That was a very impressive prediction man but to tell you honestly, December 2017 bull run will never gonna happen the same way again. IMHO Bitcoin price would play around 8k to 12k in the coming years.And one thing for sure Bitcoin will stay forever.

For the later part of 2018 I have seen many posts throwing a lot of negativity towards Bitcoin and crypto in general.  It feels as if someone (or a group) will greatly benefit from causing people to dump their bitcoins.

It’s so unpredictable.  I just hope it gets to $10k usd.

I think that it’s silly to guess what the price will be, and why predict at all, and fantasize big numbers, or what will be the collapse of Bitcoin. All you need to know is that anything can happen, and the main thing is to be ready for it.

it is very big nominal. in calculations, I assume that the most rational numbers are in the range of 7,000USD to 10,000USD. 35,000USD is a value that is too impossible to happen. but it is not impossible because bitcoin often gives surprises, maybe only about 10 percent will happen. the rest is that bitcoin will still move around the 10,000USD price range. this value is enough if you see what happened this year. positive changes will make much better changes.

Again started.....30K$  :o impossible, I think next bull run will happen at least after 5 year. In 2019 my prediction is between 10K$ to 12K$. It's just a blink guess, I have no logical reason for this.  :-\

I don't think there will be a 35k-40k bitcoin at the end of 2019, the increase in bitcoin will not be that high, and I think the price will range from 7k-8k.

Going on the history we have to work with, 2019 is going to suck. Could bottom sub $1k, more likely sub $2k at least. Not sure what the poster of this thread is going on, hope maybe?

Could be even worse, I plan to buy more 2nd qtr no matter what.

What you expect for 2019, sad to say is unrealistic. Also, no one knows what will be its price for the whole year and your expectation can also become to reality but chance is minimal.

We are done with these predictions and whatever the predictions are, bitcoin is full of surprises it can be positive or negative. My advise is dont have high expectations.

$10k+ by the end of the year easy. i am not counting on bakkt rescuing the price of btc, but it can't be denied that there is plenty of interest by deep pockets or it just would have been ignored. i think the bull run this time will be fueled by scarcity.

I’m going to say we’ll end the year between 8k & 10k. That’s based on nothing other than my own estimate though.

We cant relies our decision on our prediction because those things are not reliable because we made our prediction using our expectation, but yes prediction and expectation is good  because we are encouraging our self to stay firm and strong to wait the right time to use our bitcoin.

Personally, I can not predict what will happen this year because last year there are so many struggle that bitcoin faced lets hope for the better year this 2019. Many users can not predict what will be the cost of Bitcoin this 2019 even the analyst can not give an exact prediction about it.  Let's just hope that this year we will experience a good market compare last year.

Bitcoin at present is found below to the $4000, long back itself people were speculating about the recovery of the market. But, till now we haven't experienced any big price move forward. Even by new year the expected price move haven't happened. Looking upon the price move, it looks like stabilization and surely it'll grow higher at least by the first quarter of the year.

I think you are too hopeful, and if you want a price of 35k then you have to be more patient because in December 2019 it is very unlikely that bitcoin will reach 35k, because market conditions are still not stable.

I think it is more likely that in December 2019 it will reach 10k, 35k too difficult at the end of 2019 because the market will not be that easy for the market to recover.

Your prediction about the price of bitcoin will might come true if we experience another bull run in this year. $35,000-$40,000 per bitcoin is possible to happen but do not expect too much. For me, in the end this year 2019 the price of bitcoin will be around $20,000-$25,000 and there nothing wrong if you predict too much in the price of bitcoin but do not ever lose your ever whatever will be the price of bitcoin in the end of 2019.

Indeed you are totally rght abuot that we need to manage our expectation because if not at the end we could be disappointed which is we need to avoid that. Its jot bad to predict the market the things we do. Sometimes we need to predict to calm ourself to the current market price. We can also one of those people who are relying to the prediction of th community.

We can predict any price but its too hard to say that it will going to happen so don’t depend on that. There’s a lot of good reason for this market to pump again and hopefully we can finally see the bull run. My prediction is that, this market will make a new all time high because we will recover from a big fall last year and we are going to spread more about this market around the world.

no offense, but you are dreaming too loud, this is a price impossible to be reached this year, I would say that we can reach $ 12000 to $ 15000 maximum if we are lucky that some ETF is approved and BAKKT is a great success. because if we do not have an approved ETF and BAKKT is not a big success, then we will at most reach the $ 7000 by the end of the next year

I don't want to make too many predictions, but I'm sure if the market conditions this year are far better than last year.

