so many other tokens/altcoins which are ruining people's investment.

Most of ICO will just disappear. But some of them that working with real people in real business will survive and still can make a profit to their owners.

In 2017, very nice money was gained with ico investments and many projects were successful. but in 2018 we could not see a successful ico, and the projects we saw were scam. I think we will continue to see scam in 2019 :)

Initially, 99 % of ICO-lived and collected a huge amount of funds only at the expense of cryptocurrency HYIP and ICO at the end of 2017. and early 2018g. I never understood after the fall of the market in January-March 2018g why people still carry their money in incomprehensible projects. As a result-all of them lost their money until today.
 In November 2018g. the projects raised only 68 million dollars, which is hundreds of times less than it was at the beginning of the year.
People finally began to understand that all ICO - it's just candy wrappers that can not cost the money that they are asked for. As a result of the fall immediately after entering the markets by 99%. This topic is very relevant to my opinion. I think the ICO will return in 2019, when the ICO in 2017 does not comply with their promise in 2018. The number of successful ICOs is very small in 2018. Market conditions are not too influential if the developer is able to make prices rise again when a dump occurs. they have a coin allocation that is able to keep close to the value of at least the initial ICO per coin, market conditions are not the right reference because investors will remain loyal if the developer is able to provide things that make them comfortable being holders of the coin development.

I know it's hard to believe again if we loss so much,  a lot of people fails as the market dumps surprisingly. Though it happens again and again but I'll still believe that we might have a good trend next year,  a big opposite of what we have now.  We just shot another chance and see were it goes within half year.

Personally, I have lost hope in ICO investments. ICOs do dump their tokens before they are distributed to the investor so it is better to wait for the tokens to be listed on an exchange an then we go in and buy the dumped tokens.
