I still imagine, how is crypto in 2050? is the usecas clear? is there still a new ICO project that appears, or is it even crypto dead? if in the year 2050 the crypto is still there, then the age of the crypto has been more than 40 years, and this is not a long time, and if you see age, crypto should have been much more developed than now.
what do you think about crypto in 2050?

I think that the cryptocurrency will be used everywhere by this time, but I also think that those coins which we can see now will die till 2050

Are you seriously? Of course it will be. In one form or another. Blockchain, no doubt, can be useful in some areas. The question is, will cryptocurrencies be integrated into everyday life or will they be underground or something else?

2050 is 31 years time, that is a along time in the life of a man, I don't think the average age of people involved in the space is up to 32years. I have a feeling crypto is here to stay but how its evolves is what I can not tell for now and looking at the number of people using facebook and the number of people involve in Crypto is just 32 million we have a huge space for growth

I would say that crypto is still alive in the year 2050. Maybe in a different form than today, but certainly blockchain will be used in the future. But that is still so long and no one can say exactly what will be then.

I think it's really stupid to go that far ahead. Go back 40 years and you would hardly have predicted what the Internet would be and what it would look like today. Similarly, it was impossible to predict the emergence of cryptocurrencies in 2008. Therefore, in my opinion, even the boldest assumptions will not be close to reality. But I am sure that if the cryptocurrency will live up to 2050, it will have little to do with its current state.

2050 is too far ahead but I think in 2050 there will be no fiat money. Just crypto. I think we should wait another 10 years probably for mass adoption and after 10 years there will be no turning back. So if you ask me not only will crypto be more developed than now, in 40 years there will be no fiat money. Why would anyone still be using fiat as an inflationary form of money when there is a much better form which is cryptocurrency.

I have not looked so far, at the moment I am interested in crypto in the near future, namely 2019-2020!

I am sure by 2050 the world will have change so much and every thing will base on technology more than now so I believe by then crypto will be more useful than it's now if another one is not introduce by then.

I do not know what to call it better, cryptocurrency or digital money. But the fact that everything is moving towards ridding the world of ordinary money in favor of digital I am 100% sure of that. But I think that the blockchain has a big and distant future.

No one can predict the future but i personally think that if crypto will remain here for so many years and thrive and gets adoption then some of the coins will be very very expensive by then we may see values like one million usd per coin and that will be epic.

I guess in that year bitcoin already legal in all countries and maybe some altcoins are died. And bitcoin might be worth $100,000 (lol). Etherium might be considered as one of the strong alts, so theres no doubt it will remain standing on that year 2050.

If we analysis crypto history till now, then definitely! I see pretty much growth in crypto from last some years like many new users are joining and many users are investing. So, it's a good sign that new users are joining crypto in which some like to do trading and some like to do bounties.

We are not God so we dont really know what could happen that year. It could be the end of the world or something better could surface.

Bitcoin might become one of the commodities or a currency. It is really hard to tell on how things would be that year.

It would be a pure speculation and nothing else to predict a tech stuff for 30 years in the future. Just look 30 years back and their predictions... I'm sure in one thing - the crypto-currencies, if they even exist, will be in a completely different manner than now and will use some quantum resistant algorithm. Current BTC, ETH, etc algorithms will be obsolete from a long time.  

I don't know if some of us will still be alive in that year, because so many things are happening every year that we should first focus on what's going to happen this year because of so many unexpected things happen we either leave or fully adopted this technology.

Who knows, no one can actually  predict the future or know what will become of cryptocurrency in 2050, even if cryptocurrency does continue to exist up till that year there would have probably been another coin beside bitcoin  or Ethereum which will have lots of potentials.

It will be there. There's a lot of interest from rich people and stock exchanges. There's also a lot of interest from very poor people who live in unstable countries and are being robbed by taxes, inflation and greedy politicians. If both the bottom and top of the food chain want in on it then it has to be good, don't you think?

As long as we have internet they will exist no matter what is the price left. Some people predicted it already that it will continue to grow in the near future and the prices would be very very high at that time. I wonder if ICO would still be a thing at that time but i think there will still some ICO because as what they say "there is always a room for progress".

I know fiat currency has been a thing for centuries (as banknotes, as coins it has been thousands of years) and crypto is just 10 years old so why would crypto be gone in 30 years, but I also keep thinking the technology aspect of the world moves so fast. We didn't have smart phones only 20 years ago, we didn't have adsl internet 20 years ago, and we didn't have VR 10 years ago.

31 years from now? I don't want think that far. I'd say to take a look closely to the daily happenings to the cryptoverse rather than focusing to the future that we're far ahead. Crypto's are here to stay and I believe that by 2050 we will see a very high price for bitcoin and people tend to support one, two or ten crypto's only as a medium of exchange.