Can't say really if that is accurate because during at the end of the year there is more holidays and lots of people getting ready to prepare for something. So, i expect that December will be the time of price corrections and maybe a starts of the bear market. On the hand, if Bitcoin reaches a new ATH and will go up higher than its previous ATH, then the possibility will end up at that price.

That's an exaggeration. Also it's possible but I don't think that we can reach the number at the end of this year. Imagine that's 10x of what we have right now so the big question is where is the money going to come? Institution investors? Possible, but we all know that they are not holders and won't dump as soon as they hit their exit plan. I would put a conservative estimate of around $6000-$8000. Yes, I know it's too low but I don't want to expect something big so that I won't get disappointed at the end.

In December 2019? I think we can have at least 15,000$ or maybe even 25,000$ but only if new investors will come and will insert an important amount of money during 2019, and if this will happen we can have over 30,000$ during year.

Currently the value of BTC is around $3900 which is good sign we are seeing the value not gone below $3000 from past six months. For sure the value of BTC will reach around $8000 or more before Dec 2019. I believe Crypto is going to pump again with good results especially the price of Bitcoin and ETH.

You mean in next 12 months, we are going to see only $8000 levels ? I do not think so. Because, bitcoin is known for quick jumps on any positive news. Yes, the entire bitcoin market is looking for a positive news to happen and anything if happen then we may have prices above $10k levels for sure. At the same time, I am also believing there will be a less chances for prices to fall below $3000 levels as there are enough investors to support bitcoins.

Very much possible as I am also believing into new investors. I study few exchanges and the trading volume is not having any significant improvement but volume is good like what we had in 2016 and 2017. It means we got more investors but need more money flow. I guess more money flow will be possible only from financial institution's contributions.

$35,000 - $40,000 I'd like to predict same price as yours but we're living in real world. As of the first quarter, I predict bitcoin will hit $5,000 and think of it on how many months we'll stay price range of $3,800 - $5,000. We can at least hit $10,000 again up to $15,000 but your prediction is just too much for me. I want to see that suddenly so I can plan on my next vacation somewhere offshore. Well, we can't predict exactly and the market is very unpredictable.

The volume during December, 2017 was much less compared to the volume in December, 2018 and less volume took it very high but the only reason it went up was because everyone was interested in earning from it and the only way someone could earn through it was by buying low, selling high. After the launch of futures, many people involved themselves in the activity of shorting and earning more over people's speculations through the leveraged positions opportunity. Stops were getting hit hard but I saw that the accumulation was there as well, and so I believe that if this Bakkt hype could really turn the tables (and being very practical as well as realistic in my prediction), I see BTC crossing the super stable value of $6k which it held for a longer duration, and then, after breaking that level, it'll break at least the most hyped price of 2017, i.e.; $10,000. Whatever comes above will be a bonus, but this is the least I see if everything goes right and regulations don't stop us from using our rights.

I think you will change your prediction by June which I think it's too high for bitcoin to rise that level. I will lower my prediction to make it realistic as it could be enough to reach $10k - $15k by Dec 2019.

we are easy to guessing but if it really predicts with everything that happens to human life as a whole in this world.. it's still difficult to predict with certainty, price fluctuations that are very easily influenced by various things are still difficult to predict for sure. Lol thats too high for the next year,because for me as what I observed according to the movements and charts,bitcoin price will continue on this year 2019 ,.my prediction is the total recovery will happen in 2020 meaning one year after this 2019

Your predictions are about double the current ATH but most of the people here are speculating about more sideways markets throughout this year. I'm really getting disappointed on hearing this type of speculation but we cannot simply ignore those speculations as in the past, bitcoin had reacted in that manner after heavy downfall. My speculation is about having half of ATH, that is around $10k by end of this year 2019. This does not mean I'm not optimistic about the future of bitcoin but we need strong positive news to have bitcoin around $40k, lets see what will be happening.

If the market will not be in sideways, I believe this will be another exciting year as we may have positive markets. I believe positive market is much better than anything else because you do not need to get frustrated even you will not be having a new ATh.

