I am holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens. So do millions of other people in our community. We must do something about it! So I decided to Pick up the gauntlet. I dont get it what you are trying to achieve or which problems do you want to solve? Would you please be so kind and elaborate your ideas?

I think the majority of us has useless tokens in the portfolio, but for me thats not really a big deal ...

I think that we have power as a big group. We can unite, and to make an opportunity out of our problem. I am sure that for some big companies/platforms there might be a use for this. Don't you think?

Which problem are you talking about? That you have lots of illiquit tokens? Those tokens arent worth anything because of reasons, eg. the project behind the token stopped the work, saw that the idea isnt good enough etc. How do you want to address that?

I think many, or the most ppl have the same problem!
Nearly every project looked promising in bull market!
Now.. nearly every project is near the end.. It certainly seems like that
The price and the volume of lowcap coins is not really relevant atm..
the most important is, that they are working and publishing, releasing their planned things!
Should we get an bullrun, good projects will shine.. even bad projects will rise a little bit because of higher btc price, thats the time to sell this sh..t

Expecting the growth of BTC to sell your sh..t coins is not the best way. Rise may not soon, during which time many assets will die and there will be delisting.

How can we, effect those who have created a weak or scam project?

I have so many tokens in myetherwallet that I don't think there can be amount to anything significant in future.  Those coins are some of the coins I got from airdrops and bounties.  If the momentum that commenced in 2017 continue we may have gotten good values for them as some of them are dying away.

if you just holding token from bounty campaign i think is not a big problem, but holding token from ico campaign and don't have value or the price are going so deep is a big problem, especially for inestor are investing their money in ico campaign

If it bothers you that those tokens are in your wallet just generate a new wallet and transfer all of those useless coins to this wallet using very low GAS-fees. The transactions may take a while but you wont see those tokens ever again ;-)

Just try to forget your useless tokens then find another worthy token from bounty or buy on the exchange. Writing like this didn't affect anything with your useless tokens...

I have useless tokens like you too, but I already forget them because is just wasting time to wait for them "when moon"...

So far we keep this bag, market and is in a slump. We need to easily get rid of garbage and not support this kind of projects, then the market breathes easier, and we find it easier to choose.

Just keep it and forget it, if it is thought it will make us hampered and add problems in our mind, just think positively one day the market will be bright again and all our tokens can be sold

What kind of solution do you propose for having this kind of useless token? I have some dust useless tokens on my wallet and I never imagine if they will recover soon when bitcoin goes on bull. Just leave it on your wallet, there's nothing to do with those type of tokens anymore.

If you can meet the project leaders, you are a very lucky person. Because most ICO projects show signs of failure, founders and members are not actively working and seem to give up. So when you meet them, tell them to look for more investors and use that money to list on the major exchanges and create positive articles about the project. That is the best thing to be able to increase the token value.

You should have invested in staking coins and a few cheap older computers.  Then you could have run staking wallets and mined these coins.  People that mine good percentage staking coins have done well.  They form a team because they are building wealth and they attract people who can carry on the development.  And, most of those have been the cheaper coins, and their value has been retained over time, like Bottlecaps, TruckCoin, VersionCoin, Chess, and GrowthCoin.

You are talking about non-liquids coins. And this is capitalism,.. driven by market.. Here demand and offer are the elements that rule the market. If assests arent liquid anymore, this would mean that no one is interested in them. All of us, got a lot of useless coins. MAny of them were plain scams, and others were just abandoned because team was too lazy or lacked in skills terms.. Sumarizing, these tokens are absolutely useless, so just forget and focus on other that are sitll working.

Only logical solution for all the useless tokens is a decentralized swap exchange where we can sell or swap all the unwanted tokens we are holding, if you are talking about icos that have not released the tokens or unlocked them i think there is no solution for such a situation.

I don't have any useless tokens but I do have useless coins, well not that useless but still worth 1/10 of what they once were. I'm afraid of selling them and then see that they skyrocket lol. In my head I rather just keep them and forget and hope that one day they are worth a lot, the monetary loss is already gone.

