Title: Newbie in crypto trading
Post by: Tuxx33 on January 10, 2019, 11:21:02 PM
Hello. I need I suggestion, because I just started trading.
I have a 20 ETC, and I want to trade it, can you suggest me for what to trade it. Maybe even to just hold it?
BTW I have 0.5 ETH. And 200 ELLA, and 100 PIRL(I know that ELLA and PIRL are nothing now, just hodling it.)

Also I want to invest 200$ in crypto right now so you can suggest me something for that too.

PS: I know that this is a Bitcoin forum but I really want to hear oppinion from someone who has experience in crypto world.

I think is better to trade top 10 crypto based on market cap because the fundamental is better than others.  Price action of crypto is unpredictable and sometimes the market crash just a few minutes so we need to use stop loss and trailing stop as risk management.

You only have two option, create analysis depend your knowledge and experience, test it on real market. Option two is leave the market until have significant price action again. In this situation many people confused but I believe because they don't want to get loss and that's wrong. You know what to need to do just be brave and take action. Loss will not make people poor but not take action will create bankrupt people.

If OP wants to look for short-term gains, then trading top 10 crypto based on marketcap is not really a good strategy. The reason for that is because the larger the market cap, the price is less volatile compared to low market cap coins/tokens. But of course this doesn't mean OP should choose coins with low marketcap, that's risky too.

For OP, I think you should make a clear goal first, do you want to do short-term or mid-term trading, and after that learn what's TA and FA and their differences. In other words, build your own skill first. That's important for you because in the internet you don't know which analysis is true if you don't have the basics.

First, you need to gain some knowledge of crypto trading. For this, you can read this thread. you can find more topic about crypto trading. You can not understand all things in one answer. But i suggest you
1. don't be greedy
2. buy low price and sell high
3. always analysis before buying any coin.
4. Control your emotion strongly.

Do more research and always filter out what others have suggested. For me if you are truly a beginner then you should trade on coin coins that have potential and large trading volumes because it will reduce the risk of losing you.

Convert all of them into bitcoin, then go to coinmarket cap and see the more volatile coin in last day and pick few of it and day trade it against BTC value and vice versa we call it as day trading and you can call it as what you want.Or you an diverse your capital into bitcoin and ethereum and start selling them when price increase and buy them back if the price fell.

Except bitcoin i suggest you to make a technical analysis here (http://https//coinmarketcap.com). then pick which will fit in your strategy and by the ways for newbies always bear in mind to set up a target because that's the most important.  Long run is the best option rather than short term,  especially if you want to gain massive demand.

You want opinions, alright.

If you need to ask people where to put your money in, then you shouldn't be investing/speculating in the first place. I won't even suggest you putting your money in bitcoin. Either you do your own studies and research and make your own decisions, or you don't invest in cryptocurrencies in general at all. You shouldn't trust random people on the internet in the first place, especially with your money.

I hope you realize how stupid this is.

Clear on point. If he's really new in crypto trading better feel the market first.
Read tons of threads here discussing wide range of topics.
If he will follow whatever is suggested to him, then, he will lose his money in no time.
But the very simple mantra in trading - buy low, sell high. But what coin? That's up to you.
You need to study the coin first. It's not an easy task. Don't rush yourself in this world of crypto trading.

IMO, just focus on top 50 token in coincapmarket ,so you can try to invest more on ETH or even focus on it.
Crypto trading is unpredictable things because anything can happen so it will back questioning you, are you ready for it ?

Let say if you say yes, the result will be not same.

The cryptocurrency market is a high-risk market and is very difficult to predict. However, at the moment what is happening is a complete lottery. In my opinion, you should postpone buying / selling decisions. Observe the charts and wait for stabilization signals. When market will change the trend, then you can try your luck at trading.

You mentioned that you are just starting trading, from that may I assume you are complete new to trading or just new to crypto trading. But, an experienced trader will not start such a topic for suggestion as he must be busy on analyzing major coins for that $200. I may need to assume that you are a new trader and just entering into crypto space. In that case I am suggesting you to go for long term trading and for that bitcoin must be good to make your $200 into $2000 in nest 2 to 3 years.

Next time, please find time to mention about your skills with trading and your expectation on profit levels for your capital. Because, you simply sound like you want list of coins where you may go for investing. Still, that is not a great idea as most people suggest shitcoins and your capital will burn out in couple of months itself.

It is always better to go for bitcoins with long term basis. You will never find disappointed for adopting bitcoins whereas most other coins may not.

Be careful to decide when you need to sell and to hold the coins. Today, crypto market is in bad condition, the prices have deceased very much. So, I think it is better to hold the coins for a moment and wait till the market rises.

~snip~ Also I want to invest 200$ in crypto right now so you can suggest me something for that too. ~snip~

I suggest to invest in XRP or ETH. I assume these coins are the most potential coins to invest in 2019. However, if you have another opinion, it is okay as long as you know why you need to invest there.

