Creating a product (cryptocurrency) isn't easy and getting people to use your product is JUST as difficult. Our company has created a cryptocurrency wallet/ debit card linked with MasterCard so you can use it to buy a cup of coffee or go grocery shopping with based in South East Asia. For an AltCoin like this, how would you guys go about reaching out to real users?

The problem is that 90% of altcoins are concentrating on making paid campaigns on their own altcoins that most of the time these same altcoins are worthless, if the owners of the altcoins concentrate on doing signature campaigns paid in bitcoin then they would have bigger exposure of your product, because many people would participate in the signature campaign, participate in twitter campaign, facebook and yotube.
Of course, running a paid campaign in bitcoin implies that project owners will have to take money out of their pockets, but the results will be much better.

Another very important point is that the project team must interact in the thread and in the social media. I believe that making explanatory videos about how your product works becomes much more inviting

One of the biggest things most of the recent altcoin projects lack is the market demand for the asset and this does not drive the people to be interested. If there was a market for the product or if the team can create a market for their project specifically then there would be a greater demand. Now its a difficult thing to raise the demand of your own currency which is why I have seen several ICOs going to their own platform and asking people to use their platform and doing so would require their coins.

This is easier for the utility tokens but not for the security tokens. But again why would someone use their security tokens to apply for a service - I believe it is apt in its usage.

Just relying on marketing campaigns would not drive organic traffic to your product. You might need to evaluate the success of that marketing and then take corrective measures accordingly.

It's either you might have the wrong market for your product or you have promoted it badly. I myself is staying in a country in South East Asia but for once I have never seen any promotions regarding X infinity market not until now. Also if you want to test out your product which I think is a great idea you should have some recruitment process on some volunteers to see if their life was made easier with the use of your debit card linked to their cryptocurrency. Usually a product like what you have is afraid to be tested first by them if they are not seeing any good reputation behind yours, having a good feedback as well as partnering up with reputable banks is the best way to build their trust.

Somehow your ANN thread has so few replies, that's a pity. Signature campaigns seems a good way to my mind and one example of this can be Qtum. Currently they are 29th on coinmarketcap, they ran a massive signature campaign (bitcoin based) for four weeks as I remember.
It's really hard to suggest ideas because especially nowdays, marketing requires a lot of money...

I think that is completely normal. What altcoin atm has real world use ? Users simply don't want to bother getting on an exchange and selling BTC for other coins... And if you think logically, why does your coin exist ? Why you simply don't do the same stuff you do just with BTC ?

Getting people on using up your own Altcoin would really be very hard.You might have done lots of marketing strategy but that thing wont really give
out guarantees for it to be adopted no matter how big budget allocated on that one.If the project is just similar or doesnt give any significant usage at
all, then theres no surprise for people not to jump in.

I hadn't heard of your crypto yet before this thread.

You may need to get press releases out there and perhaps try to reach a younger audience via Reddit and so on.

I do know for a fact that traditional marketing channels don't really perform for cryptos. Cryptos require word of mouth marketing. A trusted person to convince another one to use cryptos. When you spend $$$ on TV and so on you're not really touching the "trust " side of people's desire to invest in crypto.

Look at cryptos that are being used.
Steem is absolutely crushing it, if you create something as great as steemit you won't even need to market it all that much.

Interesting. So do they really want to promote their project by the signature campaign? I don't think so because they were indirectly promoting their medium blog topic.

A good marketing strategy, invest on people who are known in doing this and I think you can easily find them or they will find you as long as you have a concrete plans and a project that will work. Debit cards are common but whats you edge from the others. Do you have your own blockchain or just another erc28? These are the questions that I believe that needs to be answered in order for you to gain users.

      Yes this kind ICO product makes crypto strong since this project is very usable and applicable to our society ,  other project which is similar to this like AROUND "AR" and UBcoin are also use for online purchase so it's good to patronize on this product .

the problem is not with advertisement or reaching out to merchants or linking the coin to mastercard,...
the problem is that this coin is not different from hundreds of others and all of them are doing the same thing. so the question remains that why would a user choose this coin instead of another one.
sometimes just being different is not enough. that difference has to be big enough and fundamental enough to make a difference so that people want to use it.

Very true and each of them can not solve our scaling issue right now.
advertisement is only good for a moment but it is not sustainable and in the end there will be another cryptocurrency popped out from no-where claiming to be the next cryptocurrency.

You only need a new program with a unique idea from the others, the cryptocurrency debit card program associated with MasterCard has been used by many projects out there, so far they have failed in development, only (MCO) Crypto.com has successfully launched a debit card ( McoVisaCard)

For a project like yours that offers a crypto wallet and a debit card that has the power to spend crypto, i will suggest you to come up with a truly global card that will increase the userbase and attract large customer base to your project and help with adoption.

Just offer people a working product, a good attitude towards them, a growth perspective and your coin will be in demand in the market.

Don't do anything just show them what you earned in crypto,
For sure they would ask you how you get it and they would also try it,
People would just ignore you if you pursue them to use it but if you show what you already earn they would follow you.