No I don't want to take care risks like being waiting for long time to getting profit without any trust from the investment so what is my opinion is being with low good investment and some trustable currencies will be the profitable way to be a best profitable person.

If they are ethereum tokens then you can probably find them on forkdelta and then soon on ethershift. However, that won't help the buy demand, you will have to create a marketing campaign yourself as no one else will do it, especially if the devs are gone and the community limited

And what is your plan to make people interested in those useless tokens? I know it's hard to realize that you made a mistake when you invested in those tokens, I have made some mistakes as well so I can understand you, but no one can do anything about it, if there is no demand for those coins then you have no option but to keep them or to give them away for free, so instead of focusing on your past mistakes it is better to learn from them and to not make the same mistake again.

Sold most of my tokens. Only holding LINK and CET right now, extremely happy with both (LINK almost doubled in price last 6 months).
Did sell a lot of the others at a loss, but all of them are even cheaper now, so I got out "sort of on time".

You have a good step by holding meetings and discussions, and are there good results? The tokens are useless but still valuable, if there is no future then throw away and turn to the potential token, past is indeed a lesson to be learned not to be lamented.

I think that most people now have wallets with useless tokens obtained in bounty companies. In the bear market, tokens of almost all projects cost nothing. Therefore, you just do not need to pay attention to them and leave for 1-3 years in your wallet.

Yeah, and I can稚 do about it right now but to move on and forget about that since it will never be listed as it consider as a failed project and the developer run away. This is why we need to participate on good bounty campaign, don稚 just be in hurry participating on a bounty make a good study first.

Yeah I got quite a lot of tokens that got a little value, most of them I got from the airdrop programs, and about the value we can't do anything, we can't force someone to adopt or force the developers to advertise the product, the solution is just simply put it in the wallet and pray one day it can become a big coin, as the community we can only warn about the coin that going to become scam, we can't halt someone to buy the coin that maybe got potential

The fact is that this is a problem for many users of cryptocurrencies that deal with Bounty companies and air drop. Tokens accumulate in wallets and at the same time has no value. There are two ways out, either to leave them alone or spend ethereum to withdraw to some other wallets.

The fact is that some Coins, which today are not traded on exchanges and have no value, it is possible in the future to show their activity. It is necessary to more actively follow the development of projects to designate the fate of specific coins.

Many people participate in Airdrops, the Bounty of those projects that are not promising, so they get tokens and coins that will lie dead weight. You should not chase the quantity, you need to carefully select a project to participate in it and then do not have to keep dozens of junk coins in your wallet.

Each and every person who have spend some time here will have a bag of useless tokens in their wallets and i invested some in some projects which turned out to be projects with just hype and nothing substantial and hence the price has dropped a lot after a few months and then i have some tokens which are attained through air drops and wasted some time collecting some useless tokens and stopped after turning out to be fake projects just collecting details and nothing else.

Actually if Developers really have good cooperation with market owner it will be really good. But as we can see, only a few exchangers that allow new tokens to listed to them, and what need to prove is developers must proof that their tokens is good in progress so market not think it as pump and dump token only.

I think even if it is getting listed there is no possibility that people would buy at it again. Probably they will be going to dump it if they have the chance since they don't see any progress of the project before. Developers will have an advantage if people try to pump the market of that certain tokens in the market and they will just manipulate the price.

Today, our wallets fill a very large number of unnecessary coins. Even some coins Until recently were in demand, today there is no sense to sell them, because their price is very insignificant. To not even know how to act in this situation.

You complained about being a bagholders but did not explain in detail what you want to improve your situation.
Well, not that it's important for people to know, but at least it would be nice of you to recognize that you will not have where push these tokens!
These tokens don't represent any value or even possibilities. It's sad the truth. :-\
Be realistic with yourself.

Lol. meeting with lots of project leaders? Big companies and trading platforms? What you gonna do then?