Perhaps, you need to invest your money in USDT, USD, PAX or else, so you can buy any coins even bitcoin or ethereum especially when the price is down. When you can have that, you can start analyzing to find which coins that will increase or you can hold the coins for some periods time. And for the coins you have, you need to hold for a while until the market can recover so you can sell at the higher price but it will not easy because you need the patient to wait for.

If you're brand-new to trading, I'd suggest holding a large portion of your crypto portfolio (or all of it) for long-term holding (don't touch the coins at all for some time, don't sell on a sudden dip, etc) and using a smaller portion of your portfolio for when you're learning how to trade through reading instructional guides that you can find on this forum and elsewhere on the web. You're naturally going to lose some money trading at first, so make sure whatever money you're setting aside for trading you can afford to lose. Holding's easier than trading for most people, but it's also important that you don't panic sell or panic buy. This does take some discipline, but it's still simpler than trading.

I suggest try to look for ethereum and even you already have ethereum try to buy and invest more because in this coming hardfork there is a tendency that the price will spike. $200 is enough to buy few amount of ethereum and you should keep in your wallet. I think strats, waves and ripple maybe the coins for right now because they have stable price.

I think it's better if you will just hold it and wait for the right timing to sell, the bull run will eventually come but we need to be patient.
Trading these days is hard, especially if you are a newbie, I suggest that you do not go against the market you'll only lose.

The right timing to trade is during the bull run, it gives you a better chance to reach your goal to make money.

During the bull run that is the best to do in trading, In trading, after you do the analysis fundamentally and technically, that doesn't mean that you can have the chance to get the win trade. Sometimes, the price varies in an unsudden way. If you really wanted to learn to trade, do not be feared for some loss. Risk it. Try to trade with a real market and use all your skills and experience. If it's not enough, learn and study. These are the things I would advise you to do. Disappointments will always be there but you have to embrace and learn from it. Trading is not easy stuff but if you have the passion, the trading industry will work for you.

to trade or invest, of course, you as a beginner must do research in advance about the coins you want to buy, and to trade the day you must follow the process from the beginning, do not obsess first with great profits, experience and learning to trade well that is my suggestion .

When bull market started mostly all crypto will going up but some of them will be give the highest ROI, and i think for next bull market XRP, XLM, TRX will be give the best profit. So i sufggest to invest above coin for medium or long investment according to your target profit.

You should be know first how to minimize the risk from wrong trade because in each open potition will be not possible all of that will make profit , but some of that will be failed trade. So you have to understanding how to use stop loss in crypto exchange, this is the most important thing in trading and apart of risk management.

ETC is good to hold, so you can hold it if you don't like to trade. Another hand trading could be a risk for you because you are new in the crypto trading market. So, before trading, you should learn more. And You can buy some XRP or Bitcoin by your $200.

You can look at ETC's exchanges and its available pairs at coinmarketcap. Its usual pairs are BTC, ETH and USD, but there are also other pair wherewith you can exchange it like BNB and XRP. But if I were you, I would choose ETH, XRP or BNB. With these options, you'll have broader scope to play with in the market and to make gains.

Since ETC was attacked 51%, I recommend getting rid of this coin by exchanging it for BTC. As for further trading, you should study the market yourself in order to understand its mechanism. As soon as you determine this, buy BTC and start trading.

What is certain is that we must have the ability to do trading. Our knowledge and skills will increase when we have experience. I think we have to keep trying to trade to get that, when we fail then we have to keep trying. Don't give up because by continuing to trade our experience will increase and be honed. Believe in ability because with this we will get closer to success.

Most of the time users get into trading with the expectation to profit big in a much shorter time period. They need to realize, such a possibility is low. If the basic plan is to learn more about the market and then if he/she intend to take part into trading practices will get you good about trading.

They had this thinking when bitcoin started to pump its price last 2017, wherein you can gain huge profit from bitcoin because of such a high volatility rate. Now I've been browsing on this section and seeing a lots of trader are complaining why they can't make a profit or why they are losing. Its time now to realize the market capability of rapid increase and decrease in short time.

Buying NPXS could be considered one of the best decisions watching that they are now allocating all their tokens in the next 3 months. So after the distribution completes, I feel like Pundi X can gain back its momentum and go back 10 - 15x once again. I have studied their project very deeply and it looks like it will not take longer for this to take off once again. Don't forget that Pundi X burns their coins each time there is a transaction done.

Well, first of all I am happy for you that you decided to start trading. Trading will really be helpful to you specially if you traded or invest your money to the right crypto to be used for trading. You will really gain profits from it. Check the currency market now. You can try to check in coinmarketcap. Then you will have a list of cryptos you will choose for trading. Since almost all crypto are within the red line now, then try to invest to ICOs.

