I don't know if this year has bring alot of luck to you?  It seems everything about cryptocurrencies is stagnated because of the continuously downfalls in pricing and I do believe that the only sector that is benefiting from the advent of cryptocurrencies is gambling industries . This year how much have you made so far in gambling?

Gambling should be fun not an income source bud. I never calculated the outcome. I bet little when I see I can take some fun. Not a profession one here. How about you?

Well, gambling needs to be given preference as a fun. One who calculates to earn through it for a living can be successful for a short, but the same won't last for longer time period. To make this year a favorable one through gambling just consider it a game that let's you relieved when you're in stress. If the same is making you get stressed, you're into addiction.

Not even one month has passed since new year and you already expecting people to sum up the whole 2019 :)
I know, I know... semantics. But still not much can be said about the whole year right?
I can however write something about this current month experience, as its already coming to an end.
Compared to January of 2018 I have noted a little gain in gambling profits, not much because I don't play on regular basis.
One nice win two weeks ago boosted my gains, compared to last year of course, of about 25K satoshi :_D
Dust, I know but gain is a gain. Summing up: it is a little better than last year.

And this is when things started to go wrong. Once you are addicted then

you will spend money without thinking
you will not feel good if you do not gamble,
you will have problem with relationships, socializing, rude mood and many more bad habits.

I have seen people to take profession help to get rid of the gambling addiction.

What I really mean is this year so far. I am a trader and gambling time to time but not treat it as fun. I am out to make some fund and not to lose. However this is my aim but I understand that gambling is full of loses and very hard to make profit from it.

Seriously, 2019 has only just begun and people are already spreading doom and gloom about the crypto market.  All the people calling bitcoin dead will be crying when it hits 20k again.  Take advantage of the bear market and use this time to accumulate cheap while people are sitting here with thumbs in their mouth.

So far on playing gambling im not really counting if i do make profit or not as long it do satisfies my leisure thing. When it comes to trading then theres no doubt
with this very stagnated market you cant really avoid to be stressed out so gambling business or industry do exist where people do usually comes in and yes this is the only
sector that do benefit in both sides either on bearish or bullish ones since people do play no matter what.

It is a good thing you are aware of the fact, that gambling is not a thing of entertainment for you.
Where said realisation of the fact is good, there very existence / occurrence of such approach is not.
I'm not patronising you, not even in the slightest however you have to admit, for your own sake that maybe, just maybe you have a gambling problem. Believe me and other members when they say that gambling should be fun, entertaining and basically done with money you are ready to throw away.
My tip: make sure you using casinos with the lowest house edge possible :) and may the Saint Cajetan (gamblers patron)  keep his watch over you.

If you are afraid of losing too much crypto in gambling then why not use fiat instead? The crypto market is very stagnant and it is not a good time to use most of our crypto for gambling.
This year might be too harsh to all of us since we notice a lot of dropped price in the market. Our luck and skills doesn't define whether the market is in bearish trend or bullishness.

My luck in gambling is poor forever,so I am ot trying to gamble much in this year,and didn't played even i the online crypto gambling sites but tried a sportbet once but didn't bring any favour to me which is not much to lose and take it as another lesson.

LOL same here my friend. I used to gamble a lot even I was addicted to it but then I gave up. Now I don't put much money in gambling.

I think this is too early to tackle since were only in the first month of the year though for the regular gamblers they might having some profitable act this early,but for me this is another red flag for every uncontrollable gamblers ,those who can’t help themselves from betting and betting

2018 was indeed a bad year for most. only the gambling industry seems to be resilient. I am also interested in knowing how much people made from gambling in the bearish market. 

Bearish or bullish market it doesn't matter when you are gambling but it is more likely that the number of gamblers using crypto is very limited due to the market conditions. So far gambling may seem too good to me this month, i might have to play for fun but still hoping to win some. Last year was just a normal experience and nothing's new.

During this year I have gambled a bit more than I do normally. This year has not been favourable because once I win a bet I lose other three bets. I am trying to play different sports than soccer but the result so far has been the same. It is better I think to play basketball or tennis in which only two outcomes are in total to choose from and I think chances should be higher to win here.