I think the increase in bitcoin in 2019 will not be able to exceed 10k, I still doubt that the market increase will exceed 10k with conditions that have not been so stable for now, but in 2020 bitcoin will reach 15k.

That seems like a price that is very high when the price of bitcoin is not giving any indication that we will see such an explosive growth, you are asking for an increase in the price of 10x and I ask myself of where that money is going to come from? Because that money will not simply appear, someone needs to invest their money and with the disappointing performance in 2018 your prediction will not come true.

I am making this all up so I want to put a disclaimer beforehand but if you ask me this coming end of January and all of February price will force above 5 thousand dollar levels, it will probably break those levels and have something like 5.4-4.8 trends that it goes up and down (like the 4.2-3,6 it has right now) and after a while during summer it will push for above 6 thousand dollars and will either break it or be around it for a while making anything under 5 thousand a long forgot memory.

After that about November and December times it will probably be around 6.5 or 7 and not go under 6 anymore after that ever again. That is unless something crazy happens. This is my idea of bitcoins future for 2019 but of course I have no data to back this up and even if I had data to back this up it is bitcoin and all data is wrong data when it comes to bitcoin.

Where's the pump and dump there? Price is pretty strady swinging between 3.6 to 3.9k. Though i think it's a little bit more realistic to believe that just under 10k would be the end price for this year. 35k to 40k is ridiculous lol.

The thing with BTC is, it is unpredictable. This is what the market makers feel. They trick the chart readers as well. I feel 2019 will surprise all.

this is a very pessimistic prediction, if the price drops to  $1000 it will be very bad, we will see a lot of criticism coming from many analysts and news channels... People will be very agitated and very scared to buy bitcoin. fall to  $1000 will be the worst scenario and I hope this does not happen

Too much predicting will lead to too much expectation especially in the price of bitcoin. Once we predict too much price many people will expect that it will hit the price but once the price that we predict do not meet some people lose their hope so the tendency is they do panic selling and some time it may be the reason to the falling price of bitcoin.

Bitcoin will definitely increase but it won't reach 35k, we have to see a very weak market condition, and for the increase I think it will range at 7k.

I am still surprised that people are still making those kind of predictions, I could understand that people made those kind of predictions when the price of bitcoin was going up in a very fast way but now the price is not moving much and it is mostly going down so it seems completely absurd to think of bitcoin reaching such prices during the year.

well, I would rather see more optimistic people, compared to being pessimistic about future coin prices. well, I always see bitcoin prices under $ 1000, and much more. they feel pessimistic about the price of bitcoin in the future. well, I'm sure, the price of bitcoin will continue to grow, but my speculation isn't that high. maybe just above $ 7k for this year. well, that's good enough for its development this year.

In 2015, the hype was totally dead. Most people forgot about Bitcoin and the consensus was that it was destined to be little more than an obscure niche investment and currency for criminals. Then the bull market began.

That crash was fierce because no one (or almost no one) expected it, which also applies to price increases, which is why more bearishness is welcome here. It really seems that people have started to get comfortable with $3500 with how strong it holds, so we might be up for a surprise in the coming weeks or months, especially with how the first quarter doesn't really favor Bitcoin in terms of price action.

Breaking $6000 was what I needed to wake up again. I was way too comfortable with how strong the support was at that point. Everything we go through is a lesson that makes you handle the next market cycle in a much better way, so there is nothing lost here, and while it may not look like so for people right now, this experience will pay off in the future.

There was a huge difference between 6 thousand levels and the 2015, in 2015 the coin was forgot and then it stayed forgot for whole year, the spike of the price didn't happen until 2017 when the price was already going up, just because of bitcoin cash and potential of getting more in return people started to buy bitcoin, while the price was around 200-300 dollars at 2015 (compared to 1400 high at 2014) the price didn't finish anywhere near the previous high.

Compare that to 2017 where price was around 900 dollars and because of bitcoin cash it went to 2-3 thousand dollar easily and that created a wave of new investors and when they wanted in the price went higher and higher. So the 2017 increase and 2015 mild year are totally unrelatable whereas 6000 dollars was optimistic just like its optimistic now because of the SEC and Bakkt deals but the price went down because one huge whale sold his coins. Unexpected thing.

Predictions will be there and these made people more greedy but as per experts we can assume that for year 2019 BTC price will reach around 8k. There might be increase or decrease but we cannot guarantee on the price we can just predict based on some research on the market.