I want you to know that even you have a huge capital as your starting point in trading, if you don't have any knowledge all of it will be useless at the end  for sure. You need to begin with studying first, you cannot go in a battle war if you don't have any training which you need to undergo for it first. Same goes with trading, feed yourself first about the idea and knowledge in crypto currency.

You should be know first how to minimize the risk from wrong trade because in each open potition will be not possible all of that will make profit , but some of that will be failed trade. So you have to understanding how to use stop loss in crypto exchange, this is the most important thing in trading and apart of risk management.
absolutely right and I agree with you because to have a very good and fast success trade must deepen the knowledge of the crypto world because of the big risks. so you also have to be patient and never panic when the market goes down because if you panic it will make you lose money

200 $ enough to start crypto trading. But I would say that you are absolutely new, so start with 100 ৳ without starting at Tk 200. Cause crypto may cause damage at trading. Because you're just new. There are some rules for crypto trading that you have to comply with. If you do not comply with rules, crypto trading may be harmful. To start crypto trading, first 4-5 coins will be selected. Remember, crypto trading can never be done with just one currency. And always will not have to worry about profit. Because crypto trading may be a loss. And if the damage cannot be frustrating. Rather, be patient if you have to suffer. If you can successfully make crypto trading, you will definitely get the benefit. Thank you

So this is nice suggestion mate because most of time new traders use to sell for panic as when they see price is falling they get emotional and before trading we are told by expert traders to have patience and never get emotional as in treading emotions only discourages so newbie’s should have patience and choose only promising coin, don’t trust blindly, better to trade for long term only.

PS: I know that this is a Bitcoin forum but I really want to hear oppinion from someone who has experience in crypto world.
trading in cryptocurrency field will always difficult so choosing the best currency for first experience will helpful you to learn something better than reading about it make the practical work will be the way to get 100% experience in this field so newbie should definitely investor the best currency only for getting the positive result.

I think is better to trade top 10 crypto based on market cap because the fundamental is better than others.  Price action of crypto is unpredictable and sometimes the market crash just a few minutes so we need to use stop loss and trailing stop as risk management.
therefore, for beginners, what is needed is a lot of knowledge about the crypto world, because the risk in crypto is large. so for beginners understand first about the world of crypto trading more clearly

There was more specific question asked actually. So I suppose just 'learn more or it could be risky' is just hilarious answer...

Regarding the matter. Try ETH and ETC as trading using technical analysis (in case no news are coming of course).
Try to use support and resistance concept or some indicators like Ichimoku.

Have a simple start. Start with $100. Go with BTC, ETH, XRP in the beginning. Get your own experience. You will certainly gather experience. Start with the  best exchange which cost you with less transaction fees. Certainly there will be ups and downs. Keep studying the market. Try to invest more time as well besides money.

Cent accounts are more affordable than wasting money and time on real platforms. Newbie traders always tend to make mistakes but all these mistakes teach a very valuable lesson. Veteran traders are against to start trading account without proper knowledge and skills.

Small capital while you’re on the process of studying how to trade is a good idea because it can allow you to lose small money only. If you don’t make any effort on learning how yo trade then you cannot succeed on that. Trading is not about making money, its also about spending more time with the chart.

Spend more time on studying than to focus much on the possible profit. No matter what you capital is if you are not knowledgeable enough about trading you will still lose it. Start small but always dream big, start woking now and have a brighter future with your trading decisions.

For me, you're wasting your time to analyze other token that still not have great prospect.
Except you're really believe on it just like I did on bitcoin and ETH as well

If you have investor thinking, I recommend that you buy Bitcoin and wait until Bitcoin goes up, it can be a long time. If you want to be a market speculator, I recommend that you study a lot so that you understand how the market moves. Being an investor, you should only review the price, the idea is that you have the availability to wait, and if you want to win as the market advances, it is what I call a speculator, the difference lies in this way, the speculator he is always analyzing movements to see how he can predict or react and thus win.

I will not recommend you because I want you to create your own investment plans and strategies. Successful investment will greatly depend on your differences. Trust in yourself when investing. That is the most important thing.

I think what you need to do first is just get some information that is related to trading and don't trade when you don't have enough knowledge to use. You must know the supports and resistances, different indicators used in trading etc. I'm not expert in trading but when I first invested in trading, I lost all of them because I don't know the indicators that are often used in trading. I tried to learn indicators and now, I'm gaining profit even though its a small amount only at least I'm gaining.

I will have no idea about the altcoins you have invested. Your $ 200 should invest in FET or BTT. It is 2 tokens that have just been listed on Binance and the price of the new FET is only x4. It went to the floor 30 minutes ago and this is a good time to buy it before its price x15.

Its not easy to trade even if you have the money because your decision is very important. Look for guidelines on how to trade properly, learn every steps and you can be good. We all once a newbie before, some traders succeed some are not its your choice where you want to go.