Yes , i can say that this year ( including last year ) are favourable to me when it comes to playing a gambling because i tend to won alot and i can get the lower tier jackpot prizes .   thats because i can now gamble more oftenly due to the current market situation in which i can afford to buy more coins that i will used as bets whenever i play on online casino ' s .

sometimes we need to play more often so that we can expect to win more  and if you dont win before, just dont be discourage  . instead you must try and try more  .

Not much, I just play safe and not focused on lusting to win every gambling. It's just that when I win many times, I will stop and leave the gambling place and come back again the next day. I do not have a specific target for gambling online, just filling my spare time and understanding how to gamble especially using crypto currency.

What a smart strategy you have, some never have such ways instead they always gamble when they are winning and just stop when they have nothing left. For sure you win a lot than of losing.
If you have luck in gambling then you are preferred to win but if not, you better not doing otherwise you are throwing your money into the other hands.

I am not sure about that, because my balance in the exchange is not increased too high. But yes, the gambling industries still online until now, no matter if the market is on the bear market or in the bull market. There will be many new people who interest with the gambling game, and while they are waiting for the market to rises, they can play various games in that site. I don't make a lot of money from gambling because I don't depend on gambling to make money.

For me this is no difference from the previous years in terms of gambling winnings. I spent my 20% of the money on gambling whether it be casino or betting, and my profit and loss ratio is almost even. You can say that at the end of the year my investment money is more or less the same and there is no gain or loss roughly.

People trading and gambling are from different kinds,the traders not going to introduce new capital everyday but the gamblers will deposit new money when they have exhausted their balance which make the gambling site's bankroll still high even in the bear market.

Try and control yourself when you even win as people get greedy when they win some money and they think it is easy to win money and keep playing more and eventually end up losing more money than winning. So just need to take care of your emotions and play more for your fun.

Even though I think that it is not favourable to me but I have nothing to is to accept of it have now.  We need to move on and continue of what we work before, this is a unfinished business. I'm in losing but I still have chances to cover up those losses if I'll continue to work and not making my life miserable just for that(losses). 

Overall year this year (2018) was not good because bitcoin was in selling state all the time. We moved all the way down from 19K to 3000$. Saying of gambling, we spend btc which were greater in USD value and even if i won few good bets, my overall portfolio in terms of dollars has fallen.

I do not think if anyone have managed to earn much in 2018, because of bearish conditions.

I've made nothing because I decided to quit for now. Not because of the worsening market conditions but I have to prioritised things this year as there as lots of changes in my personal life. So step aside gambling first and let me do my thing. However, I still continue to invest some money from time to time and buy and accumulate in this conditions.

if the investment suffered a large loss due to falling prices. it does not apply in gambling. and luckily I had a lot of luck last year, starting from the champions league final when I chose Real Madrid, Dice where I guessed the correct numbers and so on.

A great advise. History repeats. Just because the market is down does not mean that everything is coming to the end. Use the opportunity to gain more Bitcoin. Consider it as a chance given to you. But I do not think gambling should be a way. If you gamble you may even lose your Bitcoin.

I made some money from gambling but it is not that much that one can having a living with it. i use bitcoin gambling only for part time earning.

This year (2019) is just started and i hope this year will be much more better than the previous ones. Also the bitcoin price is at its lowest level and it will not go below this point. Secondly i hope there are many new gambling games won this year by me . Since bitcoin will boom this year, so their is a possibility that many new gambling sites may popup and the previous ones will be more structured and provide better services to their customers.

Past results do not indicate future results, that being said I firmly believe bitcoin will hit new all time highs within the next 1-2 years.  A lot of people have left the crypto market but it is good to see this forum active and the bitcoiners here are remaining optimistic.

During the bearish market i was able to make some profits quite good from gamble. Deposited a capital of 0.2BTC on Bitvest.io which i used to generate a reasonable profit during the bear market and still playing for more wins which i hope for.