I think the new ATH will not be reached until the halving event, more or less in May 2020. Over the next few months, the BTC price will not exceed $6k, and at the end of 2019 we should be happy if the BTC price is $10k

My prediction about Bitcoin prices for December 2019 is $ 3500-4000. Yes exactly. I believe that during the whole 2019 the price will fluctuate within these limits - 3000-4000. Perhaps for some time it will drop lower for a while, but then return again to this corridor. In general, I do not expect anything supernatural from this year.

The price of bitcoin seems very volatile to me so I find hard to believe that the price will remain static for so long, personally I am expecting a small recovery, nothing out of this world but something close to the price we had before the price crashed even harder in November of 2018, so I am expecting a price of 6000 dollars by the end of this year which is not bad at all if you ask me.

All of us have different prediction about the price of bitcoin so being optimistic I will predict that the price of bitcoin will be around $20,000 to $30,000. My prediction about the price of bitcoin will be the new ATH of bitcoin so I will become very happy if bitcoin hit my prediction.

I think for the price of bitcoin in 2019 it will range from 7k - 8k, with poor market conditions and so many people panic, the market recovery will be very slow, and it is not possible to make jumps of up to 40k.

It's difficult to predict the bitcoin price as this will depends on the market demand and we can't compare this to previous bullrun of 2017 because for this year we don't have any good news that will start a rally. The market has become stagnant at lower level and many investors are waiting for any good news. I'm hoping that we can have more adoptions to increase the demand and make it stable at higher price. It could be a good market if the price will rise at $10k which I think is very possible for this year.

I'm not sure about your current forecast for the first month of the year, there is no good move for crypto trading even bitcoin is difficult to grow more than 4k. its current position is 3k.
a few pages predict that it will fall even more, so I think a bull will happen at the end of this year. not for the middle of the year or the next few months

I think your are saying this base on a mere assumption which may come to fulfillment or not. Though I don't think this kind of prediction will in any way help the situation of crypto currency.

I think the market conditions for 2019 are still very weak, and with the recovery at the price of 6k - 7k I think that has become a good price.

In January bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market don't always perform well and this year is not going to be an exception.  Cryptocurrencies market has a big hit last year and that has metamorphor to what we are seeing happening at this time.  Bitcoin will do well this year but were it will be will be very difficult to predict.  Cryptocurrencies market has been making surprised movements from inception and we might still expect the same this year 2019. Don't be discouraged it is going to be well.

Bitcoin doesn't move that much down. Right now it is about 3,500 dollars or around those numbers, that is something that has been around for a week or even longer now. We do not expect the price to change that frequently, the thing about bitcoin is that it doesn't move up or down that much, if you look at the number of times it moves its not that frequent.

However, when it moves it moves very quickly, so think of it like this, for a whole month it stays around the same price, than all of a sudden it goes up $25 and in a week it goes down 30% and than for another whole month it stays the same. It is not "every single day bitcoin moves 5%" or something like that. Right now it is a bit low and I would prefer it go above 4 thousand dollars and stay there for a long time instead of these prices but lets not overreact to it.

It is still difficult to predict with weak market conditions, but I think for 2019 there will be a slight recovery and a 6k-7k price will be achieved.

These figures already included of last year speculations but it did not happen as desired in which Bitcoin falls to below $4,000 which is also the all time low record since it reach its highest peak on 2017. I will think of some high price speculations only after if the ETF will be approved but for now i'm afraid it will not reach as high as $5,000 by this year.

Cryptocurrencies are said to be unpredictable and this include bitcoin. Almost all past predictions are failed so nobody can exactly predict the possible of bitcoin in the future. This bitcoin price in 2019 is likely to experience a not too much price increase, I am sure the price of bitcoin will go somewhere at a price of between $ 4000 to $ 5000 and will start to rise more than that at the end of 2019.

To me this is about what we can realistically achieve, and neither of those predictions have a real chance of happening, so I dislike both of those kind of predictions, the most realistic prediction is that not much will happen, maybe we are going to see a small decrease or increase in the price but nothing that could be considered to be too significant.

I expect something like 2017 to get repeated and market to stabilize above 10k for this year. We require some movement upwards which will help the market to capture all those years too who had being staying out considering once it will rise they will buy it.