If you want to learn trade, try to daily trading, you will get a lot of knowledge in daily trading because you have to keep an eye on market fluctuations so that you can know the price developments. Choose the top 10 coins in the coinmarketcap, this is a coin that has good development and you will be easy to be able to make a profit rather than you choosing uncertain coins. The most important thing is that you can control your emotions and keep learning because at each situation the fluctuations will be different so it is necessary to learn. If you only want to hold a choice of coins such as bitcoin and ethereum, this is more profitable for the long term.

When bull market started mostly all crypto will going up but some of them will be give the highest ROI, and i think for next bull market XRP, XLM, TRX will be give the best profit. So i sufggest to invest above coin for medium or long investment according to your target profit.
This is nice. I too speculate about the price rise of XRP, ETH and BTC in the next Bull Run. There are reasons given by top crypto analysts on CNBC why should the Bull Run happen in 2019. And they are valid reasons. Keeping the current low market value in mind, one could speculate the future and invest today for the big profits in future. This is what I think about the profitability of cryptocurrency.

Yes indeed daily trading is very difficult, I also feel that. But if you get used to you will get a lot of experience and learning, this will be useful for beginners. By daily trading, beginners will be accustomed to seeing market developments, emotional management, and time management. The most important thing is to be routine and patient, this will get profit and gain a lot of knowledge over time.

But very rarely newbie starting from these things, greed and opportunities from the market are too attractive, they always ignore sincere advice and rush to find success but failure has come and knocked them

One needs to know and have proper knowledge about crypto and the coin in which they want to trade along with the major happening or events that occur in crypto space. This will give the advantage while trading so that proper buy/sell can be done accordingly in effective way. In beginning always have the limited money invested because it is easy to lose in start as being a beginner.

Once a newbie trader has learnt and understood all there is to, then it'll be safe for such people to trade.

Most newbie are not patient enough to learn every stage of trading before they start trading, Imagine a newbie who doesn’t even have any understanding of the industry at all want to start trading within 3 days. That's a good suggestion, the top 10 coins are falling actually and they are stronger coins compared to the remaining coins.
Being in the top 10 means something big, developers will be more motivated to protect their standing, they are the popular in the market so that opportunity is big for the team to develop their coins for the future, so investors should look at this logic.

Yes, choosing the top 10 coins that falling right now in the crypto market is a good decision because those coins are having a big possibility to give you a huge profit in the near future due to its active development and project that attracts the investor to support this coins.

You should be know first how to minimize the risk from wrong trade because in each open potition will be not possible all of that will make profit , but some of that will be failed trade. So you have to understanding how to use stop loss in crypto exchange, this is the most important thing in trading and apart of risk management.
Nice words of advice mate, I know it’s not easy to lose money but the only way to be a perfect trader is to acquire the knowledge, put it into practice, fall by losing and rise again to become a super trader, it’s out of the experience that one learnt his lesson for it not to be repeated.

I lost to trading 2 times before I became perfect, those losses thought lots of good lessons in trading and now I am very good at minimizing risks and at the same time make money daily through day trading.

Instead of trying many coin I like to trade only with one coin which is profitable and it has good promising future, in prefer investing for long term trading and choose only bitcoin, it has high demand now a day which is pushing price ahead, I am sure very soon it will be high, try to trade for long term and keep learning about trading it will help you in future.

I think it would be better for you if you diversify your portfolio and buy 15 or 20 more established altcoins such as Neo, Monero, Nex, Cardano, Zcash, Ripple, Steller and some newly listed good altcoins. In this way, you have more chance of getting good profits in future.

I am sure best advice might have been given to you. I wouod advice you to invest the profit you may gain out of the coins. Enlarge your capital. Do not tend to withdraw your profits untill you are sure that you have enough capital. This will lead you to be a big and successful trader.

Common mistake what beginner do is that they just stick on their capital, ive notices that they just want a small capital yet expecting a huge profit. I doubt some of beginner only came just to make short income.

Majority of the new listed altcoins are not doing well and most of them may die and therefore I will say op should focus on those coins that have good technology and team and at the same time are well established.  Those coins you have mentioned are really good for investment and that is if op has decided to diversify his portfolio.  The ethereum classic he is currently holding is a good coin and might just need patience in other to turn that into fortune in future.

I believe that the crypto is trailing at lower levels now and we can expect a slight recovery with some volatility in the price within the next few months. I believe that there will be many entry and exit opportunities in the market thus at this point, diversification in top 10 cryptocurrencies would be a good deal considering short and extra long term. I will not recommend the exact names but there are some good points in the top 10 list according to the market capitalization.

you should remember that practice makes perfect.
get ready to read a lot and practice a lot.

first of all decide what coins you are planning to trade (choose major ones).
find sources where you can check news for this or that coin (3-4 websites).
then try to follow coin price and the news. try to understand because of what news price move this or that direction.

