Well, ethereum is simply more stable, thus more reliable when it coems to calculating the desired amount to receive. I see nothing particularly surprising about the situation, good on them for trying competing blockchains, too.

It is normal. Because everyone is more familiar with Ethereum than NEO or any other coins. If you involve in crypto then you must have ETH or BTC, but everyone doesn't have NEO, XRP and other big coins. So, it is thinkable that ICO or STO projects set their cap with Ethereum and they always prefer to receive ETH from the investors, because it is easier than others!

I don’t see any problem on this one, this is just a conversion, it just like you are creating new coins under ETH and yet your basis is bitcoin. ETH is a good coin, so this can be the reason why they decided to make it a basis for their project, if you are planning to make a new project I’m sure you are willing to accept any coins especially with bitcoin.

Jajajaja what a garbage coin. this is a scam coin, they wanna raise ethereum only for the money purpose and used garbage platform like EOS. That's why we must do a lot of research because there was a lot of dumb person created ico.

Some ERC20 tokens even accepted not just bitcoin but other altcoins that they prefer. They created on a NEO blockchain but they want to accept their cap with Ethereum, I don't see any problem with that. It is what they want and it's okay to accept caps through ethereum.

They will just compute all the collected coins regardless of what coin is that, they'll just depend on the amount through Ethereum's price by that time.  Oh well, how's their sale by that time?

ETH is the most preferred currency for most ICOs because of the ease of using it with a smart contract. Cannot do that with payments in BTC or other coins.

It's the reason of the sudden dump, they will take ETH during the ICO but will eventually convert it to NEO.

Tron for example is a huge market, when they decided to shift on their own blockchain this resulted to ETH dump, with this continuing
ICO trend that only accepting popular coins, it will make a certain coins accepted more volatile.

Yes, but there are still several coins of the same stable and bringing no less income. Therefore, the ETH though the most massive in the application, but must constantly think about competitors.

You will always have pioneers and innovators and you will then have the plethora of competition that comes up right after to try to compete and take part of the market share. This is business as usual, even in the Cryptosphere. I actually do like competition when it spurs innovation and growth in technology. It is very healthy if there is this kind of competition because it makes the Innovator or Pioneer less lazy and if ETHEREUM is clever it will invest in resources to stay one step ahead of the curve, to adapt and innovate to make a stronger and better ETHEREUM model for years to come. Let's take competition as a healthy marker to make sure Ethereum can step up the pace to scale, otherwise, it could lose its shine over the longer term.

NEO is usually full of real apps whereas ethereum ones are scammy. Nonetheless, ethereum remains the platform of choice for now. NEO is still playing catchup

I have been in the crypto industry for many days and I was involved with many projects which were based on Ethereum, Steller, TRON, NEO and so one. One thing was common, that every ICO/ITO/STO projects wanted ETH, BTC as an investment! Because before NEO or any other platforms and coins, everyone's first choice is BTC and ETH and these two coins are like the King and Queen of the crypto market or the base of the crypto platform. So, whatever platform you choose, you can't ignore ETH! But that doesn't mean you want to be ETH, rather ETH is an investment way or the money here.

maybe they just want Ethereum from investor, because if they really serious for building their project using NEO they must accepted and converted the rated the token to NEO not Ethereum

A lot of investors have ETH so i think, it would be easy for they if they will accept ETH for their project but it doesn’t mean they want ETH too much, maybe there’s a reason behind this one, NEO is also a good coin.

ETH is the most stable coin when it comes to smart contract therefore investors will prefer using it as their major coin of alts although NEO coin is a good one but they prefer the ETH platform. BTC is the major coin used in this industry and ETH is the major alt that is why they are converting to eth whatever their coin is.

I think ethereum is also a platform that has good potential in the future, because ethereum prices are now also relatively stable compared to other altcoins.

I do not understand why ICOs need so high soft cap. Look what past-ICOs are doing with money, nothing, no listing, no progress.

Isn't that because of crypto market instability? You know, the bull and bear... Probably must of them are waiting and planning. Not to carry out the project, as it will be more expensive right now.

Ethereum is my most favorite coin even in the bitcoin. This is the most potential coin in all coin and people for sure have a lot of ethereum to their wallet because they are preparing for the ethereum to increase the value of it.  Buy more ethereum now and you will get what you want in the future.

There is nothing unusal about asking payment in ETH for this ICO. ETH is usually a top preferred currency for most ICOs irrespective of platform.

Eth is still an important piece of coin and many like it, this is not surprising if Eth has the heart of crypto lovers. Eth is still popular and this will still be a potential coin for the future, it's natural if the platform is always used by ICO, NEO is less interested, so Eth will give him more opportunities to grow well.

The feeling of trust in ethereum is quite high and makes people really prefer ethereum as their investment and also use the platform from ethereum than others

Hope this is not another garbage coin cause raising found in etheruem and accepting Neo only is so confusing how can the soft and hard caps be in etheruem and the acceptable coin be neo, that alone ring an alarm in my mind that the project will not be successful if it have any potential at all.

I'm pretty sure this will be a garbage coins because it's very confusing even for an experienced investor. And that is the biggest mistakes of this coin, and I'm sure they will get just a few investors on them. Not reliable and totally confusing, to say the least.

It is like with projects based on Ethereum platform, but collected funds in Bitcoin or fiat. As Bitcoin is for Ethereum, so Ethereum is for NEO.
They use scale in ETH, because it is easier for investors to count and understand the situation.

I don't see there is any problem with they do, you can get your cap in all coins as far as an conscience even if you just used one method to accept fund, you can decide to collect 35 ETH and make your market cap at 1 btc. Even EOS that ran a project that will compete with ETH first did their ICO on the ethereum blockchain before switching to theirs after it was built. This is the main reason I like crypto, what a free market.

Anyone may get paid with anything regardless of where they will be working. I guess if Satoshi had hired some tech people to assist him then they might have got paid in fiats and definitely not in bitcoins as bitcoin was valuing almost nothing at those times.

I thought so too. Moreover, I suggested that it could be obvious and hidden scammers. But there is a good sign in all this: everyone(and scammers) wants  ethereum ;D ;D ;D.

If it's about the price, there's another altcoin which have higher value than eth and even more than 3 times higher. This is about altcoin that have awesome reputation and have high volume in the market, so that we know ethereum are more reliable and why people chosing eth than another.