If you have a lot of shitcoins then you should dump everything and move it to bitcoin, simply as that. You don't have to go to that length, setting up meetings, it won't change those useless illiquid tokens you have or the rest of shitholders.

Or better yet, take the lost now and don't invest and stay away for now so that it won't disappoint you in the end.

the results of airdrop can't be confirmed. I suggest following Airdrop which has a bounty campaign too. it will be safer, even though it does not guarantee it will be sold but at least the participants are more.

Why bother these are dead coins and dead projects, why can't you move on? if you will try to find a solution for these dead coins then you have hundreds of dead coins to deal with, this is a useless idea, just support coins that are doing well and already in the market.

Being a bounty hunter we can't avoided those useless token that sleeping in our wallet as we can't do anything with those token as no value in the exchange. All we can do is to hope that someday the developers will reactivate those project and we can make money with those illiquid token. That's the reality after we help them to spread their projects then their token will not hit in exchanges and we just waste our time and efforts.

Holding people had lots of patience that's why they remain holding while the price is not comfortable for them but holding in the situation is very much prettier than anything if you don't know it will be valuable or populous then selling some of them were the good idea.

I also hold a lot of tokens that value nothing now, i also got some which i not ask to. Have you any succes OP? You found someone who will want to add useless tokens to an exchange? I think is hard to do so because also who create tokens will have some and will sell it.

They are scam coins and you are the bag holder hence the perceived illiquidity of the said token, you will wait and wait but won't ever get any person pumping in cash to increase the volume so you can trade it.

almost crypto enthusiast has their trash coins in their portofolio and even only became display in their wallet without any value or idea how to encash or taking profit from it. its caused of some dead ICOs, or probably the project are not run like what they planned in the roadmap because of any problem in the middle of crowdfunding. i have it too my friend, and i have no idea what to do with these coins, after giving all of my efforts spreading the word about the project.

The fact is that the results of the coin in the cryptocurrency market depend not only on speculation on the exchange, but also on the real work of the professional project team.  If today the coin shows bad results, then this may be due to the current trend in the cryptocurrency market, and when everything changes, the price will show better results.

It's been very hard to teach the average intelligence Crypto trader how to make money in Cryptocurrency trading since December 2017.  Most people have lost money.  I kept cashing out until September 2018 by my trading methods, which you can see well discussed by me by searching my history here.

I am holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens. So do millions of other people in our community. We must do something about it! So I decided to Pick up the gauntlet. I知 having meetings with projects leaders, big companies, and trading platform, trying to find the best solution for all of us. Would love to hear your situation, thoughts, and ideas.

This problems do exist since 2 years ago, we cant help ourselves to solve this one, as pretended best developers are continuously creating ICO's, IEO's in the market and we crypto enthusiast keep on supporting in it, even buying in it, without making sure that their project will gonna work, and at the end of the day, we are holding their tokens and coins, i like your idea that you want to create something unique in order to prevent and make this things useful and avoid us in the future for holding this shitcoins, i mean without value coins.

I dont get it what you are trying to achieve or which problems do you want to solve? Would you please be so kind and elaborate your ideas?

I think the majority of us has useless tokens in the portfolio, but for me thats not really a big deal ...

Maybe he hopes that by meeting with leaders, things like illiquid tokens will not happen again so we will no longer get cases like neglected projects like before.

For me the effort we used to get some tokens is about a big deal.

You can check it at my ethereum address, almost most of them its useless liquid tokens with a shitty price. The useless token 90% from the ICO at 2017, and around 50-60% the project already abandoned, scam, failed, no volume trading, etc. I have more than 100 different tokens, just really lazy to sent to trash address or something like that.

I do hold some but it's not really a big problem for me. I'll probably just let it stay for a whole time there because I'm still hoping that they will do well in the next few years. I'm not really thinking about dumping them because they are just bounty tokens and not the one that I have invested on.

It's best not to trash them or sell crypto for too cheap.  One never can predict the future in it.