$35,000 - $40,000 for this year? I highly doubt it will be reached. I know the fact that bitcoin is full of surprises but I can't any hint or reason for bitcoin to reach that price this year. We will be there but not for 2019, I think it's possible by 2020 onwards if it will happen for this year, many will rejoice that it's earlier achieved.

We will learn to speculate at the end of this year, your predictions are too high but it's okay if you base it. When I read your predictions, I think you just want to entertain yourself by looking at the current conditions. We will see this journey maybe the achievement is not too high.

I think that in December 2019, Bitcoin will either still be within the range of 3000-5000, or if a breakthrough occurs during the second half of 2019, its price may be above $ 10,000 by December. But, personally, I tend to the second option. I think the second option is more realistic.

As much as I wanted to see the price hits $10K again, I doubt that it can happen till the end of this year. We don't have catalyst at this point that will push it to that levels.

Heck, I won't be surprise to see the price just the same up to the end of 2019. I'm a permabull but we need to be realistic and used logic here, and we don't need to put high expectations like in 2018 so that we won't be disappointed, just saying.

Looking at the current bitcoin situation, I am happy and quite happy, because the movement of bitcoin is not worrying and seems to be quite stable with prices falling and rising not too drastically. Your prediction is that bitcoin will be worth $ 35K - $ 40K by the end of 2019, maybe a little too high. because I see the movement of bitcoin starting in Q2 with an estimated around $ 5K. And it will continue to increase until the end of 2019. We are not hypocritical that your predictions are at least very many who will be happy if that really happened at the end of the year. but I estimate it might be only $ 17K by the end of this year.

This bitcoin prediction does not need to be high, we follow the path that occurs, possibly $ 3000 to & 5000, but if there is positive news that can increase the price of bitcoin then the prediction will be better. Yeah i have the same sentiment here. I wouldn't say that 10k by end of the year is more realistic than staying in the current price range. For me, at best we could probably be in the 8k region by the end of the year but that's already stretching it a little bit. And i also am not complaining if we stay stagnant through the whole year. Probably best to get used to that scenario.

I hope your predictions do not hurt you, but I would think the price of bitcoin at the end of 2019 would at least touch above the price of $ 6000 to $ 8000, at least that already shows a good price to see it return high in 2020

35 to 40 is really a lot, I mean A LOT , that is over 10 times what it is right now. Do you guys have any idea how much money needs to be put into bitcoin just to justify that type of price? It is surreal for now. Can it happen? Sure it has happened during the 20 thousand peak before why shouldn't it happen again. However, just because something is capable of existing doesn't mean it will.

Mathematically it can achieve that but people are not that much fond of bitcoin anymore to increase it that much. Maybe with time bitcoin will get back that hype from the people who left and newer people as well and the price of dollar will devalue due to inflation enough to get there but its not going to be as soon as December of this year, it will probably take years before it reaches there.

Maybe he's dreaming of that price but we need a reality check here. If we dreamed too much, we might fall in a bad way. So just chill!  ;) Be ready for whatever the future is bringing to us.

same here . i oftenly see alot of news notif when i open my browser . is see that experts are predicting that the btc value could reach over 20k usd . some even predict higher than that .  i feel good and motivated after seeing those but i dont really think that those predictions can happen this year because btc value couldnt even move in its current state , how much more reaching a new ath ?

I am thinking that bitcoin might go higher than $5000 before end of this year 2019. The market may not do too well but it is going to perform better than last year.  I strongly believe that bitcoin is going to do well in 2020 but not as it is in 2017. There this year I don't think better will cross $20,000.

Can also have an opinion if in the middle of this year bitcoin reaches $ 5000, and at the end of this year get $ 6,000. This is just a little opinion and sees the situation every quarter is certainly different, and bitcoin still needs support from various parties, let alone support from leaders other experts so that trust returns to increase.

If this year would be a repeat on what happened last 2017, then the price should be $14K plus or minus $2K when December comes. The current value tells us that the moon on December is possible. If it will continue to increase like that then the prediction will come true or even surpass the peak last moon.

Well, in as much we all believe that Bitcoin market value will be on the increase before end of the year but not to think of about $35,000 to $40,000 before end of this year. Although, anything can happen in the crypto currency market but am not optimistic that anything of sure will happen before end of the year 2019.

$35000 is actually big thing to predict. Because there are no good news yet from bitcoin itself to make it pumped. Maybe if $10000 still can predicted because this hype not like in 2017 when it reach it's peak.

