I observed lately, bitcoin continues to decline and it is difficult to rise to the top, do you think this bearish trend will continue until Q2 2019? If the situation gets worse (the price drops), do you still want to stand up and hold it until the end of 2019? It seems that I have to take a vacation, so I don't get too bored.

There is no certain answer if you ask whether bitcoin will rise during this year but for sure it will definitely do well than previous years with proper adoption and expansion in the financial sector and I will hold and continue with bitcoin even bitcoin doesn't rise in this year because I believe due to its increasing popularity and demand soon its price will recover but it might take some time which is the reason patient is very important if we need to make good profits

Investing is boring and need more time before it accumulate but its ok, as long as its bitcoin you will be good. Take some vacation, I’m telling its worth it especially if that money is come from the profit. I hope for the best this year at no specific quarter, I will hold and buy more.

I still think bitcoin could go down a lot further according to technical analysis and the 2013 to 2014 history chart of bitcoin. This price could plummet below 2800 or 3100 dollars and once it had its final crash then bitcoin can start recovering and starts its whole year uptrend cycle the following days will dictate btc path whether to go up or down lower.

For now we are in a bearish market and holding BTC is not a good idea but, it does not mean that we can not earn in this market condition. You can short your bets on Bitmex or pick some potential alt coins like TRX. People do say the altcoins are not worth they are sitcoins and all but you look into the reality TRX is bullish since November 2018. Currently these are the only solutions. 2020 may be a game changer as there is next halving in 2020. Keep monitoring the market so that you will have clear picture.

The crypto market are passing a tough time .Its a long bearish momentum going on .I think market is not anyone hand ,no one can controll the market so it is so tough to say that market can recover soon .But i think we don't need to wait long time to get the positive momentum .Hopeful that bitcoin can recover its value soon i think we can hold our asset until reach our expected level.

One of my prediction about the bitcoin is it will start to pump in one of the month of third quarter just like what happen in the year of 2017. If suddenly the price of bitcoin get worse many people will become scared but if you good and wise trader you do not need to panic because you know it will be good opportunity to buy a lot. Maybe we a uprising of the price of bitcoin in the third or fourth quarter of this year.

Relax mate this is just the second month and there is a lot of things might going to happen. To me, there's no need to be anxious about the price of BTC every day or every month so long as you have your target. This problem of being very depressed due to the market usually arises due to investing money that you really need in your day to day life.
If you are planning to HODL, invest what you can afford to lose, lock it up and forget it for about 5-6 years. Hodling for months or just a year doesn't really help that much

This is the best time to accumulate more of bitcoin the bearish market is not a permanent one but temporary one and with this no one  can tell when the next huge bull market will enter.

Last 1 year Bitcoin price going down and down and i never thought that bitcoin got down below 5000$.i was held some altcoin and btc because 2018 bitcoin will be back but its down .So i think bitcoin price is running 2000$-4000$ this year and altcoin price follow bitcoin and some ico and company do not listen to their coin any exchanger because of the crypto market down.

In my opinion all this year we will see this trend and in the next year we will begin to see the recovery. This year there is nothing that drives a great increase of prices, for example ETF is still pending for approval and its chances of being approved are very few. another case is BAKKT that is also in the same situation as the ETF and their chances of approval are very small. With this I can say that I wait for next year to see the price recovery

Well for if the price in the market still continues to drop I'm still here and hodl it because I believe that everything will be back on track again maybe it's slowly but surely it will rise up again. No one can predict any situation but I know there's good thing will happen.

I will stil continue to hold it for the better even for another one whole year of 2019. My goal is for long term and my mindset is strong enough to bear it. But dont worry, it will become better sonner. For now, i hold coins and focus on other things that can become a profit so that i cant stress myself and also earning on another way.

It is difficult to ascertain which direction bitcoin will move, whether it increases or even decreases even lower, and even though bitcoin is in a bad condition but I never thought of leaving bitcoin.

I can see that bitcoin has to stabilize and this year's value will increase. I do not dare to say what value, but if we are worth $ 10k, we will all like it.
The only tactics for this year i consider "hold" and wait for growth - a long-term perspective. In the short term, buy under $ 3.5k and sell over $ 4k.
Anyway, i think that crossing the border all-time-high comes, just do not know whether this year.

Expecting results in 2 to 5 years is not what many are actually expecting

I'm not too worried for that, even for me, this is a good opportunity to be able to invest more. because in me there is still a belief that bitcoin will recover, whether for a few years or more months. I don't care, the most important thing is that I will only take the opportunity in each of these adversities. and when bitcoin exceeds the limit, I will smile.

I know that most of you feel so discombobulated about bitcoin price and we all know that its unpredictable, so if you want to earn profit and bear in the market you have to be patient. 2019 can be a good year for all investors, bitcoin is slowly improving and it takes time so patience is the key to be successful.

The clearest option for us right now is to be patient. Bitcoin doesn't look bad right now, its not like the 2018 horrible market, we are not looking great neither but we are certainly not looking bad. The market went upto 20 thousand dollars once and we saw what we were missing, we had a lot of issues to handle and we were not ready for it.

Now in 2018 we had a lot of investments made to crypto related business, we had a lot of new coins showing how the transactions could cost less, we have segwit and possibly lightning network that allows bitcoin to be cheap. We are moving towards a world where bitcoin can sustain higher prices this time and not drop off because of the lack of preparation.
Hopefully, we are looking better and better prepared for a bull and when we get it we will not let it go next time around.

Nobody knows the future, can only make estimates and is only limited to speculation, and if you want good results then you must be patient.