I think most of us here holding some kinds of useless coins that we got from doing bounty and mostly airdrop but sad to say they are those who doesn't reach the market so they don't have a price until now, that's we calling them useless at the moment.

I hope this proposal shall continue and will do help us in looking for solutions in our useless tokens. We have exerted enough efforts to gain those tokens so we are hopeful to find a solution for this.

So many of us are holding some of these token that are redundant and I think there is nothing we can do about it,. I already see them as scammed project and a waste of time, what I did in order not to continue seeing them as an investment, I moved them to a separate portfolio so that I can know what my real coins are.

I believe that majority of use would have learnt our lessons by now, so we really need to leave the past behind, move forward and look for more solid projects we can work on that will probably pay us at the end of campaign and then sell it off immediately without thinking they will be useful for long term investment.

This is the risk you run when investing in obscure cryptocurrencies! But also has the potential for a higher reward.

I dont usually hold a large amount of unsafe coins knowing its riskier than others but of all of my crypto investments, its safe to say that i have 10% experimental coins in me. This coins are mostly called as shitcoins or useless coins but i know that some of them worth a try. 10% is enough to gamble with them.

when you have obtained tokens from the bounty campaign, you should be able to use them for additional trading capital or when you feel they have good development, you can wait until the price becomes very expensive and you can make profit withdrawals and make you rich.

Nope, the best thing is that this tokens token should be fixed and stay there. If there are developments from the admin, it's likely that it's also a scam, and if they later want to continue the project again, it's better to release a new token, with a new name, the important thing is different from the old one. 1-2 years do not develop means that the token cannot be trusted

I hold few of them in my wallets hoping that someday they get a value enough for selling it. Some of the token has active developers and still working to improve their tokens so I believe there will a time when its value go up eventually. They are all came from a bounty last year when the whole crypto market is in bearish state and prices of the coins are in continuing decline. One of my tokens has a price of more than a dollar but its volume in trading is very low in volume and might go down anytime.

We are all holding coins which are 99% from ATH, basically no point in selling those coins and no point in buying more either to get a better average.

Sure some will eventually turn into 100% losses but some might recover and those that recover might make some losses back.

Reason why its not always smart to buy more to average in is because if a coin is at 99% from ATH, there is usually a reason why and its usually because its dying and its a risky buy.

Perhaps you are right that if the coin has fallen in price by 99% of its ATH, then this may signal that it is dying. But I still believe that some coins that are very cheap, but have a real team are able to grow, so I constantly allocate small amounts of money to buy these coins on DEXs and store them.

There is no strategy who will know that the project will be interested and give us lots of profit. Although if a coin has a good team and he try to give a best thing for all investor that the coin will give them lots of profit but if the coin it does not function properly and some people assume that the coin will not be in accordance with the mindset of every user in the future it will be useless. The investor now has an ability to predict that the coin will be use by many people or not, and that will make the crypto world competition be stronger. I guess this is an effect that occurs on useless coins that are in our wallet, and I am sure the coin will not be of any value.

yes it's always there in most of the people wallets because everyone try to make their future more brighter so the trust some of the useless currencies to get a profit but right now I don't have any value and they leave remaining in my wallet like a dust.

Though I have some liquid ones like BTC, ETH, HTA, LIGHT, DGB, XMR, while some shitcoins as well from airdrops and bounty. They are in my Eth wallet and still not sure what they are...

I also sometimes wonder what to do with tokens that cost nothing. They just fill the wallet in vain. I doubt that tokens that have been unnecessary for a long time will one day become valuable.

I don't really understand what you mean by illiquid tokens but I have many coins in myetherwallet that are really not good for me and some of them are in hundred of thousand and actually there are not having any values. I don't know if that is what you called illiquid tokens! I don't know how you intended to help though!

What is the reason for holding shitcoins? The only explanation I can find is the belief that some of them will pump once, and give their holder a very good profit. Nevertheless, the chances for this growth are small.

It turned into dust and is now it is not worth trading anymore. Counting for the most of us i think.