I think you should use $ 200 to invest in BTT. The value of the coins is going down and investors will take this opportunity to buy ETH and BNB to buy more BTT.
You can invest pair BTT and BNB. Your profits will receive from 5-12% during this investment. But wait another 10 hours, the red candle will stop and you should buy it right away.

No matter how experienced we are now, we were once a newbie also. So everyone experience this stage. The important thing at the early stage of trading is to learn from your mistakes and try not to repeat the same mistake again and again. If you are able to understand and rectify your mistakes, you will one day will become the good trader.

If you are a newbie then you do not need to think about many things about the existing strategy, you just need to try to be able to make a profit. Whatever benefit you get it won't matter, when you get a very small profit it can be used as a lesson and experience. A trader must learn many things, but for a newbie then you have to start from the most very simple thing.

BTT, like any other ICO is risky for any kind of investments, short or long term. I`m not so familiar with tron network, but as I know with holding trons you get some BTT tokens, check that out, in that case it would be better to invest in tron and to get btt on top of that, with same investment. In crypto you need to be smart and to take as much as you can with any amount.
With 200 dollars, buy bitcoins with 100 dollars and wait next rise over 4000 dollars and collect the profit. If price drop more buy again for 100 dollars or less and wait for profit, price will go back over 4000k in period of next 30 days, what we should do now is to feel the bottom with our buying and wait for profit.

This is the wisest idea I usually give lots of people too that come to me for crypto investment advice, I ask them to divide whatever they wishes to invest into two provided it’s a money they can invest without tying a particular period of time to it, then invest part of it as a long term investment which in this regards mean keep holding till the market favors them no matter how long it may take while they use the other part of it short term trading.

Short term trading will surely be giving the interest daily, weekly or monthly provided they use right strategy which will compensate them for the time they waiting to see their long term investment yield result.

I don't think so. They should experience trading for them to know what is the fundamentals of trading and since we are all entitled to commit mistakes then there's nothing new when they lose. It is easy to look for trading guides and strategy, what a beginner need is literally a trading experience.

I think the best to do with your $200 is to buy more ETH or Bitcoin as long as market is low, you should take the opportunity to purchase tokens to hold on and just wait until the next bull run before you sell. Regards with your other tokens you should sell it and buy coins that is more efficient to bring profit.

Since a newbie is not so experienced and cannot analysis the charts properly, buying from the  top 20 altcoins  is always a save move from him. The other thing he need to learn is to hold the coins and do not panic if the price goes down. So even if the price dump from his buying, being in top 20 means that coins will recover someday and there will be no loss if he does not sell in loss.

good to trade with 100% because its an advantage that are listed at the coinmarketcap actually.

Sometimes shitcoin can give huge profits when compared to top market cap coins so for the trader market movement is more important to pick which coin we are going to trade.
I will say just pick the coin which has huge price swing range it can give more profitable trades.

Panic selling is the worst mistake newbies would ever do. The price for each of the coin is never stable and ups and downs are to be seen into their prices but what mostly happens with new traders is that as soon as they see the price going downwards, they start selling their coin in panic.

Usually even if we buy any of the top 100 coin from the CMC, they would recover some or the other day for sure because of their ever increasing demand and capitalization so in such situations, holding and setting a stop-loss is expected rather than panic selling our coins.

For me,if you're still a newbie then better study first the basics in trading and all its do's and dont's before entering into real trading.Make sure you know how to recognize those topmost potential coins so that you will know what coins to buy.And do not forget to buy them at a low price and only sell them when it hits a higher price. And avoid panic selling as much as you can because it will only make you a loser.Control your own emotions as this will not help you in trading.

The common misconception about the cryptomarket is that all coins is worth investing and holding and they make profit out of it. "Shit" coins, less volatile coin and under valued coin is not worth for a newbie and instead the high ranks coin is a must to trade as a newbie for them to experience trading and be familiarized.

Do more research and always filter out what others have suggested. For me if you are truly a beginner then you should trade on coin coins that have potential and large trading volumes because it will reduce the risk of losing you.
maybe to reduce the risk of loss start investing and trading using money that we can sacrifice, and with a small amount, this aims if we lose we do not fall too deep and try to enter the trade accompanied by a teacher, or a friend or relative who already understands the crypto world.

Do more research and always filter out what others have suggested. For me if you are truly a beginner then you should trade on coin coins that have potential and large trading volumes because it will reduce the risk of losing you.
maybe to reduce the risk of loss start investing and trading using money that we can sacrifice, and with a small amount, this aims if we lose we do not fall too deep and try to enter the trade accompanied by a teacher, or a friend or relative who already understands the crypto world.

sure, an adequate person realizes that trading or investing is a risky thing and you shouldn't risk the only money you have

Make some research first at the coinamarketcap, then look for the coins that are belongs to top 5 in the market dude.
Then after you find out what it is you do the chance to buy them, then while doing it do learn and observe what they're doing
in the platform.

