I want to understand what the basis of your conclusions? If you write about the fact that the crypto currency №1 and №2 will collapse, then justify it.

But I am curious and want to ask you, what are your reasons that make you believe that bitcoin and ethereum will collapse?

Have you only seen from the current price fall? It doesn't make sense if you just look at the price side and maybe you should often look at the history of the chart.

You can find different answers here because we will be rooting for the coins that we are holding.
If you think the coins you've mentioned will collapse then I'm hoping PundiX will replace and be int he number 1.
With the current value now, it will certainly make a lot of people rich.

Bitcoin isn't an altcoin so if these altcoins will collapse bitcoin will stay. And if you wish to see that bitcoin will collapse too, I don't think there will be any of it to replace it.

This is base less and I don't think any altcoins will replace bitcoin. The market collapse already and we are still in a bear market, if you think some coins will replace bitcoin then maybe it will took decades before it happens. I understand that the price of ETH falls below our expectation, and that can really be the bad price for this kind of situation but I know ETH will survive on this one, as well as bitcoin. The future of altcoins is still good, and no need to replace bitcoin on top.

I am sure, the future of the altcoin will remain good and the altcoin will be able to last long for the future, don't panic over the market conditions like now and still be sure that the market will slowly rise and the cryptocurrency will run normally again

What is your reason? I don't think cryptocurrency will collapse with only a small problem so I want to know why you think that way, if you say that because the market is bearish then it doesn't make sense, we know for ourselves about crypto fluctuations.

Why people these days keeps looking and asking what is the next Bitcoin and the likes? Every cryptocurrencies has its own use and has their own specialty and different purposes well it's really hard for me to summarize it but if you would like to check here's an example on what's the difference of bitcoin and ethereum

What I'm just saying is that why do people look for the next bitcoin where in the bitcoin has its own identity and use and other cryptocurrency has their own use. It's like a fork and spoon they're use to eat and bitcoin and ethereum are cryptocurrency but the fork can't be used in soups and spoon can't poke or prick a meat just like bitcoin and ethereum there are things that bitcoin can do but the ethereum can't and vice versa.

I think bitcoin will be not dead since there are so many people believe it.

But not sure about other altcoins, now there are some altcoins also have a lot of people believe them, like ETH, EOS, Ripple, Tron... Maybe they will die, but if the project sites create more landing scenes and increases the use of their altcoins, then the altcoin also maybe become the next bitcoin. I haven't thought about that yet, but if many believe that ethereum or EOS, the next bitcoin will certainly take longer or years if they want to replace bitcoin. try to see, the price comparison is still far away, so for now don't ever compare it with bitcoin. without bitcoin, altcoin is nothing.

Yes, I strongly agree, Bitcoin is currently like a very expensive gem, no other Altcoin can defeat the dominance of Bitcoin, it takes a very long time to beat that Bitcoin. Because BItcoin has been accepted by everyone in this world.

Yes i too agree, Altcoins have to be most curious on the coins in terms of development of new coins using BlockChain and coins to be scam free. If these qualities are there in altcoins surely it will develop and be the good competitor in the crypto market. Few Altcoins are growing in the market like ETH,Ripple,NEO etc has some potential after BTC to attract investors.

People have different views though. While you say bitcoin and eth may further collapse, I saw a random post with different view. That bitcoin may be undervalued and oversold. I just can't find the link now but I have agreed to that than this.

I dont agree with you about Bitcoin, Ethereum and EOS will not collapse. There is no next bitcoin and will not be. Many people saw the big decreasings and after that thought Bitcoin - Ethereum - EOS will collapse or die. We stay on top coins we will not regret.

The future of the altcoin will be able to last a long time and I am sure of that, now all the coins go down but it doesn't mean that altcoin will be destroyed, of course it takes time to recover, and we must be patient for all to rise again

you forgot to say "why" you think that. for example i believe bitcoin is going to continue to grow and in about 2 years from now it will be worth more than $100k.
as for ETH i believe it will fail in next 2 years with a lot of fork wars, a big bloated blockchain, centralization of its nodes and a couple of exploited bugs leading to millions of dollars lost again.

I think there is no altcoin like bitcoin. And a lot of altcoins going to shit. My favourite altcoins are Neo and neo based tokens. I am looking for EOS nowadays. I think some altcoins will increase their project, important thing is which one ?

Many altcoins are created, but many will die, so each coin has its own future in accordance with the developer's team and the community.

Wow that is a brave response. If you look at existing data it might be possible to say that Bitcoin and Etherum will never end. I said that because the two coins had such high marketshare. So I think that what you say will never happen. Bitcoin and Etherum have very good quality levels and they will last a very long time. Both are very favorite coins and have a very good market share at the moment. Believe that what you say is a mistake.

First of all, Bitcoin is not an Altcoin, also Ethereum is the next most stable thing because it is the most used cryptocurrency so far in the current era, or in our place. Not sure on other parts of the world though.

