I want to dedicate my life to cryptocurrency from now till five years time and see what I can learn and make from it in all way ,is it a good path to follow? Is it wise to leave my crap job behind and be fully into cryptocurrency? Anyone on here that already did the same? How is the experience??

If you have the standards and qualities of a technician, then I think this is a bright road. Or you can make yourself a good trader. This is a very complicated business, and you have to spend a lot of time and experience to do it well. I think your choice is wise.

What do you plan to do in 'cryptocurrency'? Coding or trading? The former would be a wise career move, for the latter I would recommend you to test your abilites with small capital first before turning full-time trader.

I haven't spent all my time to cryptocurrency yet, but nearly whole my free time I spend to it and maybe in the future when this market is more stable and have more job fields, I will see it as my main job

Believed me, don't leave your current job just to focus on crypto activity. First, crypto is not to be considered as a stable job, it won't give you the regular pay to needed to put food in the table and pay your monthly bills.


I still have a regular 9-5 job. But boy, there are a lot of people who quit their job and concentrate on crypto trading way back in 2017 when everything was really taking off. Sadly though, I don't know what happen to them specially 2018 was a complete opposite. So I advise you not to go that route. Just try to work day in day out and be patience. You can even have a regular job and enjoy crypto trading as well because they're doable.

Well i think that is better to start gradually if you want to enter in this crypto world.Start investing in BTC and other Altcoins but at the same time keep your job because as you can see the market is very unstable and you never know when you can lose all your investments.After that if the things are going well you can quit your job but before that create an emergency found where you can deposit a quantity of money just in case, like..if things don't go well in the market.But again, don't quit your job, you can do just in the moment when you are sure that you can support yourself just from the crypto world.

I'm not full time with crypto but I've been dedicating my time almost full time to it but I never left my day job. If you think that you can sustain your life full time with crypto, try it and decide if you can live with it for 5 more years.

Firstly, I want you to know that it is good to be diversion in terms of business or investment cause if one seems not to be doing good the other will be. However, crypto market is full of up and down situation.
Secondly, I admire the fact that you choose to learn about crypto but you shouldnt quit your old job cause you can actually do the both since crypto dont require all your hours expect you're planning to be full time trader.

I can share my little experience. I left my main job and shined a crypto. When the market was bullish, I received a lot of money, several times more than I would get in the office. But now the situation has changed, the market is bearish and I get almost nothing. Therefore, do not leave your main job. In the evenings after work, you can spend a few hours of crypto.

Dude, you can even take another job instead of just staring at your monitor for five years. Do some real life to not to get bored.

I will not advise anyone to leave all the things he/she is doing to focus on crypto. you can do crypto as part time to add to your income but never a full time. You see crypto can not be rossy for life. Just as you can see what everyone is saying about the market. Nobody knows what future hold for crypto. It is almost a year now that crypto market has witness persistence decline in the number of investors. Bounty hunters that use to work and earn decent amounts are now earning peanut. you can work for full 3 months and earn less than $30 provided that you do not even end up not getting pay due to scam and other related issues

This is stupid, why do you want to spend everything for Crypto? Don't be so stupid because things are not like the daily dreams you see. Don't hope for things that are risky like Crypto, find a stable job with a source of income that can sustain you.

I do hope that the OP will heed the call of this community not to leave his job. Although its a crappy job as you have described it, you don't want to be in a position that you will regret later in your life. Of course you're the one who's going to make the final decision, but just remember that crypto involves a very high risk, a risk that you might unable to mitigate. So be smart and always think not just your future but your family as well. Just try to persevere with your current job and save as money as you can.

Don't completely depend on crypto market because you will earn or might not earn daily so better keep crypto as second option. Just secure on good job which pays you regularly in order to run the life smoothly and don't invest all the money on crypto coins. I always think leaving a real job for crypto is careless, especially when crypto is experiencing bitter times like now, and I don't think it only happens this time but there will be many times happen. Even what is happening now is the opposite, some people seem stop for a while from crypto business.

If you really wishing to be fully dive in crypto world, then you need to learn as much information as possible about the cryptocurrency. I believe you could get something in return if you are able to be patient and keep on learning. That's what i think.

I would suggest by starting writing.
You can not get a "job" at writing that easily since you need some background and pay is very little but even if you are not English and your English is not perfect you can use grammar and try to apply to news websites. If you can get to writing there at one point even for free than you will build up some sort of name for yourself.

If your name comes up in crypto searches thanks to the news places, you can go back to basics and start to build network, you can try to find more writing jobs but the ones that will pay this time, you can write on your twitter, you can write here, you can make a discord or telegram group and basically get your name out there.

I think this will prove to be a good decision if you have save enough money for the next 2-3 years as a backup, If you don't have backup money then first save some money in your Ac to meet out your all expenses for the next 2-3 years. Man, according to my experience when I left job at the beginning of 2018, I would suggest to keep your job! Yeah, just get experience, get your salary and in additional time learn crypto currencies. After several years you can get involved more deeply in crypto, but at the beginning don't do it

You just made your life's important decision and in my opinion, it is a right now. I must appreciate you. It is not too late to get into cryptocurrencies but you have planned for only next 5 years but I like to suggest you to have plans for your rest of life too.

I started my crypto life by 2013 and I believe I may keep holding some of highly reputed coins for my entire life and will inherit them to my next generations too. I guess this is the right way everyone should follow because this way I have found my life style improved a lot.

I only want to second his idea to affirm it. Cryptocurrency is a marathon it may take longer time to learn some other things. If you brought enough money to the space you will still need some fund for daily upkeep for at least 18 months before you can boast of good profit. Bounty can be rewarding but it is not advisable to join bounty dumpers, cause if you dont have enough fiat with you there is no way you wont be bounty dumper. Good reward for bounty is only for high members, which is now a difficult rung to climb.