We might need to give the bull 2 years more to really get to that high, I think the best price we can predict for now will be that of the second one you mentioned which is more reasonable studying the patter bitcoin is presently taking, but anything can happen, the year is not too old for those fundamentals we are yet to see come to play.

I think that the levels you are discussing are not real.
We need a lot of years to reach this prices and many resistances need to be created in order to hold the price in these levels. We are still in a very initial stage where mass adoption is on its infantry so we cannot predict such raises at this time.

That's huge but we cannot underestimate bitcoin, it has increase more than 10 times before in just one year so we should not loss that believe.
If it will repeat the past, the price now is $5,000 and if it will rise x10, that would make it to $50,000.

It is really hard to figure put what will be the price of Bitcoin when the year will end.
The price of the Bitcoins will depend upon the users who invest in it.
As if there will be more investors then the demand will be more and the supply will be less,  so this will lead to the rise of the price of Bitcoins.
So on my end i don't wanna set a number but still hop that bitcoin will rise up.

The latest increase gave a chance for $10000. But, $35000 is far from the present situation. In 2017, we saw the possibility of this volatile market. Perhaps, a little more waiting will lead us to predictable situation.

Not possible or not gonna happen. Maybe for next year when halving will happen. Every time we have halving in motion price is changing rapidly and fast. For this year to see this price is really impossible. Good sign is that price started little to recover in positive way now only remains to be seen how will it be for this year.

I agree with you, people are constantly making predictions about the value of bitcoin this year or the next month but they don't have any specific reason or evidence to create a sense of trust for everybody, almost the price they think about, all comes from infinite beliefs, dreams are very high but it will not make sense in fact, speculation about the price of bitcoin is impossible, instead of focusing on this issue, I believe we have a lot of work to do to get more profit.

That's very conservative, especially the $8K, we can make $12k and even have a new ATH.
However, we should stay calm and not too overly optimistic as that might change our attitude and we cannot be realistic with that.

This should be more realistic I think, I am not expecting the bull run fully this year until the next year, but the market will continue to remain positive and grow better and probably reach $12000 by the end of the year. Every day I wake up to bitcointalk to feed my eyes of the happenings in crypto, I see a lot of positive developments that keep giving me the assurance about this year and next year.

Within January and now, at least I have counted about 10 big upcoming projects that will create a very big pump n price of Bitcoin once they become fully implemented this year or latest before the end of next year.

What analysis did you use? Only see at the movement price up and then you have a confidence bitcoin will continue to up so I think it's a predict that doesn't use an analysis. Whilst, if you do a predict of the bitcoin price you need to use at least with two analyst, although to predict a price for long term I tend to use fundamental analysis.

I'm being not too optimistic and too pessimistic in the current situation of bitcoin. There were many professional predictions saying that bitcoin will end up as $10,000-$15,000 this year. And I'll go with that prediction. I think that prediction is pretty reasonable.

There is no surety. I would say that there is a significant chance that the prices may remain below 5K by the end of this year. But there are two major factors that could change this situation. The first one is the block reward halving, which is scheduled to happen in around 12 months from now. And the second one is the proposed mining ban in China.

My expectation is also along your line. I expect an ATH of $35k by the year end. This seems the possible price. I expect BTC to stay majorly bullish this year. If the trend that has been started already keeps intact, $35k isn't a big deal. That's low, higher than 10K please, market is not stable as we think it could pump high and that would bring much profit to us.

It will be tough for BTC to go above $30k. Market isn't that volatile like 2017. I think price will touch $25k at max. The growth will be slow and steady this year. 2017 uptrend gave really unrealistic expectations to people. The craze for crypto isn't the same now. People have been burned and won't do the same mistake again. Price will go up but nothing like before.

I would be great if BTC crosses 10K$ at the end of this year. First quarter of this year was really good for BTC it has crossed 5K$ after long time. Now second quarter will determine the fate of BTC. I don't think so it would be able to cross 12 to 15K$ at the end of this year. December 2017 was the unusual month for crypto currency and these type of unusual events does not happen daily. Stabilization of BTC will attract more investors and ultimately it will goes up.

My prediction for btc mid term is $12k-$14k. Long term it can really exceede the expectation as happened last time. But I will go for $55k. The mid term guess is chart based. But long term is probably a guess. Last time btc didn't follow the charts when chasing $19k. I believe the Same will happen this time as well.