I tend to disagree with this sentiment

Indeed, from a view point of a long-term holder who bought a few bitcoins anywhere above 15k in 2018 it may have been quite brutal. But I don't think 2019 is a lot better. It may look and feel better but this is entirely psychological (let's call it mind games). After all, the price right now is at its lowest (well, not exactly the lowest but pretty close)

So, while it may actually feel better as prices stopped crashing, technically, we are still way worse than most of 2018. Further, there was a lot of price action throughout the year as massive falls were followed by monumental rebounds, which you could use and should have used to trade profitably. This is no longer the case now

Even the price of bitcoin is not good until now and there is no possibility that the price of bitcoin will rise again, but for me i want to be a bitcoin holder until the price of bitcoin goes up again and back to its position to bring a big profit for those people who are holding their bitcoin until that time.

Hopefully it does. There have been a lot of times when the market showed green in general for a few days and was really promising, but then turned around again. I guess we really can't expect a sustained recovery just yet unless we get a legitimate catalyst to start off a run.

It's too early to tell

Bitcoin rising 300 dollars doesn't mean a major recovery as it is only a minor rebound, probably before tanking lower. There were quite a few recently, with prices rising over 4k and we still couldn't stay there. As I see it, the real recovery will start after we break out of 5k. This price will be a major resistance level with lots of shorts entering the market, and if we fail to penetrate it, we will still be in a long-term downtrend

A good return after the Chinese new year had a good impact on the crypto market, perhaps this is the return of investors who have taken a short break. With optimism, I still hope that bitcoin can increase again so the altcoin will also follow it.

Little rise, bitcoin is keeping this level between 3 and 4 thousand dollars for a while. When I started with bitcoin price dropped hard to 150 dollars, and entire 2015 and 16 were between 200 and 400 dollars. Only in the end of 2016 we had price over 500 dollars and than explosion in 2017. This is like deja vu for me, we are holding this position and I think this position will last entire year, so don`t be too exited, price can drop again. We are not moving from here before next year.

BTC believe to be able to definitely stand up as what this technology has been made. It does faces a lot of obstacles but it always gives us hope if we just believed in it. It's been more than 10 years and it continues to be more useful especially when it comes to helping the community. I think we go sideways, put very simply because any great prediction relys on development not just fundamental but market reaction to crypto pricing after spiking so highly.     So call it digestion but really 2019 I would guess is a period of reflection and underlying protocol advancement hopefully but in terms of price its the tail end of people selling then after 2019 perhaps realising they were selling far too late.    

Even though we can predict the selling will be overdone it doesnt really stop it happening, majority of us are motivated short term unfortunately.   I think thats just human nature, poorly organised strategy for many people and then quite a few after will end up rebuying at prices higher then they sold.   Its exactly what happens with stocks and I dont imagine crypto is so much different in its herd dynamic

I think this will continue in 2019, seeing now there are no signs of change or improvement. I will continue to hold it back because if I sell it will certainly suffer a big loss, so it is better for me to keep holding it and buy some bitcoin. Remain stable and start growth are different things

At least, this is how I see it. Stable prices are not so good for investors as for people going to use bitcoins in real life, whatever those applications might be. Volatility adds a lot of overhead to such uses as people either have to use sophisticated techniques like hedging or stop using cryptocurrencies altogether (in favor of fiat). On the other hand, expanding real life use may in fact attract so-called value investors (provided they see some potential in this use to expand further)

Of course holding is still my choice, I don't think hard about the current market conditions and I think casually that the market will definitely grow.

Having a long term plan gives you more leverage than people day trading or shorting. Though long term can be subjectable from a few months to years. For 2019 i think there's profit to be made especially if you get in around this time and hold for let's say until 3rd or 4th quarter.

Bitcoin in 2019 is the same as bitcoin in 2015 and 2018 . why ? Its because all years mentioned do experienced a dump and stagnant price .

luckily , on the year 2020 there will be a halving and that can be a solution for the btc price to recover  . oh and i forgot to mention , there are also rumored bakkt and etf that said to occur this year .

Last but not the least . you can also add the eth constantinopole fork .  all of those events can surely give an impact to the btc and to the overall crypto market as well .

Bitcoin is progressing with adoption than last year but we wouldn't see a significant bull run because due to the last price decline some investors are hesitant to invest in bitcoin than the past due to the unpredictability but I hope this situation will change with time because there is a trend increasing companies are trying to combine crypto with there core payment processes to gain more money targeting cryptocurrency holders which can be beneficial for Bitcoin to recover at least to a considerable level in 2019

Holding is only beneficial form here if you do have good coins like btc, Eth etc you will end up getting a good returns in future. But for the worthless coin it wont make much difference as you can sell now if they do have any value still left.

That is partially true. I used to hodling some coins that were earned from bounties, airdrops or other activities that were connected with the promotion of a project and I regret hodling them for a long period of time. I was expecting that the price of them will pump but what I was experiencing was that they were just dropping.
I think that the price of Bitcoin can push them forward (if the price of bitcoin goes up) but this happens in rare situations.

Bitcoin in 2019 seems to be more progressive, as a beginning the market has turned bullish. As predicted we're nearing the $4000 tag with majority of the altcoins growing good. Ethereum has shown the best growth in the entire market, expect ethereum to be more progressive than bitcoin in 2019.

True that there have continuous decline in the price of Bitcoin,  but you should also know that the decline will only be for a temporary period, and it is advisable to buy more Bitcoin now.

For the second quarter of the year, the price of bitcoin is likely to increase a bit, since it has maintained a slight lateralization that is very beneficial, since it can become a possible resistance, or a zone of liquidity.