Someone did this, he leave his stable job and depend on cryptocurrency and now he’s suffering from a big problem financially. I’m not saying all the people who did this are suffering, there are few who succeed but its too risky. Better to keep working, and save some money before you quit your job and study cryptocurreny to trade better.

You would better dedicate your life to study and learn blockchain technology and you will sure learn a lot of staff about Cryptocurrency because mainly Cryptocurrency is built on Blockchain technology. You already had decided by calling your current job a crap job and I guess you will soon leave it behind. I think its fair to say that you might not land a good job in crypto other than being a bounty hunter as well.  If you are good at writing articles, that can be a great skill to monetize in this field.

I do not think it will be possible being a bounty hunter will be enough for finding survival. Because, almost 90% of bounty programs had turned scam even if they had paid out, that must be worth in cents for 3 to 6 months of hard working. It would be too hard to survive in this crypto space as bounty hunter because the current market condition is too bad and due to that ICO industry are not up to the mark to support a bounty hunter.

I agree writing skill is always a highly paid and mostly demanded one in this forum but now a days I am seeing a lot of writers are competing each other hence it would be again too hard to find out right opportunities. Even there would be some opportunities that might be occasional one and cannot be sure about continuous chances.

From your first 2 post made by you I am considering you want to devote your full time as bounty hunter. Bounty hunting is not as it's used to be earlier as there were not huge competition amongst the hunters. With the boom in cryptocurrency market the number of hunters rised drastically and also the number of scam ICOs rised. Still there are legit project in the market but they don't pay hunters rewards on time because they fear dumping of their token on exchanges and hold the coins of hunters for 3 to 6 months with their silly excuses. I would suggest you to stick with your job and do this work in your free time only because this whole market in unpredictable and anything can happen. But if you do your job there will be always chances of getting stable payment monthly out of which you can invest extra money on trading which you can digest of losses occured unluckily.
Also try to take advantage of free social media like YouTube, mainstream cryptocurrency websites to boost your knowledge. This will improve your confidence about cryptocurrency market.

I think it is a great decision, because once crypto gets mass adopted, such jobs are going to be very well paid. We need to hope that it is enough time for crypto to get accepted within the upcoming five years from now.

No, it will not be wise. It will be wise to stay at your current job, while simultaneously studying the crypto industry and the crypto market. Spend a few months to study, find out where and how you can earn, what entry points, what mechanisms drive the market, and only after that make serious decisions.

It is always good for people who want to start to know and learn cryptocurrency, and I am sure you can do as what other people did. But I don't recommend for you to leave your job and become fully into cryptocurrency because you need to get money for your life and your daily needs. Unless you can earn more than $1000 each month in cryptocurrency, you can leave your job and start to fully. I didn't have that experience, but almost all of my friends who still have a job in their real life ask me about that and my advice is the same as what I gave to you.

It can be opted full time job with capabilities to understand trading ,mining, bounty hunting and tech expertise and involve themselves in these activities and earn livelihood.

However to focus on crypto and leave your job i don't think it's a good decision because how will you support your basic needs? Unless you have lots of savings.

OP, the path you want to thread might not be the best for you.
There are some people in the crypto space, wished they had a job they do offline, so that they can find something to fall back on , peradventure something else happens.
That does not mean crypto will crash, but its volatility is what you should put into consideration.
You never can tell if you might need to hold for long.

Since you mentioned that you have a crap job meaning you are not contented on what you are earning from it,or its just theres a comparison from What is your salary and what crypto is providing you now,if does then for sure you will be taken for consideration abandoning your job and go purely in crypto,but hear this from us ‘Leaving you regular Job for Crypto is the most Stupid thing’you may ever had in life so better stop this plan..just do your work and same as doing the crypto part you may sacrif SOme time but atleast you have a assurance for living

Now is not the best time to leave the main work and deal only with cryptocurrency. In the crypto market, it is becoming more and more difficult to make money. Therefore, do not rush to quit the main job.

I will suggest you make good establishment of a business with the crypto first before you leave.

Ill have job also but not enough salary that ill receive in every 15 days but it was a big help also for my daily life. So prefer to participate in crypto because some of my friends admire me to try and now ill earn enough but need to be careful always in crypto to those scammers.

a big NO, you dont need to quit your job, be realistic, you always need money daily to sustain yourself, for food, shelter, and bills. You need your job. You can do crypto after doing your job. Time management is the key here.

I did just the same, quitted my job and started to work at my home. That was January 2016 and i started to work as bounty hunter. Until 2017 October everything was perfect and i made quite good money in 21 months. After big market raise and crush in end of 2017 everything has changed. After that time everything started to go wrong and in bad ways. When i see the bounty hunting and trading business, all quite that specially bounty things. And also big scam situations came out and many people has lost their beliefs to cryptocurrency.. The prices wnet down like crazy and everyone still waits for the bull runs.. So i think you are little bit of late to come to this world. I wish you luck..

You should do it if it makes you feel good. Don't let others make you play a role you don't like and aren't proud of. Cryptocurrency is like any other path of career. Many people will tell you that it's uncertain but nothing is certain in life! You can lose your job tomorrow or die on your way to work.
If you really are ready to dedicate 5 years of your life to cryptocurrencies you must be very dedicated. I will have enough if the bear market lasts for another year.

Describe that crap job you have. If it really sucks and your boss keeps on shouting to you and doesn't treat you the way others should be treated well, then you have to leave that job. I left my job before when I don't get the proper treatment an employee has to. I don't go full time in crypto but I have a dedicated time for it, know your best asset that you can offer as a freelance crypto enthusiast. There's a lot of way to earn with crypto's if you just know and apply it well.