We really need a platform like this, not only developing financial technology but also making cryptocurrency become more useful and have value in real life. Since this platform is already operational, so I think they just need to focus on spreading the network to all countries, so that everyone can take benefit from cryptocurrency.

it is a good concept but in my opinion such a concept is still not very interesting because there are still not many people who use crypto as a payment tool and the biggest problem is that there are very few shopping places that accept crypto as legitimate payments, so your team must work same as many shopping places so that your card can be accepted and used by many people

Making people use a certain crypto currency will never work. People need to be fully informed about the prospects and usefulness of cryptocurrency. If people are not interested in the coin, then marketing is not designed correctly.

And you are targetting southeast asia?
You are in direct competition with TenX, Monaco and OMG.
All three of these are already very far along and I don't see any new company being able to overtake them.

Also, why haven't you considered point of sales payment methods?
That is the preferred form of payment throughout young, affluent tech users in asia (the ones that would be interested in crypto in the first place).
For example, in China, you can already load your alipay and wepay with btc.
So you can use your phone to pay basically anything with btc.
Also, consider using professional think tank services on how to expand, like crowdholding for example

The adoption is going to take years and year and until common merchants and business aren't accepting cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, we may never see an altcoin that is linked to a creditcard that will also be useful as the current cards today. Until media keeps the drama of telling bitcoin to be a fraud  and all others to be scam, it will be stil not be used. XIF would be like the current coins such as Monaco tokens and TenX. If any of them gets to be used one day, all others will be.

Heavy promotion is all you need. You will need to fix a good amount of budget for promoting your project. Press release was a good idea. But since your project is mainly focusing on South East Asian people, you will also need to move your promotion and focus mainly towards them. The Social Media sharing won't actually help much (I am talking about paying people to share post, comment, tweet etc.) since most of them just use fake profile, i guess you who what I meant.
Try promoting your project using the help of some other platform, like promote your project on well known SEA blogs, news press and forum. Show what you guys have to offer them.

Exactly, crypto is not used as a payment tool so far I mean a maximum number of peoples are only have intentions to make profit from buying and selling. The usage to crypto for payment need to be increased.

I think it is hard to implement in this market now. Because cryptocurrency is not stable enough, even Bitcoin. Crypto market is needed more time to be applied in real world' payments.

As far as I know bitcoin paying signature campaign will make your crypto to be renowned all around this forum which is literally to the most of the crypto community people but now a days the bounties made the forum shit of spams so no one is looking at the signature since there is no readable post made in many sections of this forum.

This is very common and was already done by other altcoins. Looking for a user? Start creating a platform with unique idea and strong partnerships. For a well known online shopping website like Amazon, the main reason why they have millions of customers is because of the assurance that Amazon always got their customer's back or always got them covered. It would be nice if you will offer the same service to your altcoin users. What we need is an ASSURANCE from the company.

You would need a lot of marketing through different social media. Then you should make them to realise the benefits behind the use of your product,which is your card, as compared to the conventional method of payment.
If there are backdrops behind the usage of your product, try to address it before making it known to the general public.

Let's face it. Not all the community is ready to accept cryptocurrency. Therefore, we work so hard on advertising every day. If your project has approved Mastercard, this is great and you will not end up with customers soon. Since most of the projects that used Mastercard now can not get their cards.

I think any cryptocurrency financial instrument finds support from the cryptocurrency community.

If you want your cryptocurrency will be used by people so let's people know about it first then try to complete everything in your plan that you listed out for your cryptocurrency. Beside you'll have to have a great team as well. One last thing, keep all your social media accounts and group up to date.

        It is very difficult to create a project in which people believe. I'm sure you are well-intentioned, but your project does not differ from anything else. You have to come up with something new on the crypto market with something new to solve a real global problem. I do not think it's the issue of how you promoted your project. Creating a debit card is a good idea and maybe that will bring you some investors in the future.

Most payments now come from having them able to pay quickly through a certain method. Crypto is also an alternative to many online payment methods. One disadvantage is that not everyone knows about crypto, so daily payments with crypto are still a long way off.

The best way would be to get them to do things like the bounties and the airdrops because once people have the coins from a project then they are most likely going to want to be involved in the  project and by using it they are making sure that your coins are getting the required transaction volumes that the coins are going to need to be better

I think you need to create a really great use of your coin,try to to get your localization to emers to the coin through merchants accepting and build true community.

Hmm, sounds interesting. But I think it's best to make something that will be used by people without too much effort in marketing. Something they always wanted or needed to use. An alternative and very convenient should do the trick.

Almost every project is trying to make their own coin and with it tries to force people to use their own coin.
i think that this is flawed and  this happens because the ICO model in general.

I think when it comes to getting people to use your Cryptocurrency, I think you need to really have a good team members that are focusing on advertising the project. For example, using social media as a tunnel to connect your project to the people. And some of the people might read about your advertisements and might know what are your goals.

Yes its a good idea, we need to think more smarter than other's to overtake them. Skills and a good attitude towards them will give a good feedback to them.

We can't force people to use it or know the crypto. ICO asks us those who participated for their coin using that form of the usability of their platform. Hmm! You are absolutely on point buddy but at thesame time what I believe and know better for sure is a product would always market itself base on it’s utility and usefulness. People would always go for what they need.

Why do people need so many different cryptocurrencies? I cannot even imagine how you attract customers to yourself, people are not ready to use the most popular. Maybe you can do some bonuses and low fees.

We need more working products that are ready to use on a daily basis and could be compatible with other existing centralised services. This is the only way of how to make people to switch to crypto currency.
