Entering 5th month this year, sad to say I'm already in the negative and so I have to leave gambling for now as I have priorities this month and don't have that extra money to carry my gambling habits.

Yeah it has been kind of kind to gamblers as far as I know. Though I stay in the sports gambling area of the industry, I have heard about people making big gains at poker and dice. This might be the reason of a high influx of gamblers in the industry. They want to make money. Are you sure only 2% of the people win in gambling ? I don't think so. If the winning percentage was so low in gambling, then why would so many people still willing to do gambling ? Obviously they are not mad to invest in something which will make them lose money.
I do agree that  winning percentage of gambling is less than the losing percentage but it is definately not so less.

Are you sure only 2% of the people win in gambling ? I don't think so. If the winning percentage was so low in gambling, then why would so many people still willing to do gambling ? Obviously they are not mad to invest in something which will make them lose money.
I do agree that  winning percentage of gambling is less than the losing percentage but it is definately not so less.

I have watched a short documentary video about gambling where 6 people plays gambling and 4 people loss while the other two won . If ever these two people win double, the gambling owner can still pocket some profit from the other 4 people that loss . This makes gambling a profitable business but there is no good or bad year when gambling although there is when it comes to cryptocurrency gambling as we all know that crypto can sometimes low on other years  .

This is good to know. This response of yours was posted last January and it's May already. I'm hoping that your luck is still as good as that of the date you have posted this. As for me, personally, I don't engage much in gambling. I just only play in small betting games like poker with my friends. I have won several games which enabled me to gain some money. But that will be too difficult to speculate in online gambling because we never know if we can win or not.
