Lot's of post about Bitcoin price, few are worried few are motivating. But I want say Bitcoin still is Bitcoin but we are greedy. We just want become rich suddenly like magic. We don't want to wait. Every currency fluctuate on the world and we are not think about it but if it's happen with Bitcoin we start make sound. Really are we not greedy ? Once Bitcoin was around $20K we didn't sold it and we expect it will raise more then we will sale. Many people's bought on $20K what about them? Now it's near $3K and we are expecting it will come more down then we will buy. So actually we are really greedy. Still Bitcoin is Bitcoin, just price are plying. If price go again on $20K then we will think why we not buy when it was 3K.

However just I want to say don't expect become millioner on a day. Still you can buy Bitcoin, no one was expected it will go $20K on last year. But once it reached then fake expert was give prediction it will go $25/30K. Now dumping price again they are giving prediction it will go $1/1.5K. Don't trust them. Keep patience, if you are holder just think you have diposite it bank for a year. If you want to buy then do not think it will go down and then we will buy. Just buy and hold it. Who know when it will up. But your Bitcoin will be same Bitcoin so don't worry about USD price. Any time it could be recover. Don't be hopeless and sale your Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a greedy currency, of course, its investors, because the development of the crypto currency depends on the investors themselves, whether it is bad or not, depending on the intention and purpose of the investor.

I would not agree with you on this no one is greedy the fall in price of any commodities would obviously cause discomfort amongst holders and that's the case of what's happening at the moment with bitcoin

some people that involve in trading and investing broke is not because they don't know about the technical about trading and investing. but sometimes they do that because of they too greedy. they want to makes some money more and more in the short time. so they trapped by their own move

I agree with OP. Bitcoin has already revolutionized the world, but it takes time to become a household thing. Credit cards took a long time to become mainstream.

Lots of investors were attracted to bitcoin in the last couple of years, just because of its rising price but not for its usability. yes, bitcoin had made lots of people reach but truly it's not a money making method but a revolutionary introduction of a new technology.

The human nature is always greedy that is why a lot of people are scammed easily. Bitcoin made a lot of people millionaires by this time last year and people are not happy with the current market situation. HOLDing will make one happy again  as bitcoin will come out of the present situation and be stronger than before

If you don't agree, then take a look at the posts being created by the moon boys here in the Bitcoin Discussion subforum and on Reddit. You thinking people are investing into bitcoin because of the technology? Trust me, as you can see in most bitcoin-related communities, people that invest because of the technology is a huge minority. Greed is actually one of the main reasons why bitcoin rose so much in December last year, because people we're wanting to multiply the money they put in into bitcoin.

maybe for my opinion, investors are just looking for their profits and having an impact on price declines which can be said to be too many they set a very large profit and also the price of the price which is a concern for us users.

Opinion that is very wise in the current situation that bitcoin is in obscurity and almost down to the most difficult base, we must believe that bitcoin will still exist and get a clear and definite place.

The price of bitcoin is unbelievable at a very low amount this will only normally sound as trouble in the ears of investors but this is when experience comes in the ability to hold and be patient would be key at this stage

Bitcoin is doing fine and dandy up until the market is flooded with get-rich-quick dudes who always believed that the market will always rise. Fortunately they were wrong and bitcoin isn't always in the greens. Bitcoin is supposed to be a tool to free us from the banks and governments but when people realized that they could speculate the price of it, everything changed and the libertarian and anarchist value from people using bitcoin were lost. It's quite saddening but that's the grim reality we're facing, and as you said, the posts on this forum say it all.

BTC is as much about public opinion and acceptance as it is about the technology. While BTC tech is the same or better than it was a year ago, public opinion and acceptance is much worse. So it's not the same as it was.

Even I am waiting here for the same like everyday it is very sad to see the market value and there are lot of FUD's spreading like the value may go to $1000 and even low also a lot of them say crypto will be vanished very soon. Well, the only thing which comes in my mind is this technology was developed to favour people. Hopes are still alive in my heart and BTC will sky rocket again.

As a layman, for me it's not a problem of greed or not. It's just that, I'm still confused by the current market conditions. Is there interference from certain parties, so the market becomes like this?

No one ever expect bitcoin able reach current point but the fact is it's happening.
Every people want their investment tool grown up just like my local stock bank exchange growing 12.000% in 10 Years.

Yes, its just human nature that we are not satisfied at things. If we see in the longer run, it is much better for bitcoin to grow slow and steadily. In this way, it will be very stable in price and people will use it more as a currency.

Credit cards are still in the adoption phase. But you are right. New economic models don't come and change the world overnight, it takes time, a lot of time. Look the step from gold to paper. it took over 5K years to be adopted globally...10y we have BTC, I believe we need another few to get to the adoption moment...

I " ve seen a lot of BTC of my business myself . I "ve seen a lot of damage to this moment , but I agree that BTC " s out of the path and has to go back and see the damage .

A lot of us have caused heavy losses , but I am ready to be part of the success of BTC in the coming years .

I think it plays a bigger role not greed and fear of loss, because you can buy at a given price and the exchange rate falls below what is sad. Greed is when you buy and the rate has increased by 2-3 times and you do not sell in the hope of seeing that the rate will rise even higher.

I agree with you mate,human is naturally greedy.Most of us wanted to have profit in a short period of time.Scam projects were spreading because the people behind it wanted to have easy money without even thinking on their victims.Greed surrounds that world and lets just accept the fact that no matter how we want to escape the reality thats the sad truth.

Bitcoin is a greedy currency which will innovate the world of currency and will eliminate FIAT.
People are greedy and buying at high with out even knowing what can the market have to investors.
They are just into hype, but most people who did that before are now know what they are doing.