I exactly meant that when I said the history repeats. Bitcoiin will hit another all time high sooner or later and my advise was to the readers to accumulate as many as they can while the price is down.

Good luck on that but i hope you should consider slowly playing gambling but instead invest it bitcoin so that you will have a profit during bull market.
Last year was a crazy year that months or even weeks the only thing you see in the market is a consecutive dropping of prices. Don't think that playing gamble can make your money double in just a short span of time.

Well, is too early for one come into conclusion on how to analyze what one has or would make from crypto currency market since we still in January. Gambling companies are are really doing well in crypto currency as compared to ICO.

Also i want to tell that last year was ok for me, if not the best in terms of gambling. We had the Fifa world cup in 2018 and that was a very good time for sports betting.

This year should be good for cricket fans. Upcoming IPL, world cup 2019 and many more. I guess in the east cricket is very popular and they do spend a lot of money in betting.

what I am thinking is in this year will not going in the right direction for the people who had struggling in this field will definitely get out of this print very easily so favourable is more important in this year especially for Gambler to have lost most of his investment.

I beleive that the market hasnt do that such a big deal with regards on your profit on gambling. Gambling doesnt rely on anything and its independent even on how to profit. Just a difference in value because of the volatility and nothing more. With this kind of market, i will admit that im still able to win on my bets sometimes and i still consider it as favorable.

Hasn't been too great for me personally; I bought much of my BTC at much lower prices than we are at right now, and though I'm technically not at a loss yet, I've lost a lot of profit by holding, though I do not plan on selling off the majority of my stash yet. Gambling has been the same-old same-old recently; I'm currently in the green with CS:GO betting as usual. Hopefully we don't see too many crypto services or casinos go under in this bear market, though- I suspect we'll be at current BTC price levels for years 'till we go back up.

Not so sure about that, this year is just getting started. But last year is the biggest disappointment for me because of the expected rise of the price, also hoping to get back my lost by gambling unfortunately I didn't make profit for that instead I lost more. So I hope that this year will be my lucky year to cover my lost from the last year.

As others have this year has just started so its difficult to assess. However, I will brutally honest, that I'm lost around .015BTC so that's a bad start for me. And imagining that I just so with my friends on a traditional casino just last week, so not good.

However, its not a big lost, I can still recover it, but I wouldn't, I know in the end I might be losing more. So I will just keep cool and stay out as long as I can and let me prioritized other more important things because going online or traditional gambling.

would it be better if you can just secure your profits last year ? since you already mentioned that the price had increased and you already earn a good profit  .  if im on your situation i think ill also do the same  . i will only resume  playing gambling when the price starts to drop again because that wont hurt me much  .  this year is verry favourable to me because i can now play gambling more often . how i wish the bear can last a little bit long 

This year did not bring any luck for me. To be honest, I do not believe in my luck, hahaha. I lost a lot in the beginning of this year by trading. As I stated somedays ago, I do not gamble more often but I do not lose a lot in this year. Overall, I am in profit.

Although I am not making a good profit in gambling and not getting lost too much money, I think this year will be the same as the last year for me because I don't use big money to play gambling and I don't play too often like other people. I only hope that this year, the market will rise again so I can take a profit from trading and not from gambling.

What is the relation between cryptocurrencies' downfall prices and gambling industries ? You mean due to low value of bitcoin people will gamble more ? I guess they might be gambling all the times for a fixed daily limited bankroll like 0.01 BTC or 0.025 BTC (in the case of a responsible gambler), and they might not be bothering where bitcoin is trading and how much they are winning/losing in terms of USD value.

I agree gambling industry got big boom due to the introduction of cryptocurrencies but this remain unaffected its fluctuating price levels. Probably old gamblers are still setting their base bet around 0.001 BTC whereas new gamblers might be setting around 10k or 1k satoshi. Still, the difference is only for houses to be felt down and not from gambler's point of view.

Do gamble for fun and for your entertainment so that you are not much into making money from gambling which could lead to various side effects like getting addicted to it or having sleepless night due to losses incurred while gambling . Also if people feel it’s not the good day or year then better to avoid it rather than taking more hit in profits .