I wouldnt touch those 20 ETC, I would keep them. With 0.5 ethereum you can have some fun and learn something about trading. I can only suggest mid and long term trading, get into something and wait some time, month or two before you get the profit. Now when many coins are down its great to start piling up some good coins and wait the end of this year when prices tend to rise more, and maybe you can have some good profit, same like I do, I have more success like that than with day trading.

The common misconception about the cryptomarket is that all coins is worth investing and holding and they make profit out of it. "Shit" coins, less volatile coin and under valued coin is not worth for a newbie and instead the high ranks coin is a must to trade as a newbie for them to experience trading and be familiarized.
I have always found interesting why this is a common misconception, when in most websites that I read most people only suggest to hold bitcoin and just a few others also recommend holding a few altcoins and yet I keep seeing newbies holding altcoins that I have never heard about before and as you may guess they lose all their investment when that coin turns out to be a scam, it is likely they are thinking of getting the same results as the first bitcoin holders but I do not see any coin giving those profits anymore.

Exactly, that would be expected. Anyway, we have to wait until further hard fork and pump announcements, this is what going to happen next. I just bought some more in anticipation. I remember that good days when bitcoin was its peak price in 2017.

I would suggest the newbies not to get involved in things you do not have knowledge about.
This is very important and is essentially necessary because if you get involved in things you do not have the knowledge about, you face difficulties in excelling at it and this ultimately leads to loss.

Try to invest in famous good coins and trade when you have the benefits to trade because newbies often lose value at trading.

Before you start buying or trading anything you should learn the basics first. Make sure you have the proper knowledge about cryptocurrencies and about the security that is needed for you not to lose your money. There's no point in becoming an expert trader and then losing your crypto because of inadequate security measures. For starters, all of the funds that you are not trading with, I suggest you take them to an external wallet and not keep them on exchanges. You probably have heard about Quadriga. All of the money people kept on that exchange is now lost. Don't make the same mistake. You can also invest in proper devices for your crypto devices, such as a cold storage hardware wallet, maybe a specialized offline computer to keep your funds, or even a smartphone that is specially created for cryptocurrencies, for example, the Wings WX phone by BitWings. Whatever you decide to do, remember that knowledge is key in starting with anything new.

$ 200 is the amount you are worth as a newbie. try to trade on coins that are already on the top crypto coin top. This can be used as one of the things that are profitable than you have to choose the wrong coin.

If you want a sure token to trade with, it is much good and better to choose on the top 20 altcoins at the coinmarketcap.
With this you are sure taking home profit due to the market most of the time that belongs to top 20 are anyhow aggressive according to
the actual chart graph in the platform exchange.

Yes to become a good trader you will have to have good information and good knowledge about trading if you will have skills and information trust me you will never have to face lose, there are plenty of websites which helps new traders to enhance their knowledge so search about it and increase your knowledge as much as you can.

Last, don't believe to anyone in crypto, you will go in this battle alone, just learn and keep studying how to trade.

If you are new, you must know how you want to act, if you want to be an investor or a market speculator, but the truth is that if you buy right now, what you should do is keep it, until it goes up. I do not know how long it will last, but it will go up, I recommend Bitcoin. And with that you are learning, reading a lot, especially books.
I think new traders do not have to buy coins, the first thing to do is to learn how to trade properly and correctly and how to determine the situation of movements that can be seen from the graph, when you can read it all then trade will become easier and will definitely get profit.
Normally, it is better and is suggested to learn everything about the cryptocurrency that you would later on need to make use of to make money. So that is actually the first step.

Yes, the top ten coins in the market are really the attractive coins and they should be targeted to make money. There are coins like Eth available at low cost and have great potential so starting with ETH would not be a bad idea.

One thing I so much love about crypto technology is that you keep learning one or 2 things on a daily basis just like I grabbed some now through your write up.

I never knew that a special smartphone has been created for crypto currency which will really be a good idea but provided it has all the security features as IPhone, if it doesn’t, then it is not worth it because if you live in a country where phone theft is 5% of their business, how do one cope with that, it means once the phone is stolen, then all is lost too. For computer wallet, I have been using exodus wallet for a very long time now and I am enjoying it so much especially the fact that you can do some exchanges directly on it.

You should first monitor the price of coins in the market, and pay attention to which coins are up and down steadily, to avoid losses or cutlose. and in my opinion considering the declining price of ethereum. You should invest it in ethereum coin, which is estimated to be dumped in 2020,

By far the best advice that you gave is the last one, when it comes to investing everyone is looking for the same thing and so you cannot rely on anyone else, if you want to make profits then you need to find a way to do it for yourself otherwise you will lose money or in the best case scenario your profits will not be as good as they could be, but that rule not only applies to this market it applies to all of them, sometimes I wonder what are people thinking when they invest in a stock just because someone on TV recommended that stock in one of those financial television shows as if they did not know that the person giving that tip probably bought that stock for cheap and then he will sell it for big profits later once the show is broadcast.