Well, it will be really surprising if btc this year can reach to $55k. But, that price is too high it will take time for that to achieve. So, for me possible the btc price can go to $10k, who would knows it may more than that to what we did not expect.

It might be easy to make an speculation if you just look at a chart with higher time frame. but knowing that we are 8 months away from December, probably your prediction is very impossible because in the next few months we didn't even know what is coming and there might be another dump on its price and perhaps bitcoin will be having a hard time reaching for even $10000 a few months before the last month of 2019.

I think $20,000 is a reasonable 2019 threshold, but even at that price, it might be very volatile too, like it was in 2017. However, next year's halving is a big fundamental, so who knows, even $50,000 may be a reality this year.

It seems this prediction will not happen.  Looking at the current price and the time frame needed plus the resistance, it is hard to get even to $10k at the end of the year, what more is $35k.  It is best to be in a more realistic side so disappointment wont; hurt us.

Honestly I don't think we might reach 35k or 40k USD but $20k which you have suggested is pretty reasonable looking at current affairs and I am sure we will become too mainstream again like it happened in the December 2017. I am not sure about anything more than 20k USD.

It seems to me that all the above listed Bitcoin prices in 2019 are the desired prices of each person personally. 
It is impossible to predict at least 95% the exact market behavior, as well as the price of Bitcoin.

That is huge price for bitcoin , and if it is possible many will be happy with that much value of bitcoin by 2019 dec , and many will surely earn a lot of profits , not only in bitcoin but in other cryptocurrencies as well. Altcoins just follows bitcoin in value when it goes down altcoins value will also go down aswell , hoping that bitcoin will be just like in 2017 where its value goes skyrocket.

Move on, don't make 2017 a basis like the rest of the years. They were the past and we're heading to the next years which will significantly improve and will determine on how big the market is. We mostly say that we're still recovering because all of the basis now is on 2017's bull run. I expect bitcoin to go above $30k this year most probably by 4th quarter end. The volume has increased considerable in last few weeks. This shows that people are getting interested back again. Price didn't go insanely high with added volume. That's another signal that shows volume isn't  being manipulated. Lots of good signal that should take price to $10k in 2-3 months. After that it will be pretty much easier for btc to do 3x in next 6-5 months.

The price prediction you have estimated is too high as we are alreaady in mid of year and there are not any signs for huge surge in prices.If everything goes in favour of btc then we can expect price range of $10-15k by year end most probay.

Yeah and that was the most realistic price could reach for me as well, $10k to $15k. Op prediction is nearly impossible to happen without any major events. We're still at $5k and that's too much of a pump if ever. If it goes up fast, it will go down faster. I'll only expect to have a new ATH after every halving.

You might actually be right because everyone is expecting bull run to come this year, either this summer or the the end of 2019 but it's possible that's never going to happen and the real growth will start only at the beginning of 2020. This seems like a plausible scenario but anything could happen untill then.

I will be the first to say that I do not buy into resistance areas, I prefer to buy into support areas. Since the beginning of April, Bitcoin's short squeeze has pushed the price into a major resistance area that I have been pointing out to our followers countless times. The 5200 to 5800 area is a proportional resistance zone relative to the 6K level. From my perspective, the current resistance increases the likelihood of a retrace of lower levels, BUT that does not mean it will go there. Even with the current double top formation attempting to establish itself.

Here is what you need to realize: Price is lingering at a resistance. Weak markets, even temporarily weak DO NOT LINGER at resistance levels, they sell off quickly. The amount of time that Bitcoin has been fluctuating above 5K is about TWO WEEKS, all while short interest is biased to the high side. Not a good recipe for a short in my opinion. All these leveraged shorts piling in, yet no major supports are breaking. The 4930 to 5K area, is still nicely intact. Obviously the buying pressure continues to absorb the aggressive supply.

That’s more accurate because its hard to make a new ATH this year since we just started to recover. The second quarter of 2019 is the start of everything, we welcome April with a huge price and hopefully to end April with another great candle. The price is still unknown until we reach that level but let’s hope for the best price this year and keep patience.

I think it will be around $10k-$12k by the end of this year. There is possibility that bitcoin will be worth more than the previous ATH but I believe it will take few years before we see a new ATH.