Can't avoid that, to those who's aggressive to recover such loses they will keep playing back, wanting to recover in a short span of time but only to realize that they lose more and more, better to treat gambling as source of enjoyment indeed, so you won't rely anything and just purely for enjoyment.

Gamblers rarely stop. Once you start gambling and lose the fun part and become addicted then you are done for long time. You will keep doing the same mistake months after months even years after years. Very few people can make money from gambling.

Well in general it started pretty bad but then it's slowly improving as i change my mindset. Seems like what the successful people says about mindset and emotions seems to be pretty accurate.

For now things haven't been going in the way I want them to be but it's only the first month of the year so I wouldn't lose hope on myself that quickly.

Bitcoin casinos aren't the only one benifiting from this you also have the retailers,companies,merchants that are accepting crypto payments for years .

You misunderstood what OP said he didn't meant people will gamble more with crypto now that it's cheaper. What he's trying to say was bitcoin gambling sites can keep on making profits regardless of the price moving up or down.

 To be honest I'm not  feeling lucky on this year, because i always didn't win.  So i decided to stop playing to assure my money is safe, actually  i have 5% lost already in my portfolio . So much better to take a break than constantly playing. Maybe i will continue playing when i have nothing to do so that i can focus very well on it.

I'm sorry but I seriously doubt all that law of attraction postive thinking stuff, I just don't believe the world works like that.  I wish it did but karma and these types of forces do not exist.  Good things always happen to bad people and vice versa.

Good control, different from me who keeps betting even though I have lost more. So far I'm still losing money, but I'm still going to keep trying to make it green in my portfolio because I'm still sure that this year will benefit me in gambling after a long rest. Patience to pursue profit is the main thing that I will struggle for so that greed does not control my emotions.

I haven't calculated on how much I made this year so far. It's quite early to ask other gamblers on how much they made but for those sports bettors there would be significant increase on their bankroll and winnings.

Nice, if you can't take it and you think that you're not feeling lucky it's best for you to stop. Playing safe should be the attitude of most when they can't feel the luck on themselves. Taking a break doesn't mean you're a loser it just means that you know how to control.

In my own experience in gambling I am not really get lose I get enjoy while playing spent my extra money winning is an extra benefits i got.

Maybe this is interesting, when many people think that cryptocurrency will die because of government regulation or other things that continue to prove that it doesn't like cryptocurrency. However, this is not a new innovation, I just found out when gambling has become the most important aspect for the progress of cryptocurrency, and even I think without any regulation cryptocurrency will continue to grow only by being used as a gambling tool. But I am still trying to get profit in gambling especially for gambling dice, I have not yet gotten the profit I want.

Don't expecting too much in gambling because you know what is the results in the end. But you could still playing gambling and hope you can win some money but once again, don't depend on the gambling itself. You mean you are gambling in real life and not in gambling site ? That must be a great thing to have. I understand you have invested big in cryptocurrencies and waiting for them to boom. I agree it is another type of gambling in real life whereas most people are just trying out their luck only in gambling houses. Personally I'm not seeing any big differences in my gambling just for the reason of having another new year. My gambling is going as usual and I'm not expecting any big differences with my gambling. This year for me will be just an average score in gambling, not win and not too lose. I think this will not be so favorable year but I will still try my luck with gambling. I started off in 2019, better than everyone else. This year on average is better than last year, in this period. I've got a few strategies I'm prying around and it works fine, I hope it will continue this year. Everything that goes through the years is all the more experienced in gambling and I understand some of the things I did not know before.

Although the year is still young to start taking stock of activities but its equally an important thing to do because without it, one can be wallowing in losses thinking that the seldom winnings would have overshadowed the losses that has been re-occurring. For me, it has not been all bad because I have had some share of winnings at the same time losses but looking at it holistically from the net position, I can say I am not really doing bad although the marginal is almost closing up to the negative position.