It is a big consideration and profits really matter of how much we invested capital we out into trading. It is a big deal actually and might be a tough decision for us cause we know how tricky is the market today. It could be a big loss for us we are wrong into our decisions and selected the wrong coins for trades.

I think that you need to do practical exercises, too, with a small starting capital. You need to gain practical experience in any case, because the theory will not go far. To many users of cryptocurrency today self-taught and studied the market in practice, rather than using books.

Indeed! Knowledge is important, it would be a great help for us to gain skills and bunch of experiences that would lead towards success. The first step in crypto consciousness is understanding blockchain technology. An ideal starting point is reading articles, checking online forums and vlogs discussions related to cryptocurrencies. This will help broaden our mind to learning and seeing the possibilities of the potential of blockchain technology. Stop wasting your time and never stop learning. Since market is exceptionally volatile, only invest what you’re willing to part ways with. Learn to diversify, you should be able to spread across the market proportionally so you will still have a good chance to achieve positive returns in one market when another is generating negative returns.

There is nothing wrong in trading too much as you're starting. In that way, you'll be able to figure out how to really trade better. However, you should only trade in very small amount as you're just starting. You don't need to spend a lot of time in monitoring the market. The more you trade the more you gain experience, but the amount of money at risk should be controlled.

Actually altcoin has higher fluctuacion than BTC, when bullish trend many altcoin offer bigger gainer than BTC. Because now altcoin already oversold so you can buy it and use for long term trading. Choose good altcoin that tradeable on Binance is very good decision because has more probability to rally cause the trading volume is high. My sugestion cor altcoin is ADA, LTC, GVT, BNB, EOS.

It is better to buy a few coins for trading that have the potential for price increases, the parameters for buying are in the top 10, because this principle is safer than buying one coin and big investment.
To reduce risk and divide profits by having a few coins I believe trading for beginners will not fall, because experience proves holding lots of coins is safer than one coin.

From my side, advice is to learn trading. Read about it, look the facts and figures and see how this all is working. This is one of the splendid opportunities to earn from even small investments but you must make sure, you should be well equipped with knowledge before diving into this stream.

You should first monitor the price of coins in the market, and pay attention to which coins are up and down steadily, to avoid losses or cutlose. and in my opinion considering the declining price of ethereum. You should invest it in ethereum coin, which is estimated to be dumped in 2020,

How did you know or come to hear of this information about Ethereum dump in 2020? Do you assume this information?, kindly provide source, please. Haven been in trade, trade is not what a newbie should jump into because there is more to it lose than it gain therein. Learn how to trade by practice, read more trades strategies provided on the forum, ensure you are free from emotional stress before venturing into trade.

Don't be deceive with the rise and falls of coins to capitalize your trade techniques on such. Monitory coins has little to do with trade tactics, explore the strategies and gains are sure.

As for me, day trading is the best option, on every deal you devote 3-5 percents of your deposit and making some profit in small price movements up and down. In addition, Such trades are providing price liquidity and market is running smoothly thanks to that.

I think that's one advantage of it day trading, liquidity of the market is running and so as the exchange.

But I must tell you that day trading is not for everyone, specially if you are newbie in trading. That's why I quite surprised to find you making profits in this bear market because you are doing day trading. Goodluck to you and hope you don't get greedy at the end and chase for big profits daily.

Exactly.Invest only in top 10 coins because these will eventually give you huge profits particularly when bull run comes. And having ETH and BTC are really good choices because these two are considered the most potential coins in the market.Keep on studying the crypto market so you will gain more valuable ideas which will mold you to be a good trader in time.
In fact it is the other way around, it is true that the profits you can get out of the top 10 coins are very good but those are the safest coins to invest in the market, if what you are really after are huge profits then you need to take a risk and invest in coins outside the top 50 or even the top 100, your risk will grow exponentially with such coins but at the same time the rewards grow as well and depending on your objectives that could be a good thing or a bad thing.

Convert all the altcoins to major cryptocurrencies and hold ETH or BTC. If you want to try yourself as a trader just trades with major cryptos like ETH. Always buy reliable project's token and hold till get the point that gives you the best profit.

that's true because to trade bitcoin and ethereum as the main coins is the best thing to get a promising advantage, the question is that both coins are very promising results

You should be investing more on bitcoin. Bitcoin might go up anytime soon. Once that happen, your portfolio will go up.

And for the 200 usd you should be buying some of these coins: TRX, LTC, and try to have more eth.

You should be hodling your 20 ETC.

Not everything is that easy, the main point is what market do you use to trade? because every market I think every day there are always superior coins and always changing every day so if you want to trade just follow the news on the market, don't just change to the main coin

Read about them. These two are splendid coins with enormous profits ratios. Although in these days al the coins are giving bad numbers but still people are earning fantastic from these two supreme coins. ETH is too cheap and it suits to every pocket but bitcoin, yeah it is a bit fluffy.