Why you're against with bitcoin? Does it mean the downfall of bitcoin price is your basis that this will collapse? I don't think that their is any altcoins that can manage to beat bitcoin in marketcap. Bitcoin is still strong coin even if the price suffer to go lower than 80% of ATH and it's proven that it can bounce back at the right time.

yeah, ethereum also have an enormous share of the smart contract market, it would be very hard for competitors to surpass ethereum because it's usually go to for new tokens, also their smart contract already produced alot of good coins, take a look at tron, it came from ethereum smart contract and left to improve the coin better .

I not sure how you made your observation but I think ethereum and EOS are among the top altcoins dominating the crypto market. Ethereum is still the top choice among ICOs and despite its downturn and the bearish market, it has still managed to stay among the tops coins to invest and hold. Same is also happening to EOS.

When talking about alts can collapse, ETH is certainly on the list. Ethereum is the base for every ERC-20 tokens out there. And for the other altcoins, time will really tell which ones that will survive. Basically, most projects that have nothing to show in the next couple of years will just die off.

I think Ethereum, Eos and Bitcoin don't collapse, down the price of cryptocurrency is normal, now it can collapse in a few moments going up, talking coins that will replace bitcoin is not there, because bitcoin will still be the parent of cryptocurrency.

The future of altcoins can't be determined because day by day altcoins,ethereum , bitcoin prices are falling down instead of OK increasing hence many investors,traders fear bitcoin and altcoins also.

I think Ethereum or Bitcoin Cash will be the next crypto currency that will be leading the crypto market. No other currency have potential in my opinion. I do not see any new promising project for a new crypto currency. I have not seen any successful ICO from last 6 months. Some were fake, some are saying that we will refund soon and some are not responding.

Bitcoin has spread throughout the wallet. The total supply of Bitcoin is very minimal making the price of Bitcoin continue to survive.

Bitcoin is Bitcoin and that's alone is enough to make it never collapse, and for Ethereum the majority of tokens are running on Ethereum network so I really doubt it will just collapse.

Anyway, my take here is most of altcoins will not survive as they really don't have any use cases even in the future, I will not name any coin as there are thousands of them but I'm not saying that there will be only few cryptocurrencies in the future because there are still developers that will want to have their own coin with better ideas. Firstly Bitcoin is not a altcoin. And I don't think Bitcoin gonna collapse this soon. Bitcoin hold more than 50% marketcap of hole market. The scalability problem txn problem and many more. But now ethereum devs announced the upgradation. So I think ethereum will rise again. Majority of us did not just bitcoin, we also found the many altcoins in our quest to explore the internet of digital coins. Most of these coins are very promising and they also provide a real life solution to the internet user. I really like the ethereum blockchain for their easy to execute contracts that can be used in real world. There are many coins that I see to have a brighter future so altcoins in general, have a bright future.

Altcoins is an altcoin, it means it is an ALT of Bitcoin that no one can replace Bitcoin. Among all altcoins, I saw that Ethereum was leading on them but all altcoins were swinging also when the price of Bitcoin was dropped. Having a good opportunity that probably boom is Ethereum I like this technology most like ICO project used to purchase token.

That must be the bitter truth. Yes, more than 80% of altcoins also not having any proper reason for their existence. They are simply copy of some other coins and being bumped to attract investors and they may get dumped at any time up to the level it will get delisted from exchanges. Moreover, all the altcoins are simply depending on bitcoin's performance. In recent times, waves showed a independent rally but right now it is also trading along with bitcoin's price movements.

In some other discussions people are looking for investing into top 80 altcoins. Here, I am not having any personal opinion into them but we are all having multiple choices to diversified our portfolio if we are deliberately looking to have altcoin based investments. I mean to say we can ensure our bright future through altcoins as we are having multiple choice to choose from. But, we must need enough time to do researches for choosing right altcoins.

Even though there are many fake Airdrops, we can't say that Airdrop is bad because there are some original ones.
In my personal opinion If I was cheated or failed in Airdrop it was a risk that I knew from the beginning because Airdrop was a free coin so it was natural that it was a scam.

I really don't think either will collapse and the reason being that there are many projects that are being built to both strengthen and improve both platforms. We are seeing things such as Lightning Network, interoperability applications soon to launch even projects that are utilizing the Ethereum ERC20 token to make a long lasting well-rounded cryptocurrency such as Ampleforth.

I know a lot of people are spooked becausde of the bear market but this is where true innovation will be brought on before we start to see that bull run again.

I can't see the reasoning for this at all. BTC dominates the market, and of course things can change in future, but good projects in crypto don't stand still, and BTC has plenty of potential for further improvements. Same for ETH - smart contracts will surely be huge in the future, and ETH leads the way on this by some distance.
EOS I've never liked, mostly because of that ICO - but it still can't be ruled out as something that will perform well in future.

What makes you come to this conclusion. i do not think so. the market capitalization of bitcoin and ether is hard to surpass. they have been tested for a long time. They are the best coins. altcoins can't go beyond them.