Honestly I stopped looking at it on year to year basis. I do not remember what I gained or lost last month let alone a whole year. After a while of gambling all the wins and losses combine to each other and look like a big mess. I think I have lost some money but there was two very big wins on my part that I was lucky to get and I am not sure if they made any difference.

I mean I know I made a huge loss without them but with them maybe I am closer to break even but still on the negative side. The problem is I do usually make a decent return on the NBA games I bet on but when I go to more casino games like slots and dice and whatever I surely lose all my earnings there, if only I stop gambling on the casino games I could definitely make profits on gambling but I just love and have fun with them so much.

I will ruled out about cryptocurrencies price because it does not showing good sign but for gambling starting this year i was could won several times through sport betting and compare my gambling results from last year is not so different that lost still dominate my statistics but looking forward for this time of year because currently still January i wish my bets results will getting better and better for upcoming months

When you decide to gambling with crypto, the risk are as greater as twice !
Especially with current value where most crypto continue downtrending, your profit in crypto also decrease.

THE risk is always higher when gambling with crypto as crypto in future will be rising and if you lose crypto in gambling means you are losing huge opportunity which other wise could be possible if you hold your coins . Well if you put it that way, might as well avoid gambling altogether. It's the same for me if you gamble with crypto since you're not really after the fiat equivalent. 1btc lost is 1 btc lost regardless of it's value. I haven't tried any kind of gambling yet for 2019 since there have been too many unfortunate events for me just in the first month so i won't add losing money to those unfortunate events.

During my entire gambling period, my favorite year is 2015, but it was online. So I made money and in those years I managed to unwind for a new car from gambling. But it was hard, I spent a lot of time playing the game and it was not interesting to me anymore, but you have to admit the award is emphatic.

Fun is directly related to winning money and if you are not on the winning side, there will be no fun for you.

This year wasn't very profitable to me. Even when I was winning and I was accumulating more crypto, the value of them was falling ending to a stagnant balance in my wallet. I used to play dice and try to earn more by gambling at 2x odds but after I saw losing money then I turned to poker. In poker I feel like there aren't all things based on luck so I have some chances to win.

For me, i have not done much gambling since this year start however i mostly bet on matches and have a good record of wining.

Not totally favorable to me but still im doing great and still having few bucks in my wallet.  It may good enough for me rather than of getting nothing.  We work hard and that's enough to have something to be in return, the only thing is that..it is truly far from what we've got during bullish season just like it happen last 2017.

You need to prevent from playing gambling too long and don't spend too much money because you will lose and you will feel difficult to stop the game. Yes, sports bet yielded some good results for me in the last week or so.

But landbased casinos? I won like 3 days ago, was able to recover what I've lost in the previous weeks, but I lost last night again but I'm net positive still. But I won't risk going today, maybe tomorrow with friends to claim some sports bet winning but I don't know if I would play though.

I Were many people were not able to quit bitcoin or gambling because they had no other choice. Its always a good tactic to keep something in the backup so cover up for the bearish phase.

I wonder if bookies try to "cheat" us by offering low odds, for example I know Napoli is stronger than Sampdoria but not strong enough to have an odd of 1.24

Good that you are making some bucks form the gambling hopefully not really addicted or into it that you need to make money from gambling only. Play for entertainment and they way you can enjoy the game too and if won in the process consider it lucky and enjoy.

When it comes in gambling there is always a risk because there is money involved here, once money is involved we must expect that there is always losing stake and winning stake even in business, there is a bankruptcy. Just like gambling, we can lose all our money in a day or we can win or hit the jackpot. Maybe this year must be not so favorable year for us in gambling but once we know our limitations we can still play and just use the amount what we can afford to lose.

It is just a matter of taking the full accountability to take that risk and get ready for what is the outcome. In fact you have the ability to insure your winnings if you do know how to analyze the whole game before you play.

Good year for you mate. this year I still haven't benefited yet but with tenacity, maybe I can turn around that conditions. I use that strategies also, like you. when I profit that day, then I will withdraw my capital to my wallet and use my profits to play tomorrow. so that strategy can reduce the amount of losses that you may get later

I've got few action on my gambling status for this year but it's not that productive enough. I have few wins with sports bet but I can't say that it's an achievement for me because I know how much I've been betting and I'm making sure that each bet I have will win.