But, when you get maximum know how about them, try to map them to your needs. Perhaps, one is better for me, wouldn’t be better for you so decide yourself.

Starting from small market cap coins can be harmful to OP's trading journey. Better keep playing with big and steady growing coins and never afford the trading amount that you can't afford to lose in single position.

If you want to trade start with a small amount first. As you are a newbie I suggest you stick to top 10-20 more or less reliable cryptocurrencies for trading. The choice of best crypto is as important as the reliability of a chosen trading platform. In this regard, I’d recommend you Cex https://cex.io/eth-btc as a good place to start trading, due to its intuitive interface. For diversification of your portfolio, you can invest in Monero, Stellar or IOTA but first, do your own research.

Before investing your money please do some research regarding crypto-currencies because without knowing about this platform you can't get success. You muct have learned about fundamental as well as technical analysis and also have patience. From my point you view, while you are newbie in trading then firstly select top 20 crypto-currencies then try to buy those at low cost, i believe that it will be profitable for you.

That's a good start keep holding that and add more in the future.
You can search it on the internet like the above says you have a good chance making it easy if you searched it through the internet on the top altcoin or token. Since newbies lacks the knowledge to apprehend such analysis we have to rely on top listings but even though some lack that we have to speculate a particular that is your liking and invest after it has good results.

Yes because to become a trader knowledge matters allot, the more you will learn the more you will be safe being a trader, it is very important for new traders to know when and where they should buy their coin, holding is very important thing and after holding only patience can help you, it is very important to keep your emotions away to become a good trader.

The newbie traders can still not rely on the top coins if they want,  but for sure security of their money I will agree to you that they need to buy more top or rank coins because the price will not easily down compared to the other coins because the foundation or supporterd is not strong.

To look something that have assurance, we should have to choose the top coins in the market rather than of participating ICO. Though ICO/IEO have that also some percentage but it usually give us losses especially when it don't have a working product as mostly price goes down after the end of the bounty programs.
So I suggest for beginners, better to look the existing coins to trades which it have already enough volume and have a good market value.

Proper analysis is good for the trading platform. But we must take risk in trading because we don't know the future possibilities and how our investment will make profit. If I believe my crypto it will never disappoint my investment so continuous involvement is necessary in all the time and newbie investors are concentrate in small scale trading because this will guide you the further trading.

Best option for the beginner like him tho, what other beginners do is that they buy many coins and try to hold them listening to fake ads on youtube or somewhere in the internet. Ethereum and Bitcoin ( or other high capitalized coins) is the best option to trade or hold as a beginner.

Holding is not advisable in this current market. It better to day trade with the coins than have them in your wallet long-term .

I would recommend you learn to trade before riskinu any more money in the market.

It depends on the user if the users is good for bitcoin trading he can trade well but if he is good for investing he can invest, according to me new person should first invest for long term because trading needs allot of knowledge and skill before getting profit, so suggest investing for long term it makes money and also it is lack of risk.

For new beginners, it's still best to study the crypto market first before investing in particular coins and even in trading coins. These two involves risks so as a newbie, better to familiarize the movement of the market price as this will fluctuate from time to time. MInvesting in long term might be a good idea but in trading, you still need to gain more experiences to make profit and not to end up losing.

Doing long term trading by choose good coin will be more profitable than day trading and will spend less times, choose altcoin that still in the bottomed and has strong fundamental, just like OMG that still in the bottom and has more potential to rise to the highest price, so we should be learn more fundamental each crypto.

I don't recommend to buy the tokens from IEO or ICO because it's too risky. But maybe I can suggest to trading because he has a change to make a profit from many coins. That will work well if he can learn about analysis, so he knows how to trade with a right, and that will make him have a chance to make a profit.

In order to make a sizable profit with your 20 ethereum, I’d suggest you try margin trading. It allows you to multiply the return having only 20 coins. For example, a platform Cex Broker provides up to 10x leverage on ethereum and bitcoin - https://cexbro.com/. It means that you can turn your 20 coins into 200 coins and trade them. Margin trading can be lucrative but keep in mind that the risk is higher as well. Therefore, educate yourself about this way of trading first. For every single trade whether on margin or not use a stop loss to be safer. If you need practice, the platform offers a free demo account where you can acquire the needed skills.

As for $200, I’d invest in IOTA or Cardano that I think can bring good returns. But you should DYOR on this issue because only you are responsible for any financial loss it may cause. Learn more regarding what fundamentals are and who stands behind the cryptocurrency you want to invest and estimate how profitable it can be.

I'm not quite familiar with the altcoins you mentioned except for ETC which is one of the good coins in crypto.
If I were you, better for you to sell the coins you have except for ETC. Then, use the purchase amount to buy a new coins
that are belongs to top 10 altcoins at the coinmarketcap, on this way there is a high chance for you to get a profit in the
near future for sure, just hold for awhile.