In reality, I agree with you that Bitcoin is still Bitcoin. it is only because we compare the current price with the one time market price anomaly that we feel Bitcoin has dropped. I think it is important to emphasize this within the community as it will help improve everyone's morale.

Bitcoin will be bitcoin and even it is falling now we are sure that anytime it can go climb back in the hill.

Apparently not yet, since if these people really left the cryptocurrency market, that bitcoin would have long turned around and flew up again. This always happens when the market is ready for new investments, special conditions are created for the price to go up again.

It's a very greedy space, I can't agree with you less on that. Bitcoin is Bitcoin and will continually be such. But then tye big investors aka whales are kind of trying to drive the market to their own garage. Prices are been manipulated to their own profits and this goes on and on. But with time, I feel something better is gon happen.

Yeah kind of, if not why will someone hold his BTC when it reached 20K. We are just greedy and it seems everyone wants to make it big overnight but things don't work like that. There  are times and seasons and we just have to pay attention to that.

In my opinion the price we see now illuminates thoughts to us. Previous year's price boom attracted many people and the reason for this was more money and if will not spread as a payment method, will continue to be as it is. The fact is that everything that is worthwhile is traded and the most valuable is the money that is currently available.

even an entrepreneur to achieve success and get rich requires a long process. there is no instant success. but success is achieved by hard work, discipline, and patience.

Professional crypto users will understand the BTC chart, he will monitor and follow every chart movement. then, he will take advantage of each rising graph to make a profit. from a long process he became rich, not from quick decisions without calculations.

It depends of their own purposes .Short term investors are always in a hurry  in a sudden price increase of bitcoin. They can not wait for  that situation. That is why everybody is holding for their coin. Those who bought at high price do not wanna  lose their investment , if they can wait still, they can get back their money of course.Lucky then who bought for the lowest price because anytime they can sell their bitcoin for a sudden price increase without losing their money.

How did you say that we are greedy? For us we are not but in your self you are greedy. Being a greedy it is depending  on the situation. Those people who you are saying that they are greedy those are scammer that they want easy money not those patiently waiting and still holding their bitcoin because of the dumping so you didn't say that we are greedy not all.

every greedy person will never get success, greed will only make him happy temporarily. and that is also not a good strategy to get profit from investment or crypto trading.

Its a complex situation for bitcoin, bitcoin was never intended for store of values, but many people used bitcoin as investment without a proper research and they hope they can become rich instantly, many people that intrigued to bought bitcoin at peak price now become frustrated and start to blame and spread fud about bitcoin, greed is one of the dangerous thing when it comes to bitcoin

If it is true that last year attracted many people, more of them will buy bitcoin than sell it and price shouldn't not be like this, because automatically these newcomers certainly don't have bitcoin, of course they will buy it and save it for a while. The price currently doesn't speak like that, he said, some old players sell their bitcoin in large numbers, not newcomers who keep increasing.

Having our own price in mind is even the worst thing to ever do because it will make you shiver when there is a slight change in what you are expecting. For me, it is very difficult to get your money as it is during periods when the bears take charge of the market. Either sell or hodl and wait for it to end.

Greedy is one of the basic instinct that human being has especially if there is something worth like Bitcoin that has a value. People involved in Bitcoin is trying to get a wealthiness or profit from it and most of them will get greedy and never get enough. Basic Instinct.

Bitcoin is mother currency of all altcoin and the king of cryptoworld. The bitcoin price is down these days but its worth and market reputation still hopeful and will be stronger than before. Man is selfish by nature. Every one rise in their life and enjoy the life with the family and to fulfill these dreams a lot of people search a way to uplift farnightly become rich.

This is an inherent character in man - man never get satisfied. I don't direct the blames to greediness of man but rather the impatience of man. Most investors entering the market now are too impatient to wait although we all want more. Bitcoin is bitcoin no one can change and we know the value is unstable and now the market value is fall down and we know that value is unpredictable anytime can increase surprisely but even the market value of bitcoin now is low it is top value than other coins. That is correct. People want to become millionaires overnight. They want to become millionaires out of their small investments. They want to become millionaires hassle-free. That is sad. They just want to become wealthy in a blink of an eye while sitting down eating popcorn watching rotten shows on television. And the worse thing here is that these are the same people who spreads FUD the moment Bitcoin goes down. Bitcoin is better off if these people will sell their couple of BTC right now and leave the community.

I don't think you understand the point of what the OP is saying, people are indeed greedy, they want all to themselves, they will abuse the powers of what BITCOIN can give them because they think that BTC alone will make them millionaires and will make them forever rich, which is very incorrect and greedy.

 With the recent down stream on crypro market in the few weeks back, everyone, felt the impact and some are reacted different ways, dump, massive sell off was seen on the market trading, panic etc.etc.. Market Volatility always come with the market. yes, some are on the wrong notion that, investing is a way of easy to get rich? they forget to learn that market price value goes up and down unexpectedly. the future of Bitcoin no one can ever Predict but if we look on the more positive outlook on the future market, one will just go on with his life rather than stress on the daily market trend. look for the long tetm Bitcoin will be a coin for the future...

Indeed we are greedy because of the many desires, this is what makes us want to continue to have. In bitcoin, it is not for greed but can learn to be patient and need a long-term to be able to have a future.

Most people find a way to get rich but less work which make them greedy without knowing the background on where they want to invest. Bitcoin is unpredictable, it is not always good to earn but this time is good to invest because you can buy at cheaper price. I do not think that getting more volume now is to be greed but getting an opportunity. Hold and have the coin till it recovers on the market.

It is yet still a problem in the cryptocurrencies community, The majority is seeking to get rich in one night due to cryptocurrency volatility. the thing is most people buy bitcoin because they think it will make them rich over night without fully getting to understand the working principles and ideology behind bitcoin. we should buy and hold now especially this period that there is a bear market