2018 wasn't so good to be real, the market has been down and only the first quarter was the time that I would love to spend bitcoins. Now, it's on different case the market has been stagnant and I changed my mind to spend few of it in gambling. I have limited myself on not to be broke and I wish luck that I'll follow my rule alone.

Unfortunately, I never counted how much money I used in gambling and how much total loss / win I got. However, I could pass 2018 without leaving a bad trace in my finances caused by gambling. That is a good achievement for me. At the very least, gambling doesn't destroy me in 2018 and hopefully it will always be so for the following years.

So far all i gain is losses,then maybe i can literally say this year is not favorable to mine I don’t know in future or maybe not since i am not planning to add some loss from my funds because this year might be another dumper so funds must be kept intact

It's just the second month of the year, but time flies so fast. Anyways, for gambling, at the start, it was pretty awesome, but as I continued gambling, I lost everything that I won (I just won from a contest, and that's what I used to bet). This year isn't showing hypes which is everyone have looking it since last year, I know how hard it is and some of us never makes profits instead of still in losing. I do feel that early this year isn't favorable to me but I'm still hoping that the trend will change its direction and turn back into rising again.

The disadvantage of this was that in case of loss, i become depressed and my mood become sad. But then i started track my wining and losing amounts. I do not track my wins and loses as well but I never felt depressed or sad because I have a limit. Once I lost then I will start a new gamble day without looking back to my previous loses. I have seen the opinion from many people that 2018 was not a good year for bitcoin trading and investments. Those who have invested in early part of that year are mostly at the loss. We cannot that 2019 will be same for us as it is just the beginning and we never know if the things could started to change after June 2019 and the bull market may return by the end of this year.

Yeah your disappointment pretty much comes from yourself. I'm also not in a good position this year when it comes to gambling but i don't really get affected that much simply because the amount i've lost or the amount i'm losing is something that i can afford to lose. I don't think gambling is the passive source to earn income on a regular basis. In fact, it is not profitable and you will know it if you are in this industry for a long time. Because you will not win consistently here and once you started losing it then you will play more to recover all the losing amount and therefore you will get towards this industry.

The whole crypto market have faced a real challenge ever since the downfall have started way back the entrance of the year 2018 in which we have seen the sudden dropping of the price from the precious peak on December 2017 which is really shocking to think about it. But good thing that the market have already shown positivity when 2019 have come into our calendars maybe because of the one decade celebration of Bitcoin or it's just the correction year has finally done and we can now expect a slowly but surely rising up on the prices of the cryptocurrencies in the market right now. Yeah it has been kind of kind to gamblers as far as I know. Though I stay in the sports gambling area of the industry, I have heard about people making big gains at poker and dice. This might be the reason of a high influx of gamblers in the industry. They want to make money. Are you sure only 2% of the people win in gambling ? I don't think so. If the winning percentage was so low in gambling, then why would so many people still willing to do gambling ? Obviously they are not mad to invest in something which will make them lose money.
I do agree that  winning percentage of gambling is less than the losing percentage but it is definately not so less.

I have watched a short documentary video about gambling where 6 people plays gambling and 4 people loss while the other two won . If ever these two people win double, the gambling owner can still pocket some profit from the other 4 people that loss . This makes gambling a profitable business but there is no good or bad year when gambling although there is when it comes to cryptocurrency gambling as we all know that crypto can sometimes low on other years  .

As for me, personally, I don't engage much in gambling. I just only play in small betting games like poker with my friends. I have won several games which enabled me to gain some money. Longer you continue to gamble it is sure that you would end up losing the money beacuse the statistics show that longer time you gamble you end up losing the money rather than making the money from the gambling . So inevitable that you might not make money .

The year 2018 was not favorable to me especially in cryptocurrency investment. I have been up.to now holding the altcoin I invested with my btc for the project still not working and needing more time.to function if it will going to function. I will just hope that it the coin will be listed.
